Still a no-go. No proposals out there to influence building material selection.
Speaking of fluff, or is it phluphph, checking with the NJ Legislative folks, there is nothing in the pipeline with a $5K tax credit related to a choice in building materials. I can't even imagine Christie signing off on a program that gives away money. Maybe he's flipped out, flipping penny stock.
Would be great for the Eco bloggers to paste more info on it, and the name of the legislator working on it. We'd all like to hear more about it!
Which time are you referring to?
Ever wonder why, after all the pre-speech hype, that nobody posted a link to Conboy and Company's 'speech' at the UN sub, sub, sub committee meeting? Should have been posted in a new PR, and picked up by this very blog. Right?
There's a good reason, and it starts with the first words out of Conboy's mouth. He claims to have built Levittown, PA. That's an amazing feat for somebody who probably wasn't even born at the time. But nobody at the meeting knows what are where Levittown is, so why not go for it.
Their hero from the NY Uniformed FF's was in rare form as well. He made a direct claim that Eco made wood "impervious" to fire. Short of submerging wood in vast quantities of water and keeping it there, it is impossible to make wood impervious to fire. That is an absolute false statement that was made that day.
His MC, I forget the name, uses MC Hammer for a reference on his own website. They are all members of the same world-saving .org as Conboy.
If you view the video, I believe you will find the lack of audience interesting, other than the other speakers. Most of his time was spent running an old video about a foreign build-out that never happened. Check it out and you will see why the link has not been posted here. Go to UN website and search for it. It should still come up.
Enjoy!
What's funnier about that post on ECOB blog is the picture of the truck supposedly at Guthrie loaded with red colored wood. It's claimed to be Eco. If it's an old picture, maybe, but if it's a new picture, that's probably red colored Fire Chief FRTW. Note: No Eco script stenciled on the side. Guthrie stocks a lot of Fire Chief (aka: DBlaze). It's red colored, and has no stenciled text on the side. It's a big seller for them.
Eco should be more careful when they call out IHUB posters on their own blog. It only encourages them to scrutinize what's on Eco's own blog. In this case, they pulled a whopper.
It's like the picture on their home page (in rotation) that supposedly shows stacks and stacks of wood headed to Home Depot. Only problem with that is the fact that the "Hunt" logo stenciled on the sides of the bundles absolutely confirms that it's SYP and not DF. Hunt doesn't mill or manufacture DF. The QAI Listing is for DF 2x lumber only. So take your pick: Home Depot is pulling one over on their customers, Eco is pulling one over on Depot, or, the photo caption is pure BS. Which is it?
Maybe if you post the number of the pending NJ bill, then we can all get behind it? Or I could get that number from the Eco PR? No, not there either.
According to Eco's last 10-Q, they already get a big break from the government in the form of unpaid taxes. So, aren't we already doing enough? Is this more of the "codifying", except Steve's codifying the tax codes, too?
'Pay up, or shut-up', is what Steve ought to be hearing when he's visiting anybody looking for help and handouts. Might be what hears from Inland Empire if anybody got through.
The second definition is good for a Chuckle 24/7.
Building codes don't recognize proprietary products. Best Eco can do is open the market for all.
Would like to see the list of where Eco has been "codified" to date, since the PR's suggest there's already some history. I'm sure important info like this is readily available.
Guthrie must be getting behind because the stacks of Fire Chief FRTW from Tomball are in the way of the Eco sprayer?
In the context of Eco, does anyone have any idea of what "codify" means? Subject to interpretation by Steve?
Not sure that I've ever understood your reference to this ever being a "boutique" product. It isn't today, and Eco's own definition of success is for their product to be a commodity. 'All wood being coated with a red colored magic sauce' is the definition of a commodity product. As you have noted, if the masses ever fall under this hypnotic spell and this becomes the norm, Eco will not live to tell the tale. Other profit driven, cash laden, powerhouses will prevail. Success is commodity. Commodity is low margins. That would also exclude Eco from ever recovering from its debt situation. There's no boutique in the wood construction market.
It's also a recycled PR:

And I believe there is even more before that, but it's not worth looking for again.
So, what happened to the exclusive with Home Depot in the US???? Eco used the word "exclusive" in their Depot-related PR's. Is Depot not on the same page either?
WOW! Look at that Sponsor list!

This is definitely a way huge event. Sounds like there will be sandwiches available.
Cult of Personality
And the first $500K of Depot revenue goes directly to (or went directly to) a creditor and not Eco. A good move for Depot so the creditor would be less likely to wind-up with a lien on Depot inventory at some point.
Ate lunch with a guy today that asked me if I could help him unload his Bluwood equipment. He still sells Lowes in a big way, but not with blue colored wood. Said he learned a lesson with Bluwood that he didn't want me to rub in.
I was thinking the missions might be good for spraying cattle. Could even spray them so they don't rot, mold, or burst into flames.

