"Scrolls"????
Too sick-making.
That looks an awful lot like a cat with a dog's head on it.
And just as bad: they think that because they are, by their own lights, "religious", they deserve not only to be "right", but to be rich.
lol, that's one of my favorites...
Well, some of them are just worried that they won't get their "settlement" if a lawsuit is filed.
They're way past reason by now.
Poor guy...
A mere bagatelle.... I believe that technically it's "losses" rather than "debt".
The SEC investigation continues. I don't think they'd be doing that if further action isn't planned.
Fascinating story.
LOLOLOLOLISSIMO!!
Does anybody else see anything wrong with that picture?
lol, I think everyone does.
We're waiting for the SEC and/or the DOJ to act.
My God. Words fail me.
And you don't think BUDDIIIIIEEEEEEEE is more than slightly off the wall? She doesn't even own any CMKX, far as I know.
But then neither do most of us here.
Read the financials they recently posted at Pinksheets. They aren't making any money.
Yep. Slurp sent all sorts of compromising emails to "Liz". I may even have an archive of them somewhere.
"Liz" hasn't posted in a long time. She (or he) finally saw the light.
lol, maybe that's why Ken Lay tried to blame them for Enron's collapse.
lol, how far "into June"? Beginning of the month? End of the month? Then July?
And forget about all the mythical 6 and 10 baggers you hear about.
They're rare, but by no means mythical. In recent years it was QBID that set the stage: it was WAY bigger than a 10 bagger. CMKX and a number of other stinky Pinkies were touted as "the next QBID". None ever was, but CMKX was, for a brief moment, a ten bagger.
Just keep bangin' out 20 percent on your money time after time.
That's what sensible players do. But a great many penny addicts are going for the moon shot. And that makes them the perfect target for promoters and pumpers. Needless to say, it's usually the latter who make the most money.
Professional shortsellers aren't interested in taking small positions. In terms of potential profit, that's not worth it to them, because most penny stocks don't do much in the way of dollar volume. Generally speaking, you can't just throw a half million bucks or more at a penny stock, no matter how toppy it is, or how exaggerated or outright false its claims. You'll start depressing the price as soon as you start selling, and when the time comes to cover, you'll find it very difficult.
Ohhhhhh......
janice did you listen to the mp3 ?
lol, no. That stuff gives me a headache. And it depresses me to think some people actually believe it.
WHAT???
You are right, they short them when the PPS is much higher percentage wise and sometimes cover at a much lower price. Yes you may say that's a legal way of shorting and I will answer that it's only legal if they cover the short position in 3 business days.
You can keep a short position open as long as you like, as long as you pay your margin and maintenance. You're confusing covering with settlement.
The HUGE money is made by going short. IT ALWAYS WAS.
Wrong, Gump. The most you can make on the short side is 100%. On the long side your possibilities are unlimited, if you do a good enough pump.
I think a percent limit should be applied to the shares that can be made available in the stock borrow program.
What companies are making a fuss about naked shorting, or about shorting in general? That's right, 90% of them are sleazy penny stocks. But wait....they're not eligible for the Stock Borrow Program unless they're trading over a dollar.
Then answer it simply investo..WHY cant they cover the trade in five days??
Plenty of reasons have been adduced by those who actually know how this stuff works. Here's one: if a stock is suspended by the SEC, no trades, long or short, can be settled for two weeks. Scarcely the fault of the brokerages.
I haven't bothered to read the actual legislation, but if they're trying to prevent MMs from going short (or long) to provide liquidity, then naturally everyone's pissed off, and for good reason. If that's the case, then either the bill will be quietly altered, or I suspect the world of finance really will take Utah off its Christmas card list.
Ironsides is all hat and no cattle.
He spouts off big words that have no real meaning and the suckas buy it.
Actually he doesn't. Maheu has only had two or three CMKX-related statements attributed to him, and they were probably written by whoever cooked up the press releases in which they were contained. That person was probably Maheu's long-time business partner, Stoecklein.
Maheu's never commented directly on any CMKX news, and he's never interacted with shareholders in any ways.
He did appear to testify at the hearing, where he demonstrated almost complete ignorance of CMKX, past and present.
ROTFLMAO..Just like Maheu is no longer a dirrector..hmmm??
We've been over that before, Jimmy. Mahue was a director of CMKX. He resigned. Recently he became a director once again. The reason for that is obvious: since the Task Force will be arranging for the distribution of the Entourage stock, a Task Force member must be an officer or director of CMKX.
You need to take a course in Occam's Razor.
That ALJ did a horrible job.....
The OG would have never gotten recognized in any other court. There was no legal reason for them to be involved. If she had shut them down from the beginning, this stupid scam would be over.
From a legal point of view, I think you're right. Frizzy just cluttered up the hearing; nothing he had to say was relevant to the matters at hand.
I believe Murray's idea was not only to ensure that justice be done, but also to show that justice was done. Reasonable enough, but at that point she didn't have a grip on the sheer irrationality of many CMKX longs. Even so, quite a few of the CMKXers who actually attended the hearing came away from it with their faith in Urbie severely shaken. One good example is Pedro, who went on to order all the extremely interesting discovery material, and who is now reviled by many as a "basher".
Murray probably believed she'd given CMKX representatives every chance to make their case, and that she'd also given CMKX longs every opportunity to see and understand what CMKX had done wrong. She just hadn't counted on their fanaticism, and their ability to embroider and misinterpret just about any piece of evidence presented to them.
The least I could do. Wouldn't want you to think you'd joined the Foreign Legion or something.
Whoop de doo.
Mano says huge news this week & that we will be dancin in the streets by friday.
Didn't he say that last week? And the week before? Pretty much every week for months?
I'd say his credibility--not that he ever had any--is pretty well shot by now.
lol, I did post there briefly a few months ago... Just been too busy to get back to it.
LOLOL!!
There is a nice Urban home in Las Vegas
That's certainly provable. It's also easily proved that he spent $4 million of YOUR money on racing.
Jimmy, what I posted to you was FACT. I've never understood how so many CMKXers are able to ignore fact completely.
The hearing wasn't about naked shorting, Jimmy. It was about CMKX's failure to file with the SEC for years.
On the contrary, Jimmy, she did an excellent job. Bent over backwards to be fair to CMKX and its shareholders. Even let Frizzy participate, which she didn't have to do.
Why is it you're such a consistently poor judge of comptetence?
The letter contained a great many errors of fact, but of course that never stops Abad.
It's extremely stupid to send rude letters to judges. What part of that don't you understand?
ABAD claims to be a CPA. She also claims to have been a paralegal.
Her posts are utterly idiotic, and don't indicate expertise in any field. lol, remember that silly letter she wrote to the judge?
I've seen NMCX touted all over the boards for quite awhile now. And of course gold's hot. Some people think any play in a hot sector will work out, though that isn't always the case.
Janice, do you know if Pearl and Sandy Winick have any previous history?
They most definitely do. PAIM was originally a Winick spinoff. From Adatom.
You need to stop posting false and inaccurate statements about subjects in which you know nothing about, that being me.
Why? You're forever making false and inaccurate statements about us.
