Well as long as everyone involved in any type of wrongdoing is brought to justice. Including anyone who has intentionally pumped the stock to run it up, bashed the stock to run it down, made misleading or reckless statements about Nwbo's projected timelines, created agreements with other portfolio companies for their betterment at Nwbo shareholders expense, paid for other companies to promote the stock through various means, paid current directors through shares to write reports promoting the stock. Yeah as long as everyone is brought to justice I will be a very happy camper.
How many outstanding warrants? We up to 150m yet all tallied?
"Short this into the ground"..
Put your money where your mouth is big daddy. Short this right here in the $1.60's without any hedges if you are so confident.
Interesting article about advances in GBM treatment and exciting new technology. DCVax isn't mentioned. Flipper, please note the part about Optune and SOC.

Les is now saying the internal investigation is very serious? This compared to Linda's nonchalant it's all "baloney" remark. And every diehard long under the sun proclaimed that the allegations were entirely baseless and didn't even warrant acknowledgement or response by nwbo. Oh how the sentiment has changed. Funny what a little scrutiny will do..
Cldx up 20% in two days, Nwbo down 23% in two days. I'll take the day to day differences. GL
Wrong. This is the NWBO circus at it's finest.
Cldx up big again today. Nwbo down again today. Cldx $750m valuation. Nwbo $150m valuation. Cldx not under investigation for wrongdoing. Nwbo under investigation for wrongdoing. Go figure..
You may get the chance after a 15 for 1 R/S.
I find it very interesting that Les apparently underestimated the veracity of others to derail the company. Where was Les prior to last summer when AF was posting an article every other week. Where was he when the price shot up to $10 plus on the HE news just to be brought back down to the $3's by the Buzdar incident.
Did he really forget so quickly everything that happened prior to Woodford? What a crock of shi if I ever heard one. Nothing but a lame excuse for their inability to put nwbo on secure financial footing last summer when the company had a 1 billion market cap. Has Les ever heard of DNDN? And yet he is so surprised? Unbelievable!
The significance of the Kings College expansion is speculation on your part. Much has probably happened behind the scenes since October.
You don't know that NW is "hamstrung". Pure conjecture once again.
It's post like yours that really make me have serious questions about some of the posters here and their relationships with NWBO management.
It seems that what you reported is directly contradicted by NWBO's SEC filing. Please help me understand what is going on here. What I see are two scenarios:
A. Your "associate" is misrepresenting what Les actually said.
or
B. Les is intentionally misrepresenting the facts and they are being reported here by you.
Which is it?
Yes, Linda's actions yesterday tell me everything I need to know. Far more than any tall tales that may be spun.
Darn the facts straight from the 14K. I would rather believe something that an anonymous poster heard from his 'associate', who happens to be Les' neighbor, who heard him mumble that 'this time it's different' when he went to pick up the paper this morning. Yeah, I'd rather go with that. Thanks anyway. Turns out he was just listening to Evans Blue.
Markets are up nicely today. XBI and IBB both up over 2.5%. CLDX is up 10%.
But this little gem NWBO is down 7%. If it helps, just count your loss as the expensive price of a lesson regarding the impacts of toxic financing. You are paying for 1st hand training and experience, brought to you by instructor Linda Powers (it's the 2nd such lesson in only 2 months). To be fair, some folks have to repeat a course a few times before it all sinks in.
Flipper, Linda just gave away 20% of the company in the mid $2's. Why would she have done that if there were any positive news forthcoming from Europe or the US anytime soon? It only makes sense if the financing was done with Toucan. Which would be both bullish and scandalous if we are on the verge of a major catalyst. Why don't you give Les a call and ask him who the financier was? Thanks
Do you ever find it odd that Les' comments usually make it to this board 3rd or 4th hand? I do. But I guess it makes sense from a liability standpoint. Carry on..
I believe the financing yesterday is indicative of NW's investigation winding down. Linda knows what is probably going to happen next and locked in another 10M while she could at these prices. Do any of you catch my drift?
Predictions for 2016:
5 for 1 or greater reverse split around $1 price
NWBO files Chapter 11
NWBO is taken private at all time lows
Good time to load your truck, boat, wheelbarrow, etc. GL
Celldex up 11% today
NWBO down 5% today (rounded up)
Coverage initiated today on CLDX by H.C. Wainright with a buy buy buy recommendation. Hmm..where have I heard that name before? :)
This platform seems to be something you have completly immersed yourself in. I think the golden goose has been cooked with this one. But don't worry, there will be scientific breakthroughs with other technology in the near future. I'm certain of it. GL.
