I agree. Based on the acquisition of a Canadian dispensary and what's going on with recreational legalization in Canada I imagine we have some pretty great news coming our way.
I have a feeling Greg is planning to close this deal around 4/20 check out his latest tweet

CEO in LA through Friday. We believe this should be final round of negotiations for another product offering!
Also.... canada's legalizing recreational use- first country in North America!!

Patience guys. No news is good news I suspect that means they want to wait until closer to 420 and give us great news so it'll skyrocket and not just pump and dump - The last thing we want is for the news to come out too soon and jeaporadize a major sell- off around 4/20.

Wow. Patience has been rewarded....and this is just a small glimpse!!
“The vast majority of patients with metastatic ocular melanoma survive less than a year, due to the difficulty in treating metastases to the liver, which are a hallmark of this cancer. It is therefore especially gratifying to see patients with this rare disease survive almost two years after receiving PHP with Melphalan/HDS,” said Dr. Jennifer K. Simpson, President & CEO of Delcath. “We are hopeful that our ongoing Global Phase 3 FOCUS study for patient with ocular melanoma liver metastases will yield similar results, further reinforcing the benefits of our technology, and bringing us one step closer to U.S. market availability.”
I make investing decisions based on the current state of companies. I'm sorry if you've got burned in the past but it seems like 2017 might just be the year DCTH gets the green light. The results from the trials have been insanely successful - and Delcaths newfound success in Europe all point to FDA Approval
Again, it's biotech - it's a different beast. I guess time will tell. I'm certainly not selling my shares until I make a nice profit.
And yes, DRYS is without a doubt a trade. Lesson learned
Two days ago I told my husband I was afraid of a r/s and his response was "wouldn't that be a good thing" - he's runs a biotech venture fund
Biotech is a completely different animal. Sometimes they work, most times they don't. Less than 5% of oncology trials make it from phase 1 to approval. Its is a looooong, expensive, frustrating process that can take decades - as in the case with Delcath. Trials are a cumbersome BEAST. Especially when they deal with life and death.
Knowing & understanding the implications of what it means to have cancer, I think we can all agree that there is an enormous demand for this product. I for one, was shocked to find out that targeted administration of cancer drugs to specific organs was not yet FDA Approved.
Having had first hand experience waiting on FDA Approval for 5 yrs (non-oncology) I empathize with Delcath and what the company has had to endure. But the toxic MMs make my blood boil, its horrendous - I'm obviously not happy with what I've seen the past few weeks, but I believe in the product & certainly think many other companies out there would agree.
The FDA would be providing a disservice to our country if Delcath doesn't get approved. Think about it - patients would have to go to Europe to get life saving treatment.....seems pretty silly.
Things aren't black-and-white.
I recently heard that Tesla has a higher valuation than Ford.... riddle me this..... is Tesla profitable?
With a price target of $16 a reverse split was pretty much expected. I recently made a 200% profit on CBIO r/s - had to wait a few weeks, but it was worth it.
There are few reasons for a reverse split, but in the case of Delcath, I imagine the strategy behind it is to remove the stigma & negative perception of being a penny stock - and to be more in line with competitors, while reducing the number of outstanding shares. A lot of institutional investors can only invest in stocks that are over $5 - so a split would be more attractive to a broader range of investors.
Based on one simple fact: Delcaths improved survival rate - I firmly believe that the intention of this split is to finally bring Delcath back from the dead.
I wouldn't be surprised if the news of a merger or acquisition came soon after the split.
there are many examples of reverse splits in which a company's shares not only survived but prospered:
• Famed U.S. Government bailout candidate American International Group ( AIG ) was close to being yanked from the New York Stock Exchange when its stock sank below 2. The company did a 1-for-20 reverse split that sent the price above 20. Today, AIG trades close to 60.
• When the recession pummeled Citigroup ( C ) in 2011, the company executed a 1-for-10 split that boosted its shares from around 4.50 to about 45. Citigroup's current share price is more than 55.
• Priceline.com (PCLN) did a 1-for-6 reverse split in 2003, taking its share price from around 3.50 to 22. Today, it trades at more than 1,164.
My sentiments exactly
Agreed. The dividend date is so soon - I think it should help my case. Looking forward to see what we open at tomorrow
Has anyone ever gone to a DCTH shareholder mtg? Could we be finding out more news then? I made a 200% profit after CBIO r/s - sold at $15. There's certainly an opportunity to make $
Gotham Bay - same predictions for the week? Or Possibly higher thx to dividend?
I've been waiting for someone to say that! Thanks for doing the honors ;)
Justice Department Will Evaluate Marijuana Policy On Crime Reduction
April 11, 2017
Http://marijuanastocks.com/justice-department-will-evaluate-marijuana-policy-on-crime-reduction/
In a recent memo sent to the United States attorneys, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said a task force within the Justice Department will evaluate marijuana policy as part of a larger review of crime reduction and public safety. The Department’s Task Force on Crime Reduction and Public Safety will “identify ways in which the federal government can more effectively combat illegal immigration and violent crime, such as gun crime, drug trafficking, and gang violence,” according to the memo issued Wednesday.
Sessions wrote that subcommittees of the larger task force will “undertake a review of existing policies in the areas of charging, sentencing, and marijuana to ensure consistency with the department’s overall strategy on reducing violent crime and with Administration goals and priorities.” In the memo, Sessions indicated that he has asked for recommendations by July 27. He has also directed the task force to hold a “National Summit on Crime Reduction and Public Safety” within the next 120 days.
Since taking on the role of Attorney General in January, Sessions has included marijuana in his speeches about cracking down on illegal drugs, saying, “experts are telling me there’s more violence around marijuana than one would think.” He has also been reluctant to draw a distinction between medical and recreational marijuana, noting he is “dubious” of medical marijuana. If the Justice Department is reviewing existing policies, that would presumably include the 2013 Cole memorandum.
Sessions has previously said that the Cole memorandum set up policies “about how cases should be selected in those states and what would be appropriate for federal prosecution, much of which I think is valid. I may have some different ideas myself in addition to that.” In an interview with conservative radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt on March 9, Sessions reiterated that “marijuana is against federal law, and that applies in states where they may have repealed their own anti-marijuana laws. So yes, we will enforce law in an appropriate way nationwide.” He did temper that statement with the warning that, “it’s not possible for the federal government, of course, to take over everything the local police used to do in a state that’s legalized it.”

