I am not familiar with the "JV company" could someone fill me in on the details??? Thanks.
Storm...I don't recall, did you earlier plot a chart to show the timeframe/growth in i-ad impressions? I suspect it would provide a revealing trend line.
That's fine. I "get" your argument, but is does NOT impact me in anyway because my investment objective here is NOT about daily pps. That does not mean that one should disagree nor discredit, either. In a discussion, it allows everyone the opportunity to learn from others and share varying outlooks and perspectives. Some have different objectives. In the end, though, we would all like to make a profit on our investments. Ultimately, that is the commonality for everyone. No problem with that, but one person does not have to subscribe nor support the objectives or methods of another. Eventually, this little company, given its penchant for innovation and cutting edge exposure is going to evolve into a selling dynamo, in my humble opinion. That is what keeps me interested, seeing their progress. Cream rises to the top eventually, always. Patience is a virtue, and so on.
I am not into skim, skim, buy and sell, skim, skim, and so on.
Negativity = discrediting others because they have a different investment objective.
I agree that on a DAILY basis only, and NOT as a long term investor, pps matters and volume will be noticed by those interested in a flash in the pan. In retrospect, it would appear that "game changing news" of 21 months ago caused an amazing, swift run-up in the pps. Obviously, that did not pan out or the short termers bailed out at the crest of the wave of interest then, which would support the argument that only pps matters. Perhaps the majority of investors here are just looking for a few quick bucks to be made and therefore lament there is no volume. I am in MRNJ because it is a niche that I want to be invested in...had provided my investment objectives a means to be invested in this exciting new business...MRNJ managers elucidated a long-term mantra a couple years ago and have followed consistently ever since with blogging the progress since. I subscribe to their long-term mindset and recognize that it is an ongoing business evolution that is creating "game changing news" in slow motion, slower motion than the obviousl "hit and run" investors are used to digesting, encountering, or care to stick around and wait out. So there are clearly 2 fundamentally different schools of thought going on here, and it has created some misunderstandings and questions.
Me too...a shopping bag holder...think I'll load up on some MRNJ apps for the Holidays!
Yes, manipulation to suppress pss is rampant following quarterlies here, consistent on that anyway...especially huge effort on that recently! As for the argument put forth that is suggestive that MRNJ is overvalued compared to other pink stocks, that is a comparison of apples and oranges, especially when only offered as a generalization. It DOES NOT address the nature of MRNJ's business model and its unique position in the most potentially explosive niche business to be in at PRESENT time.
Daily fluctuations of the past are not as relevant.
That's a very curious statement..while often claiming that the company is routinely diluting/dumping...it clearly DOES NOT move the pps. Something NOT making sense with this theory.
Storm, thanks for the highlited post. I had read today's blog but had missed the MASSIVE increase in i-ads. Thanks for pointing that out in RED...it reflects on overall interest in MRNJ apps and I surmise sales in general, which is confirmed by the record sales day yesterday. The benefit of the mega-apps cannot be more obvious now. I-ad volume is certainly surpassing my earlier expectations...I had hoped a few months ago that we might reach 10 million by the end of this year and we are nearly at 12 million. That is astonishing.
From November 20th, 2012 Metatron blog:
"Glenn Harrolds Ultimate Hypnosis Update has been in review for a while now, it appears Apple is back-loged. As you know, Glenn's Relax and Sleep Well app is our top seller and has been as high as #5 on iTunes charts. We believe with this update, Ultimate Hypnosis will take the #1 spot soon."
I don't know about the breakdown on app sales. I think it is a fair question to wonder if November turned out to be the 6th consecutive month of record sales...hopefully, seems logical since Tolle gave the end of the month consistently upbeat sales. I recall the question was raised in the past week on this discussion board. I think it is indeterminate at the moment. Perhaps Storm has all the numbers and could offer a more exact comment on it? Too, it may have been and yet for some reason the 3 month YOY was deemed more important to mention at this time, I don't know that for sure, either. Maybe they will hold off and address the specifics of it on Monday? Maybe it is being saved for mention in another blog of more importance about a major development, seems to me a similar thing happened when the
Gary Zukav press release was posted about a month ago. I think the most important thing in this evening's blog is that Ultimate Hypnosis is now approved in an updated design, which is anticipated to rival what the mega app version of Relax & Sleep Well has done the past several months. Getting that done on the 1st of December is good news for the anticipated surge of holiday interest in app buying for i-phones. That will raise revenues in the short and long term if it pans out as expected, and I don't see reason to doubt it will perform well.
