Thanks appreciate it
I was looking for how much the licensing fee was for FL. Is it a percentage of sales or flat amount?
Lol
100% agree
Not everyone will grow. It is very time consuming for the yield. Takes extensive knowledge, take several months to have a smokable product, has an initial start up cost, takes up room on your house, and can be lost in a blink from pest, mold, or climate issues. You underestimate the science and skill behind growing. On top concentrates is a huge market and those take more equipment, space, and knowledge.
The Oregon market is an individual market. They are the only state that didn’t limit permits for cultivation and dispensing. The life is Oregon is completely different to that in California. Oregon is very much mom and pops and local supporters. While California is much more capitalistic. I’ve been to both and their beliefs and lifestyle show in their business. Oregon state laws flooded their own market. New states are learning from the mistakes of previous states. That’s why their are so many delays and set backs.
The black market won’t work when it is legalized. Their are too many different strains for specific experiences. People are going to go to a store with a larger selection. Your not going to want the random stuff you dealer has. The reason it is so big right now is the exports to illegal states and the mark up. Colorado, Oregon, and especially California (they once had a 99 plant medicinal law) have been exporting cannabis for decades. The black market will diminish as the demand is less in the illegal states, as they go legal.
I say this exact same thing on other boards. People who don’t smoke or never grew will not fathom the complexity in science, systems, and the knowledge it takes to grow quality. If it were that simple it wouldn’t have taken this long (even at minimum since the 60s, 50 years) to have the quality, diversity, and knowledge about strains, terpenes, and cannabinoids. They also don’t know the serving amounts per space over time grow or the labor involved. If you are in the industry or culture you understand the numbers. For those that don’t they can’t come up with realistic valuations or understanding of the process on both sides of the spectrum.
I can see this technology being useful for breeders.
We all agree on that. We have to do our own research with changing dates, new laws, costs, etc.
No ones going to listen to you when you didn’t even read that report or the last Q. Old news by 2 months. Q3 was before California had mandated testing (April-June) report came out mid August.
That says Q3. We are waiting for Q4.

And we are supposed to jump for joy on this? Stop giving us crumbs and start approving and moving things along at a more rapid pace. Understaffed? Get more staff. The tax payers are waiting here, and have been for a long time, as are the towns and cities that are expecting this revenue. Oh, yeah, and the people who WANT to buy are getting irritated. As the Patriots say, Do Your Job!

Thanks
Agree. Those were just quick estimates off top of my head using those numbers. 10 bagger from here is good with me. My last estimates said $7 on highest end and $2.25 on lowest for end of 2019.
If we can capture $40M revenues and double our shares from now that’s a market cap of $200m with 5x. If we have to double share structure to get there that puts a share price of ~$9.33. A 10x multiplier of ~$18.66.
Seems like we missed the opportunity for that. The cross listing certainly would have helped now, not in 15 weeks. Although 15 weeks from now is just before Q1 earnings report.
Does that restart the whole process? Meaning it won’t be ready for a few months?
So what’s reasonable by your analysis? What revenue multiplier are you using? We are at ~65x projected current revenue from my last number crunch.
I still think these two Cali labs are most important. We need the revenue. Target was to be opened beginning of October. One lab was purchased over a year ago. Job listings are up. Hoping for two PR back to back about both Cali labs.
Yea that bothers me as well. That’s material information. He PR when filing for it. Should PR from withdrawal with why.
I took a seminar about 280E and I can’t remember the company who was giving the speech but at the end they were selling their service which was business structure strategies. They gave some examples on a few states to open business for tax incentives or low annual fees etc. depending on the business.
I saw some documents with that address on it some time ago. There must be an office there. What are Nevada business incentives?
So you say the earnings multiplier is ~65x?
When is next quarterly report due? What are revenue guesses?
Did you get hit with the hurricane at all? Saw the panhandle got pretty messed up.
Good advice! Have a good weekend THCM!
Didn’t think about that. My only thoughts were they didn’t qualify with only part ownership of a sole lab in Canada but was only my first thought. I want details on this for sure. This is a big deal but not as big as revenue and getting these Cali labs open.
