i wouldnt bank on the 22nd of feb. as some magic date. but i would expect something by the end of the quarter. if m2gen gets the go ahead. it might be a few weeks/months before partners and contracts are released. I am pretty sure that whatever companies are involved, besides moffit and merck, already have agreements on the table. But for official public release may take a little time. I just hope that DNAG has a seat at the table. and from all the contacts, connections, what dnag has to offer, all looks real promising. and there is no debating or arguing that.
heres the letter

RE: Shareholder Update
Dear Shareholder:
You have great reason to feel very good today! I am writing this letter to you absolutely full of exuberance over the current position of our company. Despite the many horrendous setbacks we have weathered over the past year (which we have detailed enclosed DVD), we are truly poised to begin rebuilding and in fact establishing ourselves as one of the dominant players in the energy drink category.
The DVD we have enclosed will explain our many trials and tribulations in great detail. As I say in the very beginning of the DVD, no matter what the explanations and or excuses, the bottom line is the performance has been deplorable and in my own opinion unacceptable and despite all the understandable reasons why, it still happened on my watch and I take full responsibility. I have built several very successful companies in the past and none have went through quit the same level of devastating setbacks nor did any of them have the unlimited potential of DC Brands International. I tell you this today, with the great team I have working with me, the new strategy and product line extension, and our resolve to succeed, we will do it again. Personally and professionally, this is a challenge and I intend to emerge victorious.
If you still have interest and belief in our company, I ask that you watch the DVD in its entirety. We have included a bag of popcorn to help the time go by. The purpose of the video is to help you better understand how we got to where we are today. Like it or not, it is full of the facts. The bad news of the past is covered and I intend on it being the last time I need to report such news. Our future is VERY bright!
Our Dickens Energy Cider is regaining momentum in leaps and bounds. After the enormous recall due to faulty manufacturing and then the national campaign against risqué brands, we have repositioned the Dickens brand primarily to exist in the on-premise market (bars and nightclubs) and liquor stores where risqué brands like ours thrive. Dickens has not been completely pulled from retail and many individually owned C-stores and the like continue to champion our brand. But the fact is that Dickens Energy Cider is not going into Wal-Mart, Target, 7-11 or any of the other mainstream chains. This is purely a political correctness side effect; yet one only a fool would not heed.
Understanding the enormous cult-like following of our Dickens Brand, we have been pursuing some very creative/alternative means of distribution over the past several months with the intent of reaching more of our core constituency without the soccer mom problems associated with traditional retail. After lengthy negotiations, we are extremely proud to announce today that we have signed an agreement with one of the largest catering companies throughout all of California and Nevada. This company operates and services some 9,800+ "Roach Coach’s" which make dozens of stops each at construction sites and the like per day.
This is a much targeted and highly captive audience. I will not divulge the numbers we are projecting in detail. However, I will provide some simple math. Each time all 9,800 trucks take out just one case of our Dickens Cider, it equals 6.4 containers (tractor trailers full) of our product at some $30,000 per container. Is that number to be per day, week or month? We will begin to find out about the same time you read this update and view the enclosed DVD, as their first trailer loads are leaving the week of February 5th. We are happy to announce this great account and it means more than 235,000 cans per inventory turn being consumed on each order in those two states alone.
Next our Dickens Energy Bag-In-Box/On-The-Gun product is hitting its stride. The fun playful nature of this product combined with the massive savings for the bar owner are simply too much for them to pass up. To help us grow the bar business across the country, we are again proud to announce that we have signed and exclusive agreement with the National Amateur Poker Tournament. (Learn more at www.amseriespoker.com.) This exciting relationship gets us guaranteed product in approximately 100 bars per city in hundreds of cities across the nation as they roll out in the months ahead. Here locally, it has translated to some 40+ new establishments in the first week alone. Once on the gun at the bar, we enjoy the reorders month after month. Our Dickens Girl logo is in the center of every poker table, the cards they play with are Dickens cards, prizes are Dickens shirts hats and the like, the girls at each bar are dressed as the Dickens Girl, and we will be doing a joint calendar together. We are very happy to announce this relationship and expect great things to come of it over the next year.
By establishing these relationships with bars across the country, we are setting the ground work for our long anticipated Hard Dickens Cider. In the past, I told you it was coming and we simply could not make that happen with the turmoil we were working through. In the DVD you have received, our own Jeremy Alcamo will explain the status in great detail. Rest assured it is coming although most likely not until late summer early fall as a soft launch. By that time, we plan to have several thousand built-in homes (bars) for this product. Next year we are planning a full launch of the Hard Dickens Cider in which it will become the 2008 sponsor or the National Amateur Poker Tour.
