My guess it will change to SUNWW. Or maybe SUWW
I think I am beginning to understand why the PPS has had so much trouble growing. It is because we seem to have a large number of ignorant investors. Now with all the changes being made they are showing themselves to the world.
What the hell is it with all this crap about the cell being dead, and bailing because they believe that is the case?

Our goal was simple. Make going solar easy and accessible for everyone.
Our passion to make solar accessible for everyone means we also invest in our R&D efforts to develop the most cutting edge solar technology. The Sunworks Solar3D Cell’s technology division is developing a patent-pending 3-dimensional solar cell technology to maximize the conversion of sunlight into electricity. The Solar3D Cell collects sunlight from a wide angle and enables light to bounce around in 3-dimensional microstructures on the solar cell surface.
By deploying affordable, state-of-the-art systems and developing breakthrough new solar technologies, we continue to be a driving force behind the widespread adoption of solar power is possible.

Hey! Bring on the HOG.
Stranded at the drive in
Branded a fool
What will they say
Monday at school?
Sandy, can't you see
I'm in misery?
You made a start, now we're apart
There's nothing left for me
Love has flown all alone
I sit and wonder why, oh?
Why you left me, oh Sandy
Oh Sandy, baby, someday
When high school is done
Somehow, someway
Our two worlds will be one
In Heaven forever
And ever we will be
Oh please, say you'll stay
Oh Sandy
Sandy my darling', you hurt me real bad
You know it's true
But baby you gotta believe me when I say
I'm helpless without you
Love has flown all alone
I sit I wonder why
Why you left me, oh Sandy?
Sandy, Sandy, why, oh Sandy?
As normal, anything remotely positive gets a negative reaction from wall street.
Sandbitch (sp) must have just wet himself.
You don't think Sun Microsystems might object us using their symbol?
You would go insane. Working in a mental vacuum like ihub would drive you to drink.
They are called dark pools, and unfortunatly they are much more common than one would hope. They totally bypass the system and don't even have to be reported immediately. This is only for the privileged. No fighting against superfast computers like the rest of us.
Yeah, that would be good to see happen. As much as I love my home state there are somethings there that just royally piss me off. Oil would be one of them. As I'm sure you are aware, in Texas you only own the top few inches that your home sits on. All mineral rights (that includes oil) is owned by the state.
If you are a native Texan you have had the pleasure of studying Texas history, in which you learned that once upon a time the oil industry was the state. Laws were passed by the then "good ole boys in the back room," that protected the "rights" of the oil barrons of Texas. That is why today the oil industry can drill under your house for oil, and you don't get a dime of money from any oil they produce from under your "property" !
Yep, would like to see wind and solar bury oil. And yes if you dig down and find diamonds on "your" property, the state owns them.
SUNE already up another .50 in premarket. Ths could be a ketch fire day for all solar. BTW, average about 50% on SLTD holdings.

We're next. Solar is taking over.
While I have no love for Obama as President, this potential nomination could truly be a "LAUGH IN" (sock it to me) moment. Sandoval is a moderate. He was first placed on the federal bench by ole George W himself, and was unanimously approved by the Senate.
We should also keep in mind that Obama is a scholar in constitutional law, and has more smarts in that area than anyone in congress, and I believe he would go with a moderate simply because that is what the court was envisioned as being when it was created. Obama ascribes to that vision of the court, as opposed to political party divide. The court was never meant to be about politics.
And as mooon has said, this could be a boon to SLTD and Nevada.
First solar up 1.3 after beating expectations. Let's hope that trend carries over on SLTD news.
Market (ONCE AGAIN) is diving due to oil (ONCE AGAIN )is in decline today with no relief in sight for the balance of this month.
TheStreet: Stocks Remain at Lows as Energy Sector Sells Off
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13468635/1/
Ya know, if your broken record of dilution, it was better once upon time ever changes I may just seriously think about selling out. I would no longer have anything proving to myself that I'm right!
If our exes are awarded with company stock, just WHAT extra incentive would they have to invest by buying stock on the open market? Seems to me there is none. However since their total wealth is measured by how the stock is doing on the open market it would seem to me that they have plenty of incentive to make SLTD profitable, thereby increasing the worth of their awarded stock. If you already have lots of shares why would you buy more on the open market? Just to put a Linus blanket on investors? Don't think so!

Maybe he's a pilot and has his own plane. Stop trying to create problems where there are none.

