After yesterday's dump, the only LOTTO left here is if you can manage to buy at .0001 and sell at .0002.
OMFG ANOTHER reverse split? That's 2 or 3 since I remember trading this not even a year ago...
And the good news for me is I can still pick them right back up right where I left off if I see the L2 preparing to uptick, but I'm not STUCK here with a 50% spread.
Not so. I placed my order two weeks ago. That means I was ahead of everyone that placed their order in the past two weeks, including anyone flipping the 1B dumped yesterday at .0001...
Thank God I was able to get my 13M .0002s out even after having a sell order in for 2 weeks.
Yes indeed there was a short cover today; that's why it's still over $1.
That's pretty much what I was saying...
Late trades between an issuer and a market maker...
It doesn't matter. I think huge afterhours trades on the OTC are just the MMs appointed to short and distribute shares during the day getting covered by a share-issuer. The price is just some price that occurred at some time earlier in the day. You rarely ever see afterhours prices outside of the day's trading range.
How are hundreds of millions of dollars trading on this CE scam stock? Is it just wash trading?
I observed the same. At one point when the volume was flying, my order just sat there for 5 minutes without filling even though it was below the bid. I ended up canceling and selling at the top of a small bounce instead. :D
Wow $3 million traded afterhours and counting. This is the biggest dump in an OTC stock I've seen in my life.
The day that Thresher publicly admitted that it was a scam, it took about a billion in volume to move it down from .0017 to .0004. Who were all the buyers there, a bunch of savvy investors? I don't think so...
Traders, MMs, shorts. It takes time and volume to move a stock down. It's like the accumulation/distribution cycle on the way up except flip it upside down and now it's the distribution/accumulation cycle on the way down...
Why does anyone point out old prices in the past from before massive share structure changes and stock splits, etc? How is it relevant at all? There are some stocks that 10 years ago they would have been worth $100,000,000 per share after adjusting for share structure changes. I never understand...
It did knock ETMM off for about 5 minutes.
~41M sold in 30 sec with three >9M blocks
How can you say there is strong bid support when there has been no volume to test it? Today there has been a total of 24M of volume - 0.6% of this thing's float... Is it because there are 8MMs? Did you know that each MM can be bidding as little as 5K?
Good? Bad? I don't know. I don't say it's going to the moon. I don't say it's going down the drain. I just try to keep it real. We are waiting on financials and revenue updates and those will dictate where the price moves from here. Additional dumping might move it too. Or it might stay around here for a while. I just don't like when people get all riled up and say it's going to make a sudden move based on trading (for no real reason) when it clearly isn't, we're waiting on all these things, and we're only actually trading 1% of the float.
I dont like when people think they're fortune tellers because they see "dragonly pattern" and "tri star pattern" because of some mystical chart pattern in a penny stock that's trading 1% of the float where all the points on all the candles are just paints anyway. According to the chartists, today was supposed to be huge. Where are we now?
There was no "strong volume" today at any point during the day. The TOTAL VOLUME today was 68M... This stock used trade an average of 500M per day. 100M-200M would often go by in a matter of minutes. And now you call the 10-20M volume at the end of the day "strong volume"? lol
The FLOAT is 4 BILLION!
Umm the close was a paint. No reason for all this chart pattern mumbo jumbo especially on a pink sheet stock.
-VFIN on the ask
-VERT not far behind
-SUNR completely off the L2
-Volume gone
It's worse than I thought...
That is what I meant. By "your software" I meant your broker, your forum, or wherever. The only thing the software does is, when it receives the information about the trade, it matches the price up against the information it currently has about the bid and ask. If the trade occurs at the bid it is labeled as a "sell" and if it occurs at the ask it is labeled as a "buy". The only data the software has is time, price, bid, and ask. It is a matter of simple deduction. This software still has no idea who made what trade. They do not receive that kind of information. Even when you make a trade, you have no idea of who was on the other end of the trade and whether they were an MM or an investor. When you place an order in the OTC, an MM might match it against another investors buy/sell order, match it up against their inventory, or do a combination of both, and nobody ever has any idea of exactly what happened. This information is NOT fed out.
