Wonderful if that were the case. My anxiety is so high on the issue I got goose-bumps considering the possibility of your post.
We all know the PPS is MM controlled, so how long lasting will a good PR really be. We have 2 dynamics working against each other. I as well am looking for a great trip report and PR But praise the day that we become a reporting company.
That's funny, with a giggle and a Ho Ho Ho Merry CHRISTmas. And Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is a great PR.
Find out the impact of the freezing cold on production and the settling pond. When I was there the plant was shut down cuz the pond was closed. (for cleaning)
Just in Time, Patience is a virtue. Finally landed a good size one with my hook resting at .006 for the past couple weeks. I'm ready for a PR, I mean a positive PR with specifics.
Some time back I asked why use Flotation when cementation is so effective. The reply was Flotation got the precious metals. Secondary Cementation would get the remaining copper. Sounds to me like a planned strategy rather than a bad management decision. Heck, over time the gold and the silver alone could pay for the Mill.
Great Video, thanks. If history repeats itself, my new BUYS are in at .004. lol
Stockibot – Great post, thanks for the appraisal report, good stuff.
I’m not a CPA so can anyone help create a simplified CPRK Pro-forma Estimated Balance Sheet for bloggers?
How would mineral reserves be “Booked”? Per the Sept 8, 2005 appraisal, the
Value of Mineral Reserves: $19.20 Billion*
Or is it $1.79 Billion
Which is the appraisers capitalized value of estimated annual income @ 70 yrs
.
http://www.scribd.com/doc/8058165/Western-Utah-Copper-property-appraisal-Milford-Utah
*Thanks 5pence, great update and mineral values have kicked up a bunch with current prices which is great for income but I don’t think Book Values would float with the market
Market value of Mining Properties: $1.80 Billion
(Does CPRK/WUCC actually own the Properties?)
Buildings:?
Mill:?
Equipment:? (Probably leased)
Capital?
Liabilities? A calculation at this point
Some of you have done some work on the Income side. Haven’t seen an update for a while. Did it include interest, CandyB royalty payments and non-cash depreciation and amortization?
We all know the Minerals are there and I am confident MD can get them to market. I also would really like an educated guesstimate at what lenders might be looking at besides Management, 10 foot snow drifts, frozen settling pond, overloaded smelters etc.
Any educated guesses on the "book value" of all lease holds and over how many years it may amortized?
And while were at it can anyone take a guesstimate on the value of office buildings, Plant and equipment? Equipment may be leased but it still has a capitalized value.
JIT, I believe you too, really. My #45164 was a light hearted poke at getting the word out sooner. If I had heard some juicy stuff from CM, I would go directly to the board and give all a heads up. Well, maybe not. On second thought might get my bids in first, then go to the board. lol
I, as you, think CM is an OK guy doing the best he can in our behalf. I wouldn’t want to say anything about Charles to diminish his dialog with our board or shareholders. My admiration extends to all posters helping fit the puzzle pieces during this critical time in the life of our little company. I am looking forward to what next week may bring.
You bought a what? when CPRK shares are at these prices.
To Buddy09, Just In Time, et al
I am quite relaxed and not chilled. I’m a loyal LONG at 5MM pushing for 6MM, @ .0085 avg PPS. I am a bottom feeder having slowly purchased most of my shares at or near a daily low. Wish I could catch up to Colorado, The Good Doctor and others.
My reply to good guy JITime was not a “LOL” or a “lol” but more a friendly chuckle. You see I’m kicking myself that I had no funds available at .005 last week. Since then I have reloaded and been fishing at .006 with no hits. Now, had I read a post saying CM “did say he picked up some cheapies last week for him self.” or “He did mention that there were 18-20 truck loads going out today and that LTF was in town.” I may have increased my bid today and landed some shares.
This topic has generated some informative commentary and caused me to think it through a little more. In my corporate days I was an “insider” and could not tell even my family that which they might act upon for gain. As bad as I am stretching for concrete CPRK info right now, I liked JIT’s message but feel a little unsettled around the edges.
Good weekend to all. The PR next week sounds like it ought to be a real doozie. And Intel2, glad to hear you live near my neck of the woods, Corona. Would like to link up for the 15th but will be on a cruise and you will be in 2 feet of Beaver snow counting CuCon trucks sliding by.
So, let me understand,
You picked up some cool CM info in the AM
You joined the 1MM club during today's trading
You posted the cool info after closing.
Am I in the ball Park?
And are you now coming to our first annual Bar-B-Q?
China could offer financing. Then after a period of time call the loan for violation of an obscure footnote buried on page 97. They would then "unfortunately" have take over the company and . . .
Also, I don't recall any board discussion on Royalty payments. Seems like that could impact earnings and cash flow big time.
Anyone aware?
I'm good for making a dutch oven fruit cobbler. And,
what the heck, combine the BBQ with mid-fiscal year MD/CM company report to make it a real tax-deductible event. (We'll need some deductions for all the $$$ we'll be making.) YUM YUM
Oh, I almost forgot the door prizes, a one day sale on restricted shares.
I'm ready, lets go!!
I deeply envy all you buyers today.
How I feel is best expressed by imagining one sitting by the river's edge watching a million salmon swim by and here I am with no pole, line, hook, bait or net. What an historic day.
New funds are on the way but I feel the biggest ones may be gone.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Heck, like you I'm gonna ride this one out too.
Don't you think that those of us unfettered LONGS should have a special table at the annual CPRK shareholders Bar-B-Q in Milfred come Springtime?
OK I was done buying but, at these prices, I can't help myself. Just initiated another transfer. My average PPS is now .0087
To all on the sidelines, jump in while you can for a deal. Thank the MM's for opportunity. Looking for a great CPRK 1st fiscal Qtr.
My .0065 buy order finally executed 16 min before closing. You are right, there were multiple opportunities for my order to execute during the day.
It's not the first time I have had my low bid execute just before closing. That's why I didn't panic and raise my bid, to .0066 or .0067.
My feel is that the MM's are just cleaning up lose ends at the end of the day, ie, all the price bouncing just before closing.
I submitted a .0065 107K buy order last Saturday. Now with 30 min left today still no execution. Are orders taken first in first out? Several times today there have been some big chunks traded at .0065.
So, does that mean that all those other huge buy orders were submitted before mine?
DrD - Amazing, What a goal, I am envious. Worthy to be an officer in the "One Percent Float Club". You are an example of confidence & knowing who to listen too. Congratulations!
All I'm good for is a position in the "1/4 of One Percent Float Club".
PS - Can you swing a little LTF?
You best hurry. The last couple days looks like the bottom of the cup. See, you got me talking charts and I know nothing about it.
Actually, I also have more funds waiting for clearing.
OK, I’m good with today and nice volume too. Picked up a few more at .0066. I’m ready for that underwater balloon to be let go.
Why not just rev-up and go with mostly Cementation? Sounds like Flotation is expensive, and not that efficient.
If the float are shares openly traded, then are the loan collateralized shares and restricted shares (ie preferred shares now coming off restriction) already included in the float?
Hope that's an honest not so fuzzy question.
Yea true but if the PPS had soared, all this fun and anticipation would be over. You would be off somewhere maybe fishing, no worries, and missing all your blog buddies.
Executed at 3:27 PM 100,000 @ .0066. I left for a bit, returned and saw it had executed.
This was a case where the 2 day deposit clearing time was helpful. Don't know if that will happen again this week.
Glad I'm LONG or I would be going nuts!!
OK, I'm Good. I had a .0066 in all day and finally executed at the end of the trading day. Can't believe it.
Unfortunately I am sitting on an unavailable ACH Broker deposit and am out or action for more BUYS for another day or so. GAG!
CM quote
"WE ARE NOT PAYING O'HURLEY.....He was hired over a year ago and given some restricted shares"
Goodness, You could "pay" me with restricted shares!
CPRK must be paying Hurley.
Read my post 41337.
Yesterday I sent an email to CM and it appears he responded today with a shareholder's email and PR
I'm sure this is not the video you are looking for but a nice PR piece anyway.

