Example: "U Mining Resources Inc. (Pink Sheets: UMNG - News), today announced that it has completed the key acquisition of the "Mount Otish" Territories. Management has been working on the purchase of this incredibly promising and strategic area for over 6 months."
Loanstew, How can the company get away with a blatant lie like that then?
You guys are right. They were misleading when they used the word "imminent" on their PR's. The recent volatility in the stock price is also very questionable. If the company was straight up wouldnt they come out and say hey this is why we havent been able to release anything yada yada yada. Instead we are left in the dark with an IR who according to some on here is "out of the loop". When I initially invested into UMNG it was because of their Uranium claims. I am a firm believer that Uranium is going to continue northward and that the demand is going to continue to outpace supply. If their claims are legit there is big money to be made here.
Back to .05 for the time being. em
Anybody think we'll see .019 again?
Your right, "imminent" was 100% bull crap. Just to string the ones along who didnt know enough so they could sell their shares.
**"According to the latest correspondence with the Chief Geologist, the Company will receive the final results before the end of August 2007."
In spring 2007, the Company retained the services of the geologist firm "InnovExplo" (www.innovexplo.com) to conduct a full NI-43-101 report on this property.
According to the latest correspondence with the Chief Geologist, the Company will receive the final results before the end of August 2007.
Based on recent privileged information made available to our Company by an external third party who conducted geological surveys on our properties, management discovered that in a key specific area covering 2 square Kilometers, Uranium would be present at approximately 2-4 meters below the surface. This would allow the Company to extract the uranium via the open pit mining method rather than the underground (box cut) mining technique, which presents unique economic advantages.
From updated website: For those who have not read:
In July 2007 management acquired the control position of a TSX Venture Corporation. This acquisition provides the Company with an exploration arm for its Mining activities in Quebec and an effective means to raise exploration capital via a flow through share program; which takes advantage of the tax benefits related to investing in a Canadian Mining Corporation.
Management will complete a proxy statement disclosure offer and reorganization plan that will be sent in September 2007 to all TSX Venture Corporation shareholders to be approved at the annual shareholders meeting scheduled for the end of November 2007.
For the past four years, Québec, located in the northeastern part of North America, has been rated the most attractive jurisdiction in Canada for mineral exploration investment, according to a Fraser Institute survey. Québec ranked 1st worldwide in 2001-2002, 2nd in 2002-2003, 4th in 2003-2004 and 3rd in 2004-2005 for its exploration investment attractiveness.
First of all, Québec has a tremendous mineral potential, as indicated by the presence of several world-class ore deposits. Consisting of 90% Precambrian rocks, it is renowned for its precious and base metal production, namely for gold, copper, nickel and zinc. Moreover, Québec is the world's second largest producer of niobium and titanium slag, and is also the world's largest exporter of aluminum, and the second for magnesium.
Mining regime
As opposed to what may be common practice in other states; the mining regime in Québec is based on the principle of free mining, which provides universal access to the resource. Thus, the first to obtain a mining title automatically obtains the exclusive right to search for mineral substances and the assurance of obtaining a mining lease upon request.
Mining tax system
Québec's mining taxation system is one of the most advantageous in Canada, featuring one of the lowest taxation rates, and a 12% credit on duties refundable for losses for exploration, deposit appraisal and mine development activities that is unique in Canada. In addition, Québec offers businesses having establishments and that carry on activities in Québec a refundable tax credit for mineral exploration activities, covering up to 45% of exploration expenditures. Québec also supports the industry at each stage of its development, from discovery through processing.
Expertise and know-how - Québec's strengths include not only its raw materials, but also its highly-trained workforce, its training facilities and its specialized research centers. Québec is a world leader in the collection and processing of geo-scientific data, and its spatial reference database Sigéom is unique in its category. In addition to reducing the time needed to obtain data, Sigéom can make an exceptional contribution to the decision-making process.
