What you discussed has not been ignored by the long horizon investors I communicate with... we also don't ignore the contents of your other 15 or so pages... this is a complex investment which frequently defies simple answers... jmo... glta...
Hmm. Good point.... don't believe I've ever done that either. Guess I'm just not that compassionate. I see a stock I don't like I move on.... but maybe that's just me...
Here's something else I've never done - hang around a stock message board for months and months writing negative commentary. You ever do that Red? Didn't think so... jmo... glta...
You make some valid points, but if that is the extent of your DD there is quite a lot that you missed. Best of luck to you.
Yes. And glassware on a chip will be in the middle of it... jmo... glta...
Absolutely correct. I concur.
It's a bit more than theoretical. Prototype announced awhile ago. Patent applied for...
Happy Thanksgiving!
Very well said. You should post more often. Thanks. Happy Thanksgiving to all...
you will be able to find glassware through Azure search soon... Exosphere is for really big players and requires initial set-up to fully utilize intelligence of vix which maximizes efficiency gains... jmo... glta...
Exosphere is for big, really big, players... it won't be marketed through Azure searches and it requires initial set-up from S3D... it will be sold via 19,000 msft sales force (which are being trained over time), 17,000 channel resellers (which are being utilized in waves starting with U.S.) and through S3D's own sales force being led by PB and SH...
They are already working on exosphere projects with potential clients... as per the CC... paraphrased since I am too lazy to find the quote... "what we used to think of as large deals we now are looking at as medium size deals"... this shift is quite recent...
GW on Azure is available for small to medium size players... it can be as small as a rental for a weekend... or it can service hundreds to thousands of employees... it will be marketed through all of the ways mentioned above, but also through Azure search and does not require contact with the company... entire transaction can be done through the internet once it is operational... my understanding and opinion... glta...
Exosphere is already available through Azure. GW appears to be there too though not announced as of yet.
Some people believe we will need to wait for revenue ramp before pps climbs. I am not one of them. All we need is a change in narrative to grow pps by a factor of 4 to 5... that may happen sooner than some anticipate... jmo... glta...
Agreed. ANY has created a containerization cloud platform complete with customizable storage solutions. Glassware creates containerized apps in a highly efficient manner which solves serious compatibility and legacy software issues.
I've noticed bears expend significant effort focusing on quarterly revs that miss analyst target by a million or so, but completely ignore the profound efficiency advantages of the ip that is rolling out on the fastest growing cloud platform...
After last week's CC the short thesis is in serious trouble. The pps movement is their main point of confirmation and it is manufactured through manipulation. The last piece of the glassware puzzle goes live on Azure this coming week. Then all they have left are the balance sheet issues. If the company resolves those, then the bear thesis will soon be on life support... jmo... glta...
Excellent post. Thanks.
Check out installation video conversation between JM and PB...
Excellent points. Thanks.
Not many are willing to recognize the front end work required to turn the concept of glassware into a scalable platform. Some bears have even stated it's not possible. Not only is it possible, it is finally done... and available on Azure no less with the final piece in place 11/23...
Exosphere... available for very large enterprises... 10s of thousands of users... a penny per user hour... containerize any app and run it from the cloud... run by vix technology this is ultra smart technology that will utilize resources with maximum efficiency...
Gw on Azure... 11/23... available for a week or for ongoing use... pennies per user hour... easy setup... utilize resources when running app, ONLY when running containerized app.... for small to medium sized companies with employees in 10s, 100s, 1000s... any app, anywhere, any device...
G series device... available now... physical device for on premise use... installs in under an hour... available from s3d or dell... and with gpu support... same as gw on Azure but for on premise...
Glassware is finally ready to scale... computing just got disrupted... jmo... glta...
I listened to it, then went back and reviewed the transcript. So many gold nuggets in it that it resembles a gold mine. Been very busy with changes in work these days, but following s3d closely. I remain a very confident investor. I hope to post more as time allows.
I am looking forward to Monday morning. This little company has made plenty of progress since the last conference call and I look forward to hearing more about it from management. Like you I am glad to be invested in this company. Whether Monday brings price appreciation or not is only of tangential importance to me at this time. My investment horizon is roughly 5 years and we are 2 years in... with 3 to go... the actual business is developing at an excellent pace... some investors really struggle to see past the near term pps... but there are also a number of us here who can see beyond that... and, of course, there are those who have already proclaimed s3d a flop... interesting how differently people see things... Monday we all get to see at least a little bit more of the story.... jmo... glta...
Correct. Some institutions have reported holdings as of 9/30. Others still listed as of 6/30. You can find institutional holdings on Nasdaq. Institutions have 45 days to report following end of quarter.
Management doesn't have to believe. They know what they have... jmo... glta...
Lol... yeah kinda... I try to ignore the drama and stay focused on business development. I enjoyed today's announcement as well as the live install video. No worries here. I've been nibbling this week. Nice price points... jmo... glta...
He's referencing institutional holdings. Not everyone has reported 9/30 positions yet.
thank you for your insightful post... always good to hear from you...
outstanding posts farrell... thank you for taking the time... will be interesting to see if there is any mention of s3d in that 11/11 webinar... regardless of whether there is or is not... it is clear S3D technology is integral to this new msft/rdht partnership...
Ahhhh... and the even greater irony is that what they thought to be virtually worthless will soon be revealed to harbor both the destructive and creative powers inherent in all paradigm shifting technologies... the imminent unveiling of glassware will be the best of news for some and the worst of news for others... when paradigms shift things get destroyed... jmo... glta...
Very funny article. Begins by admitting he has no clue regarding glassware and then proclaims that it will not work. This pretty well sums up the bear thesis... jmo... glta...
Azure already available in Canada and two new data centers to be built in Canada in 2016. Gw availability on Azure and G series devices mean solutions are available to companies. S3d pursuing a top down strategy of implementation. Resources in 2015 heavily devoted to msft... imo a terrific strategy...
Orion, thanks for this awesome post of a real world example. Really drives home how deeply embedded legacy software can be... the GW solution will be welcomed by many for its ease of use and its cost savings... jmo... glta...
Awesome not "sediment"... auto spell killing me before 6 a.m.
Sediment interview of John Morelli on S3D website blog. PB did the interview. Definitely worth a read.
By 11/15. Exact date hasn't been announced. Mid week, next week would be my guess. They'll announce date maybe on Monday. Then financials and CC maybe Thursday. Just my wag based on prior MO.
Institutional investors also reporting by 11/15.
1) manipulation
2) stealth
3) market requires more validation
4) lack of revs (early monetization)
5) balance sheet issues
6) have not yet crossed chasm
7) platforms take longer to monetize than products
There are numerous contributing factors such as the seven listed above. None of them negate the excellent progress the company is making. There will be a tipping point. I don't know when it will occur.
Exactly right Z... there are a whole lot of very good things happening here...
Excellent. Thanks for posting.
I'm with you. The company is moving forward on many fronts. "Hunkered down" long is a good description. It's happening. It will take what it takes.
I will be pleased if you are correct. I am expecting a bit over 20 mil in revs for q3. Will be delighted if we are presented with a significantly higher number.
Excellent post. Thanks for taking the time.
