This is normal for TPIV and now MRKR of course. This is the same old song and dance!
Get yourself cooler, lay yourself low
Coincidental murder, with nothing to show
When the judge's constipation go to his head
And his wife's aggravation, you're soon enough dead.
It's the same old story, same old song and dance, my friend!
Wow!!! Back to 195 million market cap. Who would have dreamed. I just wish I had some serious cash to pick up more. I think anyone who could should buy now and not let this opportunity pass them by.
Six to twelve months from now we are going to look back and kick ourselves for not doing so.
I think we’re heading for basement bottom bargains-WOW!!!
Seems like they would approve considering the safety aspect alone, no real threat to safety, doesn’t seem like nothing to lose but a lot to gain even if it was only 1 life saved. You can’t put a value on a life unless your an insurance company-lol
I agree! I’m long and strong! Just letting out a little frustration-lol
I know Marker is on the right track, they have a strong team including a first class scientific board.
I will hold to the end.
GO MARKER!!!
I was really hoping that this run was the start of something new for TPIV, I mean MRKR. However, something inside me, a negative nagging was telling me different. We have seen this so many times where the hype became almost too much, where could this thing go? $20.00?, $50.00?, $100.00?, who knows, buying a house in Palm Springs, retiring at an early age etc...then here comes the reality, just another beat by the MM’s people who knows how it works. As far as we know, some of the very guy’s who’s pumping the excitement might be MM’s themselves-lol
I guess it’s back to waiting and watching and hoping we hear good news in the future.
Who wouldn’t have sold at $9.00 if we knew it was going back to $5.00. I seemed like one or two posters warned of the possibility of it happening I can’t go back far enough in the messages to see who it was and it really doesn’t matter at this point.
It’s a big let down to say the least. However, “tomorrow is always another day!”
NWBO is a perfect example of what your saying!
Thank you for sharing Phantom!
Yes, I value PL comments. I would like to know his take on the latest happenings.
Thanks in advance PL!
Yes, I can’t remember how long I have been in tpiv. I was trying to go back in my E*TRADE account to see my history of trading Tpiv, and I go back to when it was trading under a dime a couple of reverse splits etc... long before I got on iHub. I can remember blue commenting many years ago.
It seems like they made a lot of mistakes. I know many would get mad at Dr. Wilson for some of the decisions he made. However, I really think he had/has best intentions. It was a great decision to purchase MRKR.
I think some of us longs have been long for so long that TPIV/MRKR has become part of us-lol
It will succeed somehow and the people who really need the science will get better and those of us who have been invested so long will get rewarded for our wait.
I will have to check it out.
Thanks!
I think Jeff has it right on his Post #27718
I think in the next few days, weeks, months and quarters we will see a drastic increase in evaluation and it will not be just day traders manipulating the SP but real value based upon real results.
This is a great company! Been long, longer than I can remember-lol
Where’s Blue....?
Where’s RK......?
If I had any powder I would load up at these prices.
Looks like the shorts new what they were doing-lol
Are you saying Marker is the treatment that Bob Gibson will be going with or just a general statement informing us that he has PC and then cheering on Marker like it should be the treatment he goes with?
Just curious. Would like to read the article you got the info from.
Thanks!
12-1 found it.
Could someone please remind me what the last reverse split was before TPIV listed to the NASDAQ?
I can’t remember if it was 1-10 or 1-12.
Thanks!
I would guess that with these moneymakers being able to manipulate the stock price in this way keeps the stock price suppress. While the Mm’s are making money controlling the price the average Joe has to wait longer to make a good return on their hard earned invested money and that’s only if the company your invested in is a great company like MRKR. I’m not saying that those fortunate enough to purchase warrants are doing anything wrong, I’m just saying that the big MM’s working together to control direction of the stock price is wrong.
Well that makes sense. If the warrant holders are allowed to short and cover with their warrants they have no risk as long as the stock price continues to be higher than what their warrants are locked in at. No wonder there are no shares left to short. This has to be what’s happening otherwise it makes no sense for the average trader to short under the price increase.
Has to be professional MM’s block trading with each other and controlling prices. It’s the only logical answer that makes sense. I don’t know how they do it but if it was you or I we would lose our tail. Why else would the short sales be up as the price goes up. Maybe they are controlling the rhythm of the trades and working the system, buying and running the price up and then shorting at the peak and walking it down.
Who knows, it’s above my expertise for sure-lol
Don’t know how many remember the days when we used to get one or two comments every week in the early days around 2007 but it is nice to see all the chatter. It’s been mostly positive except for a couple of posters over the years.
I think we long’s are going to be happy we hung in there.
Looks like you’re correct it looks like it’s going down!
Hey Phantom,
Thanks for posting this. I wasn’t sure if Motley Fool or just the writer of the article that was not very credible.