Ultimate Hypnosis update approved by Apple
New blog, 97% YOY growth last3 months!
Holiday effect has begun, a few more weeks of this will show for sure
Impressive what minimal promotion can achieve
I thought this was a discussion board rather than blow by blow on the pps. Other things are fundamentally far more important, especially to anyone with a vision that extends beyond buy and sell, buy and sell. It is not surprising that there are fewer posts by longterm shareholders since there is endless pressure to redirect all conversations to the pps or the "now". This company is more about the future than the present. Time will bear that out.
I am VERY PLEASED that the status of Auto-Post was updated in yesterday's blog. For me, Auto-Post is a VERY exciting prospect. It should command the lion's share of the "buzz", in my opinion. Are people understanding the impact of being able to reach TENS OF MILLIONS of targeted consumers? MOREOVER, that this NEW technology is under Patent Pending, is something to be looking forward to...and...it is close to being submitted to Apple, ie, before their Dec. 21st holiday shutdown on submissions. That means within 3 weeks, Auto-Post, which we have known about since last August, will be very close to its launch.
I ALWAYS get a reply from IR. I got one just this morning, in fact.
How can you find out about the deal closings without the blogs?
well said
On the other hand, the company has a lot of positive things to talk about. Will look forward to any blogs that they have time to post...afterall, with their new client's apps in production and lots of other things going on they cannot spend all their time writing blogs, even without the naysayers.
Perhaps the company has seen that providing up-to-date activity blogs has seemed to have a negative effect. People are impatient and want results immediately. In lieu of ALL the rampant criticism lately of the blogs and their content, I can understand if the company stops providing all that information of what they have underway when it is pounced upon and discredited in every conceivable fashion. I would not go to the trouble to offer up the sharks tidbits to spit back at me. It is understandable and unfortunate but maybe a smart thing to do. Anyhow, in the long run, it will not matter one way or the other. If they stop giving out hints of what may come, then the naysayers will have to keep grinding away at the same old, old stuff. Then, when good news has transpired and is reported what can be criticized about that? The naysayers have effectively got what they wanted, silence. It won't effect me, other than to make the discussion board very boring, and not worth partipating on anymore. I am not buying nor selling. I am content where I am.
Someone sold a bunch in a hurry but I would not jump to the conclusion that when lots of shares are dumped it is always the company behind it.
I meant Q1 2013.
They said in their August blog that they expected to extend the moratorium on issuing more shares indefinitely beyond Q3. If you question this go back to August and reread the blog entry that was very clear about it.
This data paints a good picture of the strategies app developers will pursue, removing much of the guesswork which was inherent two years ago.
Thanks Storm, the stats really put it in perspective, especially the efficacy/results of promotion by ETV. Hopefully they are interested in this data and do more promoting.
Huge uptick in sales coming shortly with the holidays, which are traditionally their peak selling time. It will be very profitable. Record sales are coming, despite any great announcements, but I think that is a very distinct possibility, too, with the looming content deal and non-diluting financing arrangement, as per last week's MRNJ blog.
Just go back and read what they blogged in August about the extensions to the moratorium on increasing shares.
Read the August company blog that says it will be extended indefinitely thereafter with the claim that MRNJ is making enough revenue now to manage operations for the foreseeable future.
They should give thanks that such a "loser" company provides them opportunity for employment. The American Dream is amazing!
Generalizing about MRNJ is not going to sell me on the idea that I should sell my stock, forget it. That article claims 59% of the app makers are losers, but MRNJ is NOT in that group, for one thing. They are profitable and have captured a niche market. Their new APPFLIX mega movie app is a quantum leap beyond a traditional app and it will be greatly augmented by the patent pending Auto-Post. I would REALLY be a fool to follow anyone's advice and sell NOW before finding out where MRNJ is going in the next month.
I am presently reading WHAT THE DOG SAW, by Malcolm Gladwell. The title, so I have discerned, refers to his chapter on the Dog Whisperer. The book is VERY episodic but has MANY marvelous stories about innovators and creative property developers. I would say that MRNJ's recent trademark registration APPFLIX would be the sort of thing apropos to this sort of epic recounting, at least, in my humble opinion, it is the most exciting thing I have seen Metatron post recently, with regard to something "done". Now, we must look forward to the new content entity signing on and the funds to promote first tier content. It takes $$$ to make $$$.
