Take V tasty...you’ll live longer to hear more great news drive the pps down
BB quote “ I don’t care if the pps goes to $5” said 2-3 months ago...yeah right...appears to be having a meltdown.
Pharma...that is Canada, here our bureaucratic government would take lights years to approve and implement...and the only ones on this msg board who have that kinda time are the 75+ year old guys like JL and Bb and the others in the Gia crowd!
THats my point in reference to sts66 comment about only having quarterly estimates...
Odd...sts, then how does management know how well the drug rep is doing if they can’t tract scripts? How do they know how effective is the doc if they don’t know how many scripts he is writing? How do they know if scripts are being denied by insurer? If they can’t drill down to weekly or monthly detail then they are in a world of pain because they can’t right the ship if they don’t see the iceberg in time....
Dan...these arguments have merit...for the gia path. Would not expect any signicant rise in pps until those scripts/revs pop significantly. It sucks cause i wanted a bo as waiting since 2012 has been like a prison sentence and some oth inmates on this board need to be in solitary lol
I Agree Cardio...it’s similiar across many sales professions...
Marki...can you imagine Amarin without single drug rep aka no sales force...wonder how the pps would do? How many institutional holdings? Oh wait thats right, Bhatt can be everywhere speaking to the masses! How bout you hose marketing commercials we’ve been seeing lately...wait what commercials?
Cbb...im not sure a retired plastic surgeon near 80 is necessarily on top of businessman practices by a clinic of md’s. He never could explain why in the warren clinic system here in Oklahoma there is a room dedicated to drug reps visiting the clinics...and gee, I wonder where they get all their wonderful drug samples...Amazon?
Cantor has noted that Symphony has data capture issues across the board. All numbers are lower than reported.
Looks like 400 drug reps making progress...much better than Kowa! Course the Aha and Acc certainly made it easier...
Canadian healthcare...gotta love it....hope the FDA takes notice! Corrupt slime heads.......
Another adcom?....On Thursday, Amarin said it was operating under the assumption that the sNDA will be reviewed over a standard ten months resulting in a PDUFA date near the end of January 2020, and that it expects the regulator with organize an advisory committee meeting of outside experts to deliberate and recommend whether Vascepa’s label should be expanded before the FDA makes its final decision.i
Amarin takes application to expand Vascepa label to the FDA as M&A chatter heats up

“Drug reps waste of time”.....I can not believe some of the bs posted on this board with commentary such as this, and that docs are better served going to seminars instead...today I saw my pcp...an office of 6 docs...and I noticed a sign for drug reps outside a room reserved for...drug reps. I asked my doc about this comment about drug reps...he laughed...said their were good ones and bad ones...but he couldn’t imagine a world without them.
Writing for Jefferies at the end of February Michael Yee said, "We continue to think Vascepa checks many boxes as a wholly owned potential blockbuster that would do even better in the hands of big pharma global distribution." He sees a 71% potential to the stock, and gives it a $30 price target.
Hoping for a better buyout price...but i gotra go with Yee over ye ol saltdog JL lol!
Jeffkad, V will sell itself...according to JL as quoted in some of his posts. He also believes drug reps are a waste of time. So if everyone can wait 2-3 years , we will be amply rewarded. Many of us choose to disagree, and like your post, feel that V will see significant growth in the hands of a larger and greater pharma! As the old saying goes...show me the money!
Consider a rep that hopes to keep his/her job in lieu of possible buyout. Do you think acquiring company would want to retain a rep with littles sales closing or pipeline oppty in advanced stages? Doesnt matter whether company is large or small....i want reps with performance achievements!
Drug reps are paid to sell...or they are shown the door...that simple bo or no bo!
“Nothing sells itselff”...not according to the great JL...why amarin doesn’t even need drug reps..waste of time...per our esteemed board memeber.
Conspiracy? How is that? since r-it was a trial based on patients on statins taking 4g of V! How is the Statinista companies threatened? One could look at it and say it makes statins more effective perhaps?
Thankyou Cardio...maybe herper and fuerstein as well may learn from this. As for our esteemed board member hopefully he can step down from his perch and read it too.
JL...i know what you’ve stated in the past...just like last time you said you me on ignore...
Marki... believe part of the problem is all the rah rah on this board with Gia or bo comment should warrant pps being 100-300 for sure in wait, 1, no 2 no 3 years lol. When JL starts with comments this drug will sell itself and not need sNDA expanded label a few months ago to oh yeah, need cardiologists to understand epa moa and sNDA expeditied by FDA....then you got BB yelling same rah rah....well it sure comes off as drinking way too much koolaid. I being one of the minions on this board will gladly settle for a buyout this year instead of the so called golden goose in 2023 lol.
Herper only has best interest of the public in mind, he just wants everyone to hold off on V and take chance with a cardio event, maybe even death so that strength trial can prove to be better!

Hope everyone is still awake....considering presentations preceding ours...
Hopefully there’s no bs sell off cause of herpes and fart stain. But the sNDA submission maybe the golden tix. I just don’t have the stomach for short term options...good luck!
A $16k bet...balls of steel. What strike?
Gotcha! Wished I had known this months ago lol.
Just got off phone with fidelity...I can repurchase same stock with proceeds of prior sale without waiting 2-3 days. However, I must wait to sell the same shares 3 days that I repurchased. Appreciate the clarity from those that responded.
Settled funds...still a bit confusing. So say i only have Amarin shares and no cash left in my tax deferred retirement acct which is by sec rule is cash only, not marginable, and I sell all or part of my position, do I have to wait 3 days to repurchase the same stock ? Because technically the proceeds of the sale are considered unsettled funds right?
Zip/FFS...the April 18 options look like a big payday for call buyers...so if acc or sNDA submission doesn’t propel the pps to 25+ you expect the same outcome as this week?
FFS...yes, exactly, that’s why I haven’t traded in that account. But if the call seller pattern is consistent, I would have time to buy back in a t lower pps...of course it’s still a risk!
Zip...thanks. I think what you posted has merit and I will start paying closer attention. My problem in the past with selling in my rollover is the issue of 3 day settlement before funds are there for future purchase.
Zip...no. My core long holding is in a rollover ira (tax deferred). So for example, I could have sold all or part of my position prior to the call sellers activity, then bought back in at the lower pps. ( the logic being of course what you described as a known pattern with option expiration).
Zip...not arguing your logic...however by the same token one could trade out of a long position and buy back in after right...without tax consequence if shares traded were in a tax deferred account?
Invest...you do realize a number of pósters on this board...originally came from YMB right lol....?
After 8 years of holding and accumulating, a BO would be like getting a presidential pardon. As a matter of fact, if holding Amarin is anything like spending time in our penal system, then I will definitely keep my nose clean!
New rumor over on YMB...sNDA next week, fast track in 2 months..Pfe buyout at $80 after sNDA submission.
As always...only a rumor but oh the dreams!
CIti report not exactly glowing...hope the 400 reps can overcome the percent somwhat familiar or not at all. And the pre Auth issue...would think the NNT would opens insurers eyes...
From sub $3 to 23...and the crying continues! Lol as someone pointed out earlier...pure entertainment maybe even like jerry springer show!
June 2016 article...slick.