'...best batch ever...'
Yep, sounds very 'sciencey' to me, too. Is that a recipe for beer or fire retardant? Folks keep trying to pass this stuff off as a miracle fire retardant, but especially considering the source in this case, there's a lack of credibility from the people that make it and sell it.
So, what's the QC rating of all previous batches? 'Not so good'. 'Fair'. 'Not bad for a Friday at 5PM'. 'Too much foam, because it ran over the top of my mug.'
Steve Conboy: A Sub-Pennystock CEO With A Multi-Billion Share, Zero-Dollar Industry Lane-Changer.
If Eco Red Shield is working out so good for Guthrie Lumber in Austin, TX, how come they are stocking a lot of Fire Chief Fire Retardant Lumber (aka D-Blaze) from Tomball Forest Products? Why would Guthrie pay so much more for something that does so much less?
Obviously PhotoShop. I believe that is what is said when other people post photos. No doubt the same situation here.
Actually, YOU said: " Their wood used to be blue and they had to change it to red, because of fire codes."
I'm just asking you which codes and code sections those are. Just cut and paste them into your next reply so we can learn which fire codes require red coloring. I've never heard of them, so I need your help learning which ones they are.
Cite the IBC, IRC, NFPA, or whatever building code section it is where it says anything about this red requirement.
Please cite which fire codes require red.
Silence for a moment, please. I am trying to remember what a ballistic trajectory looks like......oh yes, now I remember.
If there are any dogs chasing Conboy or Eco, it's because he owes them money. The rest are just enjoying the 3-Ring circus. At least the admission price is less than a penny.
That old Eco Building Products dog can only lift one leg at a time.
Wow, "100" ain't what it used to be.
Looks like NexGen ECOatings (formerly BluWood Global) is preparing for their push into the US. Rot, termite, fungus, decay, fire. 30 year warranty, too. They have a ~30-page presentation you should get a copy of and review. But don't believe me. Check it out for yourself!
Guess nobody told them about Eco Building Products' patent pending on spraying wood.........
No doubt they have mountains of debt putting such a business together. So much R&D goes into something like this. Stir, Spray, Dry, Stack, Load, Ship. High tech!
Later.
But I think Eco Building Products has a PAF dihydrogen monoxide, too. That's going to be hard to work around.
Somebody directed me to the Eco website blog today, and I am proud to say that I am mentioned on the same page as Arnold. Arnold left California and his family in such good shape, sure, why not quote him regarding the future prospects of Eco Building Products? Makes sense to me.
BTW, Steve Conboy knows that Arnold is back to playing make-believe again now, right?
Let me guess. NASA is going to use Red Shield for a new generation of shuttles.
Actually, you already know the answer to that. The PR's are written FOR the chat boards. No reasonably experienced person is going to believe that OSHA is 'lobbying' for Eco or any proprietary product. That is a blatant false statement, OR, somebody at OSHA is about to get fired when it gets back to OSHA management. Or both.
As usual, Conboy has taken a kernel of truth (the GA company?) and turned it into a cornfield.
All that pollen gets to me after a while, too. You've been mislead on the USDA funding. Already $1M has been earmarked for WoodWorks to spend on training. Their mantra is CLT/Tall(er) buildings. They build up to 10 stories in wood in other countries, and would like to see the same here. It has nothing to do with treaters or painters. Plan old wood. These building will have a lot of sprinklers. Can't remember the last time I saw a termite on the 10th floor.
Also consider the challenge of a company that is already so far behind on government payments trying to get funding from the government to expand. Expand? I don't doubt that Steve will try, but it ain't gonna happen. Good stuffing bits for a PR though.
This is all a complete misrepresentation by Eco of what that story is all about. Good try though. When you are in the boat that the Eco CEO is in, I suppose you'll try just about anything.
Maybe Eco CEO wanted to go to The Masters next month. This way he can expense the trip. Seems like he's earned it.
Oh yea, no doubt the Austin facility was spraying like Niagara Falls. I forgot about that. How could I?
What about Rocky Mountain in Denver? I know they aren't too busy painting because last week their yard was primarily full of red FRTW from Allweather and clear FRTW from Hoover. Should have been lots of down time for that PAF sprayer to swing into action. Out of AF21? Oh sugar!
You think I PS everything, so I don't think I will waste anymore time on that. Print the picture you have, and go to the Commack store and hold it up next to the bundles. There's no time-space continuum issue there.
What about the Eco PR that specifically stated that 7 TL's of Eco Red Shield were being shipped out of the Eco Salem, OR facility into Texas? Rocky Mountain in Denver and Guthrie in Austin were both certainly closer. Maybe I have an old map.
You are correct, and I have stated this before, if this 'concept' ever gets traction, the wood will be sprayed at the mills before it hits the stackers. NO additional shipping or handling required. No debt to take on. No toxic financing. No penny stock promo costs. Steady and predictable volume. No affiliates to placate. No videos. No coffee. Mill maintenance crew will put a painting rig together over a weekend and off they go. NO royalties to Steve Conboy or stockholders. If Depot ever decides to stay in, they will just tell the mills they contract with to ship the wood sprayed. Simplifies their process tremendously, based on what they have to deal with today with Eco. That's the way Big Boxes work.
Referencing pictures of Eco Building Products Red Shield at Home Depot in Commack, NY: For those of you that might not be aware of the fact that lenses distort depth perception (take a shot like this, this close with a Droid and compare), the picture is obviously not a fake. If you look at the Commack2 photo taken from further back, link also previously posted, proportion is restored.
You ask for photos. You got 'em. If you don't like them, don't look at them.
Know how you can tell I didn't have it PS'd? If I was going to PS it, I would have added some clowns.
