Huh, maybe we shouldn't worry about the share price...
given current revenue growth, there's no reason to sell until at least .03, i'll take another 98k of cheapies, thank you very much sellers.
330 pounds of cooling fans to http://www.elnagroup.com/ huh? I guess they wouldn't be shipping ginseng or grapes to the US as wisconsin and california alone export tons of those products by themselves. There is no clear picture that i can glean, from what i have seen, of this company. Bottom line is I'm not buying. I thank you all for your responses and wish you the best of luck.
I'm not sure what the take-away is supposed to be from that.
Ah, so the subsidiary has a bunch of shares that it could sell. that makes more sense.
I know i'm extremely new to this stock so please bare with me. any idea where the money came from that they did not fund? it'd suck to see a bunch of shares dumped in as soon as it runs up.
well, whatever is happening, i'm glad the share price isn't taking the beating it took in Dec. It would seem that most people think this is worth, at least, around $.16 I'd buy more now in hopes of the news we all want to hear, but i couldn't bare to see the share price go down as it always does whenever i buy (last was 08DEC14), while money i've put elsewhere has been much more productive...like flipping snow blowers here in Boston...
2000@.0107, sounds like someone has their white cap and overalls on...
every time i walk past my L2 monitor i think of this...
While i agree that there are a lot of prescription drugs that can go away and leave a better world, mainly ssri's, there is no arguing that people are living longer today in this country due to modern medicine and all of its foibles.
I have a friend who is an off grid, organophile, who shuns modern medicine (4 kids home birthed with no prenatal care 1 hour from the nearest hospital) that tries to make the agrument that he will live longer than myself and the rest of our friends due to his lifestyle to which we can say, statistically brother that's just not true.

Even with the crap in food today that certainly wasn't there in the late 1800's in America, we live longer lives across the board due to medical inovations and insights from penicillin to the idea that maybe you should eat more vegetables and less bacon while striking fatback from your diet entirely.
I think there is a lot of money for qtmm to make preventing counterfeit drugs and the administration of incorrect medicines. I speak as someone who's grandmother may have had easily another 10 years if not for a modern medical misstep taken while in icu for a fall. But hey 89 was more than she ever hoped for and more time than any of us deserved with her so our family never filed a claim. I really see the value to society in the proper identification of drug by being able to scan pills (maybe pharmacies won't be so slow too!)
I know i wouldn't trade share one of my OCL# to fund this, would you?
I'm not sure where that number comes from, i'm not saying you're lying, i just cant find it yet. all i can find are things like
Just started dd on this with the 10q summary and had to stop there to ask why on earth would this be moving up with a 92% decrease in gross profits on the book, a loss of 1700 acres of farming lease to grow the principle product / ingredient, and revenues were down by 94% because they didn't have enough cash on hand to buy raw materials to make a product to sell. What are their liabilities? The fact that this business business operates in china where governing bodies can "no longer recognize" the validity of a lease make this one need a real good story in my book. Also, i can't load their website in English.
7 minutes in and 1.84 million shares have traded.
I watched an episode of star trek the next generation last night off netflix on my 1080p plasma and it looked just fine, as did the blue ray disc of the avengers we played right after it. The reason to buy a 4k tv is the same reason I wired my house with cat-6e; i might not be putting 1000mbps through my network these days, but why limit myself to current standards when I can future proof at least for a while? 4k displays will play the limited 4k content that exists but I'm sure those old reruns we're all guilty of watching now and again will look better than they ever have. I tend to keep stuff for a long time though, I.e. 3-4 years to a cell phone, so I tend to replace my gear with items that will remain relevant for as long as possible. I hope that there are at least a few other folks with the old Yankee mentality out there...but when my 1080p plasma dies i will be replacing it with the highest resolution available and hoping for another long lived purchase.
so, you know that pumpers preload before price movement and sell into the face of the rising chart right? that would mean that they would have been out in January. go look up some pump and dump charts and compare the time frames, they don't line up at all do they? a pump and dump will not create over a month of steady gains.
a little out of date, but a good write up.

sorry if someone else already posted this.
I would imagine, like with any new product to hit the market, a lot of the initial retail margin is used to recoup development costs more than anything else.
i agree, these dots just seems to be shipping into the ether for all we know. Where ever they went i hope they went with an invoive. The next development i want to see from qmc is an accounts receivable dept.
If this were a pump and dump you should be able to provides us some links to the pumpers by now as the front loading would be done. Can't find any you say? Didn't actually research the company huh? Look at the chart, it speaks for itself.

