""Can you prove there have been no EUA awards for trials under 121?""
A company recently announced results of a covid trial which reduced death rates vs soc by ~50%. I could not find the specific clinical trial referenced in the pr, perhaps I did not investigate enough, but it evidently included 52 severely compromised covid patients.

I'm sure sure you enjoy your harbors. Tilt up, I guess, not familiar with your link= never been there, but thanks for the suggestion, I suppose.
How do you afford something like that?
Give it up.
Silly me, maybe the accountant is handing out B on the street corners of Boca, and all of Florida. That must justify the low death numbers.

......"The cdc tracker shows Florida has turned the corner on daily cases. Deaths are way down as a percentage of cases. As Florida goes…."
I'll suggest deaths are "way down" for political reasons.
The hottest covid spot in the US has minimal death rates?
Me thinks something gives.

Please Florida, share your secret.... for humanity.
"Watch what happens on positive news if there's a partnership behind it..."
This company seems never resourceful enough to promote the positive messages they convey to the tiny amount of shareholders' to any major investors.
Why?
The "major promoters" "make a living" on this page, with help, it appears to me.
Custer's last stand.

"Humpty Leodumpty Ehrlich looking quite wobbly on the wall. Omelette orders now being taken."
Funny. This site is becoming Monty Python-ish/Fernwood tonight-ish by the day- which at least leads to more entertaining reading, as the egg headed leader has lost(?) his voice.
I suspect a seagull may have just happened to have bombed egg head while attempting to drop a clam shell upon the wall in an attempt to crack it. We can only hope the egg head's noggin is still intact and is not leaking egg fluid atop the wall. That would only result in fried eggs for the birds in Boca.
Bon appetit! Go ipix
Thanks for the post, but I recall seeing it previously (on ihub I think) nearly 6 months ago.
"I am in a quandary as to where big medicine draws the line between established norms for clinical trials, EUA, etc and where they feel they can shave off some time (come on, we know there is a load of pure BS put into these encyclopedic requirements such as 100K-200K for an EUA pathway?,"
I believe the FDA/CDC/NIH establish the protocols to be followed for clinical trials. I don't think big pharma draws, or establishes, or is allowed to draw establish lines(specs) set by the above gov't entities, outside the specified lines.
I suspect it's a combination of things that seem to appear the US has been tipping the bow toward the water for years. Gov't greed, and private greed. When they combine, society suffers. That happens, and hurts MOST, not all.
Requests can be made by pharma companies, and I'm sure reasonable requests are considered. I believe BP is beyond greedy, and over rated. The days of Banting and Best, and their ilk, are long gone, and the managers of BP are the primary reason the atrocious health care costs and availability of it to many are limited.
It's easy not to care- I guess.
"73 days to check data, who is running these trial sites, a group of monkeys that don't have a clue as to what they are doing?)to move the process along during a pandemic that has basically shut down a lot of the world's commerce and freedom and killed many and greatly injured major organs for many, many more that did not die from Covid. In business, medicine was the only sector that didn't give a damn about either cost or time. They thought both were infinite as since their work was so blessed. Time to get this sector into the real world IMO."
