Next time you chat with Ben just tell him to share a little love to us longs!
Shouldn’t have to ask. FUNN set up the mechanism and promise to do this. They choose to ignore us shareholders. Sad! We need new management that cares about its investors.
Something needs to happen quickly, for those of us that have invested cash here and brought others into FUNN that do the same. Years of suffering losses for no reason (Covid aside), this company has been an embarrassment. I don’t like to speak negatively about FUNN but damn, there isn’t anything positive to say anymore. Until management wakes the f$&k up and crawls out of their hole, I don’t see anything positive.
I would be forever grateful! You would still have after acquiring FUNN 999,999m more than me. I will still take my million and run from FUNN unless you get a hell of a Mngt team! Then I double down. Have a good weekend everyone and good luck to all those that gamble not only in Pennie’s but lotteries too.
Holly cow, I completely forgot about Utah. This company sucks at PR. Seriously, I am not kidding all the news I saw was LA getting a store then loosing it days later. Then Smashburger or whatever that hamburger thing was joining then nothing! BEN, you suck at managing PR. I seriously wish we investors “that actually have put real money into this company” could get a damn actual update. Why is it so HARD? What the hell? We just want to know if the cash we parked here for 1/2 a decade is doing something!!!!! Ben you owe it to us, please do something! Silence is not helping anyone including you!
I beginning to take solace knowing that some of our forum members have been in communication with the elusive pair and they certainly know that there is discord amongst shareholders.
I can only hope and pray there is something happening that we just are not privy to, yet!
PONGF (Atari) has its own demons they are dealing with. Started following them when we learned FUNN was possible in talks with a California gaming company. These two negatives perhaps would make a positive, be interesting. Shareholders are furious in both camps with their management. Fitting!
I have no doubt about that! I just wish we took advantage of the industry. Even typing Board Game Cafe into Google doesn’t get a jump out from S&L. You have to go into Meeplemountain and learn about us.
The frustration is growing. If it was my own company I would be all over the capitalization but it’s not. I/we have to sit back and watch Ben do NOTHING to promote our investment.
Fast Food Chains
A&W
White Castle
Dairy Queen
McD’s
Dunkin Donuts
In n Out
Jack in the Box
KFC
Dennys
Sonic
Board Game Cafe Chains
Now watch this video!
If we had a franchise systems and process in place, these could have been S&L’s. We missed the ticket there!
Every fast food chain did it after McD’s pioneered the concept. It must work!
Again, for the life of me, I don’t see this management team capitalizing on low hanging fruit like franchising. Sad! We could control the whole BGC industry or at least solidify ourselves as being the big dog in the porch.
What if this company in Philly finds a whale of a backer and puts a real expansion team together to go after new markets. S&L would get credit for having a great idea and that’s about it.
It’s time we find new management that’s going to address these issues or sell the business now to a larger company that is looking for bolt on expansion ideas, either way, I feel we continue to spin our wheels at or below a penny PPS.
Dryworld just dropped a new newsletter. Great read!
Unfortunately I do t do any social media aside from iHub. Anyone feel free to post it there on their Twitter site. If that’s why it takes to get it in front of Ben. He needs to know shareholders are loosing faith in his abilities. I’m not losing faith in the concept, just managements operating style, namely Ben.
I’m so disappointed in FUNN management for putting shareholders into this “trapped” situation. I invested here over six years ago on a novel concept that had huge aspirations and was making things happen. Today, I find myself holding a bag sizable for a forklift and a management team that’s gone underground for the most part, doing the minimum to get by. There is absolutely no need for any of this treatment. Address the shareholders, put a respectable business plan together with stainable and tangible targets and keep investors informed along the way. Why is this so difficult to grasp? This is the fundamental way to run a public company. Make a plan, work the plan, report on plan!
For all of us, I truly hope Ben has been working during this shareholder “quiet time” to bring value to us all. As of right now, investing in the bond market would have paid off handsomely vs parking cash here.
If anyone has his their ear, please convey this. I’m done emailing or calling, it’s pointless.
Best news I g he Ave heard in a long time. Hopefully they take over management of the company too.
Ben needs to go! NOW! Zero trades, Shitty CE stocks trade more than this does.
Today was overall - uneventful- in terms of share price movement. Surprising to be honest. It will come, we are looking very good based on that update last night.
Just checked in, been out of pocket. Have to say I’m a bit surprised we are not at $.50. Has this not hit the mainstream vein?
