Wouldn't earthen's email be considered libelous if untrue? All the other excuses were pretty vague, this one is quite specific.
LOL! What is this, BINGO night? ... "Under the "Beee" ... we have Bankruptcy. That's Bankruptcy under the "Beeeeeeee"."
Thanks. Nice.
Art, did Megas tell you that he had already met with the SEC, like he apparently told MichaelWC here:
(TIA)

LOL! Brilliant.
re: "finite" (part 2)...
Well, woke up this morning and the obvious (I think) hit me. "Finite", imho, simply means "coming to an end" or "having closure". So, I think T.Megas simply said he plans to "complete" the process and not leave it hanging.
re: "finite", I understood it, from the very beginning, to mean "time-constrained", or "to be completed within a definitive time frame".
OT: I think you should take it easy on fringe. He's doing his job here. No less would be expected of you on your job. Even if someone came over to your work and told you to your face, "Wow, do you ever have your priorities messed up, you should be worrying about all the suffering people, not doing your job.", you would still be expected to keep on doing your job. And you would.
Speaking of "worrying about all the suffering people", I don't see anyone raising the same fuss about hundreds of thousands, even millions of suffering people in Bangladesh, Darfur, Iraq, etc. Yes, it's a tragedy in New Orleans. I am helping, millions of others are helping. Yes, it's a tragedy, but it is NOT the only one. So please do not make it seem as such. And, with all due respect, please let people do their job.
Best regards
Wow! I am glad I had no access to a computer all day. Reading up on all the posts from the past ten hours, it seems that people are spending too much time incessantly watching the BCIT board, waiting for some magical resurrection to take place.
The more people stare at their monitors, the more they get riled up and that seems to bring on masses of emails to any and all email address posted anywhere relating to BCIT, SEC, any of the brokers, transfer agents and/or anyone who happens to be in the neighbourhood. From what I've been able to learn, most of these emails seem to have the not so pleasant overtones.
Not only will this slow things down, but it may serve to alienate the people we need on our side to win this battle. If I were in Megas' shoes and kept receiving 27 scornful emails every three hours from angry investors, I may keep on fighting the fight, but I would sure as early morning fog in London curb, or altogether stop, all correspondence with the ground floor masses, i.e. shareholders. And that will keep us all out of the "much required for sanity" loop.
It has been suggested so many times already that a sole group representative be elected to correspond with Thomas Megas. It cuts down the clutter, streamlines the group thought process and is bottom line most professional. In case no one has yet noticed, there are some extremely knowledgeable people working behind the scenes right here on iHub. Art mentioned them in a post somewhere in the past 2-4 days (sorry, don't have search), fringe_remnant replied to one of them today.
People really need to step away from the computer for a day or two, clear their heads of the echoes from some of the panic screams, come back and read a couple of days' worth of posts, in one sitting, and see if they can then get a better picture of the situation.
I think what is happening currently is people are watching this mini-series in little disjointed bits and pieces and giving reviews of the whole show when they've only seen the middle twelve minutes of episodes three and four of seven. As with any show, watching it in such a manner can only give one impression - "this show sucks". If you sit down at the end of each day and play each episode in its entirety, you may come away with a better review. Sure, you certainly may not like some episodes/days as much as others, but before you condemn this whole production as "trash", at least watch the whole mini-series play out in its entirety.
To me, this is like watching a foreign film. The main cast seems to be quite impressive, supporting cast quite able, the production, although not big-budget, seems impressive. Almost half way through the film now and it's had me on the edge of the seat through a few parts already. As with most films, especially those foreign ones which you can't fully understand, the middle is the (sometimes boring) lull before the climactic end. People around me are getting restless, edgy, irate. Some are starting to complain, some are leaving. Most, along with me, are staying on to see if the climactic end is as good or better than the tantalizing beginning.
It would be highly logical to assume that Art keeps in contact with Thomas Megas. I would also assume that, behind the scenes, the other power DD'ers are continuing with their DD.
By the looks of it, fringe_remnant seems to have the most collected approach, so if anyone is collecting names for a group representative in Art's absence, fringe has my vote hands down.
Got to go. Sorry about the length. Thanks for reading.
BCIT halted and RB fixed. What irony, lol. /e
TDW lists BCIT as halted in my acct.
Wow, interesting day. Took a while to read through it all. Good to see you try and check in every night. Have a good one, Art. Good night.
sounds like Ameritrade has a different "official" statement every six hours
playstk, you cannot forward split fake shares. It's as simple as that. Those shares have to be taken off the market and there is only one way to do that (for the MMs) - buy them back.
TDW still trading BCIT, no restrictions. /e