I agree with you when you say the article is trash.
The fact that he said “Does the ASCO rejection of the pancreatic cancer program abstract mean the preliminary results aren’t that impressive?” Then states “It may not be a great sign for the technology platform for investors.”
The fact that he said what he said when he himself knows that ASCO rules prohibits clinical outcomes from being presented is dirty, rotten, pool. It’s just enough to put a doubt or a dark cloud in someone’s mind.
I see this all the time in business. You don’t have to say or necessarily talk bad about your competitor all you have to do is plant a seed of doubt, like someone says to you, “Oh, so-in-so called you, hmmmm..”
Now you start thinking, what’s up with so-in-so-lol Before you had no problem with so-in-so but now you have a doubt about him-lol
It’s not right but people like the writer of this article does it all the time.
Does anyone have thoughts about the article that was written on April 17, 2019 by Max Chatsko?
Here are a couple of excerpts:
“Marker therapeutics list eight different clinical programs for its MultiTAA T cell platform, and another six programs using different approaches.
That can be viewed in a number of ways. Perhaps it harbors a lot of potential, or suggest the company has a lack of focus. Either way, taking 14 clinical programs in to mid and late stage trials will be awfully expensive, especially for a company valued at just 250 million that ended 2018 with only 62 million in cash and cash equivalents. Any delay in reporting data which could send the stock higher or give Wall Street something to cling to just reduces an already minuscule margin of error.”
“ Marker therapeutics needs to deliver a win from its bulging pipeline soon to justify its immuno oncology approach. This isn’t the news Wall Street wants to read.”
Thoughts anyone!
If this has been addressed, I’m sorry, I must have missed it.
Thanks in advance!
I have a question to throw out. A while back it was posted that there were blocks of shares trading at the close of the day, something like 250,000 at a time and It didn’t change the share price each time.
It was said by a poster that large brokerage companies could do this between themselves without changing the market price. When we sell or buy, it drastically changes the price either direction.
Thus My question:
What if the short sellers are large brokerage companies selling short and buy to cover in large blocks from other brokerage companies not changing the market share price? Therefore, they make control the price at the same time making profit.
I’m not a seasoned trader, I just know enough to lose money-lol
Nice article! Very encouraging!
Thank you Phantom and have a good day!
Hello Phantom,
I have a question for you, if it’s been answered before already then feel free to ignore, in fact if it hasn’t been answered, feel free to ignor-lol
I know you are busy doing research and other things.
What is ASCO and what’s the significance that MRKR was denied acceptance for the upcoming convention or meeting etc.?
Thanks in advance!
ERG
I agree!!! What does it take to get a decent market share?
That answered my question. Thanks for taking time to respond.
Hello Hanscott,
How does the approaches you mention compare to Markers approach?
TIA
Is there an announcement or something of something good?
Must be according to the share price-lol
Just a little sarcasm to start the day!
Go MRKR!
This is the same problem we had with TPIV for years, no communication with shareholders unless they needed to raise money.
I hope that it’s different now with new merger and new president.
I agree 100% with that comment! While many of us let out our frustrations, Phantom is always calm, cool, logical and methodical about his reply’s.
Glad he’s on this board!
I think the shorts (mm’s)knows what they are doing. They can manipulate the price when they want and drive it up or down.
It’s only when there is big demand to purchase or sell (volume trading) going on that limits their ability to some extent.
That’s my guess-lol
Janney must have got the word out today-lol
Last time I looked at MRKR we were running over six and reading all these posts about shorts going to be in trouble and we’re going to be $14.00 plus by years end etc....
Then I thought, let me take a look and see if we are mid $6.00-$6:50 at close and low and behold we’re down .50 some-lol
What was I actually thinking..... gotta quit watching the day to day movement, gonna depress me and then I’m not going to get anything done-lol
Krispy Kreme just opened a new store in our town and several people took off work and camped out to be the first in line for free donuts. I never understood why anyone would take 2 days off work to be the first 100 customers to win 1st prize a dozen donuts each week for a year; 2nd prize a dozen donuts each month for a year and 3rd prize 98 people would win 1 donut each week for 52 weeks, then it dawned on me, they don’t have a job. Otherwise just work and pay for the donuts-lol
Must be good because the Hot sign has been on all day and there has been an average 20-25 cars in line. Should have invested in Krispy Kreme-lol
I guess the shorts knew what they were doing shorting the stock. Things that make you go Hmmmm...
Go Marker, Go! You can do it! You can do it!
(First though, take your gear out of reverse and put in in drive)
Nothing like sitting stranded on the tarmac waiting...waiting....etc....
I appreciate your reply!
Just can’t stop looking at the day to day price-lol I do it against better judgement-lol
Will remain patient!
Thanks again Phantom!
