Hi sorry been busy doing frog stuff- haven't found much that would interest the board- Still can't get a straight answer about who owns the rights to the oil leases that are in John Barksdale's name . Not the one's which say Rome oil and gas- I'm assuming that PBLS has at least a % ownership share in those. Also hoping to meet with everyone next week at PBLS headquarters- hopefully I won't be a distraction. I promise to ask good questions in a polite manner.
Yikes last post allowed for the night - thanks for the PM's and even though I can't respond to them in kind- I want those that sent them that I appreciate the info or suggestions etc. Have a good night all won't be able to post til Thursday evening- but will post anything of interest. [ PBLS interest that is].
You're exactly right about enjoying myself on my frog expedition- I think if I ever did eat a monkeyfrog the frogs at my house would sense it- maybe even smell it on my breath and slime me to death. The one thing that everyone seemed to be eating when I was there was roasted Guinea pigs on a spit- at least they looked like guinea pigs . Gotta tell you it sounds like you have quite a nice life going with all the travel ! If I could convince my wife and twin boys I think I'd like to live or at least have an extended visit to Madagasgar- They have a frog there I also breed called a tomato frog that I can always try and market to Campbell's as Tomato Frog Soup . Side note about the tomato frog is they excrete a yellow kind of glue if threatened [ looks and feels like that window or crack home sealant that is yellowish and expands after you spray it ] . If a snake would try and eat/swallow the frog - the snake would find his mouth glued shut for up to 5 days . The reason I mention it is I sell all my Tomato frog babies to a University that is looking at that secretion as a natural suture for wounds- it is great because it naturally wears off and is very acidic so it discourages infection while it seals the cut. How's that for more information than anyone could ever want? Thanks for your nice comments and I am indeed looking hard at PBLS as an investment for the long term- possibly the one investment that could get me to Madagasgar a little sooner!
Hey some actual good news from KY even without production numbers the actual journals look tight! Now the 1 million dollar question is does PBLS have an interest in the wells that list Mr Barksdale as operator or only the ones that list Rome or Mid south?
The first scan is for only wells drilled in 2005- And myself as one not easily impressed- they are impressive. [anything near 50% is outstanding ]

If anyone knows what specifically is included it would tie this all together very nicely

Let me say this first off all- I really respect your posts and I have read them for a couple years- I remember reading your posts on the QBID board on Raging bull when you correctly [and politely] wrote that you were not going to invest in QBID because your DD told you that it was not a good company long term to own. So I know that you are probably only posting 1/10th of your good DD on the boards and as such you must be extremely confident in PBLSs prospects. I am trying to tie up my loose ends today - hopefully getting a couple call backs from folks . I must admit that you make a strong case and back it up with facts! I thank you for that!
Wow! Now that is impressive! Thank you!
You don't happen to have Florida's winning lottery numbers for this Saturday's upcoming drawing handy do you?
Yes- but what I can't find out to confirm this is exactly what PBLS's relationship is with Murphy sand and gravel- I mean I think they are leasing some of the pit to other contractors . So for full impact maybe someone out there knows what the %'s are. Is Murphy a wholly owned subsidiary ?
The problem/dilema for me- is I think I found a nice bit of info on the sand and gravel side that is pretty darn positive- but I keep thinking I could get blindsided if I jump in PBLS for the long haul , so I continue to look for stuff. Lots of info under the land search - that's where I am looking at now-
I know I know-- I'm going straight to the source today-- see if that brings more clarity.
I have found positives about John Barksdale and have posted that- and I am in the process of confirming some pretty positive news regarding the sand and gravel business.
See that's where you're wrong- I'm not trying to buy in at a lower pps- I have stated before that I would happily pay much more if I believe this is a solid company. I approach my DD backwards- I assume everything a company says is a lie then try to prove myself wrong. And contrary to what most might think about me- I will gladly post/share anything positive I find about PBLS too.
Well the tax lien is from June 2005 and it's funny you don't think that may be revelant to PBLS. But I agree this is America.
I have access to a local attorney which will help
Seems like everyone is so heavily invested here that no one really wants to talk about anything that might be a negative or an unknown. Normally I would rather post this stuff on the weekend so everyone seems more comfortable talking about it but Mike and Cowboy among others have been asking me to put up or shut up so I'll do both.
