excel, I respectfully disagree. There hasn't been a whole lot of specifics as to why my questions were "uncalled for" or even "baneful". Just generalities like they are "unanswerable".
You are probably right, many of the questions were probably "unanswerable" to shareholders. I was just seeking opinions in many cases.
There are some posters that don't appeal to me for one reason or the other. I simply, don't click their posts. I don't bother to read them if the poster has demonstrated to me that their posts are usually an unproductive use of my time. Why did so many people continue to read my posts? They had to be, because they kept attacking me. They could have simply ignored me.
That's why I thought something else was going on. I really thought some people were taking their NVEI frustrations out on me, because I asked so many questions reflecting NVEI's negative performance. Not too many people enjoy being reminded, in whatever form, of possibly making a huge financial mistake.
One way or the other, I'm really not as concerned about posting as I am seeing real evidence that a productive pattern be developed be NVEI.
However, I would like the opportunity to again converse with some trusted and repected shareholders in a civilized manner (with less "unanswerable" ?s) LOL
Matt, if you happen to read this, please consider granting me at least a three post a day probationary period on the NVEI board to demonstrate improvement.
excel, first off I want to express my appreciation for the strong stand you are taking against some of NVEI's past activities.
For future reference and in the spirit of my improvement as a poster, please explain to me as specifically as you can, why what I did was so bad.
I'll admit I was probably somewhat overbearing, but why the vicious outcry from some supposedly "class" people?
I interpreted much of the criticism as an attempt to suppress me from being overly negative about NVEI. (I thought I had seen this happen before to another poster who had "gone against the grain") Earlier, negative posting was not very well accepted by the "old guard". Things have changed considerably now, with even some of the "old guard" also expressing their consternation for some of NVEI's past activities.
I really felt like I was being "bullied" and wasn't convinced that the excuse that I asked too many unanswerable questions was valid.
Please provide me with four or five examples of why my line of questioning was so out of line. Also, if you could point out instances where I actually "blamed" others for my investment in NVEI, I'd appreciate it. I feel there is a distinct difference between blaming somebody and merely pointing out that they were simply wrong with some of their past posts "glorifying" NVEI.
I will try to be open-minded while examining your specific contentions.
Again, I am asking this in the spirit of improving the situation, I hope you respond in the same spirit.
IH Admin [Matt]. I think I got the gist of your post. If I get back I'll try to be more selective in the content of my posts. I think I've figured out how to conduct myself on NVEI's board. Could you please give me some kind of a probation trial arrangement?
excel, don't you have anything better to do than harass me? Maybe if you and my other detractors on the NVEI board would have been more persistent in asking questions long ago about NVEI's operation (like I did), they would have given shareholders more consideration, not to mention ROI.
excel, I'm not wanting to be controversial. If I ever get back over there, I plan to completely ignore any personal attacks and only converse with a few posters that have been helpful and respectful to me.
I do realize I probably got a little redundant with my questions. But I just wanted to try to understand my investment better.
IH Admin [Matt], that "three posts a day" opportunity to prove oneself seems fair. I would appreciate that opportunity myself.
AKvetch, please give me a little background on Bob Z and IHub. How can I contact Bob Z? This is really a pretty cool website. However, I have a couple of suggestions that could improve it.
Is Matt on a "power trip" possibly?
Does Matt own IHub? I'm trying to figure out why he seems to be so independent and isn't very prompt responding to a poster that is trying to find out what he's done wrong and wants to do something about it. Unless he's extremely busy, he just doesn't seem very interested in "helping" suspended posters improve. Isn't that the purpose of this "Jailhouse"?
Is Matt overworked or on vacation?
I got this notice;
"Your account is currently suspended because of a violation of the TOU. It is not terminated and you can still post. You may only post in the Jailhouse until you come to an agreement/understanding with IH Admin (Matt)."
How can you know what your violation was and reach an "agreement/understanding" if Matt doesn't respond to the person that is politely following the procedure that is stated?
IH Admin [Matt], sorry about the private message. I just noticed that wasn't wanted. Please tell me what my violation was and I'll try to correct the problem. I'm not tying to be a trouble-maker.
MIDWEST AND LURKING, I'd appreciate you sharing any information you have about NVEI, positive or negative. Either here or by PM. Maybe the Raging Bull message board is a good option. thanks!
How long does it usually take Matt to reply to simple, non-offensive inquiries about the reason for a suspension?
IH Admin [Matt], please elaborate on my violation. I know I need do a better job of ignoring offensive posters. It would help avoid some problems. I really only care to communicate with certain posters.
IH Admin, what was my violation?
porscha, after I was cut off here I went to RB to make my point. It wasn't what I would consider an "attack". Nothing like the some of the "attacks" I have got here.
Why you wouldn't consider shareholder dicussion of the ramifications of "lack of funding" in the future is beyond me. I really thought you were more perceptive than that.
I was talking about the timelines the company has actually given shareholders.
