Sam,
.....or a nice Boston Scrod FASC dinner!!!?
RJ
PS. Hosted by Charlie of course.
Hi Fasctrack,
I was talking to Adam yesterday about a visit I would like to make
in August being that I will be in the area for other purposes. I asked him if we (FASC) would still be around and he said we "most certainly would." Even though they had a couple huge disappointments they do have some other projects coming on board. He did not say what they were, but it was encouraging that I would be able to stop by for a visit and we would drop over to Kelly's husbands restaurant for a fish dinner!
Simo's deposit check for St. Malo has not made its way to FASC yet, but they are told it will be.
RJ
Sam,
We should donate TR and Nets time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
of course, maybe they would not cooperate?
RJ
Fasctrack,
I could not have said it better. I am trying to improve my odds of increasing my 33rd year married to maybe 50...60 or so!?
Fasc sure has a hook on a few of us,
RJ
Al,
I believe that Brian is building KDS machines in cooperation with Mainland Machinery. Marketing stocks?
You do not have to reply, I am not interested in arguing. I am more interested in FASC as a potential. The future remains to be seen.
RJ
Hi TR,
I wish I knew, I did not think to ask Brian, but I try to
limit my calls as not to overwhelm him. He works long hours and
very hard. per his friends at Mainland Machinery.
By the way, Mainland is the one carrying the costs of the sold and
not paid for equipment for FASC. They think the world of Brian.
I think that speaks highly for him.
RJ
Sun,
"In fairness, the worst thing that FASC could do is to launch a wave of publicity and positive PRs before the filings are brought back up-to-date. That would invite scrutiny of the unwanted kind."
Once again, you sound just like Brian! His attorney recommended no
posting at this time.
Brian is not into pumping for sake of a dollar anyway. He would rather tell the truth. He and Cal differed greatly in this regard.
Cal was more inclined to try to please shareholders with PR's, Brian would rather wait until there are profits.
Each to their own thoughts?
Good post,
RJ
Hi Net,
"When you spoke with Brian yesterday, did he provided any insight into the path forward?"
I did not talk to Brian very long. I was busy and just wanted insight to where the drying plans were originated in response to our sludge conversations here.
He stated that he is still waiting on money owed to him from existing customers. Quoting is heavy, no great news at this time.
He did state that Gene is an incredible person and that he has high reguard for CTI.
Sorry I do not have more.
RJ
TR,
Prince George was abandoned due to finances years ago. I talked to the on site person (Randy?) in charge of the project at various times when it was alive and a couple times after. They found the KDS impressive as far as the quality of the product results, but there were doubts as to the financial sustainability long term due to through-put issues. Funding ran out and they could not get continued support. I do not believe the KDS set up is even there anymore?
If anything is being revisited at Prince George, I am not aware of it. Next time I talk to Brian I will ask him about it. I talked to him yesterday so I will wait a couple of weeks unless there is something important.
RJ
Net,
I am wondering if this designing, was part of the delay in Malaysia?
RJ
Net,
Brian got the capturing heat and drying plans as part of Malaysia's palm waste project. He sent it on to Gene. It seems that drying was initially an issue in Malaysia also.
RJ
Al,
You are absolutely appreciated here. You just need to accept that we all have different, diverse, and acceptable thoughts.
Hang around! Misery likes company!!!!!
RJ
PS. Don't forget the REM potential
Al,
Are you confusing optimism with cheerfulness? I like my FASC
wallpaper!
RJ
TR,
You are hard to sway from consistency. Just trying to take a mind break from all this FASC pressure!!
I am hoping for the best for all of us here, Brian, Adam, Al, Waite, you and many others, probably most of all the very patient, upbeat and good hearted Sam!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gotta go!
RJ
Waite,
"Why is "REM" where we will see the most success in FASC?"
You are way to cool! REM is the part of sleep "where dreams occur", and with eye lids closed, while dreaming, there is rapid eye movement happening! And you are correct it is called REM sleep. (in my dreams I see FASC $$$$$$)
and why is "Group think" our biggest hazard here?