Ok no one wants to talk about a June 9th 2005 IRS Tax lien against PBLS's president-
how about this then? I mean is any of this stuff pertinant to you all? I'm not sure if there are more filings in other parishes but I will be checking that too.

Kelly -did you get the 82% figure from John Barksdale or Mike Mulshine? Just wondering because I was told the WI varied from lease to lease and never got a firm % from Barksdale on any well. TIA
Damn! That's impressive! I had to go to Paraguay actually last year as my big adventure. I went to get my quota for Phyllomedusa Savaugi - aka Monkeyfrogs . I had kinda a funny experience there- I was allowed to collect 100 frogs for my permit and bring them back with me for breeding . [ I don't actually breed with the frogs- they breed- I sell their babies] After 10 days of finally collecting all the frogs we were making our final nights camp before heading back out of the "bush" and back to civilization- [ I use the term civilization quite loosely in regards to Paraguay]. Anyway we were all settling down for dinner and our last night at camp when my guide asked me how I would like dinner cooked. I was suprised because we were mostly eating trail bars and the like and was wondering what he was actually thinking about cooking- well ofcourse I realized just in time that he was thinking that we were going to eat all the frogs we had spent nearly 10 days collecting. He was quite suprised that I wanted to keep the frogs alive and I think he was also disapointed to learn that he would not have Fresh hot monkeyfrog legs for dinner. Anyway I bet you had better cuisine on your vacation!
I've been doing well as well [ now that's an akward sentence]. I had a couple PM's from some of the " Long and Strong" crowd that pulled me back into this fray. Seems like the phrase " Love PBLS or leave it" is the most popular chant . I'll probally disappear for another month - maybe get a paper route or something- Hope you had a nice vacation!
Thanks!-Wanna talk about PROGAS? I mean do you know what assets were included with the deal? If you'll notice MR Burge appears to still be in the oil and gas sector . Just wondering if he is in it with or without PBLS. Kinda like Mr Barksdale's oil leases [ the ones not listed as Rome's or Midsouth's ]- kinda wondering which ones are included in Rome's portfolio and thus in PBLS and which may be seperate. But I obviuosly bore everyone so much with my desperate need for attention.
Maybe if I do a handstand in the corner and hold my breath - that'll turn the trick.
I thought I'd terrorize RagingBull for awhile- How have you been?
I'm gonna hit the sack but I will email you in the morning if that's ok.
Let me throw out this scenario-- NOT SAYING THIS HAPPENED IN PBLS CASE BUT FOR SAKE OF ARGUMENT. err ok
Lets say the 15000 barrel oil dealy was pr'ed and PBLS insiders sold some shares on that PR - the question would be- when did PBLS management know that that PR was possibly in error? And lets just say hypothetically that The 1 billion share increase leak corresponded with the company actually buying back shares while the general public thought the AS was now double what was previously thought and perhaps some sold on that revelation. Then the extra 1 billion shares was revoked. Can you see a conflict? I mean some may have sold thinking the AS was now 2 billion shares while the company was buying those shares at a depressed price- AGAIN NOT SAYING THAT HAPPENED HERE but it certainly is a topic for discussion IMO
Got to hit the sack-- See what tommorrow brings- if you are a trader I think tommorrow is an up day - with maybe a little weakness going into a 3 day weekend at the close.
Thank you and I understand what you're saying- I whole heartedly agree- that financials are the only way anyone will be able to truly fix a fair valuation for PBLS. I think un gagging the T/A would go along way in that direction. I think PBLS would've been a lot better off if they would've concentrated on the sand and gravel , trucking. and construction business in NO. But I can certainly see why investors are attracted to PBLS's prospects. Good luck and thanks!
Mastercraft- sorry I got ya now- if you would like you can email me at monkeyfrogdotcom@aol.com- or info @ monkeyfrogdotcom- I can't do PM's [except during happy hour] But I can answer your questions in more details without clogging the board.
Short answer- it's legal- under certain conditions- but if the company is invloved with either pumping up the price or depressing the price while actively buying/or selling and it can be proven- It is highly unethical and also illegal.
You mean about a pps drop before good news?
Hehe- Just trying to avoid the inevitable basher label by trying to humanize the post-.