Thank you for the well thought out response dplin2001. If there is one thing i detest, it is the constant bickering on forums cause by i mislaid word or comma that only devolves into the equivalent of a barroom brawl. Sadly i think we can agree that it can be very easy, as a species, to focus on the negative, beit another person's negative comments or something one perceives to be a negative action of a company.
I agree that the reduction of liabilities is good. I would be happier if the reduction of liabilities didn't dilute my position. I prefer to see a company pay-off their convertibles before their conversion date when and where possible so to me this reduction of liabilities isn't the best news. It certainly makes the fundamentals better for the new buyers though which we know we will need for liftoff, so we have that going for us.
So maybe we might be better served to extrapolate on our concerns as it would seem blurting hasn't gotten anyone anywhere, but then people do love to talk for the sake of talking...look at me go ;) thanks again.
Damn that one sentence for not saying "These issues are addressed by Quantum Materials Corp's automated mass-production of QD (including CD-free) which can now produce thousands of Kg per annum from one automated nanoreactor production line." Otherwise i would feel confident saying that the new reactor is in place. For now it just piques my optimism.
When the subject is tens of millions of things being distributed in half a year, i don't think the word "pouring" can be called hyperbole. sprinkling, drizzling, dripping, oozing, or meting don't quite describe what has happened since june 2014 in my mind. I'd call an 8.8% increase in common stock worthy of such verb-age, but that's just my opinion.
Hate has become a subjective term these days, but i would call this a memorable example of one of my posts being "hated on." I would like to think my point of view is known at this point, but every time i post what i feel is a legitimate question based on what i have read and sited, i feel its likely that i'm going to get...less than helpful responses. Things do seem a bit more grounded these day though and i am very appreciative of that.
I wan't impressed by the 10q and assumed others would be of the same opinion, that's all.
It does at first until one realizes that they did it by leaving the printer on...at some point i'm going to need to pull the knife out of my hand before it goes through my foot too.
Alright, where's the QTMM cheer squad to make me feel better about the 10Q? I'd like to hear something better than x amount of NDA's too.
My egg is locked to go at $.30, so not mine in theory ;)
Wait, who had a suite at CES?
Samsung has access to Nanosys IP. Samsung has lots of money and more folks who work for significantly less money in their immediate area, there's your self sufficiency.
Who said Samsung needs Dow? From what i have seen it would seem that LG has dow/Nanoco in a full nelson. LG bet the farm on OLED and thereby needed to outsource their dots/film, imho.
The article seems to say that making the product in house the way they want it is more expensive, but that "the cost is negligible."
I may be entirely wrong, and hopefully i am, but i have no legitimate reason whatsoever to think QMC will be selling to Samsung for SUHD displays. Everything i have read states quite clearly where Samsung's dots are coming from, in house through their subsidiary using Nanosys IP.
There is more stupidity than hydrogen in the universe, and it has a longer shelf life.
Frank Zappa
And i thought the "sell on news" strategy was for when the price went up immediately after news, not to shoot yourself in the foot on the starting line...
Ha! Engrish funny!
I totally agree that both companies checked each other out. The larger point that I am making, or at least trying to, is that an article (a very well done one at that) written by a bedfellow does not hold the weight of an entirely independent, financially clear entity. I'm not saying that any of these dealings are wrong, shady, and not worthwhile. What I am saying is that these articles aren't like a nod in the wall street journal. When we can say, "the wall street journal gets it," then we should get excited.
I think we'd all agree the news letter is honest and based on facts, but as long as torrey hills capitol is on the books at what was it? $8500 a month? They are selling qtmm, not "seeing their potential." It is very likely that thc did their due diligence before signing with qmc for the sake of their own reputation because they don't want to sell a bad product, so you could fairly say that they saw the potential then. They do not write these articles out of the kindness of their hearts; it's just business.
Well said sir. You are a man of reason, i like that about you.
i did my part with a 57,000 share slap, now with my track record the ask will drop a bunch. still way on top with this one. go oclg!
While this is a very well thought out reply by the author, it does not address the fact that this funding in the past has been dilutive to the stock. The real concern is that they are going to issue $3 million in convertibles to get the money leaving the common share holders left holding the bag in the end. Do I think QTMM is close? Yes, because if its not it is a complete and utter sham and I can't believe that. Good luck
