Have a great weekend. I'm keeping a tally of the share count. So far I've got reports from 14 players here, giving a total of 8,596,250 shares held or 17.7% of the float. What's your total? I'll add'm to the list.
Thanks.
Got'm this morning! Thanks. VTXB
Got'm! Now 14 folks, 8,596,250 Shares. We are now accounting for 17.7% of the float.
Let's hit it! Go VTXB!
Flipping can be to our benefit when it results in a larger position. I received a post from someone who, by flipping, nearly doubled his position and who is now holding long. What's way more important is that they are here. And thanks to you guys for making this work.
New total now 8,505,250.
We are up to 13, according to "My Stocks" we have yet to hear from over 30 more folks.

So far the total count is 7,576,250. If there are folks who are reading this that would like to be included but can't post, email me at rskarsten@gmail.com
It's not much effort to read every post here at the moment, but that will become tough to do once this stock takes off and we start getting many hundreds of posts per day. That being the case, when you want to update your count, then the best way would be to either make your post in reply to one of mine or send me a PM. That way I'll be sure to see it. Also, please include your new total in a new post to me rather than just saying how many you just added.
Thanks!! This is great; we're off to a great start! I'm sure when the rest of the folks get their data in we'll have a sizable chunk of the float. Have a great day. GO VTXB!
Don't fret, what you have in is about 4x what I was able to afford. Many of you monster players have been doing this (stock trading) for quite some time, and it appears as though you have been quite successful. So it also appears that I'm in good company. I'm recently back after about a 15 year absence from the markets, as can be seen by when I opened up this account. I'm in a couple other plays at the moment, but that does not make me any less proud of my 60,000 shares.
And as far as that goes, it would be great if someone could volunteer to keep up a share count tally. I'd be happy to if no one else will. Hit me with a PM or go public if you want. I've been reading every post here for the last 3 weeks. And I'm very good with spread sheets. I just would really like to know exactly how much of the float we have in our control.
Think about it. I don't mind being the lowest player on the Totem Pole. Gotta start someplace. See you tomorrow.
Great. I'll be over on that board for a while on Saturday, if you have any questions. Also, you can look at some of my posts if you like... the Company just went through a ticker symbol and company name change last Thursday.
I would have PM'ed you this but I don't have the capability.
Oops, My bad. Yea, I've got 10K here, only 170K at MINE. You have a nice position. Have you Looked at VTXB?
I hear what you're saying; on another stock this morning, 1.5 million shares traded at the same ask price in the first minute of trading. But the "available" shares on level 2 for that price didn't budge above 10,000 for even an instant. Call it what you want, but L2, what used to be a good tool for us years ago, has been debased into another means of control by the MM's.
If Vanis were, that would be incredible. But no, Vanis got hooked up with TEAM, which has nothing to do with this one. Are you in this one? How about MINE?
Yea, I think it should be too. Mr. Federowicz seems to be doing everything right, but what I'd really like to become privy to is the actual amount of product being sold. Sure that amount might not be very impressive at the moment, but at least I could get an idea of the company's growth rate, as I'm sure it's been going up consistently since the products inception.
One good distribution deal and this one will take off. LA is a good place to get a foot in the door.
I like that we're being kept informed. I like the share structure too. Thanks for posting, I was thinking of doing that myself.
And as the dust settles, here's to a good Friday and a GREAT next week!
To be brutally honest, I didn't like all the hype I was having to sort through on this board to get to the meaningful posts. I think we are much better off just gaining popularity on our own merit, which I believe won't take long at all. (is that too much hype?)
Good night.

Well, I'm real. For what ever that's worth. I'm out for the rest of the day, I'll check in later.
Thanks for your reply, but for the record, here's what I said on May 16th:

Yea, I guess it's a bit more complicated than a simple "Highlight, backspace, click click click of the keyboard." And then after hitting "Enter" all symbols change everywhere. That's how I would have had it set up to do, but oh well. I can wait. And thanks for your reply. How was your 4th?
Mine are still listed as Zlue at the moment. This is my first ticker change with them so I don't know what to expect. And like you, I'm not into selling either.

