Exactly, I'm buying as much as I can right now.

I got a pretty detailed reply from Todd McKnight:
"We all want the GAAP audit completed ASAP and we understand that perception is important. CBD of Denver is an M&A based approach, so bringing an acquired company into an entity and merging two books takes time, depending upon how far back audits were kept and to what standard. While this has been an ongoing process to satisfy US public market GAAP, quarterly audits have been filed under GAAP and on time to keep the company in compliance with the OTC. This is based on current revenue streams under CBD of Denver's control, not based on who managed the acquired company in the past, which was out of CBD of Denver's management's control. This fusion of accounting from old into new entity can be complicated, lengthy and expensive. Fortunately, Marcel and his team have made this a top priority and have been overly transparent, by sharing this process with the public and keeping shareholders in the loop based on the auditors estimates to complete this process. We are not happy that estimates were clearly off and behind schedule and is the five months you speak to but that is far different from quarterly, ongoing GAAP filings, which have been on time. Marcel has pushed the auditor as much as possible and will continue as part of CBDD's strategy to up-list to a more senior exchange than the OTC pink sheets. This will open many doors to funds and investors that don't or can't participate in the pink sheet stocks.
When the MORE Act passed in the House in Dec, CBDD and many other cannabis stocks had their strongest run. Although this is a committee vote and not a full House vote it is still another step forward.
Italian legalization referendum is expected to pass. European reform is happening everywhere. Mexican legalization legislation is expected in the next few months. Banking reform will be voted on in less than a month. Cannabis sales are at all time highs (global sales are up 40% this year). Although flatlined for 7 months, the cannabis sector's faint pulse can now be heard and is getting louder and louder.
The banking reform is approved as part of the National Defense Authorization Act. Good job by Rep. Perlmutter from Colorado. You have to love that kind of initiative! He got tired of waiting (his SAFE Banking ACT has been introduced 5 times) and got it added to an act that always gets approved every year.
However, it isn't over yet. Although amendments rarely get removed from the Act, it is possible Senator Chuck Schumer could remove it so it doesn't compete with his bill. If he does that, he will have a shit storm rain down on him from the entire cannabis industry. A better move for Schumer would be for him to introduce his bill before the final vote on the NDAA in October. Either way, this should give the cannabis sector a faint pulse. It will be interesting to see what happens.
Back to the subject of cannabis, Senator Chuck Schumer sent a tweet last week saying he is working on his cannabis bill. I don't think he will wait until next year to introduce it. That doesn't make any sense. His bill is part of the social justice promises made by the Biden campaign that helped get him elected. Why would he wait an entire year to introduce it?
Otherwise, we could have a micro catalyst coming up tomorrow when the National Defense Authorization Act amendments will be voted on. Rep. Perlmutter is trying to bypass the Washington gridlock by adding his SAFE Banking Act to it. It is a bipartisan slam dunk that always get approved.
Those are the best ones I could find.
Why did the doctor tell the dying woman she would live longer if she became an accountant? Because accountants take forever to do anything.
How many accountants does it take to change a lightbulb? How much money do you have?
Why was the accountant so happy after finishing his puzzle after 59 weeks? Because on the box it said 8-12 years.
Why should you never tell a joke to two accountants who are together? Because they will force you to tell the joke twice and charge you for their time.
Also, Italy is legalizing home growing cannabis.
You're right, this CEO has done an amazing job in 19 months. I won't bet against him.
I won't bet against Senator Chuck Schumer either. He is one of the most senior, powerful and determined politicians in Washington. Every industry would kill to have him lead their fight. I believe he will get his bill passed. It is a win win win for everyone, and the Republicans will come around and see that soon, and vote for it. When that happens, not even big pharma will be able to stop the cannabis industry.
Swiss and European reform is happening, and Mexico has already voted down prohibition. I don't know why some people keep pouting and crying. We are on our way to the promised land.
Exactly. Big pharma started out with good intentions and were actually helping people. Now it's all about profits for them and they are doing more harm than good. They are trying to get every person on the planet hooked on their drugs. Look at what opioids did, it ruined millions of lives. Cannabis is the perfect replacement for opioids and other drugs. Big pharma needs to wake up and embrace cannabis instead of fighting it. With cannabis, big pharma can start doing good again.
It makes sense that big pharma, and their share of big money, is trying to suppress cannabis. It explains why the entire cannabis sector has crashed despite being one of the fastest growing industries in the world with sales at all time highs. Even cannabis companies that are doing very well like CBDD and TLRY continue to crash.
The authorities need to do something about this illegal activity. Better yet, big pharma needs to join cannabis and stop fighting it. If they can't beat it, they should join it. If they don't, another big industry will. The revenues are much too big for any industry to ignore.