Perhaps even more importantly, by that time our "All New" fantastic NASCAR themed product, Turn Left, will be working its way onto store shelves across the country. We are very proud to tell you that after a few months of hard work, we expect our first national major chain to be stocking product in some 1,400+ stores by March. I personally spent three days skiing with our Rep for their chain two weeks ago and we are down to rolling out the details. We will announce the name only after product is on their shelves. At which time, we would strongly encourage all of you to run out and buy at least a case to support our team.
Our new NASCAR ticket giveaway is being met with enormous success everywhere the product goes. We invite you to go to our all new website at www.TurnLeftEnergy.com. This site serves as the catalyst for our promotions and is being very well received by retailers. The great taste and striking packaging for Turn Left are real attention getters. However, it is the fact that we have adopted our new aggressive PRICE POINT LEADER philosophy that is kicking open doors. Rest assured, we are working very diligently on many major accounts.
Our current active list with some basic "what if projections" has been included for your review. It is normally anywhere from 3-6 months after you first provide product samples to a major account before you receive a "yes or no" and that depends heavily on their internal product cycle and when they are resetting their coolers or shelves. All of this is planned out months in advance; just as in the clothing industry when fall clothes are bought in the spring and spring in the fall. With respect to the list of accounts you have received, we have four responses that have stated that they are not bringing on new products until the second quarter. The rest remain active and we are in regular and various stages of communications. The great news is no less than 4 of them should be stocking product very soon.
All of this should be welcomed as fantastic news! Speaking of news, as you know in the past, we provided periodic update in the form of our Dickens Cider Insider. We have made a firm commitment to begin providing that same information to our shareholders on a quarterly basis under the new name DC NEWS, beginning the end of Q1 07. This publication will include the same type of news as before but go much further in providing actual numbers and results. I will say again as I have many times in the past, we will not telegraph our moves as we may have done in the past, but rather only report on what is historical fact. This will be a free online publication and printed versions will be available on a subscription basis. We are committed to turning every aspect of this company around and we ask you for your continued support.
That brings me to the last and very important part of this letter. With all of the changes that are taking place and the hard choices that had to be made to make all of this happen, now is the time to take the necessary steps to correct the problem with the stock itself. That is quite frankly the fact that there is simply too much of it.
Although the expected enormous surge in revenue we are expecting will be the most important factor with respect to stock price, there are corrections that must be made if we wish to maximize the stocks VALUE! For good or for bad it is what it is; although approximate numbers, there are currently some 300 million shares with about 15% or 45 million in the float. That is not a workable scenario for a company expecting the type of growth we are in the next 12-36 months.
Within a few weeks of receiving this, you will be receiving a copy of our annual shareholders meeting and you will have the opportunity to vote on several issues; the most important of which I believe is our proposed 25 – x -1 reverse in the current number of shares. If we really want to grow up and have a shot at the big time so to speak, this simply must happen. Today, far too many day traders and brokerage houses have accumulated large blocks of float and they are keeping us "in our opinion" artificially depressed.
The effects of the reveres are the same for everyone, myself included, and mathematically it makes no difference whatsoever. However strategically it makes an enormous difference. It will mean that the float, which is what is affecting the stock price, will go from the current 45,000,000 or so to less than 1,800,000. Again, this is a much more manageable number.
For each of you personally, it comes down to this. If you had 1,000 shares today worth just $.03 (three cents), after the reverse is completed you will have just 40 shares but each will be worth $.75 (seventy-five cents). The value is exactly the same, but it makes the numbers much more manageable, and it makes it harder for the people who do not care at all about the company to (artificially control or manipulate the stock price) by playing their day trader games. Ladies and gentlemen, this must happen so we can begin to create the type of value in the stock this company is poised to command.
I will tell you that we fully expect that some shareholders may try to jump ship upon this happening and you may see a quick drop of ten, twenty even thirty cents as the people we REALLY want to get out decide to jump ship. These are penny traders that will sell every time we see a one or two cents gain. It is a different game when the value is much higher. Personally and professionally I say good riddance, let them go!
I believe the HARD FACTUAL news we will begin to release starting with the first issue of the DC News will prompt many of the shareholders to open their eyes and realize what we now have going on and decide to buy more shares. You may see an immediate bump in the stock price. We have no way of knowing that in the short term. But I do know what we have laid the ground work for doing in the next few months and those efforts are paying off. This will eventually be reflected in the stock price.
We want to hold back some of the best news until then so we can shake out the true believers. It should be stated that this will happen. We need only a simple majority vote and I alone can cast that. Additionally, I enjoy the support of another 25% or so of closely held shareholders so this will happen.
