Thanks Oilphant, but the price reflects a different story. If you believe in market efficiency, then this stock is trading at a price that reflects its present proven assets. Maybe Chevron could keep this informat a secret, but if it was that big, I doubt they would be able to.
The explanation of them drilling a boundary well makes sense looking at our current shareprice.
Proven oil is the only thing that will take this stock higher.
Long and strong ERHE.

Try,
If I had a cure for that problem, you would be in my mohagany office taking investment advice from me and I would not be talking about a penny stock with you! LOL
I am a mirror image twin and I suck at investing! Maybe I should give you my brothers number. He probably got all of the investment capability when the egg split! LOL
Doug C. Identical or fraternal?
I am an identical.

Try- No, we absolutely can not move up the date. I get my Christmas bonus on the 17th and I need the check to clear before the announcement!
OT My blood runs maize n' blue, but I knew Michigan needed an Arkansas win on Saturday for the re-match to take place. Arkansas blew it. But hey, Michigan had their chance too, and they fell just short. The real fiasco is 11-1 Wisconsin getting passed over for a BCS when Notre Dame had more losses! BCS my butt! Brady Quinn attracts viewers and that is why they are there.
Thanks Manti!LOL Would you believe that I have never used that link before! I am so used to using Yahoo Finance that I rarely look elsewhere.
Thanks! IMHO this and Ali Memon's registration to sell are the most important events in the recent past. These lend some credence to all of the rumors
Could someone please post a link showing the director that bought 85,000 shares fir 42 cents.
TIA
OT UPDATE: Arkansas takes the lead!! 21-17
OT USC gone! IF Arkansas beats Florida, then there is no reason why the Wolverines won't be in the National Championship Game!
Yeah!
IMHO The real problems with this stock, and the ones that worry me the most, are not the oil or the waiting period for drilling. I am confident that these things will be proven true.
The problems are SEC/DOJ and Offor. Nigerians companies are suspect enough without federal investigations attached. With the latest events in Nigerian oil, I find myself wondering if the fruits of all of this effort will be shared with us at all. Sometimes I think there is a better chance of Offor dying in an "accidental" Nigerian plane crash than making any money on this stock.
2.5 years later, and at a 50% discount to my purchase price, I find myself wondering if this is really too good to be true. ERHE's "don't give a sh**" attitude towards investors does not help one bit.
I am too stubborn to sell for a loss, but, if this ever gets back to 67 cents, I may not be able to resist breaking even. LOL
Touts come and touts go, but there always seems to be a least one on this board to keep hope alive at all times. Ever notice that?
Can anyone remember the name of the "so called" Wall Street Broker who used to be the prophet of the Raging Bull Board? He once claimed to be at a party with Ali Memon. was it lowleftone?
I also went to Michigan while Bo was coach. He was eventually replaced by the coach from my high school, Lloyd Carr. He was the coach of the John Glenn Rockets.
One last comment for the day: Michigan is going to spank the buckeyes like a GOP Senator by religious right minister!
Hail to the Victors!
Go Blue!
Spec,
The rankings I gave you were basedd on actual yardage, not some subjective ranking! ESPN Stats.
you must be reading one of those Southern Papers! LOL
Spec. Hunt from Penn State is 11 and Pittman from Ohio State is 15. According to ESPN Rushing leaders.
I see four big ten rushers in the top 15. How many does the SEC have?
LOL
Arkansas, Florida and Auburn are good teams. The rest of the SEC couldn't beat Wisconsin! USC will also not be a factor after they get beat by Cal today (and Notre Dame next week).
The way I see it. If Ohio State wins, they will play Arkansas for the National Championship. If Michigan wins today, I think there will be a chance for the two teams to meet again. Ohio State Has been ranked No.1 for the entire season and losing to #2 shouldn't hurt them that badly.
The most amazing thing for a Big Ten fan is that the loser of todays game goes to the Rose Bowl as a consolation prize!
OT Spec, regardless of who loses this game, they will still be better than any of the other 1-loss teams in the country! Why shouldn't they play again?