Unbelievable BAT POOP! What the hell, differance does it make where JN lives and WHERE HE WORKS!!
Anybody who has ever worked CA knows that very very few people live close to where they work. They almost all commute long distances between home and work. Get over it.
Longest In US. Californians rank 10th in the country for having the longest commute times, taking an average of 26.9 minutes to travel to work, recently released census data show.Nov 1, 2012
California Commute Times Rank 10th Longest In US - Huffington Post

http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2014/10/19/cheat-sheet-states-longest-commutes/17428945/
Statewide average commute (one way): 27 minutes
People driving longer than 60 minutes to work: 1.54 million workers or 9.9% of workers over the age of 16 who work out of the home
A few places with long commute times: Some areas across California report average commute times that are higher than 50 minutes each way, including some parts of LA County, Butte County, and Madera county.
A few places with shorter commute times: Several areas across Northern California report commute times that are less than 20 minutes, such as the Siskiyou County area. Portions of Inyo and San Bernadino Counties also report shorter commutes.
Other means of transportation used: 5.1% use public transportation, 1% ride a bicycle, and 2.8% walk
Please read next post. Nuff said!
Excuse me? If you had just built the best stealth bomber in the world would you then tell your enimies how you did it? Get real! Tell the compitition how you did it? Don't think so!
You apparently do not devote any of your time to reading or listening to JN's statements. Therefore I see no reason to engage your posts as it is based on nothing substantial other than your opinion. The longs here do pay attention to what he says. I think you might do well to do the same. Unless of course you think Jim is not telling the truth.
It is my belief that the Nevada situation is going to be ultimately be ruled against Buffett as a monopoly, and anti Competitive company. Much like AT&T was declared a monopoly and anti competitive. This going to need to be processed through the courts, and it will take time, however eventually the utillities will be told that they are now the successor to the wood burner supply industry that once existed and fought to stay relevant in the world of fossil fuels a couple of centuries ago. Nothing can last forever and the utilities will die under the pressure of renewables. It is only a matter of time. Remember the Hunt brothers who attempted to corner the silver market a few decades ago? What happened? Did they win? Nope! They lost billions. Why? The goverment ( sometimes it gets smart) figured out what they were attempting to do and nailed them. Utilities are the new dinosaurs. They just won't believe that the astroid call renewable is going to wipe them out!
Investors are looking for companies that can show a profit! That hopefully will be us. I believe they will jump all over us if we show a profit for the past year. They are looking for the good strong straws in the bales of straw.
For you who have never seen a bale of straw it is the brightest Gold you will ever see in nature short of real gold. To a farmer a good bale of straw is worth it's weight in gold.
We have the cell! What you should be wishing for is a manufacturer who wants to exceed expectations! Until one of those comes along we just need to be happy we have a very very good installation group under the Solar3D umbrella. Be thankful for what we have! I refuse to be of a negative mindset ever!
Provocative questions. No doubt designed to stimulate some sort of conversation on this board. Unfortunately both questions have been addressed multiple times here before. Best advice? Leave the sleeping dogs lye, (yes that spelling is what I choose to use) until earnings are reported at the end of March.
Not quite sure what you are trying to say. Could you clarify please.
Other than earnings whisper web site there is nothing anywhere to confirm that 3/3 is a release date. And if you did deeper on tgat site there is nothing to back up that guess. All others still say end of March and no other guidance from JN to say differant at this point.

Local Solar Company Doubles its Space with Help from Miller Industrial0
Posted by Thomas Miller, CCIM
logo_sunworksSolar United Network, which operates as SUNworks, is one of the fastest growing solar systems providers in Nevada and California. That’s evident here in Reno, since Brad Lancaster of Miller Industrial recently helped the company into a new facility that gives it double the space. All of that space will be necessary as the company expands locally and continues to supply state-of-the-art solar systems for residential, commercial and agricultural applications. Despite less-than-positive state changes regarding net metering rates, which some say will curb enthusiasm for residential solar and green energy systems, SUNworks remains committed to this market and needed a bigger facility from which to operate.
Lancaster was referred to SUNworks by a mutual acquaintance and former client who was impressed with the way Lancaster handled his own industrial real estate needs and related decisions.
The new property at 895 E Patriot is 7,000 SF, and SUNworks will be occupying the space on a three year lease.
Do you really want me to answer that question?

I seriously doubt that the MARKET has anything remotely called emotions.
You didn't have to run a telcom center during the break up. You couldn't find anyone that had a clue as to what their responsibly was. There is no comparison to breaking up utilities to aid solar.
The break up of AT&T wasn't the result of any supreme court ruling. It was a ruling made by one Judge Harold H. Greene of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. THE FTC sued and won.
No relationship to the solar industry, and believe me when I say I never want to endure such an event again.
BTW you will notice rhat AT&T has slowly reabsorbed most of the former baby bells.
