VWAP at $14.95 should tell you who is becoming involved at these prices
VWAP of $14.20 today. Didn't pay attention to yesterdays number but that probably is $2.50 higher on increasing volume. Nice to see!!!!
O.T....... I'm a dumb American so I'm pre-disposed to not like soccer but I was watching the French match yesterday and turned it off when they scored 3 quick goals and thought it was over. Is their coach a moron or did they just take their foot of the gas because they thought they won?????
No they are not. If your account is margin approved the clearing firm will use every trick in the book to loan out your shares even if it's sitting in "cash" and not "margin". You have to have a cash account only. You should also make a phone call to verify your shares are not currently being loaned out or not eligible to be loaned out
I would imagine LWLG is or will be on the "Hard to Borrow" list at clearing firms. Their next step is to entice you to loan them your shares with an attractive interest rate. Always thought that was fools gold as I'm giving Shorts my shares to sell into the market to suppress the price
READ YOUR MARGIN AGREEMENT PEOPLE
Urban myth and not true. Margin accounts automatically give clearing firms authority to lend out your shares. Cash accounts do not. They will send you a letter requesting to borrow your shares in your cash account for their loan department when they see demand for borrowing your shares from the shorts. You can always reject their request (if in cash account). The way WS works though they probably have found a way around the "letter" requirement
Look at the chart. Is it a coincidence that this move started on 5/28, 1 day after the ASM Lebby video and the GOLDEN NUGGETS he released??? He has been touting our Polymer modulator to the entire industry for the last year. That's plenty of eye-balls and certainly more than enough money to push the stock to this price. The continued buying over the last month leads me to speculate that loose lips are yapping and they indeed expect a contract announcement in the near future. I've learned to be patient over the last 5 years with LWLG and will remain so. "Hurry up and wait", favorite phrase from my Army days
A sincere THANK YOU goes to all the long-timers here that helped educate me on this incredibly difficult to understand field of Photonics. Your intellectual honesty has helped me attain and maintain my 100k block of shares. Not selling until I see the whites of their eyes and personally agree with X and believe that decision will be taken away from me. Just think the Big Boys won't allow little 'ol LWLG to make all this money
Does our modulator perform both functions required... convert photons to electrons (inbound)and also convert electrons to photons (outbound)??????
they filed for that patent well over 1 year ago. Someone posted the patent info here early this week
Sure seems like they're going to have to maintain a hell of a lot more capital to play their games. Nice rule leveling the playing field a little more
Proto,
You helped me last year in understanding ROSA (receive) and TOSA (transmit). I understood our modulator executes the ROSA side. Does it also perform the TOSA function or is it capable of performing that function with a tweak???
VWAP is $5.92 @ 3:39PM
Am i stupid for thinking that GF would eventually be selling white label transceivers (LWLG INSIDE of course) directly to the datacenters???
I believe you are correct. The real problem with naked short selling is the un-limited supply that these entities can sell to control the price of the security. I'm with X on this one... I think they are playing with fire here. Way too much 3rd party confirmation that LWLG is about to commercialize
Although that naked short seller is not selling shares it owns. 2 different definitions of a seller
Wall Street Bets. Why do i think they are somehow affiliated with the Reddit crowd????
Haven't seen ETRF on the bid before and they are soaking up anything for sale at $4.36. Nice to see
Davisa is way too freakin creative!!! I'm still singing that song!!!
Question
I'm a 400GB transceiver maker that doesn't manufacture and needs a Foundry partner. Will the foundry dictate to the transceiver maker the components that go into the end product (LWLG modulator or LWLG goo)??? Would the foundry insist that an LWLG modulator be incorporated into their transceiver???? Or does the transceiver maker dictate to the foundry where all the components come from???
Disagree (granted, i only took 1 minute to pull up hourly chart)
High in last hour of Friday was $3.48. Low in 1st hour of Monday was $3.44. I am in agreement with you about filling gaps though
All the early investors could be looked at as Series A and B Seed Funding/Angel investors. Meaning that LWLG probably shouldn't have been a publicly traded company for the last 20 years. Lucky for us we saw the potential
I'll take a crack.
