My hunch is they just can't execute properly. A hunch based on a pervasive history of not meeting timelines. It was a holiday event. The holidays have been over for 2 weeks. But, par for the course. Remember that investor's event we were going to have in January of 2018?? 2 years later...nothing, zip, nadda.
FUNN
How do you know that?
FUNN
Yeah, it's been a month. Very typical pattern for FUNN. They have have a really big problem with execution on a timely basis. I mean, how long does it take to throw some items in a box and mail it out?? I think this is one more thing that points to a culture of FUNN that needs some serious revamping.
FUNN
They are so good live, it's almost criminal.
FUNN
2020 is starting out on bit of a bad foot, but we're going to turn this crap around here in FUNN land.
FUNN
You got my vote there Aggie. Life changer for me.
FUNN
All it took was listening to his solo off the Exit Stage Left album in 1987 for the first time in August 1987. Started playing drums 3 months later. Been playing since.
FUNN
RIP Neil Peart...my favorite Canadian and hence rushmann. May Roger learn from him to make FUNN great.
FUNN
Belated Merry Christmas to you! Nice gift.
PCTL
Yeah, in a world going green, having that aspect basically makes it a no-brainer.
PCTL
Absolutely agree. HAI's are brutal, especially with the older folks or those with multiple medical problems. Someone I knew had knee surgery a few months back, got a nasty post-op infection while still in the hospital, became septic, and lost his leg. It's a huge problem and a very expensive one. These systems, while not cheap, would be a huge money saver...not too mention a life saver.
PCTL
New to PCTL as of today thanks to Egold. I very much like what I see so far. I'm in the medical field working in both the ER and Urgent Care and there is a huge need for this product. With continued proper execution and working out the fins, this company has a real shot at making it big. CEO seems very genuine and SH friendly which is a huge plus.
PCTL
Yes, agree a podcast would be the next best thing and it would reestablish the relationship we did have with him back in 2017. 2020 needs to be a reset year and get back that 2017 mojo. Those were good days.
FUNN
We used to have CC's in 2017. I think the last one was November 2017. The difference then is FUNN was riding high and everyone was excited to be invested in the company. It's a bit different now. Roger would be walking into the lion's den with a lot of frustrated SH's. Not saying he shouldn't do it, but it isn't very likely knowing he'll get bombarded.
FUNN
2020 has to be the year for follow through on what is stated by Roger. HR's. Nothing but HR's. We are at the point almost nothing else will do. We cannot take another year full of missteps.
FUNN
The "when" part is always the kicker. I think April of 2017 started the last run to ATH, may have been January, but either way we are at or nearly at the 3 year mark, so the "when" question is getting long in the tooth. However, 2020 is just out of the gate, so I'm willing to sit tight and see what develops.
FUNN
Well, if it gets down to my predicted 0.02, then I would say you'll be one happy LONG.
FUNN
Any serious LONG here is praying that you are and have been correct all along.
FUNN
Yes, agree. Been talking about needing to hit HR's for months. The last PR, while good news, was a single. Need HR's and need them soon or the bleeding will continue.
FUNN
Hopefully not, but right now we have no idea where FUNN is in the 2019 audit process. If they haven't even started it yet, then June isn't as outlandish as one would think. Roger could easily help us out here with some basic info on the status.
FINN
Nice post Juancy and agree with everything you said except it may get down to that 0.02 level as a bottom. We'll see how it pans out. Hopefully 0.04 was the bottom, but it that remains to be seen. Hard to tell when we're in the thick of it.
FUNN
It is crazy and completely consistent with the vile pink marketplace. That's why I have been stressing the audit needs to be caught up so we can uplist. FUNN should be on the QX with it's real peers. Even the QB is not the right place for us, but its a step toward it at least.
FUNN
Just the way I see it. I've already made my bets so if it were to shoot up to an ATH today, I would be a very happy camper along with the rest of the Longs. I don't need anymore shares. That said, if it did get to 0.02, I probably would pick a chunk up if nothing else to commemorate an accurate call. But, all things being equal, I'd just assume we move up from here.
FUNN
I've been calling 0.02 for months now hoping to be very wrong, but it getting more likely it'll end up being an accurate call. The good news is I don't see it cratering from there.
FUNN
Well, the odds are on your side given the history here over the last 2.5 years, but just perhaps Roger has some dynamite up his sleeve to ignite the stock.
FUNN
FUNN does seem hellbent on getting to 0.02 where a final base will form for the next bull run, which if all goes better than it has in the past 2.5 years since the last run, then it should be another sustained multi-month run before a significant correction occurs. The only thing I can see at this point that will stop the SP from hitting around 0.02 is if we can a cascade of very significant news. So, the race is on to see which one wins out.