On a related note- anyone who reads my posts should also take into account that I sell frogs and tadpoles for a living- that should give anyone a reason for pause-
Thanks for appreciating the thought!
"pbls IS making money, and lots of it...deal with it"
If you say so
I could take the counter to most everything you are posting as "fact"
IMO
-- lot of the money they are making I think is from selling shares and repurchasing them, [ in order to do it all over again-] ofcourse that is not the popular theory with longs- also I'm waitng for PBLS management to explain the mix up with the extra 1 billion share increase and then retraction
of the aforementioned . I think there may be a little explaining to do with that [ if you think that is just a harmless slip up of inexperienced management you might want to think again]- And I hope PBLS has enough shares in the AS to complete their previous aquisitions. You all might want to dig a little deeper on that count.
And I think it's quite naive for everyone to assume that the PR's are written vaguely at the fault of Mr Mulshine- These PR's are all safe harbor friendly releases [ well that 15000 barrel of oil pr was mighty close to a lawsuit imo] . Anyone who doesn't question why PBLS leaves out the details about actual costs- actual production numbers - actual OS count- etc is really setting themselves up for a big disapointment. I realize that most if not all the posters here have invested/gambled lots of money here and maybe more than is prudent in a penny stock- so I'm sure to get flamed for this post- but honestly folks - I think you all are settling for far less solid info from a public company than most investors - should /would/do.
Having said all that- I hope that this works out for you all and I appreciate all the emails and good info that some have shared.
And finally I wanted to make a prediction-- I'm very skeptical that in Febuary a form 10 will be filed- but just wanted to post that if it really is gonna be filed and it is good news don't be suprised if PBLS pps gets hammered a little right before the filing . And if there is a delay watch for a big runnup before the announcement-in other words you'll likely see the opposite pps reaction to what is actually called for by the event . FWIW and as always IMO.
[ quickly steps into his fire proof suit]
I'm "stilltrying" to get the pool company info together- I was hoping to actually put out some numbers that I feel are closer to the truth in so far as the PBLS portfolio of companies. I am happy to share but would prefer to have it all together . The hardest part has been finding actual contact info for each of the companies and finding lease holders that are willing to talk to me- I had to be kinda sneaky to get the oil info .
Thanks! Actually I already got ahold of them and got the info I was looking for.
Hmmmm do you happen to have the telephone number for the other Heaslip construction company by chance-?
I'm confused [which is quite normal] are you saying there are 2 Healsip construction companies operating in LA? and was your spelling of " Heslip" a typo or am I missing something from the company's webpage? Sorry if I'm not making sence. I have spent 5 days calling lease holders in KY and any telephone number I could track down from Michigan to California to LA to TX to NY and most spots in between- for any business listed as an aquisition by PBLS. If you have better info I would be most grateful if you would share it.
Thank you !!
Hmmm if you want to know how business is give 'em a call.

I have been very busy researching PBLS this week- lots of stuff to share- hope it is well received.
It gets better- the New york connection is facinating- but there's even more excitement imo.
I know- more fun that way- California to New York and even some foreign intrigue.
You're welcome! Plug in some of the principals names [ after selecting new search] use the individual search then google the names and addresses listed- very interesting stuff imo.
http://www.sos.louisiana.gov/cgibin?rqstyp=crpdtlC&rqsdta=34185090F
Doesn't take much digging to see what they are all about- good luck!
Nice info and a decent illustration that helps explain the process. http://www.ncans.net/faq.htm
check out the order flow graph and explanation link inside the article
BTW ungagging the T/A would be a great first step if PBLS is looking for any official help. imo
Hi all- just so I won't be the "Grinch" here I'm gonna take a break til January . I think right now the momo guys are back and so I'm not in at present. I think .013 was a momo traders bottom but after they are done "waveing" it- It's gonna take a couple well written factual PR's to get this heading up as a trend .IMO Happy Holidays and all that. If you're long here probally be best to just take a couple weeks off and enjoy family and friends- let everything shake out so to speak.
Cheers!!!!
Seems like getting any company that turns a profit is good and I would bet PBLS already is making some changes in the cost cutting department- This was defiantely a 1000% improvement PR wise and hopefully PBLS will be releasing more of the same ...soon!
