O/T. the cork. The person you are hatting with on GxxI is an unfortuate, disturbed person. Lost a lot money and CAN NOT get past it. Seriously, be gentle.
Sorry for private stuff on your board, folks.
cyofish, during the GFCI hayday, I certainly had my issues with you. However, I've always admitted that you shared a lot of of your worthwhile knowledge with the Board. Even in the Glory Days ( the days before everyone saw Dial as a crook) I recognized you as an asset.
This post of your is one of your best. Thanks.
"Do you think they would want the truth or already know it?"
"They" are always interested in Truth, Justice and The American Way.
(Not sure jut what the American Way means anymore. After all, America is being "fudamentally changed")
The FBI is a part of the Justice Department. The FBI was a part of the Uselton and GGI cses. No reason to think they wouldn't be working with the SEC in a GFCI investigation.
Why Homeland Security? The Libya connection? That's a reach, IMO
FWIW. If the SEC / FBI contacts a person regaring an investigation, they cannot order that person to be discret. However, they can request that person to do so.
Added @ .25. Come on .30s & .40s!! EOM
downsideup, thank you for the reply. I first started posting here when I read about Norex's claims regarding Adams Ranch in Crockett Co. I knew that property had been used by numerous scam artists and wanted to alert investors.
Recently the property has gone through another itteration. Jim Dial ( CEO of GFCI/FTXN/UERI, all former "owners" of the Adams Gas leases ) peddled at last part of Adams Ranch to Rverdale Capitai, whoever in hell they are. I wonder just how many pigs are feeding at the Adams Ranch slop trough?
The more I see of Norex's style of making claims with no followup, the more I think they are a likely scam.
On which one of Norex's prospects are they supposed to start drilling on?
"If not, could you ask?" ASK WHO FOR CRISAKE??? I've told you MANY times that I don't think shareholers were paid off or compensated by Dial and his band of crooks. That's my opinion.
You are entitled to your own delusions. Oops! I meant opinions. Enjoy!!!!
The more I think of Kender's technology the more advantages I see in it.
I was the staff Construction Manager for an international construction firm in Bakersfield, CA. We did a lot of work in the desert like southern San Joaquin Valley and the Mohave Desert. Those kinds of environments are the prime locations for solar energy farms. I know about the problems of working there.
A huge problem is water supply. It's not that it can't be piped in, but it's always resisted by environmentalist and existing users of water.
Any kind of new land use in desert areas can count on resistance from environmentalists. They can run the spectrum from the completely irrational to the somewhat rational. The irrational don't even like airplanes to fly over the desert, much less build something on it. The somewhat rational can actually look at energy use proposals and make somewhat rational ecisions on them.
I think Kender's technology would get little resistance from the somewhat rationals because it dosn't use water and has a much smaller footprint than their conventional competitors.
bnfkdb4, this is an ecellnt summary! But there is a problem with it and other important posts. With the lrge volume of posts here, it and other meaninfull posts are quickly buried. In a matter of hours they move to the bottom of the page. I read one last night that had more of a layman's bullet list of Kender's technology highlights. Newbies should be able to easily find that kind of information.
With the growing number of Newbies looking for iformation, I think it would be a good idea for one of the Modirators to keep a Sticky Post list of links to the more meaningful posts.
It should be a living list with some being retired and newer ones listed. 4 or 5 links should be enough.
Message Boards should never be the limit of ones DD, but they are a great way to get a quick feel for a stock. This one has a GOOD feel to it!
More bad news. The DTC was granted a delay 'til some time in October. October 2009 I hope.
justerx, my IRA was closed out and TDA says I owe them thousands more. I don't post about it any more because I'm bored to death with the endless rehashing of history. Yes, I do hope the SEC and Montgomery County court give us some redress but I'm tired of beating it to death!
TY pisa, great analysis! EOM
Looks to me like Kender Energy is on to something BIG.
There are three basic types of solar energy:
Thermal Units. These are used to heat water or another media to heat swimming pools, buildings, water systems. They do not generate electricty.
Photovoltaic (PV). This is a very common system used to power every thing from calculators to large electric generating plants. Their main limitation is the space required for large systems and the fact they need constant sunlight. The sunlight probelm can be mitigated by use of storage batteries. Large banks of storage batteries are a whole'nuther problem.
Solar Power Generating Plants. Solar power is used to generate steam which drives generators. As with PV, no sun no power.
For those of you that have stayed awake through all this, here's the exciting part. For Kender.
Kender's system uses solar power to heat helium and pressurize it. The pressrized helium turns a turbine, which generates electricity. I don't fully understand just how this next part works but it's the key to Kendrer's system.
