We can only hope.
I'd love a $200M acquisition...they could add everything to their pipeline. Let me out at $0.50? Hell yeah!
Please Leo! Get us out of this mess!
I would be voting Yes. If the vote fails the company fails and the stock goes to zero.
If there is anything legit in the pipeline it needs funding. If not, one last Ehrlich pump is our best chance of getting out of this above a nickel.
It drops regardless. I'm sure he's hard at work trying to secure an all time record buyout of $3.00/share.
How we scoffed at Ocata for bowing down to the shorts and taking that $3 buyout...if we only knew what was in store for us.
Sunk cost fallacy and FOMO.
I'm suffering the same with about 400K shares. Sure I can and almost certainly should take my $10K off the table. But I would be sick if this rebounded after holding it for 7 years to this level. This is a terrible strategy but so was averaging down the past 7 years. Even the shares I bought right after the trial failure at 0.08 are down 66% in 6 months.
I still feel that if there is even a shred of truth to the viability of this pipeline that a $50M+ buyout or some partnership will be struck. If not and it's just a pension for Leo well bad on me for getting scammed.
Lessons learned:
1. Never invest in another company being attacked by short sellers. You lose that battle 9/10 times. They almost always have better intel and often they have their thumb on the scales.
2. Never invest in a company with an officer that was formerly a part of NNVC.
No need to worry.
It's all going to be alright.
For Leo.
The AlfaSigma and Fox Chase licensing deals should generate ample income to fund the Ehrlich pension for a long time.
It's obviously one of those quiet periods where Leo can't say anything ahead of a large and transformational deal that will make us all rich. Right? Right?!?!
I agree. While he has been more accurate in his assessment of the company than most over the years he continues to equate hypertension and tingling with actual more meaningful SAEs.
If we start seeing what appears to be legitimate partnership interest in B-OM or B-IBD I might start buying a bit more.
For now though...I think I'm just riding with the few hundred thousand share I have. I'd rather write off the remaining $15K they are worth than risk a turnaround that could translate into a more meaningful sum after all this time.
A terrible strategy no doubt but I'd rather die an IPIX loyalist. This will hopefully be the last naive investment I ever make.
I could but I won't.
I can get 300,000 pieces for $3000 later this year. Or maybe 3,000,000 for $3000 a couple years from now.
Or maybe we'll see a good pump and I can trade 300,000 out for $75,000. I'd rather that...but I damn sure wouldn't bet another $3000 on it.
Ah yes, that's what I was thinking of.
All these teeny tiny deals. They won't pay out much to shareholders but they might keep the pension fund going long into the future if they ever succeed.
That $1M B-UP Phase 3 start milestone doesn't seem like much from the perspective of a shareholder but that's about two years worth of salary for Leo.
These deals all make much more sense now that I understand what's going on here.
Didn't we sell off or not renew our antifungal license for Brilacidin?
I'm eagerly awaiting info on how we will move forward on B-OM and B-UC/IBD.
I don't bash as I don't want this company to fail. However, I do note that Leo pulled all his loan money off the table and continues to draw his salary from that precious, nearly non-renewable 10M.
I'm not thrilled about that and Leo pulling his skin out of the game dors not inspire confidence.
The chance for a turnaround, buyout, or one more good pump from Leo.
I can take a loss any time I need it.
I don't care at this point. I simply wish I heeded the warning. I now have two rules going forward:
Don't invest in companies with crooked management.
Don't invest in companies targeted by crooked people. Crooks only target companies with weaknesses that can be exploited. I have never won a bet against determined short sellers.
CTIX/IPIX violates at least one of those rules if not both.
Mako tried to stop the madness years ago but most of us were too greedy and prideful to listen.
To be out of this at $1.80. We couldn't bear the loss at that point. And so we settle for $0.029.
No it doesn't seem that way. You're making an assumption from the exclusion criteria set BEFORE the trial was run.
I'm speaking based off the serum PK data taken during the trial which demonstrated the near complete lack of absorption.
My the PK data superseded precautions set before that trial and does not "seem" like anything.
You are quite correct. I can't muster the effort to correct it anymore though when B-COVID is a dead as Prurisol.
Do we have a buyout?
Do we have a partner for OM?
Do we have a partner for UC?
That is all that is left.
I believe there is some value to this pipeline and there could be a buyer for the company. Whether that is $0.10/share or $0.15/share or $0.25/share I don't know.
Unfortunately I believe those sorts of buyout valuations make it more advantageous for the CEO to continue taking salary while making minimal progress for a few years.
Leo just recently extracted cash by calling in his loan to the company at a time when we would be desperate to run a phase 3 OM trial.
Shareholders would like to book a loss at $0.10 rather than $0.001 in a few years once the salaries bleed us dry. If there's no path forward then sell what can be sold.
Well. In my opinion if one is dumb enough to attempt to buy 100k shares of IPIX today, they might have been dumb enough to click sell instead of buy.
Not you. Just a general thought about buying/selling IPIX.
We were ready for phase 3 in 2015...now more science fair stuff. Great.
Hell I'd love for CoreRX to acquire a certain company with an OM drug that could be used in their sachet for $100M or so.
Modify what?
Hmmm you mean two corrupt corporate parties banded together to create a bi-partisan tax payer giveaway to their big pharma corporate overlords?
Doesn't mean much for IPIX.
I don't think shareholders can take any more "advancing" of Brilacidin. We need some "monetization" of Brilacidin.
What we really need to do is buy another compound and pump it hard like we did with the other three.
Don't run interference for Leo. He hasn't lost a dime on this venture. He's one of the few CTIX shareholders who can say that.
More like "Lost all your's" Leo.
Well I do have a Youtube channel. I'd be happy to help Leo set one up if IPIX is still a going concern.
I definitely make far less than Leo posting here. No doubt about it.
Which is odd because we both accomplish nothing.
Wish I got paid $100K per quarterly report.
Good gig if you can get it. Leo's basically funded for life.
Not really. Go investigate the ACTIV and BARDA websites and look at the companies they have provided funding to.
You won't find many/any company that looks like Innovation Pharma on the list.
If you can cite any example of a sub $50M pharma getting any government money for clinical trials ever please do. It would make me feel a lot better.
They must not have gotten the memo that the trial failed many months ago.
Oh please. Every dollar of that BS BARDA program is earmarked for big pharma.
Why would he be punished? He has done nothing illegal.
All he did was convince a bunch of naive investors to pay his salary while he gambled their money away on some drug candidates.
OTC life...be the owner not the investor. Live and learn.
He just gave us the secondary endpoints data a few weeks ago.
How high will it rise?