We just want you to feel like you are a part of something great and to let you know we have learned from all of the lessons of the past and that we are making the necessary changes as well as the hard decisions. We are doing what must be done to become a leader in our industry and create serious and substantial value for our shareholders.
I would like to reiterate that we are supremely confident in our current position and really can’t wait to be able to share more of the great news with all of you. We ask those of you who understand what we have gone through in the last 12-18 months and who can appreciate the fact that we came through stronger and better may realize its only been 12-18 months! Just watch what we do in the next 12-18 months!
And lastly, to those very few but very vocal critics that constantly badmouth us, call for our premature demise and predicted we could not come back as we are and who offer nothing constructive, but rather only act like spoiled children who lost their toy, I would just like to say in language they can understand…
NA NA NA NA NA! We were right and you were wrong!
Respectfully,
Richard J. Pearce

PS: HANG ON!
whats up with thursday
quite frankly i dont care who owns what. I know what i have and right now its in the green. This quote from the m2gen plan seems to be right up Dnags alley and Dnag will most likely wind up being neighbors with m2gen. and i know from t.v. that most neighbors devolop hot nasty steamy affairs. so i find it hard to believe that they will not be somewhat involved. even in a small way, which would be a huge thing for these guys. possibly in the diagnostic department.
"The database will likely lead to a multitude of diagnostic and treatment products for decades to come, said consultant Joseph Simone, who advised Moffitt in the early stages of discussion four years ago."
you all read that crap, they were talkin about this years ago while dnag and moffit were together during their contract!!!
i cant wait for some hot steamy m2gen on dnag sexual relations
smokin,
my impression was that they left goat weed out of turn left to appeal to the more mainstream retailers. Turn left tastes pretty much just like dickens, minus the goat weed. it appears that in next month or two there is gonna be a pretty good stream of prs idicating what they have been upto and then finally a pr announcing the RS. I am planning to watch and see what happens.
Thanks virg

who was it that worked for merck and now works for Dnag
Just my opinion
Merck or big pharma as i like to think of them. dont really have a great image with the people. they are known as money hungery drug pushers. Being sued for their products hurting people. now dnag is just a little company compared to merck but wouldnt it look good for merck and moffit via m2gen to be partnered with a company that has put out good prs helping murder victims and rape victims. helping people identify their ancestory. Good PR, not fluff. there is a difference.
Potential!!
Moffitt finalizes growth plan for on-campus buildout as cases increase
Tampa Bay Business Journal - February 2, 2007by Margie ManningSenior staff writer
TAMPA -- The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute expects to break ground in June or July on an $87 million, 110,000-square-foot expansion on the University of South Florida campus.
The expansion, just south of existing Moffitt facilities at USF, is a scaled-down version of a master plan conceived in 2005 and will be the last new facility Moffitt expects to build on the USF grounds.
"Both the university and Moffitt have grown so much it has put land at a premium on campus," said Braulio Vicente, Moffitt's VP for facilities and support service. "The best thing was to look off-site for growth opportunities and reduce the size of the project on campus."
New Moffitt operations will be built in other parts of Hillsborough County, including facilities for M2GEN, the proposed partnership between Moffitt and Merck & Co. (NYSE: MRK) Moffitt also plans to develop a satellite campus in Hillsborough County that would house research and outpatient activities. Moffitt is still evaluating potential sites for both M2GEN and the satellite campus, Vicente said.
Going off campus does not threaten Moffitt's current 1.5 million square feet of operations at USF, including its hospital, outpatient clinics and research operations, Vicente said. "We'll always have a presence here on campus," he said.
Cancer cases on the rise
Many cancer centers nationally are expanding both clinical and research facilities, said Linda Weiss, chief of the cancer centers branch at the National Cancer Institute.
A greater focus on translational research -- or "translating" basic research into real therapies for patients -- is driving the expansions, she said. Cancer centers are trying to bring investigators scattered around a campus together so they can interact with each other, a process that drives effective translation.
"A cancer center has to be on the cutting edge and I think some of them are realizing that while there may be no [NCI] requirements in terms of new buildings, those buildings in fact help to bring researchers together and foster that interdisciplinary research," Weiss said.
Moffitt, the only facility in Florida designated a comprehensive cancer center by the National Cancer Institute, has been practicing that model for years, and other cancer centers nationally are just catching up what Moffitt has been doing, Vicente said.
In Moffitt's case, expansion is driven more by the incidence of cancer in Florida.
