How to Use the Internet to Invest Wisely
If you want to invest wisely and steer clear of frauds, you
must get the facts. Never, ever, make an investment based
solely on what you read in an online newsletter or bulletin
board posting, especially if the investment involves a small,
thinly-traded company that isn't well known. And don't even
think about investing on your own in small companies that don't
file regular reports with the SEC, unless you are willing to
investigate each company thoroughly and to check the truth of
every statement about the company. For instance, you'll need to:
• get financial statements from the company and be able
to analyze them;
• verify the claims about new product developments or
lucrative contracts;
• call every supplier or customer of the company and ask
if they really do business with the company; and
• check out the people running the company and find out
if they've ever made money for investors before.

Chrisalias: There is no such thing as a one minute TICK chart, the variance is the number of ticks assigned per bar with each TICK being one transaction.
EDIT: A one minute chart is comprised of all the ticks or transactions that took place during that time frame, etc.
hunkderdown: The CFR controls the majority of the mass media, I suspect they will try to gain control of the internet as well...so Murdoch is probably right!

If my weekly stoch plays out as in 2002 per your April 30th post suggesting similarities with the current market action, my weekly stoch should not rise enough (before rolling over), to make it into its over bought range...

ajtj: Well I think iHub has its share of paper trading gurus, although a bunch of them trade pink paper...gg
Agreed, there is stoch similarities of the two bottoming process as well as ARC similarities. This week completes the second ARC and if the pattern follows suit, there will be a slightly higher high mid week next week followed by the beginnings of a sell off before weeks end. I shared the pattern in my Easter Sunday website update and have continued to post updates of the patterns on my private message board. Of course, there is always some wiggle room in these patterns.
If this plays out, a jackass for everyone...gg

ajtj: He dazzled them with his wave charts on the investment message boards, but in the end, it seems he could not trade successfully using his own charts. I doubt anyone got any of their money back.
Raptor should have gone with the usual investment message board guru scam by starting some kind of pay subscription service. The groupies would only be out the price of the subscription and he (Raptor) would most likely have stayed on the right side of the law and would most likely still be making money selling his subscription service, as the investment message boards seem to have an endless supply of willing subscribers for these gurus...

The "wrong" in the picture is that our Country is being run by fools and idiots. The same thing happened in the latter days of the Roman Empire.
My wife keeps suggesting countries for us to move to every time she see or reads something like this. This is going to end badly. I am beginning to think we should start looking...sigh!
Maybe we'll become neighbors of Jimmy Rodgers...

Joe: That fishy stuff has be going on throughout this rally. The big boys have regrouped and are back in town. However, my Accumulation/Distribution models are nearing a range that suggest they are getting close to their goals. What's left is a possible sharp ramp into "cinco de mayo" (maybe as late as "siete de mayo") using the demand generated by the ramp to sell short...
LG
basserdan: All this stuff is "so" coming to light. If I pause to think, it always takes me back to the mid eighties, when Richard Ney first convinced me that the markets were being manipulated on a daily basis.
Once convinced, I set about trying to develop a system that would help me recognize the manipulation and discern its intent. That endeavor became the impetus that led to the development of my Multiple Time Frame Analysis methodology in the eighties. It has kept me on the right side of every major and nearly every minor market reversals since.
I adopted my market mantra around the same time... ”Think Like A Criminal” ...

easycome92: That post was not intended to disagree with his market expectations as I have not read his thread enough lately to know his read. However, having read about his "mirror patterns" for years, I was just taken back by the example. It did not "mirror" what I thought he'd been talking about all these years. I guess my bad...gg
My primary trading platform was a mess today due to recent build issues that started rearing their ugly heads coupled with PC issues. So, I placed stops at the brokerages and took the day off to take care of some non market related business. Hopefully TradeStation will get the bugs out by this weekend.
Here is what I've had to say recently...

ajtj: First let me state there is no offense intended by this post, but I always thought your "mirror patterns" were at least "in the ball park" inverse reflections of prior price action.
How do you arrive at the area you label as mirrored six when it is above the mirrored four, given that the origin six is well below the origin four? Also your mirrored three is above the origin one.
If this is a prime example, I do not see how you describe these as “mirror patterns”. I don't see how your example benefits your trading. I guess I just don't get it...

plaintif2000: It "has" been spelled out countless times on this thread by several posters. If you haven't gotten it by now, spelling it out again would be a waste of time.

IMO, what Calypso Wireless is and has been from the start became obvious early on to but only a few investors intent on giving their money away.
LG
astroguy: Yes, smoke'em if you got'em...
LG
dhwco: Why are they doing what you say they are intentionally doing? What is the motive? Exactly how are they going to profit from what you say they are doing?
Spell it out...
LG
dhwco: Daic and Williamson have intentionally contrived to screw up the title from DAY ONE so we could not take advantage of the patent! And Pattin has helped them. (IMO).
WHY?