There, that should make up for all the times I forgot to post the symbol on my message and also get us on the buzz cloud.
SS,
I'm up to 170,000 now.
Go MINE
I don't know and am not going to trade. I'd say consider yourself lucky.
ROTF!! And with that I gave you # 60!
I hear you. And I appreciate what you can do very much. I'm just saying that we are in our 5th week now waiting for the name and symbol change. Not that I'm worried, I mean that would be silly, right? So in looking for a possible reason, since another poster and others seemed to agree that it takes just 2-3 weeks, I came up with that idea.
On the other hand, this being the big POT boom, it could just be that there's quite a back log at the ole "Federal department of company name and symbol changing", which is a much more plausible reason than what I first suggested.
I truly believe, that once the name change happens, and it will happen, and once the new "Vortex Brands" company gets-a-selling (which it can't help but do so, due to the hundreds of thousands of dollars in orders it's getting every month), and once a couple of quarters get filed and we see the results, that with the current share structure,it's my firm opinion that we'll be securely on our way to dollars.
ZLUE!
OK, I'm going to watch some television now, have a good evening.
I don't think so either. I was very surprised to see it at .015 today. There's way too much support here for that to happen.
On the other hand, with regard to thinking to hard, that's just what I do. I consider every possibility to an issue, no matter how far fetched. Occasionally, the "far fetched" ideas do surface as being the truth, ask any PI. I worked as an insurance investigator for a while, oh, about 20 years ago or so. We'd uncover some pretty hair-brained schemes.
GLTU.
ZLUE
Yes, it was completed on the 30th, but it was the 30th of May, not June. Check the PR again for verification.
This occurred to me today, I was pondering "who could possibly have an "in" on the stock price? It took me about a second to come up with this scenario...
Just what if, the guy at FINRA "accidentally lost" the paperwork? He and his buds just happen to be short...
I say we keep a sharp notice about how low that price goes, if there is some suspicious trading that could indicate a large position covering in the near future, and then the ticker symbol change gets approved and issued like the next day.
Wouldn't that raise an eyebrow or two? At least enough to have a look at other companies to see if there's a pattern. This is all just a hypothetical imagination. No proof, no accusation, just speculation with a big "what if".
I hope too that our current $.02 is our bottom, but heck, I'm long. And I was pissed that I snagged some yesterday at .028 only to have the price drop an hour later, I could have gotten 40% more shares! But in reality the SP doesn't matter for now. Heck if it goes to doubles of even trips, it won't be there for long.
Go ZLUE
The other answers were spot on, but here's a little more data in more simplified terms.
First, Thanks for having the wear-with-all to open up an account and asking a question. Have you been following this board for very long?
Ok, now there are a couple ways a company can go public, to just go public which is costly to do and has many steps, or it can merge itself into an existing company that is already a public trading company and that has previously stopped doing business. This is called a reverse merger, and the company being merged into is called a "shell". It's called a shell because it's not doing any business, but it keeps up (usually) with its reporting status.
Generally, and probably in this case too, A company like Vortex finds a public shell company and makes a deal with them to literally take over and become the new public company. In this case, the old CEO and other directors and board members of ZLUE will all resign. Vortex will make a Cash payment to the old members of ZLUE. Mr. Tom Olmstead becomes the new CEO and CFO, or what ever post he wants to maintain.
So the reason there is an alert is due to the OLD crew of ZLUE being delinquent, not Mr. Olmstead. Mr. Olmstead has stated that all his paperwork is in order, ready to go, he's just waiting for the new ID number from the OTC to be issued so he can file. 60 days from whence he files, Vortex will be considered a "fully reporting company" and the warning will eventually go away.
There's much more data about these types of things that you can find on line. There are some GREAT sources out there, like Investopedia for one. Check them out, you'll have a great read.
LOL that was funny!
Excellent. Now can everyone get a good night's sleep? (chuckle), I know I will-- good night.
ZLUE
You're very welcome. Your question was warranted and got me to consider things I actually hadn't thought about yet myself.
I believe that what we have here with Mr. Olmstead, is a person who thinks in long term futures. His company is not in a state of emergency, it's in a condition of affluence if not power. His company has the necessary orders and cash flow to easily handle the cost of expansion. This being the case, Mr. Olmstead has the luxury of being able to take the time to come up with the ideas for long term expansion. And as such is making it so.
I've been able to surmise, what with most of the posts I read from traders in these penny markets, is that what traders seem to be used to are companies in heavy danger with threat of going into conditions of non-existence by means of either going bankrupt due to poor management or by being sued for some sort of negligence, (which i guess is a redundancy on my part) and that are relying on a quick spike in the share price with which to dump into. But when one finds them self in that emergency state, long forward looking into the future isn't easy to do. "Where are we going to get the cash to... _______ " is always the topic of the day as these guys are always in a heavy state of "cope" with no time left to "organize". One must organize at least a little every now and then so that eventually things will "stable out". Only then can good, long-term plans be made that will have a decent chance to actually work.
Excellent post. As confident as I am about this company you were able to make me even more so.
Have a good week.
$ZLUE
Very well said. I hope you stick around and post more often.
Have a good day.
You mean besides the obvious? How could anyone know? The price went down because someone decided to sell some shares. So why did someone sell? Well, suppose I could list some possibilities, but what would be the point? Ok, here are a few...
His car broke down.
His girlfriend got pregnant.
She got fired.
They got arrested.
They found a better deal.
They already made profit.
They were worried the PPS would go lower.
He lost a bet.
He's DEAD and his widow took over the account, sold for funeral services.
I know this wasn't really what you were looking for, but that's all that's left due to the fact that the company's fundamentals remain unchanged.
At least they're talking to us.
I think that's for the financials, not the name change. Wouldn't that be two different filings? That's what they inferred on their 5/30 PR.
It's due to the "buy low sell high" theory. Would you rather sell your shares for today's prices or for next year's prices?
Expansion too fast for a company can be even more deadly than no expansion at all. A nice steady pace, a pace where control and order can be kept in, is ideal and much more preferred then expansion "out of control."
It's pretty obvious Vortex has enough cash to take the next step; that being selling nationally. Now suppose there's a dream somewhere of setting up their own manufacturing? Now THAT would take some coin to set up. And what would that take? 5 mil? He certainly can't sell enough shares now to accomplish that, right? But he certainly could if the share price were $5. He could set up manufacturing AND International distribution. And THAT's when Tom starts making some real coin, by either making all his own product, and hey, how about making product for someone else? It could happen.
So that, in a nut shell, is how a company can benefit buy protecting the share structure.
The news said they "expect" it by June 30th. It's in FINRA's hands, not the company's.
As far as the 2mil on the ask, I vaguely remember some poster saying, either on this board or on another that he was going to be holding until the end of the month. I'm not sure if it was even this company or not, and frankly i couldn't care less.
If you were looking an 500-1000% profits, I don't think you'd mind dumping out at .02. Plenty of folks were playing this one on the first leg up around the middle of May. And who's to say they're obligated to let us know it's them? I tell you, when there's no data, data gets invented, period.
And sure, getting the name and symbol done and legal and logged and polished up and all that would be great, but I'm much more interested in the financials. That will tell the story.
Read the 5/30 PR, you can find it just above the stickies.
Thanks. But now I feel like an idiot. LOL