OT: No.1 vs N0. 2 to meet today in the 103rd meeting of the greatest rivalry in college football! No matter who wins today, these two teams should meet again in the National Championship Game.
Go Blue!
OT: A toast to Bo Schembechler! The greatest Michigan coach of all time! He'll be watching this game with Woody Hayes.
Bigfish,
The Whistler radio show was on for 13 years and the show that aired on March 5th, 1950 was called the "Chinese Elephant Puzzle" as stated previously.
Thanks!
Oilphant,
Truly glad you are back.
What happened with the Ides of March? Anything we should be concerned about, or just the usual delays?
TIA
I guess it will either be today or Sept. 8th, depending on which continent you prefer.
Didn't Oilphant predict something newsworthy for today?
Tryoty, The operative words in your post are "for all we know this was a planned exit strategy."
I have lived through an acquistion where a CEO was brought in strictly to manage the acquisition and everyone knew it. When it was done, he left with a 3 million dollar nest egg. It was not a pretty situation, but it was better to know than not to know.
"For all we know" is the iritating part. As shareholders, I think we have the right to a proper explanation after the events have transpired. I am not saying that they need to lay out their strategic business plan for all to see, but we are living in a void. "ERHE throw us a bone."
It could have looked very professional on ERHE's part to say, "he did what he was hired to do, was well compensated, and now we are parting ways." That opportunity is now lost and I think we will feel the aftermath on Monday. GLTA
One more thing and then I'll quit whining. If it is true that Brandhuber accomplished all that he was hired to do (inking the deals with Addax and SNP), then why didn't ERHE just say that. "He did his job successfully and now we are moving on." That is all it would have taken to make me more at ease.
They wait until after the market is closed and drop a bombshell. Smells a little funny.
The only thing I hang my hat on is that Offor seems to be able to fall in a pile of sh** and come out with a five dollar bill in his hand. I hope, for all of our sakes, he can do it once more.
I pray that you are right. I still think we take one on the chin on Monday.
I'd love to average down from .68, but I have very little confidence in ERHE right now. Between this latest news and investigation, I don't want to be the fool that gets parted from his money.
Probably not a popular sentiment, but anyone who says they are not a little disturbed by this latest turn of events is lying.
TS
Brandhuber bolts six months to the day with his rewards. Our rewards will be a falling share price on Monday. I sure hope to be a shareholder in six months and not a bagholder.
Still holding (but increasingly unsure as to why)
Fishdog,
I am long on this stock (2 years in July). I am also down 40%. I knew patience might be required, but nobody said the patience of a saint!
The only thing worse than having to be patient with this stock is listening to people say "be patient" for two years! LOL
Patience my lilly white A**
How can ERHE make a move to another exchange with this falling SP. The SP keeps falling even though all of the usual prophets have come out of the woodwork to prop it up.
Dis-heartened and tired of the BS. This stock needs show us the money.
Here! Here! Well said!
Orangedad, There is a whole other group of idiots on this board that really appreciate your son's input. I count myself as one of them! LOL
Question: I seem to remember reading that some other companies were issued subpoenas by the SEC. Can anyone confirm this?
TIA
Devon Energy could be acquired soon (sorry if repeat)
NEW YORK, June 29 (Reuters) - Devon Energy Corp. (DVN.N: Quote, Profile, Research) may be acquired soon as takeovers spread in the oil industry, BusinessWeek reported in its July 10 edition.
Possible buyers for the U.S. independent oil and gas producer include Exxon Mobil Corp. (XOM.N: Quote, Profile, Research), BP (BP.L: Quote, Profile, Research) or Chevron Corp. (CVX.N: Quote, Profile, Research), the magazine reported, citing Oppenheimer analyst Fadel Gheit.
Devon had been buying up other companies, adding to its allure by increasing growth potential, assets and valuation, the magazine reported. The company could be worth $40 billion, or $90 a share, versus its price of $56.27 on June 28, BusinessWeek reported.
OT Wow. Looks like I stirred up a hornets nest before I went off to golf! Sorry to the folks who had to live through it.
one comment about G dubya and I became a flag burning hippie! LOL
P.S. Remind me never to bring up abortion! LOL
