Movement on this stock today has been very peculiar...
Massive volume all selling on the Red Apple Pharm news???
Before this deal, ICBU was still valued higher... what else does everyone else know that I don't?
Loading zone for shorts, fill me in??
Good reporting. It appears I may have been wrong on this one in the short-term.
The chart shows the stock stair-stepping up since the beginning of last year, so it may just take some time to gain steam.
I wasn't all that thrilled with the Red Apple Pharm deal, anyway. But a series of sloppy PRs and poorly executed business deals have me holding instead of loading.
GLTA
This stock hasn't done anything for months and it's still gaining board members...
Must be something to it, no?
I have a gut feeling we're gonna be running green today...
Given HEMP's checkered past involving 'fly-by-night' partnerships since their inception, you're worries are justified.
When my long position is solidified at the beginning of next year, I will harken back to these negative comments regarding HEMP and its affiliates and let you know if a long-term strategy was good for this industry or not.
What does it mean 'take your lumps'? Does that mean take a loss?
I am in the black on this stock.
Do you think they will retire this ticker when hemp is legalized to be grown nationwide?
Could be. I have one stock related to this sector that has been stagnant for months and just exploded!
I did that over at GRNH. I'm just waiting for the REAL pop like everyone else is in this MMJ sector.
I mean, a ticker like HEMP, run by Perlowin who is renowned for his 'experience' in the industry must be a good bet.
Same. But we won't know until we know, Y'know?
If it's any consolation; HEMP has certainly not lost any value and has stayed relatively the same price since the beginning of the year.
One massive pop from shorting in February, then back to its .05-.07 support line.
Something tangible would need to materialize for that type of pop to happen again, I would think.
It would appear that the entire MMJ sector is down today...
....except for the companies that faced SEC halts earlier in the year...
...could be a catalyst for a pop, don't buy don't sell... just watch.
The world is full of fluff. Not even on just the OTC or even momentum stocks.
Remember earlier this year when Bank of America raised is dividend, only to find out it had made a 'bookkeeping error' that later nullified the increase to the dividend.
Don't get me wrong, HEMP has had tons of good ideas, but something is keeping HEMP from fulfilling these product promises. The consulting still exists, they did really issue those Bioadaptives shares. So, I do not know if it is legislation that is preventing this company from moving forward on physical products or if it's just a financing scheme to help Bruce build more non-profits out of hemp materials (I don't even know if that is necessarily a bad thing, given the possible renaissance of building things with hemp).
Trouble is, HEMP never follows through on their REAL products. Sure consulting and all, but the good old stuff like 'Fossil Water' just never quite makes it to market.
How are those hemp iced tea products that DEWM making going? How's that Cartel Blue clothing line 'opening Spring 2014' going? What were they planning to do with HIMR's underwater forest???
Where do you see Lee associated with him in this link?
Additionally the complaint was filed against Mehboob Charania, who I do not see affiliated with CETC...
Mateo, the article you posted said the plaintiff (Mr. Sharp) was found to be fraudulent... not CETC.
As a matter of fact, the background on him says this,
"Let’s start with the simple stuff – since 1996, Mr. Helischauer has used a whopping 20 different addresses in San Diego, Orange, Sacramento and Los Angeles Counties. Could this be as a result of trying to avoid the Internal Revenue Service, or maybe it’s because of all those California Franchise Tax Board Liens? Actually, in Mr. Helischauer’s case, it’s both!"
I don't know if a phony lawsuit constitutes blame towards the company, and I don't know why a phony lawsuit would be disclosed to investors...
Atta boy. Let those daytraders know how investors make the big money!
Long HEMP
I wouldn't go by the numbers Perlowin is posting just yet. When legislation is more favorable to these MMJ and Hemp companies, numbers will mean more.
The stats that are being sent out with the PRs right now are all hypothetically based on stock values of partners and equipment that is not federally legal to use commercially yet.
The time will come, the cheap shares are here now, when we start seeing legitimate numbers and more favorable legislation towards this industry, you can expect this company to be at the forefront.
What are your thoughts on HEMP's future?
