I worked on microwave technology very similar to what LWLG is doing with the photonics modulators, and I can tell you that the amount of gold is not what you and others are presuming. They use a printing type process where the gold is “sputtered” on top of a substrate material. It’s usually measured in microns thickness and with devices this small it doesn’t add up to much as far as overall cost goes. Can’t be for certain but from the looks of it that’s what they’re doing on the RF portion of their devices. PG could probably shed more light here as well.

Time will tell GP. I'm still backing this team with or without the patents. People like this on LWLGs team just don't stumble into a bar one day and start a photonics company. There's a reason they're going on this path and only they can control its future. We're all just along for a journey if we choose to stay.
1st SSL I’d prefer to call it feedback not attacking. GP reaps what he sows. I’m just one of many that enjoy his antics so much that I just can’t hold back my feedback. As for providing “color” to the patents from a technical/professional point of view the biggest take away is the securing of their IP. Protecting this cutting edge technology is the most important part of their business plan. Like any thing else, they will try to steal, copy the hard work the team has accomplished to date. As for the specific patents role in commercialization they are just icing on the cake. To put a laser on the same substrate as the modulator and “channel” the light on multiple layers is simply amazing. You have to understand these substrates are extremely small. I use to work on MMICS (Miniature Microwave Integrated Circuits) that were so small we had to use high power microscopes to work on them. This technology pretty much parallels that world only with Polymer instead of Indium Phosphate or Silicon devices. The approach of multiple modulators using one laser source on on substrate so small you can barely see it with the naked eye is mind blowing. The speeds at which they’re operating at multiples of two, four, six etc. and extremely low power consumption is fascinating. I once saw a statement on their web site years ago that really caught my attention. “Powered by Lightwave Logic”. I saw this as a direct shot at another company’s logo I believe. “ Powered by Intel” sooner our later electrons on chips just won’t cut it anymore in this world of high speed, massive data flow. Photonics, integrated Photonics IS the answer to many current computing and communications challenges. The world is in search of an answer for this and LWLG is on the cusp of solving a major problem.

There you go again GP! For someone who has difficulty fully understanding this technology you now think you’re an expert by “ reading” a patent excerpt? I’m for one not impressed. To even receive these patents the findings are scrutinized to the fullest by numerous EXPERTS in the fields in which they apply. Go back to your patch and wait for a full moon. Maybe then you’ll see the light and ride the wave instead of knocking it at any chance you get. You’re so entertaining. Not!

Thanks PG! Agreed that the optical coupling was probably their biggest challenge. From the charts/data they’ve got that resolved. The improvements to the material are monumental. Circuit designs can always be “tweaked” here and there. The Perkinimine is the platinum in this investment. We got it secured and with the work being done in the labs it can even get better. That in itself is Nobel prize material!

Hey PG, “Ribbon bonds” at 40 GHz or more? I worked in the MMIC world for a number of years and we used multiple “wire bonds” in various configurations as well as ribbon bonds in certain areas. From that experience I can say that large loops kill performance. Bonding to far back from a substrate transition edge kills performance. From the picture in the presentation they could make some changes mechanically in their build to bolster performance. Any thoughts on this?
JLW
GP you never give up do you. What’s it going to take for you to finally sell your shares to all of us believers? You’ve trolled this site for what now several years? I’m betting that your stake in LWLG is just as big if not bigger than mine. If you don’t believe anything is going to come from this effort why do you even bother to share your valuable time with all of us? Maybe you should try looking at some other stocks to get some satisfaction from.
JLW
Bingo Pro_V! Lead the them to the promise land. There will be a captive audience there that's a given. When, not if, he delivers data that supports the science behind the material as we know it a deal is sure to be struck. The real question is how much is the material and the product and the IP worth to the highest bidder? I'm sure the think tank that LWLG has put together has a ball park number that would work to sell off the entire treasure chest.
Ride the wave!
“Comfortably numb” awaiting the BIG news later this month. Come on people do you really think he’s going to the ball without good news? Remember he’s the one setting the stage for workshops high lighting the performance of his life long dream material. I’ve been riding this board much longer than many of you and some of the stuff you people throw out there just kills me. “Edison and the light bulb”? LMAOF!!!!! This material discovery/patent has no comparison to a flippin light bulb. We’re talking about PHOTONICS, at the Speed of light on an IC that you have to look through s microscope to see the features of it. Light bulb lol!

I knew I liked him when he arrived! Now I love him! I’m a huge Pink fan.

