Ya I'm only concerned with short term so that future acqusitions are cheaper. I'll be holding this long enough to send my grandkids to college imo.
I'm pretty sure its tens of millions at this point..haven't seen any real covering in months, but I'm not sure either. They will let it go hard in a timely fashion imo.

I can hear the crickets...
Last years massive run to $1+ was in July, does history repeat itself? :)
Alot of the downward slope is the selling of restricted shares to investors in order to combat their burn rate. With the recent acquisitions, they no longer need to raise as much captital from the shareholders and this baby should start an uptrend imo. Let me know if you ever get any 8s and 7s lol.
Nice little mention of CBIS in this CNN Money article.

Small businesses have become the latest engines for medical marijuana advocacy in the U.S., according to Dick Cowan, the former director of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML).
"The thing that's really driving legalization is entrepreneurialism," he said. As the CFO of Cannabis Science, a pharmaceutical startup based in Colorado Springs, he has a vested interest in seeing the industry succeed.
"I think it's great that Adam is back here," Cowan added. "He's a very shrewd, successful businessman."
20100623|CBIS|206392|452640|O 45.6%. Lol. They are trying to hold this thing back as hard as possbile, too bad they will lose in the end.
64,000 buy after hours at .1089. Things are really heating up...not to mention the 4:1 buy to sell ratio today with significant volume.
Short data for today is going to be very interesting...I would guess 20% or below.
I agree. .30-.40 range would be what the fundamentals say imo. Can't really believe we fell this far in the first place, but oh well I'll take the cheap shares.
We should have already moved quite a bit after 2 dispensary acquisitions. Still we sit in the .10's. These prices are a steal. One more great step, as you say, and we go through the rough imo.
It's like CBIS had to PR three times for people to fully grasp how awesome the recent acquisition is. Definitely found bottom, looks like we are finally on the up and up!

Governor Schweitzer's Visit to Cannabis Science Acquisition, Montana Pain Management, Draws Extensive Media Coverage; Governor "Impressed by the Sophistication" of Operation Model for New State Regulations
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Jun 23, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Cannabis Science, Inc. (OTCBB:CBIS), a pioneering U.S. biotech company developing pharmaceutical cannabis products, is pleased to note that there has been extensive reporting on Governor Brian Schweitzer first visit to a medical marijuana clinic run by Montana Pain Management in Missoula last Friday. His visit came on the same day that Cannabis Science announced that it was acquiring MPM, http://www.montanapm.com/tour, which added another dimension to the story.
(His visit was reported in our last press release: http://cannabisscience.com/news-a-media/press-releases/187-montama-governor-visits-new-cbis-acquisition.html )
Joe Nickell, writing in The Missoulian, reported that Schweitzer "made clear both his continued support for a legally sanctioned medical marijuana industry and his belief that new legislation governing the industry is imminent and necessary."
Schweitzer is quoted as saying, "I think it's unrealistic to say to legitimate medical patients that have found benefit from medical marijuana that you can no longer access this. I think we need to tighten up the laws. The business has gotten out ahead of the regulatory environment, and we need to build some boundaries."
Accompanied by local television crews, the Governor spent 45 minutes meeting with Rick Rosio, president and CEO of Missoula's Montana Pain Management, and said that he was impressed by the sophistication of Rosio's operation.

An Associated Press story was also picked up by PharmaPro.com, which specializes in pharmaceutical industry news. (http://www.pharmpro.com/News/FeedsAP/2010/06/gov-visits-medical-marijuana-clinic-in-missoula/ )
PharmaPro noted, "Schweitzer and Rosio agreed that the number of independent, commercial growers should be limited, and that taxing medical marijuana is probably necessary to pay for increased regulation."
Dr. Robert Melamede, PhD., Cannabis Science President and CEO, stated,"We look forward to working with Governor Schweitzer and Rick Rosio to develop regulations that will protect the patients' access to medicine while maintaining scientific standards and professional management. We think that MPM will be the model for the new state regulations, and will be able to help far more patients get medical cannabis.
"As the song says, 'Times, they are a changing.' People in a free country have a fundamental right to choose an herbal medicine that helps relieve their pain. Governmental insistence on the use of lethal and addictive drugs is no longer acceptable scientifically or to the people who are now benefiting from the alternative."
Rosio added, "Having the distinct honor to spend time with Governor Schweitzer discussing the medical cannabis issue, I explained how we operate in compliance with state laws, and that Montana Pain Management's acquisition by Cannabis Science will facilitate a scientific approach to the development of this important new application for medical cannabis."
Richard Cowan, Cannabis Science CFO, said the company's aim in purchasing medical marijuana clinics is to expand its research base as it aims to ultimately develop FDA-approved pharmaceutical cannabis products.
"Our primary focus is on developing medicines for patients, and the more patients you have, the better your research base can be," Cowan said. "That's the biggest advantage to us in acquiring a facility like Montana Pain Management. Because of being focused on the science, we need to work with people who have high standards, which Rick Rosio and his staff certainly do."
Rosio said the deal will allow him to hire another six to eight full-time employees, open a call center and take on an additional 100 medical marijuana patients per month and move his clinic to a new, larger location -- all while lowering prices for his products and services.

Lol I know that, just saying we are looking for around the same contract they received from big pharma. That would be amazing.
Another article talking about Gov. Brian Schweitzer's visit to our medical marijuana dispensary in Montana. Seems like we got one of the best in the state, if not the best.

The greatest thing about GW pharm that relates to CBIS, is the contract they recieved from Bayer for their product pre-FDA approval. I am of the belief CBIS' is looking to get the same thing in the near future. If that does occur, we may all be able to retire early imo. GL longs.
Two days in a row of shorting below the norm of the last couple weeks. Good sign to me. Still waiting for that funding/acquisition news, and to the moon we go!
Excellent, I love it. I bet is passes...
I'm thinking ya sometime next week, but I'm talking more about how I think the weekend allowed alot of people to let the news sink in. We shall see

Hey there, I can't PM at the moment, but thanks for the heads up!! I will probably be following your opinion. Thanks. Hope it goes well.
Its actually very good if you make sure your dispensary follows regulations, which is what CMSI pretty much does. Less dispensaries overall means more money for the dispensaries that surive. Sounds great.