Infrastructures
• Highly-developed road and rail networks
• Three international airports
• Several sea ports with access to the Atlantic Ocean
• Abundant, competitively priced energy
In conclusion, the Company has acquired the control position of a TSX Venture Corporation to take advantage of "Accredited shares financing" for exploration purposes. This measure allows U Mining to raise capital through its subsidiary to cover exploration surveys on its vast properties by selling shares, which offers enormous fiscal advantages for Canadian investors with respect to their tax reports and pension plans.

.50-1.00 with 43-101?
The quiet before the storm. em
Nice .06 close. Volume was very low today. I have a feeling this stock is going to pop again soon.
UMNG(.048) is my lotto pick!
This stock can explode at anytime. I think loanstew has the right idea until the deeper questions are answered, but regardless the stock can take off back to .30-.40 in no time given a good 43-101. I think this last ride from .02 to .10 in two days is just a pre-tremor to the actual quake! Good luck all. Hoping the best for everyone.
When the stock was at .02 I had an order to buy 500,000 shares at .015 and it never filled.
bid .045 ask .05
.05 down .01 on only 83,000 shares traded!
Dr. I take that back! Bid is already dropped to .04!
Dr. I dont think you'll get .03. Maybe .045. The one thing to note is this stock trades extremely volatile. This could be .25 by Wed. or .02 by this afternoon. I personally dont see this dropping below about .045 though.
UMNG preparing to breakout?
UMNG (.06) My lotto pick is ready to explode!!
.10? .15? .20? What will it be this week?

"The fundamentals are horrible and I cannot see anz value in this company."
What fundamentals??LOL
Where has ISWT been? em
This is no headfake. I would definitely be picking up some shares around a nickel. It is my opinion that sometime next week we will be in the .12-.18 cent range.
To be honest we still havent had that high of volume. 1.6 million shares traded is really nothing!! Especially when at one point it was trading up over .04 cents!
Remember, when I talked to IR at the end of last week. They told me that they talked to the colonel and he sounded very upbeat about the NI's! They wouldnt get into timelines for anything though.
Pablito...something very good! Otherwise the stock wouldnt be heading north! Lets see what tomorrow and next week brings. I can definitely see this holding above .10 again in the near future. I have talked to some UMNG investors who dont post on message boards and they are holding out for .50-1.00. They see big value in Uranium and are banking on UMNG's claims.
Nice day, stock settled at .065 on a few small sells. Most trading even in the late day was buying. Something is brewing.
NI's must be very good!
.50 here we come! em
We have to realize that the volume was very low today for this significant rise in the stock price. This is an overall good sign because it shows that it wont take that much buying pressure to send this stock price much higher.(Although its possible the opposite can happen as well) The other good thing is that this could be a possible sign of some good news on the horizon. We also have to keep in mind though that there are several important unanswered questions still out there in regards to the company and its claims. Overall, it was nice to see this big rise and lets hope it keeps going until the NI's are released!! The possibility for this stock in the short-term to rise back in the .30-.40 range is definitely there. The longer term has unlimited possibilities.
The chart readers must be loving this chart. Buy time.
Heading back to .10+?
I wonder if this is the bottom??? em
Heard from IR, talked to the colonel and said reserves report will definitely be coming out and should be very good. Sounded very upbeat about it. Wouldnt go into it anymore than that. Wouldnt give a time frame either.
Good morning all, I see nothing but sells going through this morning.
*Alot of questions still unanswered with this company. Small/Microcap Uranium stocks have the potential to attract a TON of money...that is as long as their legit. I have talked to several investors who believe we are just touching the tip of the iceberg as far as the demand for Uranium goes and will continue to go over the next decade. If a company can prove they have quality reserves alone, the money will come pouring in. I will possibly be investing a lot more in umng, but not until I get some more answers from the company.
I have heard realistically from management that uplisting to otc bb should come in approximately 40-50 days from now. Lets see if that stands.
Any company response in regards to the biennial form? em
