Wrong on Intel, or certainly distorted
Intel IPO Ocotber 13,1971 at a price of $23.50 per share or 2 cents adjusted for 13 subsequent stock splits
I know, seems crazy but I've seen it before on other stocks. Sure glad MZOR wasn't projecting a shortfall....would have been more ugly!
Let's have the LPGA rules officials decide. ;-/
Please replace my DJ pick with McIlroy. Thanks.
From today's release,"....(Mazor) expects to report record first quarter revenue of approximately $11.5 million. During the first quarter the Company received purchase orders for six Mazor X systems in the U.S., including two trade-in orders from customers who had previously purchased Renaissance systems. In addition, it received a purchase order for a Renaissance brain module upgrade in the international market."

How forward looking are you?
It's clear to me that you and I evaluate risk/opportunity/growth in different parameters. That's totally fine by me.
Analysts estimates? I have seen them miss by narrow and wide margins, both upside and down. To me, they are a part of an investment story; certainly not the be all and end all.
Appreciate the dialog with you.
Martin Kaymer this week, thanks!
I hold a different view, but that's what makes a market.
Interdigital has been involved in wireless technology for about forty years. They are a mobile technology research and development company and license a very broad patent portfolio to the world's leading wireless companies. They are a prime contributor to global wireless standards and they are positioned to be a key player in 5g and IOT.
They are about a 2.9B market cap and the shares have soared in the past year. Stock price hit a high over $100 a month ago and have settled now +/- $85. They reported record fourth quarter and full year earnings. They currently expect first quarter 2017 total revenue in a range of between $91 million and $96 million, comprised entirely of recurring revenue.
I referenced IDCC to you because of your comment about 'the beauty of having a stock that holds plenty of cash.' The 10k reported 'At December 31, 2016, we had $952.8 million of cash and short-term investments.'
Editas bags $90M in gene editing R&D pact with Allergan

Have you followed IDCC at all?
Referencing cash from 10k in February:
"Cash and Short-Term Investments
At December 31, 2016, we had $952.8 million of cash and short-term investments and up to an additional $1.1 billion of payments due under signed agreements, including $228.5 million recorded in accounts receivable that is due within twelve months of the balance sheet date."
I'm thinking the same thing about Intel.
Ha...that news sure stuck a fork in Andrew Left's short position
Bless you, Mickey, and your indomitable spirit.
Woodland this week. Thanks!
And that investment from China?

Just curious, and I happen to think a person's academic credentials speak loudly about his/her ability to run a business. Not everyone is a Bill Gates. Where did you locate or learn that he "went" to Washington U in St Louis?
Haha..or a Steve Jobs as your post referenced. Pardon the laughter, I just do not equate Squires with the aforementioned individuals.
That's correct regarding any possible Squires academic degree.
What about the CFO discrepancy?
Do you have an answer?
If E. Jamie Schloss is CFO as of Feb 1, 2017 why is Craig Lindberg listed as CFO on QTMM website?
What are Stephen Squires academic graduate degrees....anyone know?
Wow, DJ..... great playing.
Augusta gonna' be hard to pick!
Go, Rory! I looked at the leader board end of the day and was pleasantly surprised. Now I'm watching the replay.
Lefty still got game, too. Can't count him out next month in Augusta.
Quite the after hours reaction.
McIlroy this week. Thanks.

The PGA Tour announced Sunday that world No. 2 Jason Day has withdrawn from next week's WGC-Mexico Championship, citing health concerns.
"I'm truly disappointed to announce that I won't be able to play," Day said in a statement. "I have a double ear infection and the flu, which precludes me from preparing for and playing in the tournament. I have heard great things about the Mexico Championship and the golf course. I want to thank the Salinas family for their support of the event. I look forward to teeing it up there next year."

Today's move possibly courtesy of Andrew Left.
"Citron Research activist short seller and newsletter author Andrew Left tweeted the firm is taking profits on its previous short position in NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) and shifting the position to a short on Mobileye NV (NYSE: MBLY)."

Adam Scott this week. Thanks!
“Our record performance in the fourth quarter and success throughout the year reinforces 2016 as a strategic turning point for the Company,” commented Ori Hadomi, Chief Executive Officer. “We have greatly enhanced our leadership position in the spine market with the implementation of the Medtronic co-marketing and co-promotional agreement and the launch of the transformational Mazor X system. While our systems order growth is impressive, our high utilization rate and recurring revenue growth illustrates the benefits Mazor is bringing to both surgeon and patient. With a strong backlog, we enter 2017 with momentum to continue our growth.”

This article summary is quite good and tells how CRISPR and NTLA are (are not) so impacted by today's ruling.

A couple more high volume days and the qtmm " longs" might be out
"Run, Forrest, run...".
Brendan Steele at Riviera.
Thanks!
Would certainly think the NTLA crew will consider an appeal. That could take a long while to work again through the courts.
I have a small position in EDIT. Will watch the shareprice action and possibly add on a retrace.