Does the 73 days have anything to do with ipix's 60 call back?
It's obiovesley a dynamic (moving/shifting) situation. Certain areas think government reccommendationts are an infridgement, other areas don't believe so.
Currently, the proof is in the pudding.
No Whining tolerated in this , still, quite dynamic pandemic.
Love and prayers to you, and all.
Ha-ha.
Last sentence of paragraph 5.02 in the 8k you linked reads:
"Also effective November 5, 2010, Leo Ehrlich, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer was appointed to serve as an interim Chief Executive Officer until his successor is duly appointed and qualified. Mr. Ehrlich will also continue serving as Chief Financial Officer of Cellceutix."
They should have named the company Take Away Pharmaceuticals.
Wonder if Evans has sold any of the 2.7+ M shares, or if either of his sons have sold the 918K + shares they were gifted? Same questio hold true for the Ehrlich and Menon boys.
Millions upon million of shares gifted to insiders an cronies over the years w/o a single purchase on the open market.
IPIX clearly needs a competent CEO. Who hired him-what's the trail?
The BOD are doing a bang crash job, and pocketing from his/their oversight. Will the ipix prove to be, or hold a candle to, industry "Tom Brady" caliber CEO's?
He's road kill when measured against a healthy rat.
If B is as promising as touted by the company there is no reason why Tyler Cowen has not heard of it. B has been studied at the GMU rbl. Mr Cowen graduated from gmu and is a professor there.
I'm sure he keeps his ear close to the tracks with many things-including covid.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyler_Cowen
Where, may I ask do you live? Have you been vaccinated?
No problem if not comfortable with answering.
"Maybe this will be the new norm where Americans will have to get on with their lives and understand the risk. It’s less than 2 years old so either we live our lives in fear or get back to normalcy. I choose normalcy and understand the risk like driving a car or other things that cause death."
Covid is real. All Americans always want to keep moving on in life.
Like a lacrosse attacker(offfensive player), the wise ones(attacker) attempt to ward off the defender and score w/o being called for a penalty.
"Did you see the cdc chart? Don’t let facts get in the way of your ideas."
I know you were responding to another's post, but looking at the chart you linked was interesting( ty for the link). You are correct that the chart slows a POTENTIAL change in direction of the trajectory of the current spike. However, it is not a reverse. Even last year, after hitting a low in late August/early September, we had a steady climb from early September through ~mid January this year with a few troughs before a bigger crest.
Covid is clearly not going away on hopes and prayers, but rather may be reduced somewhat via actions by all individuals. The vaccines are a stop gap that clearly reduce, not eliminate infection.
Rome wasn't built in a day, and the builders' likely slept in camps during it's construction.
Hopefully we hear encouraging results, promptly, via a prompt(timely) notice by a pr, 8k, or national coverage by a major station/ or cdc itself. Best not to be buried in an annual or quarterly filing by HQ(the accountant).

