Hi Pilot,
Thanks for the invite....saw this board this morning and was reading through before work...just got home and found your message. Looks like some great peeps here, trustworthy and knowledgeable and some whose opinions I already value. You got the makings of a very valuable forum here with some great talent...not to mention YOU heading it up. I will mark it as a favorite and if I can add anything helpful and profitable I will
Right now I am unwinding after a busy night w/a tall cold one getting ready to hit the bed (yawn)
Looking forward to next week when I expect good things pps-wise with EXPH on tap. News and financials expected in the next week to two weeks, chart indicators turning up and showing promise, CEO promises no A/S or O/S increases for two years, already contracted with some big name companies like Lowes, Home Depot, Stanley Tools, Kronotex USA, Newell Rubbermaid, Bosch Tool Corp.- aren't they in the Fortune 500 list? New company contract about to be announced- a biggie is the rumour. Just acquired a new patent pending product brand along with its own customer base already in place, let's see am I leaving anything out? Probably, I have only held a position here a few weeks and haven't had time to thoroughly research it yet. I like what I have seen and it looks to me that next week many will profit if they enter and exit correctly.
Have a great weekend and an even greater week. I will be peeking in on this board often, I've already seen a few picks here I want to check into further.
Mary
Sky, Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm not sure what the requirements are for membership into the alliance but if it is sharing knowledge of a chart/company showing signs of an impending run-up which I believe folks could profit from in the coming week then I will share.
EXPH is due for some news which is expected to be out this coming week regarding Q2 and possibly Q3 financials as well as the possible announcement of a new (large) account.
JDBrown (CEO) has stated no A/S or O/S increase for two years, and rumour has it his grandmother owns 3M shares in the co. but I have not confirmed that rumour, not having spoken to Mr. Brown, I just got that from another poster, so you are free to ignore the grandmother thing.
On September 15th EXPH announced acquisition of a new patent-pending product division that JDBrown expects will add to their future dollar projections although I'm sure they haven't had it long enough to really know how much. The acquisition did come with a customer base but I don't have details at hand and I expect them to be included in furure prs.
I like fundamental as well as chart analysis so I also pay attention to indicators (Thank You, Glassy!!!!) and it appears to me that the pps has pulled back and consolidated from the last run and is gearing up based on anticipated news for another run up. Please if you read charts do so and see if you agree. I have had some success reading indicators and what I see on the EXPH chart looks promising for this coming week.
I have made mistakes on past stocks by staying in too long so I plan on taking a reasonable profit this coming week or the next with about half my position and letting the rest stay in for any additional increases~ Live and Learn, right Chrissy?
I hope this post is not considered pumping, I have tried to keep it to just what I know about Expo Holdings as well as to just the reasons I am in this stock and my expectations for the coming week(s). If anyone buys just please do your own research and don't buy based only on my opinion.
Thank you for providing this forum, Chrissy, and thanks also to all you ladies and gentlemen who are presenting others with great plays as well.
Mary
Good Morning,
Ran across Chrissy's new board this morning. Started at the beginning and read thru all the posts, it looks like alot of the traders I most respect are here~ WOW! I marked it, Chrissy, and will be back OFTEN. I hope I can even be of help to someone....Looks great! Mary
My pick is EXPH
Expo Holdings Inc. Launches New Division and Brand
09/15/2009
Expo Holdings Inc. has launched their new division and brand--etc. (Easy Transitional Cabinetry). Pronounced 'etcetera,' this new division is transforming the face of the cabinetry industry.. literally. Etc. is a patent-pending cabinetry system that allows anyone to easily slide out the front components of their cabinetry, including face frame, doors and drawers, and replace with new ones. The use of etc. will also change the commercial industry. Property managers can easily replace one or all of the components in a unit--minimizing repair and replacement costs. In a large facility such as a hotel, cabinetry components can be updated easily and cost-effectively with minimal downtime.
What I was referring to were recent developments in some Pink Sheets companies, as well as some larger companies that have shown great financials and then BOOM they are revealed as a bunch of lies and folks are losing their $$ left and right.
Any company that puts out financials that never show a down period or a sluggish quarter need to have their books examined. May I offer some examples?????
Never risk more than you can afford to lose is a good rule to trade by in the pennies. IMO
Got your pm and have to respectfully disagree with your opinion. Taki sticks w/a stock because he familiarizes himself with how it trades and uses that knowledge to benefit himself first, and others who follow his commentaries and logic have also made $$$$. Note how many "people marks" the man has and that will give you an idea of how many people have benefitted from his wisdom and have given him their thanks and respect. EXPH is one of many stocks he trades, and he occasionally dives into others as well if he sees it has merit. If you ask him a question he will tell you the truth or he will not answer. He doesn't lie or try to manipulate.
