Makes sense GreenDragon420!
- those stop losses
- DEA rescheduling Epidiliox & Cannabinoids within 90days of GWPH's approval (what date would this be?)
- Farming/Hemp bill being passed Sept30
And,
- Canada legalization in 29days
- Aurora Q4 Sept25 Financials
- Aurora Uplisting
- cannaCoke
- add more here.....
.... and more more more
Good luck!
Q4 Aurora will likely begin posting the largest revenues in the industry.
Revenues will begin to rocket from here.
1B shares OS will soon mean nothing
Just my opinion
Thanks Cabos. How does one go about watching the EU markets when in Canada?
29days 'til Legalization
I like Jim Cramer but his facts are a little shaky...
Both Indica AND Sativa are for medical uses & so is Hemp, not just mj Indica. All produce cannabinoids.
CBD is largely predominent in Hemp with lower levels of THC
MJ Indica & Sativa both naturally produce higher levels of THC but there are many weed strains that are CBD prdominant.
CBD, THC, CBN, CBC... and all the other 110+ cannabinoids are produced in all varieties of Cannabis. The predominant difference making Sativa vs Indica are likely the terpenes and flavinoids.
There you go Jimmy.... its ALL GOOD!
By comparison for hemp CBD I found a recent article on Medmen growing 240acres of hempmCBD compared to Aurora's 4000acres...
https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/global-cannabis-market-is-a-budding-industry-that-s-just-getting-stronger-895313115.html
#s on CBD capacity?
How about 4000acres of hemp biomass in Europe....
https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/aurora-cannabis-acquires-europes-largest-organic-hemp-company-693036321.html
Next resistance $12.01CAD/$9.40USD
Jolly good show 'ol chap!
30days 'til Legalization
approx 26,000sh BID & ASK!
What is up?!?!
Wow a trading halt early in the morning
so exciting
Australis Capital invests in the cannabis industry, predominantly in the US
http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/205054/cannaroyalty-sells-stake-in-wagner-dimas-to-australia-cannabis-stock-climbs-205054.html
Yeah, I could understand hypothetically if an mj company staring out 15yrs from now did what ACB is doing (buying out companies and raisimg OS) and then this company can't pay the bills and gets squeezed due to competition, not enough capital, biz is tight, cash flow problems and the OS became large..... then you will likely see a reverse split.
But NOT when ACB has $230m in cash, a portfolio of revenue producing companies, is in a massively expanding indistry worth close to (or even over) a $Trillion and especially at a time when nothing but more and more money will be coming in each quarter.
Nope.... R/S doesn't make sense
Would this mean that because AUSA will be doing the investing, that ACB will no longer be buying out companies (and therefore no more OS increase)?
Or no?
.... because reverse splits are commonly done by companies which have overextended themselves, aren't making money and have a rocky future.
That's not the case with Aurora
I highly doubt a reverse split will happen considering they are uplisting & I definately wouldn't expect a share buy back any time soon... but it makes.sense to happen at some point in maybe 10yrs time
Green balls of fire!
Aurora is where its at,
Just sit around and have a chat.
One day, you will see...
nothing but a sea of $green$!
4000acres of unused hemp biomass to be used for CBD oil production??
Holy hempster, batman!
Hemp Hemp Hurray!!
".. along with the significant and previously unutilized CBD production from the large quantities of currently discarded biomass, makes this an accretive acquisition and one that positions Aurora well to become a global leader in organic CBD-based wellness products, said Terry Booth, CEO"
Additional hempy math....
1,000,000Kg of residual hemp waste (as per the Agropro EU article):
= 1,000,000,000g
= 35,211,368ounces of materials (stalk/flower...)
50cc of oil = approx 50g of oil
I figure 2oz produces approx 50g of CBD oil (using CO2 extraction)
880,281,690g
= 880,282Kg of CBD oil
1Kg of CBD oil = approx $13,000 (as per Oregon May2018)
$880,282 x $13,000
= $11.4T
Is this correct, can someone help figure what this residual hemp CBD 'waste/byproduct' is worth?
1 football field = 1.32acr
Therefore,
4000acr = 3030.30football fields
... of hemp
Whoa
Haha, yes you are correct!
Ok thanks, 4000acres is much more than I thought!!