Good article. It's good to see that Switzerland will soon lead the world in cannabis reform.
CBDD has been reporting orders in the tons for a fairly long time now. Where else would they get that much product other than big farms?
It's a mess in the Gulf and they need help. We all know those people who spend countless hours, and dollars, on their camping trips. We need to urge them to put off their camping trips and donate their camping equipment (including generators). We also need to urge them to stay off the roads (unless they are donating goods) so essential personnel can get around quickly.
After being hammered by the drop in the entire cannabis sector for 7 long months, it's good so see CBDD go up again.
It makes it easier to help others. My family and I have given to the Red Cross and other worthy causes for decades. I support a volunteer group helping the residents of Louisiana right now. Also, every person and very group I know is doing what they can to help.
What have I been saying all along? The major drop in the entire sector is to blame for the drop in CBDD's stock price, not the late audit.
The audits are done! Why isn't the stock price up? I thought the late audit was the reason for the price drop. I thought the CEO screwed the shareholders. I thought the audits were never going to be released. Some people are eating a lot of crow today.
And I thought no one could be crazier than my ex-wife!
You might think so, but the CEO of CBDD is not responsible for the drop in the cannabis sector over the last 7 months. The drop in the entire cannabis sector is much more responsible for the drop in CBDD's stock price than the late audit.
The next thing we know he will insist there is a conspiracy to cover up the existence of Big Foot.
You're right. This is the home of the big money hedge funds and the market makers (and low life trolls) that they control. They not only pulled out of the cannabis sector but are now shorting it.
We can call them names but there isn't much else we can do about it. We just have to take the pain. I'm married, that is long term eternal pain. So a little short term pain doesn't bother me at all.
I think you're moving into the realm of conspiracy theory just a little, but I would never count anything out. I think my theory, widely reported fact actually, about big money completely vacating the cannabis sector is more accurate. Senator Chuck Schumer is really the one to blame more than anyone else at this point. In February, he came out with big talk and huge promises about his "MEGA" legalization bill, and big money flooded into the cannabis sector. Once it became evident that he did not have the votes in congress to pass his bill, the big money poured out of the cannabis sector. There is a little more to it, but that's basically it. People are looking for all kinds of complicated explanations, but it's not much more than that.
Just like the military left Afghanistan, big money left the cannabis sector and we are getting slaughtered because of it.
If anyone doesn't believe me, just look at other cannabis stocks. Tilray for example is doing lots of great things with great earnings and steady growth but it keeps crashing.
As I've said many times, people need to look at the bigger picture. This is the perfect storm of misjudgement on the part of Senator Chuck Schumer and CBDD's CEO. Senator Schumer made some big statements about his mega legalization bill back in February and the big money flooded into the cannabis sector, and it has turned out that it does not have the votes to pass at this time. This has resulted in big money completely vacating the cannabis sector. Of course, Marcel's misjudgement about the timing of his audit hasn't helped matters either.
This is 90% of what is happening, but it can change overnight. Keep that in mind.
Easy buddy. You are overreacting just a little. Take some deep breaths.
I agree. It's more good news. The company is doing exactly what it is supposed to do, grow, grow, grow.
All of your points today are right on the money. It's almost exactly what I've been saying for many months now. Unfortunately, the criers and liars won't listen, but then we all know what their real agenda is.
I always get an immediate response from Marcel. Use this address, marcel@cbdofdenver.com.
How is that? Because the audit is late? That's your hard evidence? What are you smoking?
The audit is late, that's it. It happens. You and a few others are the ones trying to blow this out of proportion with words like scammer, fishy and liar. The CEO has addressed why the audit is late and he has addressed dilution, yet you guys choose to ignore that and choose to cry, cry, cry.
You guys also choose to ignore what is happening with the entire cannabis sector. All cannabis stocks are down regardless of how well they are doing. Have you not noticed that?
Good point. CBDD has been held down artificially for years. I'm willing to give the MMs the benefit of the doubt and assume they did it because they want confirmation that this company is legit because it is doing so incredibly well. However, once the audit is released and CBDD is confirmed to be legit beyond any doubt, they better let this stock run as high as it wants to go (at least .10 IMO).
GGII hit .11 just a couple of months ago.
Also, CBDD is continuing the tradition of top quality Swiss products by producing top quality cannabis. This will put even more eyes on CBDD.
Yes, CBDD is positioning itself very well as one of top producers in Switzerland and expanding throughout Europe. More and more eyes will be on CBDD as the big cannabis companies continue to move into Europe.
The big cannabis companies are targeting Europe as much as, or more than, the US.
Curaleaf CEO states that the European cannabis market is twice the size of the US market, in a recent Yahoo Finance interview.
Good points. The cannabis industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world and earnings are at all time highs, even without any legislation from Washington.