Look at valuations. Not just news. This is below book value with the market cap. We have more goodwill and assets than our market cap. The last financing was sold at $0.60, which means that should be the bottom unless we get new financing at a lower price or something drastic happens. You wouldn’t pay $100,000 for a brand new Honda Civic but you pay $1,000. Same concept with share price/market cap. You have to learn how to value companies with financial statements, p/e, multipliers, etc. News usually impacts these estimates which is why people buy or sell. I think many assume this is the bottom and are buying here. With news of two Cali labs opening pretty close to back to back that could cause a brief bull run. Everyone is guessing and placing bets until revenue is reported.
There needs to be a PR or 8k about this IMO.
And because of those things I feel much better about buying tested product free of mycotoxins and pesticides. People growing at home can have a contaminated product and not know because it is not seen with the naked eye. And those who are selling on the black market may not care if they are selling a contaminated product because they don’t want to lose money from a failed harvest after a lengthy process or they don’t want to risk losing their regulars if they don’t have a supply for another few months. Even legal cannabis in California had a significant amount fail testing at first, so imagine what the black market is selling (knowingly or unknowingly).
That 4x4 should be 3x3.
People don’t have the extra space inside and an in-line fan running 24/7 is loud. Outdoor plants are near impossible to grow in most areas of US it is too humid and inconsistent. And you only get one harvest a year. One heavy rain, inconsistent humidity, or some pests you lose your crop for a year. It’s very complex. If it wasn’t it wouldn’t have taken until the 2000s when people have been smoking for years to figure it out. It is 100% a craft.
And again if they want concentrates, vape pens, and edibles you are going to a dispensary. A commercial co2 extractor is $85,000-$300,000. Rotary evaporation or distillate glass is $5,000. And they take knowledge and experience to use.
First you can buy seeds online and shipped anywhere for about $10-12 each. You can buy clones in legal states. It takes a lot of time, money, and skill. There are many strains and new ones breeded regularly. They all have different effects and experiences just like different alcohol does. I can tell you people will not dedicate the time to growing. They quality now is too good and takes a lot of time and skill as well as the plant genetics to grow the quality. Even as a home grower I will still shop at a dispensary for many reasons. It’s not as simple as water the soil for quality. There are also bonsai training techniques to make it worth your time in quantity. You don’t smoke so you don’t understand. If it was that easy there would have been medical grade cannabis everywhere 10 years ago when I was in high school but it was rare. The majority will pay for it. It’s that expensive because it takes that much time, skill, and money to grow quality and quantity. It takes years of practice and plant understanding. Most importantly the perfect environment to prevent mold and the prevention on pests. I promise you the majority of people will not grow. I know from experience. It’s very much a hobby. The process is lengthy. A personal 3’x3’ tent would cost minimal $1,000 with a quality light. Would take 4 months from germination to smoking at minimum and really closer to 6 months with a good cure for better flavor and smoother smoke. Then the daily time and battling a perfect environment of about 80 degrees and 50% humidity isn’t easy. After said 6 months in a 4x4 you get 8 ounces if you are a somewhat good. Then a few hours trimming after. It’s not pluck a tomato and eat it. Then add in an assortment of nutrients and pest and mold prevention if needed. Checking pH and ppm. It’s very scientific if you want quality. I can write you a small book about it if you want. I already have for friends. I’m telling you people growing is not an issue.
That doesn’t worry me. It takes skill, time, and money to grow. Months before get a return. Lots of care and knowledge to produce quality and quantity. Different strains for different experiences. People can brew their own beer and don’t. For extractions and edibles it takes machines. People don’t even cook dinner anymore.
Agree for sure. But even with a federal legalization it will take awhile to implement (like Canada, about 2 years from when I first heard serious talks which gave emerging companies time to network with partnership agreements and grow significantly). It makes evios execution significantly more rushed but I think they can get ahead before things fruitate and come to realization. Look how long states are taking to set up. They may also have their own laws (some states you can buy alcohol in gas stations, some stores, some government ABC stores). Plenty of lag time.
Would hope that DGX would buy out EVIO by that time at a premium for their footprint, branding, and experience.
What is your estimated time frame for Canadian listing? I can’t find your post.
