Why would they not get back to that point? The market is still forming. They’ll be reporting hundreds of million in revenue soon and the pps will go back up. Imo it will go far above the 13 dollar point
According to the chart it’s a buy now. Let’s see how the dice fall. Do we slay the demigorgon or do we all lose our souls?
Aqua, this is not shady my man. Were you here last January? This is a highly volatile, very thin emerging sector. Not to mention this sector is dependent on the end of schedule one prohibition at least in the US. This is the stock market, not a fairy tale. People are taking profits, many profits, and the small guys trying to make a 100k who have less experience may be stuck holding until this market become a real thing. Last January we had a major sell off due to hype boiling over. Now it’s happening again. Wait until July accumulate, hold, or do what you must but when this market becomes material and aurora is supplying cannabis globally along with other major producers these shares will be worth much much more. Try not to sell for beer or steak. GLTA
I feel as though we will see a move into another bull run soon in the Canadian lp stocks
This is the key to successful investing in my opinion. I for one have been in this stock since 1.66. I’ve been holding for the long haul because I believe this sector could have some incredibly tremendous growth over the next 3 years. I most of the times I’ve tried to trade this volatile emerging market I’ve gotten burned. That being said I’m new to the stock market. From what I learned though it’s better not to be reactionary and accumulate stock in good companies in market places that excite you
I think we are moving horizontally now until further notice. Things are consolidating. People are accumulating and or taking profits. The next bull run should come on the heels of a major catalyst
Your posts are right on. Koudos and good luck
Well it might be right but I prefer to hold and accumulate instead of trading for tax purposes and stress purposes
I’m not sure what you mean... yea it’s a little diluted but the global market share will make these companies huge. Imo the immense growth in the years to come will outweigh the dilution and make these shares very very valuable. Aurora has the single largest facility in the market, Aurora Sky, and they are licensed as the sole medical provider for Italy, and dominant force in Germany and Australia. They also have a very large patient base in Canada thanks to the merger. I think this company could easily become 20 billion market cap in the next few years. Do the math a long position in this will pay off. If you’re trading an emerging market and not accumulating that’s your choice but that’s not my bag baby.
Well said. I think the sector is waiting to materialize and waiting for the next major catalyst
Also nothing goes up forever
There’s a lot of dilution in this sector so essentially we’re hedging our bets against the dilution here. Not everyone believes cannabis will explode as an industry as we do.
This was trading at 9.00 last week
Mom Emmy of trust for a smaller time frame. One of many moments of truth so to speak.
The week doesn’t just treat every week
Hey all, long holder here. Some of you may know that I don’t like to make brash predictions if you’ve read my usual posts. But right here I’m going to go out on a limb a hit and say that I believe this Monday will be the start of the next leg up in the bull run for this market
What’s good for the company is good for shareholders in the long run
I agree with that as well, that’s why I’m diversified aurora is just a part of the portfolio haha
That being said... yes the price was higher than what we had in mind, but they gained access to market share at a huge discount based on its projected future value
I don’t think aurora bought cannimed because of their acumen and effective operations model. I think it was because Cannimed had access to market share that aurora wanted
I’m thinking that a few of the main reasons they were acquired was because they have a large patient base in Canada. Also they have some market share in Australia which is another place aurora does business
So this company just became larger than canopy which is sitting around 30 pps... why is this price too high?
Wow! I wish I was down 45k yesterday! That means you have a lot of shares!
Where do people keep pulling the 6 dollars profit per gram from. Which market is that based in? Canada?
This is a good article to refute the one you posted a 20 minutes ago. Weird choice of articles...
I have a few problems with this article. It’s using bollinger bands, rsi, and simple moving average in order to determine the future movement of a stock that is an anomaly in an infantile emerging market that is projected to grow by approx 48% per year. Furthermore according to my charts on stockcharts.com/ACBFF I read that aurora has not been consistently overbought since the period he claimed in the article in fact we’re just coming off of a substantial correction during the Jeff sessions comments. The supports contained the correction and there was healthy consolidation. I am calling this out as a hype article meant to strengthen a short position. Cheers and GLTA
Well yea plus you’ll end up with shares of aurora so it’s a win win. I would do this if I had more powder in the keg. However I’d call it highly speculative because we don’t know if they will end up acquiring Newstrike for sure and if they don’t kiss the gains in Newstrike goodbye
Hey there I’m just wandering about averaging into aurora at such a high price... I do think this stock still has significant upside potential, but not as much as some of the other smaller cap plays in cannabis right now. Not saying you’re wrong am just curious as to what your strategy and logic is when identifying the opportunity cost of averaging into shares of aurora and increasing your position at this price.

