They're the best stocks to own the last couple of years. Hope trend continues.
Boom shakalaka. Finally reached $160.
That's huge. Hope he owns a lot of shares.
Missed the earnings. How did they do? Stock's down $2.
Pretty sure pullback's coming. Not idea when though.
Decent boost today. Still a great buy.
No. The reason behind it is that Cook issued a bigass buyback and drove the stock price to what we see now. That's literally the lamest and safest return to boost EPS.
Means it isn't exactly NEXT, is it? Since it was always here.
Well, there's that Bloomberg news service they're doing, but I'm not sure it's enough.
It was 50% cheaper just couple of months ago. Tell me, what exactly did they do for that to happen? What did that huge tech company do in the last three months that led to the 50% stock price increase?
If that's not overvalued, I don't know what is.
I have to disagree here, I don't see it that way. There is only so much space for advertisements. I can foresee FB raise prices, not lower them, once there is no more space.
I couldn't agree more. I have Echo in my place as well and it's super helpful. I am also considering buying Google Home, too. To see how it does, compare the two.

Yeah? What's gonna happen next week?
Why would they? Streaming and Content production isn't exactly their element.
Is it really covered in cloth?..
It's needed for $1000. Expecting to arrive there by the end of the year. Maybe even earlier.
What is the next big thing for Facebook? VR? Facebook video content? Monetizing Instagram and FB Messenger? All of those?
The more it stays at $10, the better. I'm adding every week here. Sometimes even twice a week. Long AMD.
That's because Cook issued a huge buyback. The biggest one in history, actually. Nothing good about it. It just shows they don't know what to do with all their cash, so they decided to inflate the stock price for no reason. Terrible approach.
I'm pretty happy with the stock, especially after the last earnings beat. I'm not planning to add more though, since it rose more than 40% in just two months. I'll wait for a pullback.
That's nice. Glad it's working out for you. I bought at late $30s and I'm very happy with my investment, too. Not sure if it's a good idea to buy more though. The stock seems a bit overpriced after the last earnings beat.

Earnings are today, right? Thoughts, anyone?
I see. Didn't expect it after their mediocre earnings
Almost $70 here. Any idea why it's up?
That's just not true. Their monthly active users number goes higher everything month.
I'm glad they are doing something to change things for better. We'll see how it works out in the next ER.
Yeah. Luckily it didn't affect the stock one bit.
I am fine with this as long as they don't invade my privacy.

I'm not so sure. Their management sucks, there's really no other way to put it.
One of the reasons FB's doing so well is because they never stagnate and constantly find new ways to improve AND monetize their users in the process. This is what separates it from Twitter, for example, whose innovations don't necessarily translate into profits.
I think the next big thing for FB is a venture into original video content.
I bought Twitter shares two times as well. First time at $15 two months ago. Next time at $14 right before the earnings. I'm hoping to see it at $20s by the end of the year.