I dare say you are right! Getting bought up as fast as it's selling, we stand to see a decent gain on the horizon if volume holds up.
That is a valid statement. Please, look back to when this stock was stagnating between .01-.02 and folks were saying it wouldn't go any higher.
It's nothing new for a momentum stock to stall for a months at a time before a huge push. Then fear of losing that profit drives many for the exits.
It is also not a very brave statement to call an OTC stock a pump and dump. You just hit everyone with a newsflash there.
Aw fakeout? Nice portfolio pop for an otherwise down day yesterday. Just hope you guys aren't selling into the real rise...
Looks just like the beginning of the year. Popped to .07 then came back down to .05, then shot to .30... I'm still expecting higher
Long HEMP!
Maybe the shorts hit the dollar mark on this run...?
Looks similar to 6 months ago... tomorrow will tell, and then it will be too late to short!
Awesome pending...
Hold tighter. We are just on year one of this new industry.
Been so many false liftoffs, most folks won't know to get in on the real ride...
Perfect price to go long under 10 cents...
You are approximately 6 months late in declaring that...
Unless you're here to bash, then your timing is spot on!
I believe you are correct. HEMP's CEO will beat up any other CEO in this sector.
#BrucePerlowinistheonlyonewithaclue
Yea baby. That changes the game for every single penny stock associated with the mmj movement, going to send them all skywards and the legitimate companies will stay up there.
I guess I agree with you for now. Only because things have seemed so dismal for the mmj sector recently. I'm thinking of shorting when it hits mid .2s again. At the same time, I wonder if I'll feel the same when it's on that type of upswing again.
Momentum stocks typically move the way ICBU has. Doesn't have to be a 'penny stock scam'. Which, by the way, is a very brave statement to make about OTC stocks, lol
It looks like you're right. Was it bad editting then?
The article on this board actually lists the company that FITX signed with as HEMP. But, I cannot find another mention of it online anywhere except for with a different hemp company.
Pretty sloppy PR.
Beg pardon:
"Creative Edge Nutrition (OTC: FITX) has not performed well over the last few weeks but that might be about to change as shares closed higher by almost 4% and volume started to pick up in the Nutrition company that recently finalized a deal with another popular penny stock Hemp, Inc. (OTC: HEMP). If shares continue on the path they are currently on then traders could be looking at the resistance point in the low $0.06 range to give shares a chance to push back to the double digits."
Is this real?
Sleepy old Chinese secret, this one...
Blatantly lying about outside service expenses on financial statements strikes me as more severe than just a SEC halt. Shouldn't some form of litigation be following this halt by affected investors?
I mean my theory of unrealized auto loans is bad enough and would account for 'cooked' numbers. But, declaring $100k for accounting services that weren't provided sounds criminal...
They were probably halted and re-evaluated because of the bubble forming in their BarNone auto-loan division; it is quite predatory.
And, those loans would likely go unpaid.
Since, we'll never know why they were halted, that seems as plausible an excuse as any.
Janice, you are on a lot of the mmj-related boards I post on. And, you always have very definitive information one would expect from a professional trader. What is it you do for a living? And, are you paid to offer us not simply opinions, but 'sure as shit' facts about OTC stocks?
I ask because I have found out so much about securities law after reading your posts.
Read about that. Make your voice heard come election season and make us all filthy, stinkin' rich!
Yea. Get out when you can while you can. WBXU was never a solid company to begin with (they issued all those high interest car loans through BarNone which are often defaulted on, likely allowing them to declare assets knowing many would be dismissed in bankruptcy).
I only found out about the company when HEMP signed a speculative deal with them.
I haven't heard that deal was off the table yet, but things look really bad on WBXU's end, right now, and I don't expect much better than a short pop here and there.
Even if this company were to make a turnaround, it could take years to come back enough to get a MM.
Your sell at .01 was likely a godsend. If you stay in WBXU, I'll be rooting alongside you because my stake in HEMP would benefit. But, I would not put any more money in, and I would withdraw what I could if I saw the PPS hit .01 again.
Then again, you might get a lucky break on a short pop and be able to break even. GL