Well said bigman!
I swear the motley fool writes these bogus articles trying desperately to smear the mj industry with smoke and mirrors journalism. Article titled “is the Colorado medical marijuana industry done for?” And the article is about how recreational sales have been cutting into medical sales. These guys release article after article about aurora diluting shares and never analyze it more thoroughly. Can’t stand their trash “journalism”.
Hey man the USA is full of oligopolies in various markets. If you think this a truly “free” market we’ll think again... why you think sticky green goodness is just now finally being legalized? Dodo’s and dinguses not to mention greedy old farts endorsing prohibition for nearly 100 years. They all getting old and tired or dying now we start to get rich and smoke ganja and be peaceful. Maybe we’ll forget war. Hemp is the most versatile useful good known to man.
Aurora considering acquiring both cannimed and Newstrike! Tell me I didn’t call this yesterday. Cause I totally did.

TORONTO, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Canadian marijuana producer Aurora Cannabis Inc is in talks with rivals CanniMed Therapeutics Inc and Newstrike Resources Ltd to acquire both companies in a friendly deal, people familiar with the situation told Reuters on Friday.
The move comes after an attempt by Aurora, Canada's second-biggest listed cannabis producer, to buy CanniMed in an all-stock bid capped at C$24, was met with resistance from the target.
A representative of CanniMed declined to comment, citing an agreement on Thursday that prevented CanniMed and Aurora from making public statements about a potential transaction.
A Newstrike representative did not immediately respond to an emailed request for comment.
Separately, CanniMed has been pushing ahead with plans to buy Newstrike, with the latter's shareholders voting overwhelmingly in favour of the deal on Wednesday. CanniMed on Thursday postponed its own shareholder vote on the deal to Jan. 25 from Jan. 23 to discuss a possible transaction with Aurora.
With this latest development, both those bids would be scrapped and replaced with a new friendly agreement, according to the people.
Under Aurora's initial bid, if CanniMed were to buy Newstrike, Aurora's offer would not proceed.
Under both scenarios, Aurora is prepared to pay a higher price for CanniMed and would look to use its own stock, which has been on a tear alongside the rest of the Canadian cannabis industry.
The new transaction, which would give Aurora control of both CanniMed and Newstrike, could be announced as early as Monday, the people said, cautioning there is no certainty an agreement would be reached.
The people declined to be identified because they were not authorized to speak publicly about the talks.
"We said from the beginning that we'd be happy to sit down for friendly, collaborative discussions, so we're going in with an open mind and seeing what they have to say," Aurora Chief Corporate Officer Cam Battley told Reuters. "Perhaps there's an opportunity to do something on a friendly basis." (Reporting by John Tilak and Nichola Saminather; Editing by Denny Thomas and Matthew Lewis)
Oh hey there, I’m from the aurora board, guess we have this in common too. GLTU
Under the assumption the companies within Canada will be able to export cannabis globally, the restrictive law framework shouldn’t be too much of an issue. The demand globally, I.e Germany, Australia etc. could be big enough to really raise some market cap babayyy. Sure distribution maybe covered in red tape within Canada, but globally there much money to be made. Additionally cannabis isn’t so bad as alcohol (class a carcinogen) even so I’m not worrying my head too much over possible market inhibiting restrictions. Let’s watch aurora go global and sell millions of kilograms a year
Cannimed, Newstrike and aurora all up big to close... new talks with aurora and cmed... could it be that aurora will end up acquiring both companies?
So in essence the dilution is expected to be outpaced and overshadowed by the potential rampant growth of the cannabis industry globally.
This is the birth of a global industry man. What I think a lot of people are overlooking is the fact that sometimes technicals don’t actually predict the pps. The potential future value of this company is staggering if it becomes a global entity, which is the intent of the board. Look at the shares of BUSH for an idea of what a vice can do on the international market in terms of market cap. Right now you’re seeing the potential future value, which is actually unknown, being priced in and you’re also seeing the early reaction to the fact that, based on today’s news, the cannimed acquisition will almost certainly go through.
Wtf my share prices on yahoo watchlist just went bonkers bouncing from -15 to neutral. Anyone else see that?
What if this becomes an International conglomerate selling a cannabis all over the world. Sure the market cap for the world wide cannabis market has the potential to exceed 200 billion