LWLG single lane speed of 100GHz without the need of a driver chip greatly reduces the cost of manufacturing a modulator. The entire industry still hasn't gotten to 50GHZ single lane speed and they have been at it for 15+ years. It took LWLG less than 3 to get their current speed and Lebby just told us the testing industry still haven't made equipment fast enough to test our newest generation chromosphore
PAM4 and the other acronym?? are expensive tricks the industry has used to speed up their inferior products
We are not inventing a 400-800GB transceiver as they currently exist, we just enable the foundry/transceiver manufacturer to make it considerably cheaper.
I actually got a call back from MZ today!!!! I asked a question about warrants outstanding. They couldn't answer to my satisfaction, but i believe price and volume over the last week and weeks to come will take care of any warrant overhang on the stock'
It sure is nice to see a plan come together!!! I would like to thank all the old-timers for the photonic education i received over the last 4 years. Not going to name names as i'm sure to forget 1 too many. Greatly appreciated!!!
Research LWLG polymer modulator as well as the new patent issued "direct-drive region-less modulator"
This new modulator/design removes the need for a power hungry driver chip. Find the quotes from HG Genuine VP acknowledging this. Proto posts them regularly
I pay $150 month for all the bells and whistles from QUODD. You should be able to get some of the=is data for free from some of the national online folks
My best guess looking at time and sales was it was a 50k buy either at the market or a marketable limit order at $2.20. JMHO
Trying to find total Warrants outstanding. They seem to be lumped in with employee stock options in annual report. Anyone have the number???
Wasn't there an old marketing campaign from INTC.... "Intel Inside" ???
Would love to see a similar campaign from LWLG.... "LWLG Inside"
Can someone please show another company in this space touting "Direct Drive"
I think Lebby has used "tier 1" when referring to partners before but i don't exactly recall where. Not really going to waste my time as i'll accept that verification on May 18, 2021.
The Naked shorting numbers are starting to make sense as i would guess that is how LPC would code any sale entered on their trading system
"With the eyes of the industry on us, we continue to work closely with our tier-1 partners under NDA..."
So Proto is not the only claiming multiple Tier 1 partners??? Go get'em Dr Lebby!!!!
I think X is on the money with his guess. Would actually be a good thing as that money would most assuredly be used for ramping up production
Thx Richard. Found the "quoted" number on another site. 147k shares "officially" shorted. Also found site that supposedly quotes amount of naked shorting. Not sure i buy it but it shows around 40% of daily volume being naked shorted. I will say that the kind of selling i have been witnessing over the last few months isn't designed to get the highest price for the seller but to exact maximum pain to the share price. Shorts don't seem worried about an imminent announcement. JMHO
Anyone have link to site for current short interest??
Someone previously posted on here a quote that referenced LWLG obtaining 100+ GHz speed in their labs. Any idea who that was from??? LWLG in 3 short years has moved from 5 GHz to 70 GHz. How long did it take for the establishment players to get there ( i understand they aren't there but you get my point) What's to stop LWLG making the same leap in the next 3 years????
May be because they are private companies????
I remember that case but forgot all about that company. What's the ticker symbol??
Hynix thinks they will win the "Race to Finality". If NLST wins in court and Hynix obviously appeals all those appeals, re-trials, petitioning the Supreme Court have to become final before NLST can go back to the USPTO and tell them to stop all proceedings on the 523 patent. If Hynix is successful getting all claims invalidated at the USPTO and after all appeals in the IPR process are final HYNIX can get any award we get in court thrown out based on patent invalidity. Very surprised the USPTO took up this IPR considering the Court case had already started, but the cesspool that is the USPTO consistently delivers for it's Big Tech masters
How many claims survived the main patent in dispute???? A 10 year battle at the USPTO probably required NLST to amend a few of those claims but I don't believe it fundamentally changed the intent and language of the patent. I remember way back when this started where TXN stole their ideas from JEDEC. I believe NLST gets paid from GOOG but the amount and timing remains to be seen. Good luck to all longs
Uptick rule in effect with a 10% drop INTRA-DAY not at the close
Probably same person or entity that has been religiously selling for the last year. JMHO