Let’s launch this rocket to the moon!
Was just reviewing the 3-yr chart for FUNN. If that’s not a telling picture of what to do and not to do! after CV-19 shut the country down there was a massive drop, raised a bit then lack of coms brought it back down. Then came Rogen and a big upswell in PPS. Rogen leaves and it’s been a steady downfall in PPS, again.
If the writing isn’t on the wall for Ben, I don’t know what else is. He’s isn’t doing investors any favors by his silence.
Shame on him!
Not getting any younger, Ben. Like to reap the rewards of my investment before I kick the bucket.
So, if you wouldn’t mind, a little shareholder love would be much obliged.
Whenever and however it goes today, here’s hoping for a green close!
I sure hope your right DFLY. The silence has been way to nerve racking and it’s time for some love to shareholders. Something has got to give, I just hope it’s for the better.
Let’s hope this week breaks the drought and Ben, provides some much needed and very overdue updates to shareholders on what is going on with the company.
Almost the 12th, news due out!
Did you tell him shareholders think he’s done a runner and left the building?
Perhaps today we hear something? Should I hold my breath? Ben, you there?
What was going on with L2 today? Traded ~500k shares and the price never changed.
I pray Ben has something up his sleeve and the silence is warranted. If he doesn’t and we don’t hear something soon, ouch!
How hard is it to just update the investors? This stock price is deplorable given the amount of revenue that “should” be coming in.
What’s it going to take to get an update from management? I realize they have zero obligations to provide us anything but the basics however, there is a lot of updates that shareholders are due to learn about.
I see Ben hasn’t taken the bull by the horns yet! Another less than stellar (non-FUNN) week shaping up. Thank you, Ben for your lack of transparency and commitment to shareholders. Setting the bar for how not to be a CEO.
That is not the case here and your completely taking JRF’s post out of context. He’s still an investor in FUNN and he wouldn’t consider himself an “insider”.
Godspeed John, enjoy your next life’s chapters. Thanks for all you have done to support FUNN over the years.
It’s a sad state of affairs when shareholders have to ask if the man at the helm is still with the company. That’s how dark management has gone towards shareholders. That alone speaks volumes about who’s running things at HQ.
It’s not a difficult thing to do and he doesn’t have to be formal about it. The Q&A is useful and informative and it’s our prerogative as shareholders to believe it and invest accordingly. But the lack of communication gets everyone on all sides fired up and pissing fire at each other.
I honestly don’t know what else to do. Email after email to him how’s unanswered. Sounds like everyone else is the same from what I read. He’s hearing it but chooses to ignore it.
For everyone’s sake, I hope what some speculated here that there is a larger deal happening for FUNN is true. Time for a shakeup.
Not FUNN anymore!
Come on ‘Ben let’s make some magic happen before the Fourth of July weekend gets here! It’s been a long time since we’ve seen some fireworks around here!
Still nothing from Ben, email after email asking for an update. Not even a thx. response. It’s incomprehensible to me his actions towards shareholders.
Exciting times. Added more down below $.10, cannot wait for the explosion here.
What the heck does this even mean? #IFKYK
The fact that so many folks are hammering Ben via email about his atrocious behavior towards shareholders and it appears to have zero effect makes me extremely nervous for the future of FUNN. A simple monthly update would go a LONG way around here but he won’t even do that. What’s his fundamental problem with shareholders? This is a public company after all.
Second, what the heck is Rodger doing? He’s still the “chairman” of the company although that would be impressive at a high company but it’s FUNN after all so that doesn’t hold much water. Why the hell can’t he speak up? What’s he been doing all this time.
If the longs are not getting a response to serious questions I have a feeling they are either going to flip this or ditch this. They don’t seem to show much interest.
I still can’t believe the email Shawn22 received from Ben. He calls out poor performance and that he was personally going to address it. That was ~5months ago.
Piss-poor Ben! Piss-poor, you should be ashamed to be in the leadership position your in.
Come on guys, what is going on with IBGR? Yield sign still up, share price retreating faster than a Spring low tide. What am I missing? Nothing has fundamentally changed here other than a very persistent yield sign and no word from management.
What a shit trading week. Had high-hopes we would hear something. Instead we lost the plot! It’s only money, right?
I’m at a loss for words. This company has no leadership that is willing to support shareholders interests. Truly sad, hoped this week would have had a little sparkle, instead it had very little volume and certainly didn’t increase in PPS. Sad state Ben has put this company into.