Hey Gates, Not sure where X is but I’ll give you my 2 cents. Lebby is playing out a very BIG hand in a huge game with very high stakes. He’s leading them all into a place where they will all be at the Big show where he’ll lay down his hand. The “data” will be there and he’s going to deliver. The efforts going into this will not be a waste. This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what our “Goo” is going to deliver.
Ride the wave!
Amen to Sarge and his great wisdom. As I’ve said, and many others as well what we have is a game changing science in the “Goo”. Oh make the Patented science. Electrons as we know them have limits which have seemed to come to the “Brick wall”. Lebby knows this, so do others on our team. Photons are they answer to a speed and power problem plain and simple. If I were a BIG generator of massive amounts of data I surely would be longing for a way to cut my power bill while speeding up my delivery services. Looking forward to hear what the good doctor has to say later in September. As for no news lately, what greater way to build suspense and excitement then by going stealth for a while.

PC you are absolutely correct. In the world of IC's and data processing the incumbent technology has the reins. But, that's what they said about the light bulb. Who would have guessed after all these years the LED would have knocked that bulb out of the socket. Time will tell and I like the way this team is approaching the whole development process. Steady and methodical with purpose. Sooner or later, hopefully sooner, the big dogs are going to need us in their houses. As time goes by and new improvements to the Goo and PIC's continue the price will only continue to go up for a piece of our cherry pie.
JLW out
The proof will be in the "goo" my friend. As long as LWLG can show with tangible evidence (data) that there's even a potential to even greater speeds with low power consumption the Tier 1s are going to have to come to the table with $$$$$$. I'm betting that they have been watching with very focused visions of what the world would look like in a PIC processing light waves future.

Hey Shazam,
When Intel 1st came out what was their share price? I don't know either but back then who knew that IC Chips that could process electrical signals and "Compute" would be a big thing. Back several years ago I bought and sold over 100K shares of TDON which was LWLG from my purchace price of .40 cent to over $2.60 per share. I thought that was a great return on my investment. Guess what, that was way before what they now have! I have been riding this WAVE for some time now and this time I'm on until we hit the mother load. Who wouldn't want the technology that's going to change how data moves across the vast networks of data lines that X our earth? Who wouldn't want the material that allows you to do this at the CHIP level at speeds unheard of? Whom ever gets there 1st in my humbled opinion is going to be the target of many of chip makers. Why? Because data speed at low power consumption will save money, and earn money at the same time. Does LWLG have the answer? I wouldn't want to miss out finding out either way. For me a "fair" buyout price would be in the $50 to $100 range. To go it alone or with a partner over time, and become the "intel" of photonic chips, PRICELESS!
JLW out!
He doesn't know anything. No one knows where it stands right now other than the KEY personnel @ LWLG. WE all continue to wait and see what the good doctor delivers in the very near future.

Opportunities like LWLG don’t come along too often. Inventors invest huge amounts of time and money to create extraordinary things and many times they fail. Edison is the one person I keep going back to when I think about what LWLG is doing. He kept going despite many obstacles and so will LWLG. You either have faith in the team of LWLG or you don’t. I’ve been riding this “Wave” for a long time and I’m dam lucky to have discovered this back when it was TDON with only a few believers. Research the science behind this “Goo” like I have and you’ll truly be amazed at what they’ve done where many, many others have failed. The patents alone are worth much more than anyone realizes. Stay the course, Ride the wave! It’s going to be an incredible journey into the future with Photonics and LWLG at the helm.
Looks like the right guy at the right time to support the mission. I like the way this is all coming together.
JLW
Congrats to Our Fred! We’re very fortunate to have him on board and guiding our technology.
Hey Proto did I hear right when asked about sales " We haven't gone public yet" ? Meaning that there's definitely something in the works? One of the charts showed "Licensing" which to me is a very interesting option which could generate HUGE revenues when others get to Ride the wave along with us. So the real question is how much are we asking for $ wise and what level of equity are we willing to give up here? X, F2 and others please give your take on this.
JLW
Cool! I'll do you one better. Look up Terry Turpin optical computing, NSA. Oh yeah that's right Terry was and maybe still is associated with LWLG? Way back in the TDON days Terry was working for/with TDON to develop an optical computer using our material? This story just keeps on getting better every day.
JLW
I would imagine with all the assets they recently acquired plus the new facility they could potentially turn this into a manufacturing plant for some if not all requirements moving forward. Remember the size of our products are not very large at all. The PIC's them selves are about the size of a postage stamp if not smaller.