Hey no sweat, someone will benefit from that sale, probably Taki has them already, LOL
Q2 financials are 90 days overdue, at least IMO. It's time we saw Q3. We all know that, what we don't know is WHY and that is why I am very curious to see how Expo did in 2nd quarter. If it was disappointing, then better to release them together so Q3 improves on and subsequently overshadows the disappointing Q2 numbers. Keep in mind I do not know either valuation, that is just what I anticipate based on past comments from JD as to what fiscal quarters EXPH typically does the best in.
Could be next week, could be week of the 19th. My money's on next week. Or Friday.
An idiot can compare Dell's layoff status against Expo Holding's growth status and make the right choice IMO. Maybe some of these companies have gotten so big they can't see the foundation crumbling till the business is on its knees. Or the driving force behind the company (i.e.the CEO) is so far removed from the employees that there is no enthusiasm or incentive to perform well. I have always preferred small businesses- I believe they are better run companies for that reason. The owner needs to keep things running right and keep them going in the right direction, as with EXPH.
Next run will take the pps closer to where it should be, no worries here.
Morning Pilot,
Thanks for the pm, I will def check this out!
No, he needs to fire up the accounting office.
Still good news IMO as that should pull pps up to somewhere around .0335 or so~ an increase for me of about 323%! I'LL TAKE IT!!!!!
Since EXPH is not current with their Quarterly reports they are considered "non-reporting" and thus the warning posted by Pink Sheets that people trading this "non-reporting" stock could be doing so based on inside information, which I believe is still considered illegal. That's what I believe the warning is about, anyhoo....JDB should update, IMO
Whether or not financials meet your expectations remains to be seen. When they are put out you might very well decide this co. is not meeting your definition of "good" growth and you may decide to hold and take a "wait and see" attitude or sell and move on. By the way~ What ARE the revenues to date???? I don't believe the rest of us have that info yet.....
I believe DDDisplays hosted a visit from their local Congresswoman, Virginia Foxx, who was led to believe this was in fact a real business when she visited in July 2008. Read the article and decide for yourself.

Tours D&D Displays, which recently landed $22 million project for national retailer
WASHINGTON – On Monday, July 28, Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (NC-05) visited North Wilkesboro manufacturer D&D Displays to tour their facility and speak with employees about policies that promote economic growth and well-paying jobs in North Carolina. Foxx was joined on her visit by D&D Displays CEO James D. Brown as well as representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and local government.
Foxx learns about manufacturing processes at the Wilkes County company.
“Economic growth is a pillar of American freedom,” Foxx said. “I’m excited to see the progress that D&D Displays has made in Wilkes County to create good jobs and boost the local economy.
D&D Displays announced a new project this week that could provide up to $22 million in new revenue for the North Wilkesboro-based company. Company CEO James D. Brown said that the company hopes to more than double its Wilkes employment rolls thanks to the new project.
“Success stories like D&D Displays will help strengthen our economy,” Foxx said. “The simple fact is that strong businesses create good jobs and Congress must do everything it can to create an economic environment in which businesses can create jobs and thrive.”
"D&D Displays is an American company producing American products, right here in North Carolina,” Brown said. “We would like to thank Congresswoman Foxx for her help in keeping manufacturing jobs here in North Carolina. With our newest Milestone reached, we should double if not triple our employment base in 2009. Congresswoman Foxx's support for the local Chamber of Commerce and her active role in our community has helped companies like ours grow and prosper in a tough economy."
D&D Displays specializes in custom cabinetry and high end store fixtures for retail vendors such as Newell-Rubbermaid, Inc., Bosch Tool Corporation, Kronotex, USA, and S&K Men's Wear. D&D Displays has been in operation since 2000 and became a subsidiary of Expo Holdings of North Wilkesboro in 2006.

Absolutely. There are several events coming up we know, lots to look forward to, all great for pps IMO. A CEO that's reliable and honest and who takes care of all the facets of this company and its stock like a straightup guy. If his family trusts him enough to be as involved as they are, then so do I.
Time frames are the hardest to pin down. My opinion is week of Oct 12th will be fireworks week but it could be sooner, could be later...PRs are pretty frequent here, almost weekly. The biggie is the 3rd Q financials, and the chart shows some anticipation beginning to build.
