Isn't VHGI getting income right now from Indianapolis Power & Light? At least enough to keep the one mine operating and generating regular income with some profit to pay auditing bills, etc.?
There certainly is a complicated arrangement between Holloman and Terra Nova. My understanding is that TNVMF had to finance the 3D seismic and the drilling of the first set of wells(6?. If successful and on time, they get to keep 55% of the income from the wells after production costs are paid. I assume that any additional wells drilled would be financed in a similar manner, except that instead of issuing stock and warrants, TVMF would use proceeds from the 55% to pay for adding new wells. Holloman just sits back and collects 28%. I believe Holloman's only expense is in maintaining the leases. I hope they both succeed and I own both.

tchauncy: My wife has a friend who lives in Sydney and just returned home from a trip to Europe. She sent an e-mail saying how they have been getting unusual rain in Sydney since she got home. I tried to find weather reports for central Australia, but no luck. Was wondering if the weather could have been an issue with getting the rig on site. Thanks. GO HENC
Thanks for the good laugh. Few and far between here. Hope that will change when consistent good scripts reports for ARNA start coming in. GLTA
Moneystocker: Lived 2 blocks up from Windansea beach for 25 years and just moved to San Francisco so my wife could be a full time grandma.
Nice board here, with several great providers of DD. Its tough waiting for news, but the filing of the 10-K helped to restore some faith in management. Now all we need is the Q and loan news. GO VHGI.
MoneyStocker: Thanks for the great update. But I am baffled by your statement: for those that have not called the company I would suggest you do so! Surely Jim and others at the mine/company have better things to do than repeat the same story over and over to anxious VHGI shareholders. Much better that someone like you makes a call once in a while and relays info such a you have done here. Hoping the Q is out soon. GLTA
Robfyre: That's OK, there is a 1st time for everything. I'm in several other big board stocks which have been the subject of her predictions, and not one of those predictions has come true yet. She says her record is "accurate" and "hot", but not in my experience. Good luck to you with HENC -this is the real deal here.
Please, not Sierra!! Her predictions are "for entertainment purposes only". Did you read the disclaimer as the bottom of the link you supplied??

Hi Pierre; I am long a moderate starter position here and hoping for the best, but that video has me worried. Removing 30 feet of sand is no easy task. You can't just move the 30 feet directly over the ship, otherwise there would be steep banks of sand around the ship which could cave in at any time. The removal has to extend outwards all around the ship so the sand has a gradual slope of no more than 30 degrees to protect the divers. I don't think these people are intentional scammers, but competance is an issue here as well. GLTA
don't waste your time looking at that stupid video. All it shows it a diver blowing jets of water into the sand causing clouds of turbulence and ruining visibility. Anybody who knows anything about undersea exploration knows the real way to uncover buried items is to suck the sand into the dredgepipe and the pump it out as far away as possible from the site - down current from the site if there is a known tidal current in the area. That way the overburden is gradually removed and visibility for the divers is maintained. sheesh, what a disappointment. I'll probably get bashed by the pumpers here, but the truth is the truth.
Hello geo, and welcome to HENC. Lets hope we have better outcome here than we did at that supposed Mississippian Lime play we were in a while ago. Luckily, I listened to (fraud sleuth) poster "MWM" and got out in time. I don't expect to see him posting negative DD here because these Holloman people appear to be straight shooters. GLTA
(if) Your shares are in a "margin" account and its just part of the rules of the margin account that they can be lended out.
Biopharm: You should be aware that some brokers have an additional caveat to the above rule. Interactive Brokers has told me that unless I am actually using margin myself, non of my shares will be made available for shorting. I do not know if other brokers follow this rule, but it would be prudent to ask. I only have a margin account so that I don't have to wait 3 days for a sale to clear before I can use the proceeds from the sale.
Rsrch1st: great post demonstrating a lot of maturity for someone who appears to be an IHub newbie. Glad to have you posting on VHGI.
phrocks: all kinds of numbers are tossed around regarding oil wells.
Initial flow rates are misleading, because allowing the well to flow freely could cause premature depletion and not getting the "good to the last drop" effect. See post #1389:
I would be thrilled with 800 BPD sustainable production.
********************************************************************
In July 2012, the Mustang-1 oil exploration well intersected an interpreted net oil pay of 4.0 metres in the oil-bearing sands of the mid-Birkhead Formation over the interval 1,787.0 to 1,791.5 metres. During a drill stem test, oil flowed to surface after 23 minutes and continued to flow at a rate equivalent to approximately 2,500 bopd. The well was then cased and suspended as a future oil producer.
The well continued to demonstrate excellent reservoir quality during initial production testing. Mustang-1 was completed as a free-flowing oil producer in early September 2012 and produced the equivalent of 6,700 bopd through a ¾ inch choke during a 15 minute clean up flow. During a subsequent 10 day production test, the well produced at a controlled rate of ~800 bopd through an 18/64 inch choke with minimal pressure depletion.
picco: not a stupid question at all. Glad to have you aboard.
You will find some wonderful DD on HENC provided in the posts of tchauncy. Thanks to his work, I started buying more than a year ago into $0.20s and have been adding monthly ever since. I'm a working guy like yourself that does not have a big pot to invest, but adding little chunks every month has worked out OK. Don't be worried that you didn't get in at the "bottom". A year from now $0.60s will look "bottom" enough. Please read the HENC posts in the last 4 pages of tchauncy's posts. It will be an hour well spent:

