Houahh! Poss. early retirement! eom
Can Wessel buy outside of the public market? What if Paul, Steve and others are holding certificates for their 40mm X 3. Can they transfer those shares to Wessel outside of the market at a price they agree upon? If so, maybe that has already been done. jmo
spaceheater: good post 71912. tks. eom
FrankieJ: your 71578, smart observation. Tks. eom
oops, W.e.s.s.a.l eom
penny_ta: exactly! Wessel has to have been buying all along. There was that one IR release that said buying could commense at once...and probably did. eom
golfndude: exactly! Wessel could buy the whole thing. eom
ogclip: i'm guessing "the plan" is bigger than the price per share in this range. jmo
FactsHere: Kern River? What do you know about the Kern? eom
Don't call them for now. We know enough. eom
REMINDER: Stay OFF THE PHONES. eom
CONFIRMATION: NO REVERSE, NO DILUTION. eom
MHS...your 70575 post. good input. tks. eom
added 25,000 @ .076 today! giddiup! eom
pcfd635: great IR "heads-up" link. tks.
ed53wa: i own the same company in the pinks that is on the vancouver exchange and it is like day and night. the vancouver exchange trades it day in and day out but what i own is in the pinks and barely trades. i have been hoping to get some splash effect on my shares from the vancouver action but it hasn't really happened yet. not the same liquidity. i am hoping the same thing doesn't happen when this stock begins trading on the Dubai exchange. any ideas?
allmanchase: great strategy, tks. it's a keeper. eom
SuperSniper00: What if the "Dubai Ports" deal was some how connected to what we are seeing unfold? Wasn't Dubai Ports, as the next step, going to acquire a U.S. company to run the ports operations through? Our guys in Dubai are known to those of the Dubai Ports Authority according to a previous press release. I don't know of any other U.S. business that is being courted by Dubai at that level than SLJB. (just trying to connect the dots.) i also think it might be more than a coincidence that Wessel is buying 125mm shares while 3 of the SLJB principals hold 40mm shares each. ...personal opinion.
Question: Taking profits strategy for longs? If SLJB goes to $4/$5,$10,$20+, what would be a max profits liquidation-hold strategy for longs? I'm thinking ahead. eom
FYI: SLJB on Raging Bull is a waste of time. eom
snips007: the nitwits on this board burned SLJB and associated companies out. i'm suprised they still talk to the public. hopefully not too much damage was done. eom
sandvet: former Navy CT/IS here. it appears the Al-Qaeda beef is with 3 countries not part of the UAE. fingers are crossed. eom
Mel Williams: i'm thinking consolidation of all of the related companies into the public vehicle...SLJB. eom
Stock H.O.G.: awsome post. tks. eom
Steve...Pres of Int'l Bldg Prod...the site has shown that for some time now...way beyond a week or 2. That is why I have the impression he is still very much in the mgmt. mix. eom
toddeholden: your 67278, could be very true. tks. eom
Stock4life: your 66247 post. sold? i've been thinking it may be more than coincidental that 3 principals hold 40mm shares each and Wessal is buying 125mm shares. eom
rkor: your 66220. that is how i see it too. RO! eom
ecpickins: my advice...don't call Petar today. sheesh! do you want him to cut off ALL communication? imo
Han2004fl: they are learning. i was attracted to buy LOFT early on by an apparent desire/willingness on the part of mgmt to communicate/promote via media. now i see what this opportunity is turning into. maybe it's a "Canadian" naivete' to speak more freely than we might here in the States but they are learning. today's statement showed maturity and was an excellent communication. i am pleased to be reminded that the new CEO is a mover and shaker at Consultech. That may prove to be very telling of the future of "our" company.
bgramer: don't dig today. let's let them rest from us. eom
sandvet: Gulf War 1 or 2? eom
Han2004fl: your 66156 post. Scam? Sell now and move on. eom
Confuzzled1: relax, go long. enjoy the ride. eom
oops, SLJ"B" board. i got excited! eom
Right On penny-ta. Relax SLJA board. eom
getgreen: i'm impressed w/the "news". tks. very impressive statement. everything i would hope to see/learn to this point...realistically. anyone who needs more than this to shut up and participate w/o nitpicking, attempting to control/formulate public opinion/mood of the board would not be emotionally mature enough to invest in an issue of this kind and should move on to other pursuits. imo
Visiontrack: your 65756 post...excellent! thanks, eom
Visiontrack: Salvage the contract may mean cutting the per tonne price to Sulja. Could be a post contract business tactic to get the price/tonne down. ...but then a contract is a contract. we shall see.
Jake_Cousteau: Did anything say Steve is OUT? I thought he was Pres. of the Int'l Bldg Supplies branch of Sulja Bros. eom