Been studying the chart a bit and this is my take on what the indicators say right now.
Wms indicator still showing oversold at -70 levels so good upside potential in the next couple weeks.
MACD still under the EMA with a bit of sideways action possibly ready to hook up in the next week, possibly the week after. That means a jump in pps coming, boosted no doubt by JD and his well-timed PRs. Maybe next one will be financials, that would be most excellent. Looks like we are sitting at the same setup we were at on Sept 1st and that pattern could ( I hope, I hope) be repeated.
Would be nice to see a pps above .0132 and if that happens the week of October 5th or 12th we could be off to the races- at least up to about .0225 IMO.
News should be good, this CEO has not been full of nasty surprises like some I've known
Who would s***w over their grandmother? Not many. This guy (and co) looks more and more investible, IMO
Yes, I like that! LOL. Been seein' waaaaayyyyy too much red the past year, it's nice to be here.
Seeing as I am averaged in at .0104 I guess I am, LOL. Today my EXPH account has been vaccilating betw red/green all day.
I picked up some .01 but none lower
You know how excitable he can be. But that is his nature, and I have never seen him post nonsense, he always has a reason, a stand and a solid basis for his posts. IMO, LOL
I agree.
You work hard to DD the truth. Sometimes the truth is not there, it is not you misunderstanding.
Taki, you are a great trader and blessed with plenty experience and knowledge to make back your losses. You stated once before that successful trading in this venue is not as easy as it looks. I listen to you because I know you speak the truth always and you have helped others profit, not lose $$$$$. It is CEOs like Jared that make it go the other way. The reason I admire you as a trader is I know you will use this experience to move forward and prosper even better. I look forward to your posts, have learned alot from them. Thank you!
I have tended to dismiss your negativity, Biggerstaff, as just that. I see now I owe you, Janice and a few others my apologies and in the future a higher level of respect for your posts and opinions, you WILL make me look closer at warning signs which is your purpose I think. Lesson learned. I took my 15% off the table yesterday because I no longer have reason to believe in the future pps rising back to a level that will let me see green. I believe I and many others have been defrauded, but I also believe I received a valuable education regarding how to conduct my trading in this venue. I never used money I needed to live on (good that I at least took THAT advice) but I, like many others, allowed Jared to string me along with hints of better things to come~ while my account was telling me different. I have made money on other stocks, so I know I can make more, and I have learned alot here so I consider this loss part of my education. Jared and others involved in this scheme will get educated as well. Knowing when to let go is not always easy, so get smarter, folks. That is my hope for all the good people involved here. Now whenever I hear the term "cut your losses" I will think of EESO.
Here is the conversation I was following talking about the green bars meaning dilution (link below):
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=41618970
Oh I see what you're saying. I looked to see if I could find a good link for you that would explain it better than I could. Go here (below link) and read, maybe it will make sense to you.
http://daytrading.about.com/od/daytradingbasics/a/BidAskVolume.htm
On the volume bars the blue color means someone bought shares (lots of someones, lol) the red color means someone sold shares (again, lots of someones) the green color means the company diluted shares into the market (hardly any of that as far as I can see on this chart). Who bought and sold could be anyone, traders, MMs etc.
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=webchart&cb=1253816618&symbol=NO%5EEESO&period=0&size=19&volume=1
I am still witcha, pal, and as a matter of fact have been adding to average down Just explaining signs of dilution that are NOT THERE to someone who needed to know.
The way I understand it the green is dilution. Very little of that as you can see no matter how much you see posters hollering dilution and blaming Jared for the pps fluctuations. Just buyers and sellers today as far as I can tell.
The way I understand it is this:
Go to the daily Ihub chart and look at the volume bars. Blue is buys, red is sells, green is dilution. You will see very little green if you can see it at all. I do not believe that is what's happening here. Just buying and selling action. Do not listen to the dilution chants, they are put out there to scare you, IMO
http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=webchart&cb=1253816618&symbol=NO%5EEESO&period=0&size=19&volume=1
I was under the impression that IHUB daily chart shows you dilution with green on the volume chart. I see a tiny amount today, but it doesn't look like enough to create all this angst....there is quite a bit of selling however. Could be sellers blaming Jared? How uncool is that.
Yeah, I agree. We're just doing the consolidation dance right now. Probably won't last long, then we'll be off again!
Whenever my bosses don't want to talk to someone, they are "in a meeting". He's just not that into you, pal.