FUNN
And I agree. The only issue that exists here with WM is that up to a few weeks before Christmas it was stated KTU would be on the WN shelves in time for the holiday. So, the question remains why pump WM hard to not deliver? A simple tweet could have cleared it up for SH's but now has provided more fodder for some and distrust for others when it simply doesn't have to be that way.
FUNN
True Juancy. But, it the communication and intent were very clear when it came to Walmart up to very recently to then not have it happen and without explanation is confusing to SH's and is clearly causing some unease about it. Same as the 2019 audit completion. Up until the 2018 audit completion, I among others were under the impression 2019 was going to be done with or shortly thereafter based on what we were told by FUNN. Now it appears we may have not even started it yet and it's Jan 2020. It really boils down to the fact that some of us just want to have a clearer understanding from the company than others. When we are being told one thing, but something completely different happens, it creates mistrust. Do as I say, say as I do kinda stuff. I dob't mind if FUNN switched strategies to forgo WM for the first few runs, but tell us so we're not left speculating what happened. Same thing with the 2019 audit. FUNN should be clear as to where we are in the process and a reasonable guideline of what to expect as the process plays out. I'm really hoping 2020 marks the year where their communication and execution become much, much better. As it has been stated many times, Roger could easily clear alot of this up with a few tweets just so we're all on the same page. Yet, he hasn't. That makes some nervous, including me. I'm a big communications kind of person, especially at work where it's critical. FUNN does have a lot going for it, but the lack of clarity on important issues creates mistrust and that isn't helping any of we LONGS as we continue to drift downward.
FUNN
Yeah, don't know. And a good point. I guess we wait for Roger to clue us in on what the 2019 audit process entails.
FUNN
Well, from that email response, Ben didn't sound too confident it would be done anytime soon.
FUNN
Well, to me it sounds genuine and also highlights what a disaster the 2018 audit process was, as many suspected, hence why it took so long to complete. My concern is if their intention to get the 2019 audit done by June doesn't pan out, then that puts us in a potentially bad situation as we won't be able to uplist until the 2020 audit is released. As I stated earlier today, we could face yet another year not being able to uplist off the pinks. Somehow, someway, they have to get caught up on these audits.
FUNN
I'm not selling a share and will ride the FUNN wave with anyone else willing to ride this out for the long term prize. If it does get to 0.02, I'll probably deploy some serious capital at that point, but I have enough in FUNN to satisfy me if it doesn't. Right now, hitting the milestones are priority one for me. I'm glad you'll be sticking around long term. There may be only a small group of us left from the early days when this finally takes off.
FUNN
No argument here, but apparently the market thinks differently. Although I have repeatedly called for 0.02-0.03, I would really prefer we simply head in the other direction.
FUNN
We're 4.4 cents away from not being able to uplist no matter the status of the audit. 0.088 wasn't all that long ago. Market seems to want to walk this down as much as possible before any major catalysts finally hit.
FUNN
By EOM, it would be very nice of Roger to supply us with a comprehensive 2020 prospective update to get a much better idea of what is and will be going on over the next 11 months.
FUNN
Until we get clarity, it's very possible we simply run out of time in order to uplist this year. Getting off the pinks in 2020 is a huge must happen event and we can't do that if we are perpetually way behind on the audit completions.
FUNN
At the very least, the 2019 audit should have been started just after releasing the 2018 audit in mid November. If that is the case, shouldn't we have either RBSM or another auditor on the audit working toward completion already? And why no word from Roger clarifying the pathway for the 2019 audit? I really hope we actually started the audit. If not, we're going to have some problems here in 2020. Some clarity would be very helpful.
FUNN
Not the kind of news that will move the needle in the short term, but it builds on the relationship we have with Cineplex, and with that comes greater exposure, deals, and revenue. So, for longer term holders, this is indeed a bit of good news.
FUNN
The saving grace would be that the first runs do really well, all the while fixing any kinks in the works, and setting up for much larger production runs that find their way to WM shelves in addition to the Ma and Pop shops. We need clarity on how successful the initial runs were and what plans does FUNN have for future runs, and how much can they produce for each run. Lots to sort out. Like I said, 2020 will be a truly defining year.
FUNN
Very hard to predict as the speculation piece of the pie is a big unknown. The market needs to fall back in love with FUNN again. Many past frustrated investors who bailed will need extra coaxing to come back, but FUNN shouldm't have a problem providing the fuel for that coaxing. An IR team would definitely help lure new investors to FUNN so hopefully we have a plan in place for that to happen in the near future now that we are pink current. With our share structure, I wouldn't expect a huge rise in SP. It certainly can happen if the momo is there in spades, but not likely to see $1 + any time soon. I think a reasonable SP post audit/uplist would be a bit north of the ATH. Anything around 0.50+ would be a great gift. In time, and with continued execution, hitting $1 + will happen. And at some point, we'll see the NASDAQ, but I'm guessing not for 3-5 years. 2020 will indeed be a very defining year. Just hoping it's a positive defining year.
