Items in cotation mark should be Kim 's words, and hopefully these are not misrepresentations...after all, Kim is a lawyer, right?
Sounds really great, but the market does not seemed to have picked up on it?
It seems to me that Kim has found a smart way to keep us (the shareholders) informed (through an interview, and not through a PR) to minimize expenses.
Ok spongeni, just sad to know that some posters are not ashamed to post nonsense without any ground.
Your comment feels more like junk than the stock.
And I'm guessing that since there was no update to their blog since 2010, there isn't much going on...
If everything goes as planned (and it has been hinted in many ways by Kim, in his letter) next news can only be big, otherwise we might see the downfall of this company to a bottom that might never be recoverable...
Sooner, I hope! And hopefully, it will be big!
Manshoon,
I'm not all that patient and it seems that overall businesses now consider a year, and over, to be long term. So I agree with you that near term has passed but I guess that a substantial PR within a year is still acceptable by many as near term.
He also indicated that KBLB is accelerating in all fronts (commercialisation, development of fibers more advanced than MS and development of pure spider silk platform). This gives room for more than one news!
Military and sportswear producers...
In August Kim has indicated that KBLB was on track to enter into MOUs and LOIs in the near term. I would consider that 5 months from that indication is beginning to be quite longer than the near term! So, the clock is ticking...
Buy out is not an option for KBLB, unless they have changed their vision, their mandate and that Kim has purposely avoid to put this as a possibility in his letter to us (the shareholders).
I'd doubt that Kim would be waisting his time. He has the greatest interest, as the largest shareholder of KBLB, to have this company start producing revenues.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too Romans828 all the best to everyone!
The best things happen when you believe, have faith and work hard! This is specially true for everyone involved in KBLB!
Don't you have enough of that retoric on pinksheet stock? We know that we are in the pinksheet, and we are well aware of what it implies. So why not post meaningful analysis?
He is the prophet, predicting the danger ahead! Don't you see, he knows the road to come by looking at the past path. We should be thankful and sell all our shares before the doom's day!
Red flags are there since the beginning, I don't think anybody is there to defend them, but some are there to ensure that we only look at them.
Keep presuming, you might get the point eventually...maybe not.
This is normal behavior for many shorters.
Now, you just have to report the fraud to SEC and OTC. You will make us a great favor and I will personally treat you as my savior!
Correct!
Perhaps you should do a litle more research and review your logic!:o)...LOL
We all know that they are not. You are not learning us anything.
After all, would not be surprised to know that some posters have multiple personnalities!:o)
Sorry this was an answer to Downside, I don't know why it got posted against ES1s post???
First off, Mojo has not proved to have done DD, neither have you.
Second, I've been following KBLB since many years and I will expect sales when a PR will indicate that there are sales.
And third, if you really are sort of lost as to why I bother, you must be completely in the unkown as to why you bother! LMAO even harder than you are...wink...wink
Are you for real? You are expecting a material event like "millions of dollars" to be "announced" in the FR through their disclosure?
If there were $M of revenue this would have been disclosed to shareholders in a PR, as comercialisation. Get real!
You see, this is not like Apple promoting a new IPad to come on the market in six months. KBLB has developped a "component" that can be used to develop a marketable product, just like Apple had to develop a chip to include in the IPad (I'm not using the IPhone or the IPod as exemples because they both are by product of the IPad, if I'm not mistaking).
I think that (breeding and harvesting) is why KBLB has moved in to the Innovation Park, keeping their research and development at Notre-Dame.
Here are my thoughts,
Considering KBLBs vision:
"VISION
Kraig Biocraft Laboratories, Inc. (Trading Symbol: KBLB) is a fully reporting biotechnology company focused on the commercialization of new textiles and high performance fibers including spider silks. Our investments in genetic research are targeted for product development and innovative near term solutions to meet the practical problems of our world."
The company is likely to associate with another entity(ties) to produce a new textile and/or a high performance fiber. Selling the rights to use the silkworms or MS is improbable.
Interesting, it lets think that discussions may have been initiated before (or shortly after) the TechTextile show!?
First Mike and ES1,
Alright, you are both right, the name of the companies or entities could have an impact if disclosed. Though, Kim has indicated that discussions included military or companies associated with military!?
According to this source:
http://www.mulberryfarms.com/
The price for silkworms (100, not fully developed) is $7.95, so I imagine eggs are cheaper. That, being said, this is for regular silkworms. What KBLB has is somewhat unique (prototype) and would be far more expensive.
Considering this, I agree with you, it is very unlikely that KBLB will sell the eggs or the worms. This would make them lose any advantage over the competition and that is probably why KBLB is so secretive about everything.
Kim/Ben,
We (the shareholders) would very much appreciate an update on LOIs and/or MOUs that may have followed the CAs and/or NDAs.
I understand that CAs and NDAs may prohibit any disclosure of specific terms but are the names of the companies and/or entities part of these terms?
Higher the premium, lower the volume...lower the premium, higher the volume.
What strategy pays off the best? KBLB's strategy is very well likely targetting the technical textile first.
Most likely!:o) It would stretch further.
Totally agree with you First Mike! That is why Monster Silk will make a major difference in alot of industries!
But KBLB has a focused plan, as explained by the CEO in his letter to us and I firmly believe that we will hear about LOIs and/or MOUs in the near future.
This is for regular silk, of course!