There will be an estimated 106,560 new cancer cases in Florida in 2007, compared to 98,960 new cancer cases in the state in 2006, according to the American Cancer Society. The group also estimated 40,430 people would die from cancer in 2007 in Florida, compared to 39,930 cancer deaths in the state in 2006.
"People are seeking out care they might not find in their communities," Vicente said. "We have been able to attract both clinical and research faculty that want to be part of what Moffitt is trying to build, to be a leading NCI-designated cancer center."
With that comes increased patient volume. In the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2005, Moffitt had 14,634 new patients, a 6.2 percent increase from the prior year. New patient volume has doubled over 10 years. Moffitt needs facilities to properly serve new patients, Vicente said.
Faculty offices, parking added
Moffitt's south expansion, which was scheduled for consideration Feb. 1 by the USF Board of Trustees Workgroup on Academics and Campus Environment, will include 40,000 square feet for faculty offices, 9,500 square feet for clinical lab and pathology functions, and 8,500 square feet for the radiation oncology clinic and its two linear accelerators. A 32,000-square-foot, two-floor addition will be built over the existing cancer center to provide 40 new inpatient beds. The plan also calls for a 1,000-car, eight-level, 346,000-square-foot parking garage.
Skanska and Gresham Smith and Partners are handling the design-build project at a $65 million cost for construction and design fees and a total project cost of $87 million, Vicente said. Construction is expected to take 20 months.
Funding will come from Moffitt resources, according to information provided to trustees.
The south expansion follows Moffitt's newly completed west expansion on the USF campus, a 90,000-square-foot addition for outpatient clinics that cost $22.5 million.
Moffitt has been working with a consultant in its search for land off the USF campus. The institution favors sites would be no more than 30 minutes driving time from USF during rush hour.
Although no specific site for M2GEN has been selected, Vicente said officials with Hillsborough County, which is providing $20 million in funding for the partnership, have discussed a site off North McKinley Drive, one-quarter mile south of East Fowler Avenue. It's just north and adjacent to the former Ball Corp. aluminum can manufacturing plant, a 28-acre site that Houston-based Hanover Co. has bought for a 464-unit upscale apartment complex.
turn left site looks good. definetly worth a hold. lets see if they call sell the stuff.
plans began for m2gen in 2005. during dnag and moffit joint venture.

flipped it a couple of times on some small spikes. took most of my original investment out and have a nice little chunk of stock. Still think this thing has potential. just hope it doesnt get eaten alive by the RS. and just maybe they will apply to move off the pinks by the end of the year.
something is definetly up with the website and it is starting to really piss me off
i knew of a company that made a similar product, actually called it ecoboard. plastic lumbar. small private company. however the point of this post is to expand upon possible products for these guys
1) there is the potential for outdoor decking, we already know that. but dont forget that anything outdoors made of wood could be replaced by longer lasting plastic based product. Chairs, Tables, gazebos, outdoor bars, etc.
2) Swingsets and playgrounds for schools parks etc. many of these are made of wood and metal. easily replaced with ekoboard
3) navy and harbor contracts wood piers and supports.
4) Housing materials, shingles and siding
whats another two months holding this thing. played a couple nice spikes and have nice little chunk of stock for this thing. I always did look at it as a long though.
kota
mostly the same info that we already know. welcomed the new vp and what he brings to the table. Mentions three new products and divisions commerical, industrial, retail. should be iteresting stuff the next couple of months.
Good luck all

Smoking,
where did you get that picture of the chicks and the car? It has to be pretty recent since it is the updated dickens girl.
crackcorn, i agree with you
in my mind dick and co has 3-4 months to show me something worth hanging onto. watched and held for two years all empty promises and failures. I never bought the whole thing about investors calling the Dist. which led to them canceling blah blah blah. I never called a dist. But hey you never know. this thing has tremendous upside on taste and name alone. I originally thought a monkey could sell this crap, and it actually tastes good to boot. Now I dont know what to think. waitn and see. hope i have something left to sell or a legit company to invest in come spring time. just hope they dont flood the market with shares following the RS
These deals do seem a little unique though, roach coach, poker, and a possible nat. dist.
The roach coach may be blow alittle out of proportion. AS far as i know those things are indepently owned. They buy product from a wharehouse then go around selling it to designated sites. They may be a little reluctant to take on a new product. then again it is a defint demographic that buy based on can image and name. Blue collar workers.