You say moronic. I say, worth the risk.
Have you ever made $ on a R/S?
$DCTH Long & Strong
My husband builds private biotech companies so I spend a lot of time with these guys and when Delcath was $5.00 people thought it was undervalued.
Unfortunately we're dealing with MMs holding the price down - just need to keep our eye on the prize.
Just seeing this now - thanks for posting! pretty impressive - really good sign that slow and steady wins the race $ICLD long & strong! going to make us all very rich
*not intended to be ????
....that was odd
I prefer dudette ???????
based on what I know, and my experience with getting stuck in a reverse split (at a time where both companies were positioned well) something is telling me to hold overnight - at the very least. I have a feeling that many other lemmings will be buying tomorrow not realizing the reason for the increase. A lot of buyers waiting until after the R/S to get in
What exact news are we waiting from Royal Dutch Shell? How confident that news is coming?
It's not worth taking a loss when I feel confident that I don't need to
Exactly why I'm holding.
*Effect
There's one thing we can all agree on and that's that Delcath saves lives. The percentage of companies that are capable of delivering these kind of results is minuscule. Patience will be rewarded. I rationalize any red I see as a short-term loan that's helping extend patients overall survival rate.
For every affect there is a definitive cause and this is the cause I firmly believe in.

Should You Buy DryShips:
The Stock
Despite the obvious falling knife pattern in DryShips stock, investors are still buying shares in the company. In a way, this is good news because after the dilution, the company will emerge stronger at these investor's expense.
This may set up a good swing trade for those with the foresight to hold their money until after the dilution - if rising shipping rates coincide.
Conclusion
DryShips has done another reverse stock split, but this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, nor should investors waste time trying to find shares to borrow and short.
DryShips is being pummeled by many factors, including a tanking Baltic Dry Index and falling Capesize rates. Panamax rates remain strong, but we believe they will also fall by late April. If they don't fall, another bullish swing trade opportunity may emerge in DryShips as soon as the dilution is over.
To reiterate, we believe they will fall, but if they don't fall by late April, a bullish opportunity may emerge.
Remember, dilutive capital raises and reverse splits are like magnets for short interest. And when a company carries so much short interest that shares become hard to borrow, there is an opportunity for a hugely profitable short squeeze.
Check out CBIO - I got stuck in that reverse split and then had an opportunity to sell for 200% profit when it was at $15. There IS certainly a way to profit from R/S.
I'm in at 1.50 - not that worried about this R/S - just want to make my $ back. Wishing I sold above $2. At this point, just horrified of getting stuck in another R/S. is there is window of time he would need to wait before that could happen?
Predictions on how far it could run?
Blademan, I so appreciate your posts. Keep 'em coming!
Praying that the MMs did a good job of holding the price down all week so we could soar today and end the week green
Here's an interview with Brian Carney I found a few weeks ago

It seems like the 1 to 4 RS is a relatively smart ploy to get new investors in. When newbies see it up on the top gainers board they're gonna buy and get sucked in. I wouldn't be surprised if it helps the situation. At least for a day or two.