..... according to my textbook: "Groupthink" occurs when people with in a group feel it is more important to maintain the group's cohesiveness than to consider the facts realistically.
This is why we need a variety of FASC thoughts here?
Just having fun while waiting for my paper sludge millions!
RJ
Tech,
I think it was two or three years ago when Adam was working on the through-put issues that he shared that with me. It has been a long and enduring project for Brian and Adam. I am glad they are
finally getting some success.
JR struck it rich with Oil, RJ struck it rich with paper sludge!
Waitedg,
Not that I am smart, but because I am a student learning new things, I ask;
Why is "REM" where we will see the most success in FASC?
and why is "Group think" our biggest hazard here?
I am very sure Sun knows the answers to these questions?
In fun while we wait,
RJ
Tech,
To Sam, all I can say is ...yes Sir!
RJ
Hi Tech,
Adam has told me in the past that he has spent a lot of time with
them working on it. I do not think easy is the best word!
If successful here there are 6 more plants. It would happen over time per Adam.
RJ
Al,
"Now is the pricing & financing amenable to producing sales??"
This is where I agree with you. I have talked to Brian about it and he disagrees due to overhead etc. etc.
I figure Brian is in charge and knows better than I. Hammering would just shut the door to communication. I hope he pulls us through.
As far as increased through-put, that also increases our value as long as it can be duplicated. Through-put changes cost structure also.
RJ
Net,
I am done for today, Got things to do.
Later,
RJ
Fasctrack,
I emailed Brian this morning and I just got off the phone with him.
The just of the Poland project is this; The project was centered around the KDS technology and program. The KDS-6 sale was just the first machine that was to be sold. The Government of Poland was investing with a utility company 10 mil dollars towards this Bio project and was to purchase its electricity for .11 KWH. Two things happened. 1st was that the Government decided to last minute change what they were willing to pay from the .11 to .05 making the project extremely unprofitable. The Government also wanted to get involved in the bidding process. Equipment could not be purchased outright but needed to be bid out to 3 qualified bidders at minimum.
After much work the utility decided to scrap the biomass project in its entirety. It sounds to me like the company CEO told Poland to shove it ....
A huge disappointment to Brian as he has been working on this for a very long time.
If Brian PR'd this project due to its huge effect it would have on FASC, what would shareholders think now. Brian says he has had so many disappointments he refuses to make public anything until it is installed and paid for.
He continues to work on projects and can never be sure which ones are going to come to reality based on a customers word alone.
It costs a lot of money to work with potential customers, samples, testing, trips, presentations etc. etc. etc.
Brian sounded a little more optimistic than he has in the last couple of months.
Two machines in inventory
RJ
Net,
I asked the same thing last week. He said he just got the unaudited work from the accountant but his attorney told him to wait until he can afford the audited work then post it.
You asked, I asked..... so we wait. I am not sure who is right but I will give the attorney the benefit of the doubt. I did get the attorneys name from Brian to confirm it, but then I decide not to call. All it would be is another bill to FASC.
Personally I believe Brian.
RJ
TR,
You just sounded like Brian!
Then he follows with the fact that that information eventually makes the 10Q's.
Brian never liked it that Cal would PR things that never came to be.
RJ
Hi Net,
I agree, I would love Brian to be more communicative to shareholders. His answer currently is "what would I say"?
All we can do is keep looking for DD, and I will share what I can get from Brian, but it is not much. I think he would rather PR good news than Bad, so maybe he is correct?
RJ
Net,
A week or so ago Brian (FASC) repeated his difficulty in getting paid for two machines that were built. Mainland was patiently waiting for their money. I thought I shared that here. It is my guess (thinking) that maybe the machine that was canceled was one of them?
I can ask Brian when I talk to him again.
RJ
Hi Charlie,
I think it was one that did not get paid for and is now canceled.
Maybe it can be retrofit for another sale?
RJ
Fasc,
I agree with you. However if we start getting multiple back to back sales as we were expecting this last year it is highly possible. I am not saying this will happen, but if financing becomes easier for biofuel projects along with more Government incentives then?
