Steven Udvar-Hazy, chairman and chief executive of International Lease Finance Corp., the aircraft leasing company owned by American International Group, is in early discussions to purchase a portion of ILFC's aircraft portfolio and start a new leasing company, according to people familiar with the matter.
Any potential deal is at the "preliminary stage," these people ...

2 banks today. 2nd in Minn.
Go to etrade.com and you can see it all.
I would highly recommend Etrade with their etrade pro
Think when V decides to go it will... building pressure.
Are you still liking GS?
Ever since the DNDN run I can't resist the occasional lotto play. I bought DNDN 7.50 calls a few days before it opened at 20+. Bio stocks are nuts but sometimes a rumor pays off. Most times its a complete loss.
Also hearing a lot of interest in HGSI. Look at Sept 25 calls
Might want to watch Visa its getting ready to breakout
I want one like that also, but my wife won't let me
Bernanke to Be Nominated for Second Fed Term by Obama (Update1)
By Julianna Goldman, Peter Cook and Michael McKee
Aug. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke, who led the biggest expansion of the central bank’s power in its 95-year history to avert a second Great Depression, will be nominated to a second term by President Barack Obama, according to an administration official.

You had a plan and I still think it will play out well.
I'm sitting on 30 of the 170 calls myself
President Obama to Announce Fed Chairman Bernanke's Reappointment Tuesday: Reported by CNBC
Tomorrow will be interesting. CNBC just reporting that
Obama will re-appoint Bernanke tomorrow
I might mention that SIRI cost me over 40k prior to
Feb. I bought 100k the dat after they dropped to .05
believing they had to many assets to go BK without
someone buying them.
50k now sold 25k today at .70 avg@.18
Best of luck... but don't fight the trend.
Lots of wolves... especially at OE
Got high hopes for tomorrow also, bought more EOD @ 2.40
http://money.cnn.com/data/afterhours/
Calls. Bought 20 @ 1.70 yesterday afternoon sold @ 2.70
today
I have Sept 70 calls so I'll keep watching - for a little longer.
Made a killing on GS Aug 165's today
You still holding calls on V? I'm loosing confidence
Going to be a scramble in the AM to cover short possitions.
Good call BB on taking the profit on puts today!
Hi ChiChi2 any thoughts on the futures moving up tonight?
Maybe Europe will see things differently?
I saw the trend change and went with the Aug 16 puts at .3
Bought FAZ 26 calls for a little extra also
Hi BB been watching BAC all morning.
You still hava a conviction on puts or thing maybe it can run a bit more now?
Think it is always 3rd Friday of each month
Already did! Thants what caught my attention when you said
it was getting ready to run. Thanks
Hope it does but has to break 69.59 first. If it breaks 70 watch 70.36 and 70.82 to really run
Any better feel for RIMM now that it broke 74.85?
Keep an eye on DRYS traded 15k Aug $6 calls today
Still pulling for CIT even if the Gov't didn't
directly save them - yet. Factoring companies are
cash cows, especially in the down economy. GLTA
I still believe they will not BK. The Gov't is posturing.
CIT factoring is a goldmine when times are normal
Guess we will see what tomorrow brings. Glad I sold GS at market close.
I'm not defending them (CIT) BAST*RDS screwed me on a business deal a few years back to the tune of 50k. However
IF the Fed doesn't save their ASS*S you can bet there is a deal in the works. I bet 10K on it
The Federal Reserve should have focused on getting the securitization market working again, as it promised last autumn, to avoid situations like that in which lender CIT Group is now, Steve Forbes, CEO of Forbes, told CNBC Tuesday.
CIT Group [CIT 1.64 0.03 (+1.86%) ] has 1 million clients which include big names from the franchisee of Dunkin' Donuts to retailer Dillard's. Analysts fear that its collapse could deal a devastating blow to the economy by cutting off financing even more.
Maybe they will merge with AIG. They have not had a "bank" directly affect payrolls yet like CIT will. Obama doesn't
want the bad press with already falling polls.
I will load up more in the AM.
Aug $2 calls already have 200
Might take a few days but CIT will survive. Gov't is playing
with OUR MONEY NOT THEIRS. The administration doesn't want the bad press from the media sharks to not work something out.
Just a lot of "media hype" IMO. They will reach an agreement of some sort.
Loaded up on Aug $2 calls so lets hope the gov't isn't going to screw us. It's our money they are playing with anyway!
CIT halted