"Aurora is already executing on a number of hemp food market opportunities, and intends to integrate Agropro's organic supply and distribution with Hempco's to enhance market access and accelerate growth of high margin, premium hemp-based product offerings."
4000acres is about the size of 24 small house lots, a small subdivision if you will.
A small hobby farm is 20acres.
In USA crops are grown by the 100acres lots, farming is huge.
I know a farmer in Canada who grows 45acres of garlic.
... just putting things into perspective
There has got to be more to it than this. I'm betting on more acquisitions of hemp farms in EU and Canada.
From the article:
"... market reach will be further strengthened through integration with Hempco..."
Concerning news re Agropro/Borela
The article states Agropro/Borela are Europe's largest hemp producers with 1600hc (4000acr) + addition 3000hc
1 hectare = 2.41 acres
Folks, 4000acres is NOT a lot to farm.
Canada alone is currently growing around 120k acres, said to be 2nd only to China. And 120k acres is not a lot.
Recent farmers I spoke with last weekend say 50k acres per farmer minimum is required to make a go.
So, how can 4000 acres for all of Europe mean anything and if that's the largest producer then this is kinda scary. 4000 acres is puni.
Am I missing something??
Ok, it totally doesn't make sense for Tilray to go to $108 and for Aurora to be at $9.50 when Aurora has so much more to offer.
Someone here once said its because of the oustanding shares & dilution but I just don't buy that anymore.
There aren't many mj companies trading on nyse/nasdaq so this has got to be the only reason for their pps to have gotten so high....
Exposure on a bigger exchange is key. I hope Aurora gets on the big boards before the the rest of the hurd does.
$$ACBFF$$ Let's take over Mars!
Go Go Go Yes Yes Yes
PPS up. Me happy.
glad me loaded up more sh.
Happy pps went up on ICC news
NOT at my expense!
Sorry Aurora, but at this point if you want to get bigger you gotta pay with YOUR money NOT MINE. Find investors or announce some great partnerships with big pharma, tobacco or alcohol to help with your expansion.
I don't care if it doubles their capacity, I'm not voting in agreememt for this.
This company always presents a double edge sword and we have to pay for it. Price goes down and what will we all do.... bail OR but more, crazy
True. I get what you're saying.
I'm sure as a 'spin-off' company there are many other benefits aside from direct cash investment. Aurora likely helped Australis raise the $17m, helped put people together, mtgs, contacts connections, listing....
And, as of last Qaurter there was something like $231m in cash as per Aurora balance statement... so who knows, we will see more investment related info in Q4.
Nice. Thanks!
No idea. But raising $17m on their own is a good thing
Aurora is spinning off a company called Australis
which is a company they own in Australia
which will be an investment company primarily for the usa
because in order for acb to uplist to nyse/nasdaq from cse a company cannot own any vested interest in usa mj companies.
Its dumb, but this is usa law
I hope I can buy more before the uplisting, this seems inevitable. It is the trend. So exciting.
We went up 73% in two weeks on someone else's news.
The Canna-group hug effect, haha!
I would buy more if I could.
Aurora is a tank, this seems a no brainer.
Makes total sense JP!
Yes!
So... if I remember correctly a while back Canopy specifically stated 'they will not invest in usa companies' and with that said because Canopy had no vested interest they were able to uplist right away.
Same deal I guess with Tilray, straight to the majors. I remember Aphria had to divest from usa and I don't believe they have uplisted yet?
Good call, man.
Onward and upward AURORA!
Sorry for double post
Don't know what hapenned there
Not really irrational at all, mj stocks started to tank early 2018 'cuz they ran up too high, were overvalued and are still overvalued.
Down down down until August, when big corps invested, expanded market value, thereby increasing marketcap by creating larger valuations based on a broader reach of product now in multiple industries.
I still think ACBFF will show highest $Revenues in Q4 compared to others. But so what, its already priced in.
Bank loans are great, but loans aren't based on share price. Banks get paid regardless.
We need this:
- Investors
- Uplisting to NYSE/Nasdaq (likely)
- Reduce OS (doubt this will happen soon)
- Partnerships with major whales (likely)
Access to larger distribution in multiple markes would be nice.
I believe, but am concerned.
