lodas...
It is good to see the base line support that COOP's pps holds. The MM's try hard to shake the tree, but with no luck. Everyone is holding. MM's basically playing patty cake till COOP drops news.
Still need 10x the volume though
GLTA
no 75/25 to the end?
the "special dividend" will be allocated on the basis of the type of ownership you had before reorganization.
You are forgiven
I'm listening and asking questions. Part of posting a theory is defending it.
I am genuinely curious how assets in a Global Settlement Agreement deemed "Law of the land" in WMI's CH11, were tranfered in 2017, before BK was closed?

They do not want to listen to the truth Thanks for your dd you truly care for the SH They may want to steal them on the way. Hoping for F&R
Maybe a more direct question is neccessary.
How were assets of the Global Stettlement transfered in 2017?
Where does the GSA fit in this?
My assumption was all assets were liquidated or serviced by JPM
How do all assets transfer to WMIH in 2017, but are still not be disclosed 2+ years later?
It also states that all assets need to be transferred to the Target Company. In this case the Target Company is WMIH, as described in my earlier post. This has happened IMO after the liquidation of Merger Sub WMIIC in 2017.
There really isn't a response to this. Best of luck to you BBANBOB. It is what it is.

Franklin I will answer your question WITH a question if that is alright
Can you tell me HOW COULD BOTH APPLE exist and BLACKBERRY exist at the same time????????
All I'm saying is how can WMIH Corp. and WMI exist at the same time?
We are COOP. No longer WMI.
lodas.. I'm not jumping in and out or aquiring more. Simple watching what happens to my reorganized shares. Time is ticking for me to stay long though. We truly need answers, concrete finacial info from COOP.
If one truly believes that WMI still exist, without any SEC accounting, then you should understand, without said accounting, your returns are gone.
This is crazy talk.
COOP still can't generate any volume. Not good for pps near term. IMO
Traders who jumped in at 13.50 will lose patience.
I'm sure this is still just churn and aggetate to shake the tree.
Probably more because the conversation has gone off the rails. Really isn't much else to say.

Thanks BB. Is Chad or Doreen incentivized to pushed this to the next phase? As I recall they are both drawing a cushy salary. Playing the devil's advocate here...Why would they not just take this slow and continue collecting their salary?
Jay Bray serves as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mr. Cooper Group.

Who is currently in charge of reorganized WMI?
fat fingers and typing on a phone.
I've seen well written post too
One positive..
The share price appears to be headed up.
Neutral is good. I got extremely discouraged @ the "termination" of bk with no news from COOP.
Then I circle back to $1.9B for WAMU...yeah right
I'm willing to give COOP "some" time to sort out the cash.
lodas...I like that your optimisim has grown in a week!
(just a casual friday ribbing)

danti......there will be no increase in the stock price above 12.50 for quite some time
Level II?
ABS-Certs distribute when?
Thanks. WAMU was a household name, and it still boils my blood the events that unfolded in 2008.
Is the current corp. structured (jay bray) to take WMIH to WMI stature?
Or is it merely a means to an end.
Thanks AZ.. overdue
COOP breaking $13.50 would be awesome!
We need volume though..
GLTA
COOP after hours trades (200 shares) yesterday, at $12.48
Interesting. The games they play.
GLTA
lodas..I understand what you are saying. The chart I look at shows optimism in the fact the MMs were willing to let it run above $13 and stay atop MAs.
I think we both agree we are at the mercy of the makers. They rule the roost. We sneak in and out hoping for some scraps.
best of luck
T minus 3..2..1..
till justicewillwin and claytrader show up. lol
Actually a close above $12.91 is all we needed. We are above the 25 and 50 day moving averages now. Thats refreshing.
The MMs can control the price with low volume. Once the volume comes (day traders) they lose their control.
IMO
Technical trading. The MMs have been doing their best to ward off day traders. This close just sent a big flag out to the trading world. That is why the volume jumped after it crossed $12.90
Just my opinion. At the end of the day, the MMs rule.
Really need the volume and will welcome the traders.
The fact they let COOP close @ $12.99 is very incouraging.
Could be an interesting day tomorrow. GLTA
MMs losing their grip. Now lets see some volume.
COOP above $12.90
Lets go!
GLTA
Key word is NOW.
This Trust the FDIC stole, is set asside for legacy WMI Ps and Qs.
What bank could accept MORE than the principal due on a mortgage, and walk away? (not including interest owed)
What is owed at this point though?
My interpretation is that P's are like a mortgage. They just need to be paid off.
Where does POR7 tell the subsidiaries what to do with their money?
WMI didn't own anything.
How can the Federal Government tell a Trust what to do if that trust doesn't owe the Federal Government?
In fact, the FDIC essentially stole a Trust. Deleware BK slapped their hand.
Why do 60% of Fortune500 companies choose to incorporate in the same state?
Just a coincidence they pick Deleware?
To be clear my opinion of the 75/25
squabbling over what is in the empty cup.
Thanks! 11 years of material

FranklinC...... very clever...you should take up fiction writing.....Lodas
Further more.. (I just can't quit you WAMU)
This is how I see the subs.. as a Trust Fund.
Think of WMI as a trust fund kid, living on the streets. Lets call this kid WAMUQ. He blows his quarterly payments on smack. You can sue WAMUQ for all he's worth, which is only a few bucks in his cup. The second WAMUQ gets out of court, those beneficiary "participation" payments resume. Because the Trust Fund is untouchable.
WMI wasn't blowing the payments on smack but, the Trust is untouchable.
The silence is deafening. And a bit scary.
I get that. POR7 doesn't govern the subs though.
The subsidiaries basically said "we will throw just enough in the bank, see ya on the flip side of bk."