Origin of Todays PR MustReadThis,
I sent this email to Charles yesterday, OH MAN, (THANKS post 40986) Read the entire email below.
================
Charles, Thanks for all your Email updates. I am Long on CPRK and one of the good guys.
On an IHub post the following link
http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/marketwire/0556609.htm
has a great Nov 9th CNN Money article "The O'Hurley Effect: Catapulting Copper Production"
We need the exposure, good move, keep it up.
However the end of the article the following appears
Company Contact:

PR/Media Contact:

Nadine Jolson

QUESTION
Is this a new PR campaign? Jolson Creative is a Hollywood firm. Nadine's web bio states
"Jolson Creative is a boutique PR firm specializing in entertainment, lifestyle and beauty clients. We are known for our great success with indie films and image branding for clients."
Is O'Hurley Connected to Jolson Creative? And, didn't you at one time make it clear that the company has not paid for the O'Hurley media blitz? (Or did Jolson screw-up by adding her contact info to the release.)
Charles, I am not a basher, I've toured the mine, have my ore samples proudly on my shelf etc. I am just seeking to connect the dots.
Thanks, XXXX
Look at the "Company Contact" Info at the bottom of your linked article. Is that an officially first? I mean it's CM and a paid? media Contact on the same page.

OOPS Is she paid by CPRK, or Hurley, or PN or. . . Oh what the heck, go Nadine, love the exposure.
Ouch! Malc, I'm glad you're on our team.
Glen, You've been bit by the Copper Bug. I love it.
Sorry, lol I commonly use 1 M for Thousand and 2 M's for Million. Should have used a "K" I guess. No deception intended.
And BINGO, as I speak, Just got a little 134M buy at .0091. It's kind of like going fishing and dropping your line in the water waiting for the bite.
In my case, I only have a small chunk of free cash in the brokerage account for a quick little grab. It may take 3 to 4 days to get "available funds" into my Zeeco account for a healthy buy.
Please Help, Lost a post
Where is the post I saw yesterday of the video with Hurley at the mine. A link would work also.
It was "on topic" Great stuff
