Me too.
Everyone seems a little too quiet here...PR coming?
The video was recently removed, so we might want to remove the post it on this comment.
Thanks, and I just sent that out. Great work. It's very easy to be negative and frustrated with how things have evolved when this looked to be so promising just a few short weeks ago, so I cannot blame Commonsense78--I, in fact, posted some very frustrating comments the other day, and I regret that. People have been working very hard, and I hope that in getting this product in the right hands that we can help save our precious Gulf and surrounding coastline. I have always thought that this company and its products will eventually be a household name, and I still believe this. I also still believe that we will see at least a dollar pps by the end of the year, but only if through all of our efforts, we can make Mop Environmental synonymous with oil spill cleanup. Being a day trader is not hard work, but being an investor is. Day traders don't get rich, investors do.
Seen this already. Believe it or not, having followed and been a shareholder for quite a long time (in pink sheet terms), I am up on current releases, old releases, and everything in between. I even have a bag in my house. I believe in the product, but I wish it were marketed better. With all of the accusations linking MOPN with other cleanup companies that are scams, I would like a release of some sales figures; that's all.
Another tough day. I can only hope that something hits soon.
Maybe you should go on Amazon and buy a bag of Sorbent 301, have it rush delivery, and see for yourself. Funny, you just showed up a few days ago here and have done nothing but whine, complain, and giv misleading information. You are, though, quite funny to read, and I am enjoying that aspect of it. There is no argument that you have here. Real product. Case closed. Thanks for playing.
As am I..."frustrated but patient."
How about ads in local newspapers?! I suggested this before--low cost and could be very effective if placed in the Classified Sections near the Want-Ads. There are a lot of out of work fishermen, and enlisting them as clean-up contractors using Mop products would be great.
I spent a few hours emailing other big oil companies about Mop products yesterday with no responses as of yet. I was trying to sell it as sort of a "if this happens again, and its you and not BP, this will help." I also mailed the letters out. I hit Mobile, Exxon, and Getty, but I do not know some of the others. Also, does anyone know the name of the company that operates and builds the off shore wells? They could certainly use some Mop too. I hear talk on the news of "how could this have been prevented, and what safety precautions are in place if it does happen again." I think having Mop available on the rigs would certainly do the trick. I still think a few billboards would help--anyone have an idea of cost/locations/etc? Newspaper ads would be simple, but would Mop be okay with someone like me taking ads out in some local La and Al newspapers? Maybe.
What about some simple advertising?! taking ads out in local newspapers (not very expensive at all), fliers, billboards (also not very expensive). A couple of grand and some free samples could go far here. I can't imagine that a lot of out-of-work fisherman will be looking online, but I'm sure they're all checking the want-ads.
It's not the shareprice that is breaking my heart but the lack of rebuttal to the article last week. I am losing confidence in this company's ability to effectively market its product in an environment that should be relatively simple. And as Commonsense78 has already eluded to, a sweaty man at the side of the road doing demonstrations in a plastic tub is NOT high level negotiations.
This is making me sick to my stomach to even watch right now. I have been in this for a long time (0.007), and when the opportunity finally has presented itself, the business side of Mop has failed again. I believe in the product and the vision, but without at least some business sense, things are moving back downhill. I will hold on, and I will keep working, but at the same time, I need the execs to work just as hard for us--the shareholder, the investor, and the reason they have the money to operate right now. Poor business sense has been the downfall of this company since the beginning, and if things are too volatile (politically speaking) in the Gulf right now, then they need to begin focusing more efforts on South America. As part owner of this company, I would like to know the status of the "40 foot" container of product that was shipped. I would also like to know if any sales have been made either off their catalog or off Amazon.com. I am not bashing; like I said, I will continue to hold on with this company, but enough is enough. My frustration has reached an all time high.
Things are beginning to tank, and it is time for Wayne and Charles to give their shareholders something, heck, anything right now. They need to release something at least in rebuttal to the last article slamming MOPN. After all the work everyone on this board has done--for them to let this drop the way it is now is a complete slap in the face.
MOPN--After a dismal week of no PR, things should bounce back with added pressure on BP by the US Government. It took a dive to under a dime on Friday after an internet article declaring oil spill cleanup stocks to be overplayed and was borderline slanderous in its accusations. Look for MOPN to not only bounce back, but to gain real momentum with a host of investors working very hard on getting the word out. MOPN is a real company with a real product. It works, and given only a narrow opening into playing a role in the cleanup efforts in the Gulf, this will quickly be the talk of Louisiana.
