200@.08 or 400@.08

I hear from time to time,folks asking how to place orders,
so far i;ve not been able to find such instructions.
a video lesson on the way to do a trailing stop,and how it works.also a stop limit.
I use quote tracker And really don't know any other platform.When I see you putting in a stop loss,I assume its the same as the stop limit on Q/t.It appears to me that you have a sell order in at the same time,on the same stock,is this true or am I just not getting it?
Anyway you would know better than me if such,instruction would be widely received and appreciated.
I for one,very much need and would like some clarity in this area.

chucky-g A word of encouragement. I read somewhere that r/s announced like 30 days hence and especially small ones rarely happen.Just announced as a management tool to deep for my understanding.There is no obligation to enact a r/s just because it was announced.