"... . I see stars aligning for massive run.
$2.50 is a joke when we will all be at $12 having a lobster party in jersey soon."
Jersey Shore sounds ideal. I won't have to pack syringes for my insulin. I can just grab them out of the surf.
+.....However retrospective analyses of some patient sub-sets have revealed some promising and encouraging directions for future research. For example, one-legged patients from Minsk not requiring ventilator support did better on brilacidin than on placebo. ...."
In closing, to everyone's surprise, 98% of the one legged Minsk patients are now considered much faster on their toes since they once again have ten toes. We are arm twisting/holding back payment to the dmc til they label this a benefit and not an ae.
"Their team has one other attribute. Their rich!"
I would add smart, as well, in your comment
"There is no frigate like a hit piece to steal your money away."
Or a corrupt captain, or unqualified(clueless) leader, which happens at times.
Go Ipix!

"Yet not a Phase 3 to be seen. And the only proceeds generated from all of those Phase 2s has been $400K."
~ 6 months of the dynamic duo's annual salary. If your happy and you know it clap your hands!
I thought ctix brought on board one or two polymedix employees. Ed Walters perhaps(clinical trial manager- dumped 12/2017, or maybe Jorgenson or Evans? I'll take a stroll down Memory Lane to jog my memory.
"Actually I think a lot of this may be hers, even if it is just speculation on my part."
I tend to agree with you. I go betwixt and between wondering if she's still there, or not. Perhaps she's ipix's racer X(a character reference in the old Speed Racer cartoon).
"Cleanliness is next to godliness" was a phrase often stated by a high school teacher of mine.
Over the past year, the times ipix has been above 30 cents is minimal. All of feb 2021(for the most part), the first half of march(for the most part), and the span from 7/29 til today(for the most part).
Feb= 28 days
3/1-3/15= 14 days
7/29-8/16=19 days
Total calendar days = 61 days
61/365= .167, or 16.7%
To be fair, there are not 365 trading days, Crude math- 52 weeks x2(sat/sun)=104
Holidays~11
365-104-11~250 trading days
61/250= 24.4% of the days above 30 cents.
.167x100= 16.7% of time of the past year ipix has, more or less been above 30 cents-mostly quick spikes. 83.3% below, mostly well below 30 cents.
At what price can the accountant execute his shares? ~ 11 cents I believe for many of them, if not most.
I guess it good he hasn't filed any form 4's to date.
"Leo is in the driver's seat and he knows it. I believe Leo has been engaged in talks with various BP for quite some time because part of the EUA process is to show how you plan to manufacture and distribute the authorized drug and the U.S. Gov't has a lot say in these areas.
"When a company has an asset that others in the industry can easily value in the billion$...funding is not a problem."
If the asset (B) is so "easily valued", for so many indications over numerous years, why haven't the big boys' ponied up?
We all believe what we want.
Hopefully the B for C results are good and do not become a footnote in the Septembers 10K (or later 10 q's).
GLTU
""The subject database remains blinded with the current emphasis on confirmation of all data entered at study sites, as well as completion of source data verification and the necessary checks and reviews by the data management vendor in preparation of database lock.
Following database lock and transfer to the biostatistics vendor, analysis of the unblinded data from the clinical trial will begin to assess Brilacidin’s performance, against placebo, across primary, secondary, and other endpoints. Topline results are anticipated to be available one week after database lock, with full analysis to follow."
In my mind, the most difficult part of the "decision makers", is culling out all the incoming info and comparing to other released data. This is a dynamic situation, for many.
To date, ipix pronouncements come from the ceo w/o strong/any verbal backup to back-up his forward looking statements.
We all shall see.

Could be. Perhaps menon will be called back to the cavalry? He's a veterinarian, no?
"I realize my thinking is not the norm, but it is what it is, and having a joke like Fauci leading the way a disgrace. IMO he is to medicine what Epstein was to finance. What percentage of USA citizens trust Fuaci? Certainly not enough to keep him around IMO."
Texas is certainly "killing it" with covid. Texas knows it all, from covid to power.

"$18-23/share. I'll gladly pay my 50% on that.
We only have to worry about tax implications in the real world."
Great speculative advice.
I'ld advise newcomers, and old, to donn the helmuts, in anticipation of declared company results(if ever revealed).
"If results are good Leo will take whatever path is best for shareholders. Whether that ends up being partnership, buyout or solo who knows. If the stock shoots to $20/share then he'd we wise to sell another 5 million shares and maybe go it alone."
Is that even possible, administered by the apperant(sp?)
lying lout of Wakefield?
" IPIX has $12M in the bank and virtually no expenses outside of trials. If they can't raise enough money based on a surging stock price they will partner with a BP."
Take a look at their (ipix) annualburn rate via the last 10k.
12M tis nothing.
Hoping they file a TIMELY 10k this September-50/50 my guess.
"Ceo should try harder to generate excitement and new interest. What about pro ball Pr firm, is ceo talking to squawk box?"
I suspect he only talks to himself, and likely doesn't answer.
""I don't have an answer to your question."
"I think you answered half of it. Disposition or licensing of a drug/compound doesn't require shareholder approval.""
Where does that leave current shareholders, in your humble opinion?
More grand wonderment?
"we are strong, there is no rush"
On whose part, the inventors-submitters (ipix), or the reviewers?
No rush to finding a cure/treatment during a pandemic?
Who's leading the charge on both ends(submitters/reviewers)
Guess we, as a society, have hit lower ground.
Go ipix!

A construction Superintendent whom I worked with long ago (a WW2 Sergeant) as a project engineer, would say at times, do SOMETHING even if it turns out wrong, we'll adjust course and fix it.
Covid is a a much larger project than most private companies, never mind public companies, have ever worked on.
Kinda an all hands on deck situation since ~ early 2020.