JEDM--Jedi Mind Corp to release hands free video game next month. The big news is that this technology has applications well outside of computer gaming. A device is placed over your head, and the mouse/controller moves in response to your brainwaves. Imagine the other possibilities: surgeries, disabled persons, gamers, and the list goes on. Being able to control a computer with only the power of your mind. Currently trading at only .05.
MMTE-Mammoth Energy on the verge of lithium concessions in Chile. Currently, it is trading for .0007, but has anyone ever seen a company in the Lithium game trading for less than a dollar? PR hit last week that they were in the final stages of development, and when a deal is inked, this should skyrocket. MMTE also working on fully reporting and leadership's goal is to bring them to AMEX. Very big.
Political pressure is now on to utilize all resources, both public and private, to clean up this spill. The doorway is opening! I would like to see some sort of statement from MOPN regarding sales soon, and although not obligated to report any to its shareholders, it would be a nice gesture considering all of the work we have done for them. I wonder if anyone has bought booms or bags of MOP off Amazon.com, and I wonder if more product is planned on being shipped to South America. I know that they must be very busy right now, but I think we would all appreciate just a little more information. I feel like Wayne and Charles might be taking us for granted.
Nothing new happening her until PR confirming lithium concessions. Have a good day all.
sorry, misspoke.
This will be just another typical day for MOPN; I don't foresee any new PR until Thursday or Friday, so we will just have to keep an eye out to make sure the resistance levels hold--I cannot imagine that they will not, though. Things are going in the right direction, and although things did not go quite as high as fast as we all wanted, I believe that this will be the better path in the long run. We have all but weeded out the flippers and day traders and now have a company with its investors as active shareholders. Congratulations to everyone for all the hard work. The future will be realized when it is finally present.
I think your posts need to be deleted. How is any of this Mop's fault? I think you need educate yourself on the spill and do some DD before making such inflammatory comments. Mop is trying; we are all trying. As well, maybe I'll be the one to tell you that ALL CAPS is rude.
You/we may want to re-post this periodically throughout the day just in case people didn't read it. Great job, and my vote is in.
Well put, and a kudos to Wayne King for responsible reporting. This shows the integrity of the company and speaks to the commitment it has to its shareholders. Things will certainly play to MOP's favor, and given a little time, we should see some positive and real PR.
Things should hold fine in this range until news is released. If the pps stays low this morning, we should have some massive buying this afternoon. The stock is well worth it.
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - 05/18/10) - Mammoth Energy Group Inc. (Pinksheets:MMTE - News) announced today that it is in final discussions with Salt Gold Inter Chile Limitada, of Chile, regarding its Lithium concessions[/b].
Salt Gold Inter Chile Limitada currently operates in the North West region of the country located in the heart of the Atacama Desert.
MMTE will not have to worry about raising capitol to start a mine--they are working with a Chilean company that is already doing just that.
There were some huge buys on the dip--solidifies my opinion that things are going to get very big here soon. These buyers know something...mmmm....I think we'll have an announcement from the company in the next few days about something big.
I will say that MOP needs to have better timing on its PR. 1PM on a Friday isn't helping them any.
Do you know anything? Reading the ticker doesn't make you an expert. Maybe you should do some research into this company before you start with your "I told you so's."
You should have already done it.
Just take a look at other Lithium refiners--you won't see any at this price, that's for sure!
If this deal is finalized (and it probably just about is) and announced this week then a penny would be an understatement. Still, this stock is one to watch for the next few months.
This should continue to run all week; once .001 is broken, we have the potential to hit a penny by friday.
You do bring up some very good points, but I think that MOP's role in the cleanup will be on land and in the marshes. BP and the USCG have total control of the cleanup on the water, but remember, MOP is just as effective on land and now has Ecuador on it's resume.
What's with the all CAPS? No need to shout. Patience is a virtue.
The rumor I heard is that the deal is done, but I can't and won't say for sure. I would suggest loading up now before Mammoth releases a statement (of course, when that happens I do not know.
Here's the link to the audio interview link of Wayne King and Charles Diamond on chartpoppers the other day:

Definitely the strongest triple zero stock, and hopefully won't be for long.
I think people like myself have already bought in what they want and are confident that this will boom soon enough.
