Original DMV here
Excellent point. I've said this many times. Absolutely ridiculous profession where you can be wrong over half the time and no one says anything
There should be accountability for things said on here, but you know that will never happen.
You can't miss something that didn't happen
Well done.
So in all seriousness...you think with the way that this board does their DD, they would not have seen an article from January 21 and already had it dissected?
Brother, we all want the stock to do well. But i can't fake excitement over something I've known for 8 days. Sorry. It's not a conspiracy. You have a good night as well
But the article offers no new information that hasn't been known here for at least a week. That's why no one is excited about it.
I saw nothing new tonight in regard to factual DD. Maybe i missed something, but I actually have no idea what people are arguing over. That would be why no one is talking about it. They either don't understand what you are talking about it or they have taken a much needed night off from this board.
Again, everybody's getting too deep in the weeds here. My point is that when a house is under contract, the market knows immediately because it has to. You would not continue showing your home if you had a good contract. You have a very very niche situation where the house is not actually under a normal contract because you have a sale of home contingency.
I'm not going to post about this again because it seems people are misunderstanding my point about the analogy
Yes that sucks. But your only leverage is to walk away. Your realtor should've fought a little harder though
I'm just referring to everyone using this analogy when it comes to the contract. The contract is immediately known by the market when a house is sold. As you well know. Regardless of if that's new construction or an existing home, the contract is updated in the system immediately so people know. That's clearly not happening here, so it's not a good comparison. Only point I'm trying to make, since I've seen this comparison multiple times now.
We can twist whatever we want to try to fit this situation, but I'm just speaking about contracts. And yes, where I am...houses generally close in about 30 days. But my market is insane. New construction is obviously not what I'm referring to.
Where are you that it takes 50 days? That's a bit longer than where i am. The problem with real estate analogies is that the market knows of a contract immediately when the contingency is updated.
I believe this is exactly how etrade works as long as you also keep the 25k in.
It's a little more complicated than a yes or no answer I think. But my suggestion would be to call their customer service and ask them all your questions. They've always been very helpful and there 24-7.
I don't have the experience with this to know the complete nuance of your question. But I had the exact same issue as you and it was solved by switching to a margin account, even though I never would borrow money from a broker.... Even though it's now available. It did release some restrictions that you are having I believe
I hit submit too fast. Margin account or day trader account. Requires certain minimums with etrade though. But probably not an issue with this stock's gains to have that in your account
Or just get a margin account
Haven't sold anything, but the news caused a lot of flipping immediately at the open. Pps stayed down the whole day if i remember correctly. Not sure that's a positive. Changing the ticker was a given anyway.
That news didn't work out so well last week. Why are we trying to recreate that exactly?
Do we ever open at these ridiculous predicted levels? No. No we do not. What reason would there be to gap up .0055? None. So it would crash back down hard most likely. I know you didn't predict this. I just don't get why we do this multiple times a week... No accountability when wrong every time.
There is a less than zero chance he is a billionaire. Not even sure why that matters and why people are giving you crap. I don't think people understand what you have to build to be a billionaire, like you said.
Because he wants to run the price up quickly to flip his shares.
I've asked Huey Lewis the same thing for years
And yet, here you are
Wasn't a slight. Meant new to ihub. The person you gave a serious response to is the biggest a-hole on this board. Just go back and look at all of today's post to see what he does.
Run
You must be really new
Serious question. Do you think this is helping your case of flipping? There may be two people here who would still take you seriously. Not worth it. Seems like you could get out of the basement and get some fresh air. Have mom cook you lunch. Better ways to spend your time.
Pstats will be here cheering this on soon. Like a fly if i took a dump outside.
Friendly reminder to use paragraphs
Hilarious to me that the people who sold today to buyers just gave them an S ton of future profit. Wow. Gotta love fear
I'm still here....but....For all the people who don't like the negativity now, they should take note when they are spouting nonsense about a gap up on open to $.05 and $.10 by EOW. It's just as ridiculous on the other end of the scale.
Would you like him to be wearing a gold robe?
Ok i see now. Well, I'm no more right than you are since neither of us know
I'm familiar with Ubuntu touch. Barely. But UTOP is obviously short for utopya. And I'm just not seeing the correlation between Ubuntu and Utopya. I do think this company is going to be more software driven right now, which is probably better for sustaining long term revenue.
I will become much more invested in the details once news is released about the phone or the software. Admittedly I can't offer much right now other than the basic common sense judgment on the due diligence. But as someone who has rooted probably 15 different types of android phones in their life, the later developments will take this more into my area. However, the phone or software doesn't necessarily have to sell like hotcakes for this to be successful.
I thought he was actually being somewhat positive compared to normal.
It would make me feel better if he knew how to spell unparalleled...even CLOSE to correct would work for me :)
I bet you every share that you have in your account, you will be changing your tune right back when it dips
You think?!
I was clearly being sarcastic