RJ
Fasctrack,
My guess is that if we got paid we would have gotten our 10Q. I am thinking that would be Brians way of sharing????
Just like the St. Malo project, plans are made, financing needs are greater than expected, then delays?
Just conjecture not facts,
RJ
PS. If and when we get paid for these couple of sales I would expect some understandably uncomfortable shareholders can decide whether it is time to go or not. I respect either decision.
Waite,
This is my last statement on the subject. I am not interested in reading about personal attacks. I am interested in DD about FASC
positive or negative.
just my opinion,
RJ
Waite,
Post was nothing about Sun. It was about people posting about people in leiu of posting DD about FASC.
It is funny that a post promoting talking about FASC DD information rather than people would get deleted.
Did you notice that the posts about people in leiu of FASC remain?
It goes to show,
RJ
Charlie,
It is my understanding that both had a deposit paid, one was sent, one sitting done waiting for the payment. I think Net may know more.
I do not know what the destination for the machines are/was.
Mainland Machinery is very patient with FASC. Brian and them are good friends. Mainland Machinery owner is a FASC shareholder. That I heard from Mainland themselves.
RJ
TR,
I just got off the phone with Brian. He said He talked to Simo
last week, Adam emailed him this week. They are wondering where the
deposit is. They will not let the machine go with out some if not
all the money.
Brian is paying the rent out of his own personal dollars, he will not pay the money for the financial audits until he gets money in
that is owed to him (FASC)
He is still quoting, I did not discuss price point, because he and
I did that a while ago, and I got a little to aggressive.
That is all I can share, and I hope it helps. For those who don't
like the fact that I visit with Brian. Put me on ignore or something.
There are two machines that FASC needs to get paid for. They never used to send out machines not paid for 100%. He did so to a couple of large companies thinking that he would have not problem getting paid. "not happening again"
I like Sam am going to be patient,
Still holdin'
RJ
PS. Clue for the Sleuths. Success will be found in REM
Net,
The KDS had dust issues that were solved. How-ever due to words
between the EPA inspector and Keith Poier, there became personality issues also. Then it was decided by the inspector that he
wanted a study done on the "emissions" (vapor from the drying process) before they can operate.
There may be other things I am not aware of.
RJ
Fasc,
The KDS allows the the mfg to make a denser pellet. How-ever from
my investigating a couple of years ago, it did not justify the higher start up cost per my inquiries. People are aware of the KDS.
I think the value of the KDS is Pathogen killing or powder burners. Both are niche markets. My understanding is that it does well as a dry grinder for algae following a pre-drying set up.
As Sam says....still holdin' and of course addicted.
RJ
Fasc,
I am also.
RJ
Waite,
My name is JR, I am an FASC Bagholder...Is it not like being an Alcoholic and once admitting to it, I can finally get help?
....but I do not want to be cured!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I sure hope I get my money worth of fun out of this! How do I say 80K without my wife listening!!!!!!!!!!!!
To late,
RJ
PS. I think she is going on the cruise with out me? (Royal Caribbean)
Hi Sam,
You are my favorite politician. You are honest and a FASC bag holder long. I tell my wife I cannot get out of FASC, Sam is still Holdin'!!!
JR
Hi Waite,
Let me help you out. You said; "thinking for a good message on my tombstone"
How about: Husband, Father, Brother, Son and Servant...and yes of course FASC Bag-holder and counselor.
I think that sums it up! personally I am thinking you will out live the time limits of Hospice... and if you disappoint me and do not, I promise I will not speak to you again! OK, for a while at least.
Wishing you well my friend,
RJ
PS. Al and Sun are pussy cats, my wife wants that cruise! I just tell her that "Sam is still holdin' " She asks "who's Sam?" I tell her a Las Vegas Politician, and an honest one too! She says "Oh, not successful huh?"
Sorry Sam
Sam,
You have a great attitude! I do not even know what to say. It must be the musician in you! and Waite!
RJ
PS. Back to work!!!!!!!! till FASC come through for me!!!!