After the performance posted by the gold mining stocks during the last few months, perhaps references to gold may not be apropos here.
Could be that some day, a junior miner will come out with a PR claiming "drilling sample results indicate we may a Kevetrin lab here!!" GO CTIX
Wook: Per info I found, Phage Pharma is located at 6868 Nancy Ridge Road, which is NOT in Sorrento Valley, but in the Mirmar area about 5 miles away. If you have an address for an additonal (new) Phage site in Sorrento Valley, I'd be happy to check it out, as I live in La Jolla. GO PPHM
Thanks 58: this CTIX board is so civilized and focused on facts and data! After posting last night, I almost couldn't get to sleep for fear of waking up in the AM to a slew of vitriol for being a basher, etc. as happened to me on other boards. Lets hope this will be a great week for CTIX.
58: Kevetrin has proven to be non-genotoxic in clinical trials
I believe that what you meant to say was "proven to be non-genotoxic in preclinical trials" (using nude mice). Hope info on cohort 4 will become avialable this week to show good progress in that endeavour. GO CTIX
4RO: if you are using a "cash" account, there is no way that any of your shares could be loaned out by your broker for shorting. By "cash:" I mean that you have to wait three days after you make a sale for your funds to clear so that your can buy stock again with those funds. If that is the case, your shares of any stock cannot be loaned for shorting. But you should verify this by calling your broker. Good luck and go PPHM.
Preventing your shares from being shorted depends on the rules of your broker. I have margin account at Interactive Brokers. I.B.'s rule is that if I use margin to buy any stock(s), all of my shares become eligible for shorting until such time as I erase the margin by funding the account with more cash, or selling some stock. Placing a sell order at a high number will not stop that. If I do not use margin (which is the case 90% of the time), none of my stocks will be available for shorting. I like that I am the one in control of that situation. Go PPHM.
Great post Euronator. Thank you for a great look at VHGI.
You right that it is strange that pinks do not get an "E", but we already have a "YEILD" symbol of otcmarkets.com. If these guys wait until we get a SKULL & CROSSBONES, all the pretty web site work won't mean a hill of beans. Sure hope it doesn't happen though, cause I'm long, but been burned before.
Benchman: there are serious problems if filing is more than 60 days late. (From SEC web site)
"E" Added To Stock Ticker Symbol
When a company that trades on the Nasdaq Stock Market or the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) falls behind in its reporting obligations with the SEC, the letter "E" is appended at the end of the company's stock ticker symbol. New York Stock Exchange-listed companies that are late in filing required reports to the SEC have the initials "LF" added to the end of their stock ticker symbol.
Markets have different approaches to companies that don't file required reports in a timely manner, or that file incomplete reports. For instance, on the OTCBB, after the "E" is added, the company is given a "grace period" to submit a complete report, typically 30 calendar days for U.S. companies and 60 calendar days for most U.S. banks and non-U.S. companies. If the company files complete required reports during the grace period, the "E" will be removed; if it does not, the company's stock symbol will be removed from trading on the OTCBB.[color=red]

Tried to add a chart to a post.
I was able to upload the chart to More Tools, "My Image Gallery".
When I click on "Set as profile picture." a new screen comes up with my chart and instructions on how to size and crop it. When do the size and crop routine, I get an OOPS AN ERROR OCCURRED message. Tried it several times with no luck. Thanks for any help you can provide.
the fact that Purisol trial will initiate this summer..
macnqueso: Please provide a link. The last I read was that Dr, Reddy's lab was hung up on developing a better manufacturing process for Prisol, and the CTIX trial could not begin until the Purisol used for the trial was manufactured by that process. Thanks.

Please include the DATE when posting this kind of info for NEWC. Thank you.
"Ask their bosses what the heck 16 trillion deficet dollars are being spent on?"

The 16 trillion number is the total approximate U.S. debt accumulated since G.Washington was pres.
The deficit for 2012 was approx 1.1 trillion. ref

Some big news out?!?!? ARNA Shooting up green! @8.08
Great post Pepsiman.
SA articles also appear in the on the "BLOG" side of the "NEWS" page of FINVIZ.com which provides more potential exposure for CTIX. Virtually every reader of FINVIZ is a potential investor or trader in CTIX. But without real news/meaningful data, this stock will just continue to drift. GLTA
No need to apologize. Your sentiments certainly reflect my own.
Holding tight to my ARNA shares.
Hooray for you BigJeff. What's going on here is ridiculous. I for one hope Leo has learned that sending private messages to individual investors is a waste of his time and bad for CTIX. (Could get him into trouble with the SEC.) Also hope Leo looks at this board once in a while and happens on this post and yours. GLTA
Stock: Thank you for your response. I'm a retired aerospace engineer, and twenty years ago I could talk a storm around subjects like "The effect of cryogenic environments (liquid Oxygen and liquid Hydrogen rocket fuels) on hysteresis in transducer components of fuel system instrumentation." I must admit however, that my poor old brain has a hard time coping with new jargon these days. I truly believe that the people working in biotech today are every bit as brilliant as the "rocket scientists" of the past decades. It appears to me that ISCO has a fair share of these amazing people. GLTA
Hello Karin; I got myself a starter position in ISCO yesterday after lurking around this board for the last month. Last night I ordered the sample packet of Lifeline skin care product for my wife. I know she is going to ask what its made from, and when I say "stem cells" she is going to want an explanation. My understanding from reading the IntroBox and various posts, is that the starter material is unfertilized human eggs, but that ISCO has developed a way to culture that material so that it grows and keeps multiplying. No need to go to China or India to continually harvest eggs from poverty stricken women--right?? (We watched the story on CBS news last night about poor women in India carrying transplanted American embryos for 9 months to give birth.) Thanks
buccaneer: will SFRX have to turn over 25% of what they find to the state of Florida? Seems this has been the standard deal in the past with treasure hunters for undersea finds. Thanks.