I think its best to sit back and wait till the end of the quarter on this one. Dick says in his letter he is gonna release hard factual info in the first installment of DC news at end of first quarter. That is from his shareholder letter. I wouldnt expect much until then. If their deals materialize in the next two months. Roach coach supply a steady income, am poker tour can generate alot bar contracts for on the gun product and good base for the eventual release of hard cider. Curious to see who picked up the TL as a national dist. I dont think we will hear anything for a month or two. Iam gonna sit on my shares and maybe buy more after the RS
could be the best thing this company has done in a couple of years.
Look at what happened to siri and howards stern lawyer/pr guy, he went out and bought a bunch of stock after howard signed the deal to move to sat. radio and before any official news was released to the public about the signing. hence insider trading. he got sued and fined for the move.
these guys are doctors their not stupid. if anything is brewing, and a deal is to be had, or has already been signed. who knows what is going inside those companies right now. The potential is Huge!!!!
and am sure that dnag will give some stock options to people involved in the deal so everyone is happy. they are not going to go on the open market and buy like us.
Dnag is undervalued even without the M2Gen deal
10$ million biofrontera
awesome pipeline
3$ mill yr. genetics testing
With possible deal with m2gen, god everyday feels like christmas!!
Spring time is gonna be fun thank god the groundhog saw his shadow and sping is comin early
Good luck all
i have problems only when the www. was not infront of the address. who the hell knows
the investors weblog has been active so the site must be active
make sure the wwww. is in front of dickensenergycider.com

yeah i reread the pr release and agree with you. i thought someone on the blog or somewhere else said it was gonna be in the jan issue. no big deal, the other stuff is more important anyway
anytime GE is mentioned alongside with dnag i am a happy camper
what ever happened to the artilce on statinome that was supposed to be in journal of pharmacogenetics and genomics?
yeah i am long with these guys, i have averaged down, made a little money durin the spike middle of last year when it shot upto around .80. I like the products, sittin on a nice position with only a little loss. Lets see what happens.
products are to good for this thing. good news with ron out of picture. what was his official title with company? he didnt sit on the board right? i was under the impression he was merely an investor/funder pr kinda of guy. no real connection to everyday activity for the company
good news for pecb?! right
undervalued company
do the math, with their stake in biofrontera worth 9-10 million and their being i think 1.5 billion shares of this company. the price per stock could easily be valued at .0067 if they did nothing else. plus their products, services, pipeline, and all the recent crap about merck and moffit
undervalued and worth the risk!
as far as i know, according the last PR, Yaacoff is expanding without any dilution of the shares. which is a great thing for all longs. Is it possible they have been treadin along for a couple years establishing networks and distribution and are now ready to bust out with major multi national deals. I am long with company, gonna give it 2007 to show we some solid gain. If they dont report appr 20mill units moved by the end of the year then i will rethink. good luck all longs, could be a fun ride in 07. Here we Go
here we go
yup that whats i have heard about the product. i found the company just browsing through different sectors. a girlfriend of mines cat died from the feline urinary disease cost her a fortune in bills. I dont even like cats but the products caught my eye. bought a few bags gave it other friends with cats and they say the same things about how good the products are. Not readily available in upstate ny though. I got excited about this company and thier other prodcuts fat free stuff. when i saw the fda approved weight loss pills for dogs. This country is really going down the crapper when the FDA is approving dog meds for obseity. but hey someones gonna make money at least. product lines look, lets see if they can move them and straighten their crap out.
Holding steady here
i am sure i missed something, but i havent seen much released from merck regarding this M2GEN. being kept hush hush before official news released. Just local news regarding money and possible jobs and tax issues.
Dnag has potential
good work
lets see what happens with this thing.
for those viewing this blog. lets hear about product availibility in your area. Are the products relatively easy to find. i have ordered some online recieved them in a timely manner. but they arent in my area, uspstate ny
good luck
Any news recently
has anybody been in contact with the company?
fatboy
look at what caused those spikes, nothing of the magnitude of where we might be at today. followed company for only two years. was hurt by the r/s. but anything over .009 iam in the green with the company. there are only a few pinkies and b boards in my portfolio. obviously speculation and desire to make a fortune the good old american dream. I have only gotten active on this board cause i am excited with the recent exposure for the company and the definite potential for this thing really take off. if daytraders drive this thing back down, i may add a significant chunk to dnag, well worth risk in my mind. iam actually more stoked that the company has been quiet through all this merck/moffit crap. in my opinion no news is good news.
Go DNAG
This thing will bounce between .01 to .02 on account of speculation and day traders
Dnag has been relatively quiet for a long, maybe working on something big and doesnt have time to post PR
Look out for this thing to skyrocket if they announce any new news in the next few weeks or if the moffit/merck deal gets the ok
sit back and enjoy
if volume continues tomorrow, and we see another small jump up. then something is brewing.