Through a closed loop of compressors, heat exchangers solar panels, pressure and temperature are maintained. This system is the key to how the Kender System can operate over night. This is what sets Kender apart from the other solar systems. It does not require constant sunlight.
The applications for this kind of break through are enormous. I'll talk about them another time.
Bramabill, After reading your post I checked your profile. Looks like you've got some professional creds. Space is the 800 pound gorilla in the solar and wind energy biz. Especially wind. There is a thing called "throw distance" that really takes a lot of room. It's common for wind turbines to throw off blades. They call fly a long way. To protect the pblic, turbines must be set back from the property line. This buffer area can take hundreds of acres in a large wind farm.
Due to the large foot print of conventional solar farms and wind farms there are a lot of impacts because of endangered flora aand fauna.
Solar farms utilizing Kender's small panels will have much less environmental impact.
The only attorney, re-GFCI crap, I've signed with was Bonnie. Nothing with CTBG or the lawyer representing 5 CTBG SH.
Yesterday a good friend advised me to take a look at KNDR. I did and bought. Thank you my good friend!!
Bull, good to hear from you. Thanks for tossing your two cents into the BBB thng. I know that you did a lot of independent DD , by caling some of the tangential players. I also know that you know how much work BBB did to check out Grifco and Adams Ranch.
BBB's main problem was that he just couldn't believe Dial could get away with stealing Adams Ranch. BBB was one of the biggest victims of the scam.
As I recall the DTC report in question showed Ameritrade holding 105,000 shares of GFCI. At the time I had over 200K my self, in Ameritrade. Jody, King's helper, sent the report to some SH and they sent ti to others.
I think the discrepancy in the report was more an example of the DTC's poor record keeping than anything nefarious. The nefarious components in Grifo were JD and his associates. I don't include ANY scammed investors as associates of Dial.
I've said this before. Dial's most avid, blind supporter was yesNY. BBB was certainly the most articulate advocate for Grifco and the Crockett CO gas play. But his support was based on a lot of industry information and independent DD. He was in regular contact with the San Angelo TRRC office to check on the progress of the drilling program. yesNY on the other hand got all of his info from Dial and dutifully posted it. Having said that, I don't think Dial paid him a dime or gave him any shares. Dial wa a master at developing sycophants.
IMO, a fairly recent example of conning people was when Ryanmarana started pumping GFCI, long after Dial had been shown to be a con artist. Ryanmarans posted things that convinced me he was in contact with "Mr Dial".
justerx, this is just the kind of thing that I thought you have been hinting at for all these months. Somehow linking posters to your loss.
I will say this. Some probaly bought based on positive things people like BBB & I said about GFCI. However there were as many bahers as pumpers. Some of the bashers had compelling arguments against GFCI. And Oh yes, they were right. Those that bought did so while reading both sides of the argument. I was an early pumper, but I don't reall ever advising the Board to buy. In the end, jutrx and Jim Dial are responsible for your loss. Just as Dial I are responsilbe for my loss.
You said "I think it's possible that some shareholders were compensated and others were not. That would explain why so many quit posting and did not care if they sold or received CTBG shares. "
You're saying that for some reason Dial compensated select posters enough so that tey were no longer interseted in GFCI or CTBG or whehter they got their CTBG distribution? You're probably the only person on the Planet that thinks that makes any sense.
Vemixon probably lost interset as have so many other. No mystery. GFCI is dead. Just us busy bodies left.
I don't know if the SEC has an interest in the CTBG vs DTC case.
printmail, I think I may be under attack by The Unknown Forces!!
I just looked at the iHub FTXN Board. On July 9 brewcrew made a cryptic post about Riverdale Sapitol. ericasam came back with a post about some new shell. I clicked on the subject line to read the message and there was no text in it.
I thought it was just another glitch so I clicked on ericasam's name to try and find the text under his profile messages. ericasam was born on July 9 and had only made that one post. I clicked on it and the full text came up. At a glance I saw it had a link in it. As I started reading it, it disappeared from the screen! If I stop posting please call in Tommy Lee Jones and The Men In Black. They may be my only hope.
Best2 listen. If I see oliveoil, I'll tell him you were asking about him.
Good bye
B2B PS. I'm not kidding about ericasam's post.
I'm in regular contact with one of the 5 SH that are being represented by an attorney. As far as he knows the trial is still set for 8/31. My guess is that the DTC will pull every legal trick they can to get the case dismissed. As a last resort. it wouldn't surprise me for them to settle with CTBG, out of court, to avoid dealing with a few hundred SHs.
I think oliveoil simply lost interest, as have dozens and dozens of others. Or----he's been abducted by The Unknown Forces ( perhaps not of this Planet) along with many others that vanished from the Other Board.