If fellow-shareholders don't care about holding NVEI accountable, maybe I should actually "back-off".
mag, thanks for the PM.
stick, let's see how smart you are. Please explain why this is a "stupid" qestion, "What if, no funding by 1) end of October, 2) end of November, 3) end of 03? How would each scenario possibly affect the tech timelines and further dilution?"
I'm pretty sure you are not capable of actually answering the question, hence the insult. But at least tell me why you think it's "stupid".
Come on, now's your chance to really impress your fellow "austin01 bashers".
What if, no funding by 1) end of October, 2) end of November, 3) end of 03? How would each scenario possibly affect the tech timelines and further dilution?
OT: excel, I just read your PMs. You are "something else". Obviously, we have different perceptions of what constitutes Christian behavior in certain facets. But I'll leave it at that. You know why I resorted to posting that on RB last night. Also, I haven't PMed you back because I don't have the feature, except for "Happy Hour".
One way or the other, I don't see where this bickering is getting us anyplace. I still feel I've been victimized by some immature "nitpicking". But I can "kinda" see where my style can be irritating at times (especially being reminded of a "shakey" investment quite frequently). But others say some things that are overlooked. I think I see the picture.
I really just want NVEI to deliver for loyal shareholders.
OT excel, I used to admire your fairness and consider you a "straight-shooter". Then I came to realize how antagonistic and mean-spirited you can be. What astonishes me, it doesn't reflect those "Jesus proclamations" you inundated us with. The sincerely devout Christians that I know are not antagonistic and mean-spirited toward others. "Actions speak louder than words", sir. I have been burnt by some "self-righteous" types in the past. I have forgiven them, but I'm still a tad sensitive about it. By the way, I realize how blessed I am. But it's a personal thing.
CWH says, "In my opinion, someone has to have some reason to come post. I own the stock and want it to go up, so I occasionally come here. Ask yourself, what would someones true motives be who comes here day after day and CONSTANTLY BASHES??? I forgot, they are trying to protect us suckers who still own the stock."
Could the reason be they are tired of being played with and hope the company get's the message?
excel, you have allowed posters to attack and insult me and seem to relish it. But I take one of your "buddies" to task and you hurl accusations at me.
"kenecom, why are you ignoring halston? Is it "getting too hot in the kitchen" for you?
Personal attack. Read the TOS you agreed to."
That is a far-fetched accusation, sir.
How about some fairness, Mr. Monitor?
hey, I want NVEI to succeed. I just don't like the attempt to censure me from searching out "the truth" about my investment. Why not encoourage both sides to present their points-of-view?
excel, please specify my infractions today and offer supporting evidence.
mikerub, just when did I start having to obey you? I wanted to see if kenecom could defend NVEI against halston's points. It looks to me like halston won this round.
kenecom, why are you ignoring halston? Is it "getting too hot in the kitchen" for you?
200 volume, WOW! eom
Thanks Trex, that's at least somewhat encouraging, for now.
Thanks Trex, if you get a chance, please PM or email me your take on the current funding situation.
excel, ranting on about me blaming others for my investment is what's getting old. I've said that I take responsibility for my own decisions. What I don't like is these people that were serious "pumpers" in the past not admiting how wrong they were.
Are you having a "memory lapse"? I used to share various personal emails that I received from John Howell quite often. Then I realized that his remarks really didn't seem to "hold much water". And until Ketch proves to me he is more than a "talker", I'm reluctant to share my conversations with him.
deeba, there is something about your steadfast confidence in our chances that still helps me have some hope.
mikerub, that "copout" got stale a long, long time ago. Also, when some of "the gang" ran spokeshave off, this board became very, very, mediocre fast. By the way, just what has your dd benefited you and your "elite crew". Are aren't you sharing.
One more thing excel, are you really sure you are always applying your "Christian principles"? Just think about it. Maybe I can try to offer you some insight like you try to enlighten me.
excel, you need to "chill". When you and some others get frustrated with NVEI, you slam me. I could care less what you and your "cronies" think. None of you have made me a dime with your condescending "wisdom". You've given me some advice, well here's some for you, GET OFF YOUR EGO TRIP.
excel, just a "figure of speech". However, if we have to wait for facts from NVEI, there won't be much to discuss though, will there?
no3putts, they might as well shut this board down then, like they did chat.
By the way, I wish you would have emphasized that about five or so years ago on Raging Bull. It could have help save some people a lot of money.
CJ, what if it continues to drift up to over .30 without news?
NP, I certainly understand that. But this would be a really dull board if we would have to wait for company-presented "facts" in order to converse, wouldn't it? The presented "facts" are "few and far between" with this company.
I'm at least somewhat encouraged by the share price drifting up a little without news. It could very easily be drifting the other way without news. I am curious to see some "opinions" as to why this "mini-pop" happened today.
What's up with this "mini-pop" today? Nice to see.
Wonder why the bid and ask have moved up a little. Is news coming?