"buy" and "sell" is labeled by your software and is in most cases meaningless information. It is impossible to know whether the buyer, the seller, both, or neither was an MM unless you were the one sitting on both ends of the trade when it happened.
NITE was the MM that accumulated that order of over 500M when this first started and now he's the one doing all the selling. Looks like this thing is over.
Haha someone tried to buy 100420 shares and the MMs split it up into two orders at different times. Fail.
It must be weekend time... this video is exactly what I needed!
lol I think you have something making you feel good about your investment besides the financial performance/potential of the company HESG. I should have known.
I bought:
A) Just for a flip - I wasn't "investing".
B) Before it was confirmed that the deals weren't going through.
At .0007, LKEN still has a market cap of $3.5M... for what? Would YOU pay $3.5M for LKEN? Who would pay $3.5M for a company a lying CEO, a product that nobody wants, a product that all of the stores are rejecting, $60K of sales in 6 months, $125K net loss in 6 months, and about 200M new shares printed every month? They take in about 20x more money selling shares than they do in gross revenue selling their product...
I'm here because I stumbled on a post in this board when I was doing research on market makers. Then I saw how there were all these people pumping this still and was honestly curious as to why.
I'm not a short or an MM. I'm not sure what I'd have to gain by "bashing" this since I can already get in at the ask at the lowest possible price if I wanted to...
I saw something about this stock being depressed due to Scottrade placing restrictions on buy orders. That really piqued my curiosity as to whether I could get in for some kind of megabounce when the restriction was lifted. But then I logged on to Scottrade and saw that the restriction is already lifted and I can place buy orders if I wanted to. So I'm wondering why if this stock is so good and the restriction is lifted, that there was ZERO volume today and very low volume lately?
600M is $60K in 5 months.. THAT'S IT?
That could amount to like, a couple daytrader accounts.
I'm not impressed. Yesterday there was a no-bid stock that saw TWICE as much volume in ONE DAY and now it's at .0001/.0002 and probably about to fall back to no-bid.
Most of all, today there was ZERO volume...
I guess it's because this still has a lot of stuck-holders and HESG wont do a reverse split to let them take their loss and exit with any dignity. They're just STUCK here...
Or is there really something great about HESG? And if so, why do we not see any buying? Scottrade will let me place a buy order by the way... I was able to get past the "review order" screen to the "place order" screen.
Thanks but my last trade of LKEN was .0016->.0017 flip in early February.
Why would you thank someone for shares that are still on the ask? You didn't need to get those shares from that person.
The bid and ask are still only a tick up from where they closed yesterday. I would still say this is within the realm of a dead cat bounce. Compare it to how the other bounced... We will see what happens next.
I left and came back to the board and now I see a restore icon next to one of my posts... Was I ruining the party? Now I'd really be worried about this stock... Is there something that's not being disclosed?
People are probably freaking out about this because they saw how another high volume stock just bounced from .0005. Yes it had the same OS but it also had sales of about 20 times this stocks' sales, didn't post a loss, just filed all of its current information and went current on PS, and has new deals with actual potential. That stock is nothing like LKEN. LKEN MIGHT do a tiny dead cat bounce before the dumping starts again...
Ah too bad. I'll never buy at .0002 in this phase no matter how good a stock sounds. I'll always wait for the volume and for most of the MMs to drop. I value liquidity and risk management over anything else. I will not buy in a position where I cannot immediately sell and break close to even.
I use Scottrade. Usually they go through NITE but sometimes I see it go through UBSS or even ETMM. One time my order went through DOMS. I guess it's whoever they have the order flow arrangement with for a particular stock and get the most calls from. It's a crapshoot. I guess that's what I get for a discount broker?
