Unlike us in hurricane alley, you might not have much time to prep.
But then again, the birth of a volcano would surely outshine a little blow job, so any prep work may go un noticed... For the next 2000-5000 years.
The banks insurance company?
Megas will cover the short because that's the only way this will ever trade again.
Not according to the SEC's findings
...precious metals and diamonds. During this time period, Pino issued new BClT certificates to himself and to promoters to, in his words, "get the market moving," because "we needed liquidity and the dollar volume of the stock to be higher." In all, Pino issued over 238 million shares of these new BClT stock certificates bearing forged signatures of BCIT's president and former secretary.
IMO the brokers need to cover what they've already sold.
Well, there's been three quakes off the coast in five or six days, so my bet...
Hiding under his kitchen table with all the utilities cut off at the curb. Or sitting in his car reading the Wall Street Journal, again.
No, Bill, there's no gators in Minnesota.
The heavy hitch is for pulling fat, drunk women home from the honkey tonk.
Subject: Scientific Heart Attack Research
After an exhaustive review of the research literature, here's the final word on nutrition and health:
1. Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.
2. Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.
3. Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.
4. Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.
5. Germans drink beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.
CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.
The U S Government Is Trying To Correct This Problem
Don't feel bad, DB probably has trouble sleeping as well, and much deserved, with a 4.9 off the coast of OR last night.
Bingo. But I don't think, wth 4-5 million post split, they'll be able to pull 2 billion shares out of thin air to "make a market".
For at least 30 days.
Keep your hopes up!
Just as luck would have it...
Sweet Friday the 13th to all.
Finally, some news worth commenting on...
Man feels fine after being shot in head by nailgun
AP
Posted: 2008-06-10 20:07:47
SHAWNEE, Kan. (AP) - A suburban Kansas City man accidentally fired a 2.5-inch nail into the top of his head, but says he now feels fine after a doctor used a claw hammer to remove it. The mishap occurred Friday while George Chandler, of Shawnee, and a friend were working on a backyard project.
The nail gun hose became tangled, causing the powerful tool to fire once. Chandler said Monday he told his friend he didn't know where the nail went, but he felt a sting on the top of his head.
Soon they discovered that the nail was driven into Chandler's skull, so they called an ambulance. He was rushed to a hospital, where a doctor used a common claw hammer to remove the nail, Chandler said.
Chandler said he feels "very lucky, very, very lucky" to have escaped serious injury.
Keyword, "often". Now go look it up and quit personally attacking me.
Some are going to be thrilled Mr. Megas is spending more money on legal staff right out of the box. I feel badly for the guy, yet I highly commend him for never giving up. And I sincerely hope all his legal fees and unwarranted travel expenses are justified in the end.
A little note from the cyber world...
P.S. ; We shorters are really rooting for the longs.
The faster the BisCuITs are ever allowed to be re-mixed,
the sooner we can 'fake-short' many more. By the way,
bcit's are still shorted, world-wide. Just not in the U.S.
Is this the "rompin' & stompin' we're supposed to be expecting?
Business as usual? I wouldn't bet against a man who's been brave enough to go where no CEO has gone before.
Nice... The name change. Been doing business for nearly a year already?
You crack me up. I think the dems have a better shot if mr. smoothie is in the captains chair, 'cause too many of their own people are sick of the republicans bullshit. Funny, just a few years ago the fine folks at fox were predicting the demise of the donkeys. Now the shoe's on the other foot. "Lesser of the two evils at the moment" is a phrase I expect to be hearing soon (hope nobody already said it, 'cause Steve will accuse me of watching too much t-v).
Besides, you're the only one I know who'd vote for a girl. Hitlary's best bet is grabbing the coat tails hoping for unfortunate circumstances.
She went to Yale, but are girls allowed into the skull & bones clubhouse? 'Cause I'm thinkin', if not, she may have one hell of an axe to grind.
Shit, lookie there... shield & spear, punctured missionaries, biological limits of humanity, jumper cables, hot check-out lady... Got me talkin' politicks again.
Certainly plenty to choose from.
Probably been shorting their own stocks...
Never had one, but wouldn't shorting your own stock be like doing your sister?
I've been looking hard at some of them at 52 week lows, but no matter how ya slice it, I think all of the banks are in deep shit. But then again, we are most likely going to be the one's pulling them out of it, like it or not, and therefore, a good solid investment.
I shoulda been a Democrat. LOL
Is anybody attending the First Annual Shareholder's meeting tomorrow? If rule 203 is enforced I may be able to attend the rest of them, but I've run out of options on this one.
Never know, recent developments may sway one's (or both's) vote. How about an impromptu vote on an immediate share buyback with no R/S at these prices?
I wonder why they'd want to hide that little gem? Looks like a great bedtime story to read the kids.
Scottrade: Your proxy was mailed out on the 20th, but unfortunatly they don't arrive in time in some cases.
JupiterJosh: Where was it mailed from, Russia?
ST: We can email you a proxy number, but unfortunatly they often cut off the voting at noon on the day before, and we've already passed that point.
JJ: Nevermind, how about a proxy number so I can try voting online?
ST: (Highly agitated voice) Please hold....
Took almost a half hour, but I got the number and made my vote count, much to the dismay of Scottie.
Correct, and the DTC may be responsible for those "extras" sold between June 13th (Megas' report of initial findings) and August 14th.
Maybe that's their way of not admitting or denying guilt, to simply hang up when they can't answer questions.
At least they didn't try pinning it on someone else like many others have, and continue to do.