Hey Proto thanks for providing the links/info on this latest patent. If I get this right they've been able to now process a beam of light into and on board a a multiple layer substrate made up of our Polymer material. Wow! It's like a good old fashion oscillator using electrons but in our case using "Light waves" on a singular integrated Circuit made up of once again our material. Wow! I don't know about your technical background but from my own dealings in electronics, if you can generate and multiplex a signal you can perform computations i.e. as like a computer. "Speed of Light" computing to me is the "Holy Grail" of Photonics. If in fact we can even do part of that processing of photons on a single "Chip" made out of plastic, WOW!
Beam me up Scotty I believe we've achieved lift off!
JLW
That's correct, but it does not stop venture capitalists from buying/selling these "microcaps" that potentially could make them significant returns on their investments. Nor does it stop companies looking to acquire a majority position or the entire outstanding shares of a targeted technology company.
Awesome news! Extremely proud of and excited for the LWLG team. To be recognized at this level with their industry peers present is outstanding. Time to make it known world wide that the wave has the goods and its full capabilities are still yet to be discovered. Dr. Goetz we owe you the upmost respect and appreciation for working the science behind this magical material.
Ride the wave!
Should be a very interesting week 62. A number of Stock chart sites have our wave as "Strong Buys" which should push the price up to and beyond the 52 week high and going higher.
Ride the wave my friend!
JLW
The good news Proto is that it bounced back in the extended market and is sitting @ $1.25 going into next week. Both you and I know this is still way undervalued. I can feel it in my bones that we're going to blow past our all time high very soon. The LWLG team has the best of the best on it and our successes will be ones for the history books.
Ride the Wave!
JLW
I’m ready to catch the next wave to bigger and better days ahead.
Enjoy your weekend and keep positive thoughts on the wave,
JLW
$1.25 is a great number to start next weeks climb from.
Ride the wave!
JLW
OTC market is open until 17:00 ET. I believe we’re @ $1.25 not the $1:18 shown here on this site. Anyone else care to chime in? Either way great week for the Wave!
JLW
Interesting note, I see that 500 shares traded @ $1.24 and 4000 @ $1.25 at 16:00:02 and 16:00:17 above the $1:18 @ 15:59:58 yet the close is $1.18. What gives?
JLW
Ok who dropped our nice ride today right in the last minutes? And why? Someone else wants in and next week could be even better than this weeks ride on the wave.
JLW
Tsunami is what I prefer to ride all the way to the bank!
JLW
I like the sound of that! I've been a supporter since the TDON days. For all the newbies here you need to read up on the history of this incredible discovery/chemistry to fully appreciate what the TDON/LWLG team has accomplished. As Proto has graciously spelled out for everyone the technology supporting the "Goo" is crazy good stuff. It was only a matter of time until all the cards in their deck came up with the Royal Flush.
Ride the Wave!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
JLW
Ok who out there is a charts expert and can shed light on the current formation happening with the Wave? Sure looks to me like we've seen this rise before and I'm not sure what the technical term is.
JLW
Anyone else having difficulties getting to LWLG’s web site?
If my memory is correct the "Published date" of Feb 28, 2019 is the date that the patent is officially granted. BINGO! A laser/modulator on the same substrate, in the same package, using both INP and our Polymer operating at .5 V is the holy grail. News must be traveling fast because while I'm typing this the PPS and share volume is rising like a wave. I'm sure an official news release is going to be presented very soon.
RTW!
JLW
I'm in your court with this outlook Gates. The Wave has what others have been trying to accomplish for years. No need to share the reward with others at this point. To be acquired by one of the big guns now would be the best prize possible. A bidding war between several big guns would be even better.
Ride the Wave!
JLW
No problem Scope! This was a very smart move on Lebbys and LWLG's management team. They have created a "Think Tank" of industry experts so that they make the best possible decisions on where to take the wave moving forward. Dr. Lebbey is a very smart man but I'll bet you that even he knows that this is much bigger than him alone and needs these folks to power the wave.
JLW
Hey Dusty, A long long time ago LWLG put out a PR that included the phrase "Powered by Lightwave Logic" as if to throw out a personal invite to Intel to either bring us on board or that we were going to challenge the status quo. Many moons ago Terry Turpin was brought on board to look at the possibility of "Optical Computing" with then "TDON" material. You have to imagine that with the new material prospects and all the other accomplishments the wave has shown us that we're on the verge of something spectacular.