I agree that small business is at a severe disasvantage to the internationals, which do not have to rely solely on the US economic dynamic. Creating a new business in any environment was never easy but harder still is keeping it running and reinventing itself and vibrant and ongoing. People who choose to be reliant and complacent have a different basic character from those who choose to be more self-reliant. I do not think that complacency and reliance will lead anyone to any great heights of discovery either about the world inside of them or externally. That is what I admire about the management of MRNJ, they are individuals with a new vision of how things can be, coupled with experience over a couple of decades. I think that they are the right team with the right experieince, right connections, at the right time, and trademark and patent applications reflect on their character, ie, innovative and not complacent. I believe in them. I even liked discovering this week that Joe Riehl is a musician. It shows an insight to his passion for creativity which is directed by his smarts. Thinking outside the box has no safety net but the rewards come in so many unanticipated ways if you stick it out and believe in yourself and your vision. I applaud Metatron for doing just that and thank them for letting us join in their quest.
Yes, freedom in it many manifestations is what we give thanks for. In our freedom lies our liberty and liberty leads to innovation and the release of the genie of imagination. Imagine the tragedy of being imaginative in a country where original thoughts are repressed? What a waste of human potential. So we give thanks that we can actualize our potential in the USA.
As for MRNJ, and apps, I totally agree with you that the young people who "get" apps, such as my nephew who is a small shareholder here, do NOT have the disposable investment funds and the time to search for investment gems such as MRNJ, and the older guys, like myself and former associates often DO NOT get apps. I was born in 1955, within a year of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and many others who have benefitted from the computer/internet age. If interested in this, read the book by the title, OUTLIERS by the author Malcolm Gladwell. At any rate, I embraced the computer when it first came out and it has served me handsomely. I told my former boss several months ago about MRNJ, he's in his 70's now. He went to his local branch of our state university and got someone's opinion of apps. He was told they are a passing fad and DO NOT invest in anything related to them, so he told me to sell MRNJ immediately and so on, which was well-intentioned but obviously not followed.
You are right, the paradygm shift is happening slowly and slowly more forcefully, it is akin to a stick that is being bent and pressed down on, it will give way eventually and when it does there will be no going back to the way it was before the threshold of the tipping point was crossed over. The app revolution is underway.
Colectinmrnj...the naysayers that stick around do help to get the rest of us to think of where there are holes in their logic, so it is a good mind game, and may even backfire and turn some of them into shareholders eventually, who knows? It WILL NOT influence my staying power. For myself, as an everyday MRNJ shareholder, the blogs of company's ambitions are the best guidance. I am also an ardent believer in Storm's consistent messages. It is unreasonable for anyone to think that a company executes to perfection on any of its ambitions. The ideal never reaches the real, but is DOES shape what becomes real. As an architect, I acutely comprehend it. I am pleased with MRNJ's management. My Dad started a company 40+ years ago. People laughed at his inventions in the beginning...laughed at his trademarked name, which several others later tried to steal, btw. He could not secure an SBA loan because his ideas were new and untried. Crafting a new vision of what can be is a process that takes indefatigable efforts and resilience. Today, he sells over 100 products, affected very little by the recession recently. MRNJ will success and it can success with persistence and determination. For those who think that MRNJ is a front to something shady, I am left agog. Why would a fake company apply for trademarks and patents, for example? The fees from the USTPO may be nominal by relative standards but the legal work is expensive. I think it costs us in the range of $20-30,000 to secure a patent when all costs, not just filing fees, are factored into it.
Additionally, I find it hard to believe the company would be behind downloading all these apps on a daily basis from 50-60 different countries, seems absurd.
Diode, I don't know what the constant unloading of shares using T-Trades means. An off the wall thought, maybe someone in Saudi Arabia is buying??? Anyhow, I wonder about things that resonate in patterns, throws up a flag of interest. Glad that we were alerted us to this ongoing situation. Not sure what it means, though...could also be manipulators selling shares at prearranged prices to others in their fold, since these after hours trades seem to be dropping the end-of-day trade pps. Amid all this ongoing speculation the past month, I do believe that manipulation is alive and well here.