Mr. Megas is right. The beef is with the brokers. They're the ones who kept on passing out shares that didn't exist. With no enforcement to ever go out and find real ones, they even let it run to collect more money per sale, knowing it would crash on cue when they were done.
Great example of another negative effect from shorts, naked shorts, air shares, FTD's or whatever term strikes one's fancy.
33% extra votes could certainly sway company direction and decisions. If they vote for things like S-8's, it makes it much easier to continue shorting.
Heck, I bet they could short one right into bankruptcy if they chose to do so, but I'm sure there's not that much evil in the market...
Still no proxy here, checked all mail boxes & spam folders. Scottrade will have some serious explaining to do Monday morning. The first thing I plan on asking is, "Do you mind if I record this conversation on tape?"
hemmana, hummana, haw, oh chit...
The last one is false...
'Cause I've fixed an electrical problem with a hammer before.
Good point, one that should not get lost in the mix here.
For 2.5 months the MM's traded air shares to "maintain an orderly market". The only thing they were interested in was collecting as much money as possible from investors, and then pull every string in the box to keep it all -- and they're still trying, as evidenced by the failure to timely notify all shareholders of the upcoming proxy vote.
AMAZINGLY SIMPLE HOME REMEDIES
1. If you're choking on an ice cube simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat. presto! The blockage will instantly remove itself.
2. Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting
someone else to hold while you chop.
3. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by using the sink.
4. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.
5. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button.
6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you'll be afraid to cough.
7. You only need two tools in life - WD- 40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
8. Remember: Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
9. If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
I know it's about 15% too late now, but I forgot to include the ticker symbol to go with that post.
DIGA
I don't approve of what their hidden agenda may be, but there's some serious interest in it.
Megas, imo, was a player in this game from the very beginning.
Stunning. Did you come here to echo the sentiments of others, or did you just think of that all on your own?
Yeah, I guess nobody's taught him how to claen his grill under racing conditions... Fall into line behind the 24 and brush hard from left to right.
Poor Smoke, too much pressure and t-v commercials = no time for anger management classes. I'd like to read the email he probably shot out to goodyear this morning. But the truth is, he had plenty of time to get a couple of right side tires. I think Zippy should be canned for making that screw up.
Weren't the Myans, Atlantians and a bunch of others basically wiped out, say, around 3600 years ago?
How could you sleep at a time like this!?!
A Dodge out front...
Montoya & Stewart swapping paint for 19th place...
Good stuff.
LOL Good call! The 07 running dead last already, behind even Kyle Petty.
I predict the 88 putting the 18 into the wall before the night's over, if he can catch him. Pretty good rivalry shaping up between the good guy and the bad boy.
Yeah, I've been too busy to stay up to speed, so I'll need about three more hours before placing my picks. :)
At least you're honest, a trait you share with Denny Hamlin, from what I saw last night.
...Perfect example of why the top three drivers don't get together right away on a stage after a NASCAR race. We take things a little more seriously here.
Hope those Penske teams are able to straighten out their frames. They've been dog tracking worse than a happy pup.
BTW, you skipped right over the 07 again, FWIW, BWTFDIK?
I'm not makin' it up, it's a fact written in bold & white, webbie. The feds have been aware of this since before August 1st 2005, which means they also saw MM's let it continue to trade out of control for the next month, and for two of those weeks, AFTER being warned by their bosses at the SEC, that the stock had a problem with availability of real shares.
I think if this were a "sham", as you're so quick to label it, Megas would've been in trouble a long time ago. This illegal activity by market insiders has been detected and very well documented, and I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see the SEC take at least an ass chewing before it's all said & done.
Maybe we'll even have some whistle blowing to make our party complete. Wouldn't that just be cooler than a cow's wet, dirty tail upside yer head?
The cookie's beginning to crumble.
Little chunks first.
Aren't ya'll glad to see someone (the FBI) finally going where the SEC refuses to go?
Huh? What the hell does illegal finders fees have to do with the feds cracking down on the lowlife scum illegaly shorting and bribing?!?
LOL That's a nice way of putting it. I think he's pissed off everyone from Putin to the Pope, and probably his parents too. I bet his English teachers have considered relocation abroad, complete with identity change and facial modifications.
I tell ya what, whoever gets elected has got his work cut out for him. He's only gonna please half the people, and he needs to please the right half (no hidden message intended).
Saw a mini van the other day, said "Runs on water", and some dot com tag I couldn't focus on due to the cop on my ass. Saw a Lincon Towncar one day, said "caution, conserving fuel" or something like it, rolling at about the speed of an Oliver 770 in second gear with a quarter throttle. Dodging 45 MPH scooters everywhere I go is also a riot. Did I mention I was about fed up with south florida traffic? May be time for a vacation...
Kinda leaves ya speechless, I know...
Either that or ya'll have nothing nice to say, and you're just being gentlemen.
Whatever the case, looks like SWHC fell off a cliff and would be almost a 100% gainer if it hits ten.
Well, he looks pretty interested, and comfortable with it, so I suspect we will be also.
Just have to keep my wading/waiting boots on 'til then.
Oh yeah, does this look familiar? LOL
Pull cord and open box...
I hope. Still dying to see what was in that sealed box in Oklahoma.
Retreat, cave in, sell out...
Help nekid short it back into the ground, rompin' & stompin' right alongside Scammy Pammy & Mario the Meat Head...
They've grasped at straws so intently, they now keep pulling the same ones.
Crazy varmits.
Hell, I don't care who votes for who, but ya gotta listen to Uncle Ted here for 7.5 minutes...