Speculating on DKGR?????? That's like betting that Custer will win the 2nd Battle Of The Little Bighorn!!!
I think I've figured out the purpose of all your talk bout what happened on the RB Board", with no explanation of what the heck you are talking about. Or, "why was the SEC at Transfer On Line? Or, " What do you think they meant by that"?
Maybe you are testing the water to see if there is a market for some kind a new parlor game. Something like "I've Got a Secret" Or "20 Questions", based on the Grifco Saga.
Personally, I don't care to play any more Grifco games.
No justerx, I don't feel you are a basher, nor do I think you are an agent for Dial. I do thnk you are probing for evidence that message board posters were working with Dial. Even if that was the case you only have two people to blame for your woes. Jim Dial and yourself.
You are agonizing over a dead horse. Most have moved on.
I hang out here for four basic reasons:
1. To counter anyone that even imples that Dial was a victim or hints that GFCI may be resurected.
2. I have a lot of information, most from my cousin's association with Grifco, Global and Lyamec. When ever I can I want to clarify things that I may have information on.
3. Folks are always finding new info on things GFCI and posting it.
4. Entertainment. I enjoy most of the back and forth with my fellow victims.
cyofish, as of May 2009 there was absolutely an investigation of Grifco. But Grifco is just a part of a much larger investigation.
I don't remember that I made such a post, but I certainly could have. If saying bad things about a stock makes one a basher, after all that has transpired with GFCI, anyone wth a brain, comenting on GFCI, could be called a basher. IMO.
From justerx "I do remember a post that said "do you think people are starting to see a pattern?" I thought it an odd post at the time."
Does anyone remember the following statements from past posts?
"Depending on how much he has...it really doesnt give him that much power"
" We sprayed him with Lysol and hes ready for todays action."
"If he is dirty, they will get him.
What do you think they meant? WHO THE HECK KNOWS??? It was years ago and they are now meaningless.
'
20033
I know for a fact that in late May 2009 the SEC and the FBI were acively investigating Grifco.
" know that the RB board changed around the time of the buyout PR. "
justerx, you have said this many, many times. What are you talking about? Boards change all the time. Posters leave and posters come all the time.
Thank you lancefz. Good info. I already have a small position.
"as they say...add and add some more... "
Based on what?
justerx, I don't respond to you very much anymore because most of your posts are so repetitious.
Where did you get the idea that GFCI lost Global in 12/05? As I recall printmail found a Lyamec statement form 8/06 that said GFCI was no longer with Global. You may be right though. I just don't remember. You seem to have total recall of things GFCI.
The first time I ever checked GFCI's website, around April 2005,I'm pretty sure it was Grifco.org.
Global is still booming, according to recent drive by reports. The Grifco shop in Lafayette is also busy. As far as I know Jerry griffith is running it independent of GFCI. I have no idea the nature of their parting of company.
I recently got a first hand account of Grifco (LA.) tools being used in SW Texas.
That was all a long time ago. I don't remember what I believed. I've moved on.
Yes, yes and yes. I sold my CTBG, TDA zeroed out my account and BBB and I talked to the SEC. We also both tstified at the November CTBG v DTC hearing. As far as I know the trial is still set for Aug 31.
O/T. I got a PM asking about biofuels. I'm not a paying i-Hubber so I can't reply in kind. I'm the last person to ask about "Green Energy". I belong to the Drill Here, Drill Now school of thought.
ncil67, I checked on the companies that Ben Anderson has been associated with. As yet, I've found no one that knows him personally. Based on my checking, his background is very pertinent to what Frontier is in to.
I was born into the drilling business. My Dad was a driller and drilling supervisor. While in college I worked on a well workover crew in Oklahoma, as a roughneck in Lousiana, and on a directional drilling crew in Texas. My career was in petro/chemical construction. I'm a retired Construction Manager. I have many contacts in the oil patch.
When I saw that most of Mr Anderson's experience was with Canadian companies, I called a friend in Calgary and asked him about the companies that Mr Anderson had been associated with. They are just the kind of operations that Frontier is working to get into. If Mr Anderson had been a pertoleum engineer for one of the majors, he could have been specialized and not have the kind of broad experience needed to do the variety of work that Frontier will be doing.
Of the companies Mr Anderson was with, I'm only familiar with one of them, High Plains Energy. I know of two companies with that name. The larger one is in Calgary, the other is in Oklahoma. Mr Anderson majored in petroleum engineering at the University of Oklahoma, so he may have been with the Oklahooa based one.
Another good sign that Frontier is on the right track is their association with Weekly Production. They are a Texas based company with connections with Permian Basin Services and Weatherford.
I want to hear more specifics from Frontier before I jump on board, but it appears they are building the right kind of base. I'll keep watching them