I think you misunderstood. I'm not blaming you. It was a compliment. You were very convincing. I wish I could have been more convincing. It would have saved your investment (if there was one) from being decimated. Did you notice how many of my predictions came true? Oh well, there's no cause for celebration in being right about stuff like that. Hope you lost nothing but time with nwbo. GL.
You probably prefer posts of the pumping variety. Sorry, can't help you there. Just to warn you, I think you will see less and less of those in the coming weeks.. This activity will start to dry up on this board as even more of the longs leave.. A few more left today.. Pretty soon, it will just be you and Flipper..
You do sound like someone much more interested in this from a scientific perspective than an investment perspective. Makes sense and explains why you wouldn't be phased by multiple 10 million offerings that could dilute holdings by 100% or more in less than a year. Maybe I should also start investing in companies for the info that can be generated, rather than financial returns..
Hedge funds don't cover 12m shares through purchasing 160 call options at a time. There are other means for doing so, as you probably noticed..
Bravo. I figured it out back in December when LP conducted the first of many distressed financings. Today sealed the deal, so I thought I would point it out for some of the others. Have you figured out the significance of the 160 call options yet?
Senti, you talked me into staying many times over the past year at much higher prices. You can pat yourself on the back for a job well done :)
Maybe you can explain the concept of cash burn rate to Tzor.
I know how shorts accomplish their covering and I know Linda Powers just delivered the shorts a final gift of what they needed to cover all of their shares at an average price in the $2's. Does it ever make you wonder who shorted the shares to begin with Flipper? Maybe the answer to that question would be the most surprising single piece of information in this whole puzzle..
Not sure what you're trying to infer Flipper. I'm just an average Joe with an average job who lost a lot of hard earned money on a suckers bet. I'm not nearly as sophisticated as someone like Linda Powers.
I'll try to explain to you what just happened. The financing today covered all of the shares that were previously shorted and then some. Everything has been hedged, there will be no short squeeze.
Depending on the details of the anti dilution clause, the financing today could have an impact to retail shareholders to the tune of a 25% to 40% dilution. In one day! Surprised more of you aren't talking about this. The time frame of your investment doesn't matter. The magnitude of the dilution from today's financing is staggering. I don't think most of you even realize what just happened. This is exactly what SoS warned of.
This one financing covers all of the shorted shares..
Adam, you and Cramer were right. You tried to warn everyone. Wish I would have listened.
Possible reasons Linda Powers conducted a massive financing today at $1.70 with full warrant coverage:
1. The partial clinical hold is expected to lift in a couple of weeks and a nice bump in the price is going to occur at that time.
2. Regulatory agencies are expected to release a favorable ruling regarding the efficacy of DCVAX L any day now. A massive increase in price is expected.
3. Direct Phase 1 results are expected to be published any day in a reputable magazine. The results are astonishing and an appreciable increase in the price is expected.
4. The investigation results are expected any day now. Linda knows that all allegations will be cleared and expects an increase in the price as investor confidence is renewed.
5. Relations are good between Linda and Neil Woodford and continued financing is not going to be a problem.
Or, all of the above afd false and therefore a desperate Linda P. is squeezing as much remaining money out of NWBO at any price possible on the way down (all legal of course)? Hmm..
Is it possible that Linda L.'s comments that things are occurring in the trial that aren't really "helping" and Bosch's comments the pseudo progression can "wreck havoc" should be taken literally instead of spun into something positive? Did Linda L. have the video taken down because the news isn't quite as good as many here want you to believe? Is it possible that scientists, doctors, and experts immediately sensed the problems described by Linda L. and the word got out which dropped the price by 30% in a single day last October? Is that a more likely explanation than a conspiracy of the "wolfpack" at work who somehow managed to do that kind of damage without noticeably increasing the shares short? I dunno, decide for yourself.
No reason to fret, TZOR. Good news is right around the corner. "Beware the Ides of March" LMAO
A few days ago I posted:
"At what point does excessive dilution become a concern like Smith warned about in his last article? Thinking we see the next financing in a matter of weeks."
A few folks responded to my post that NWBO was actually sitting on a pile of cash when they did the December financing, so it would probably be a long while before they needed $. Others said that they surely had enough money to make it through 2016 without another financing.
Well, here we are. Now, if a dummy like me can figure out what's going on, why can't the rest of you? As AVII has said many times, there probably isn't anything illegal going on here. That's the destructive beauty of it. That's what makes it so fascinating.
Those of you who bought Jan 2016, or Jan 2017 calls, your money is gone, sorry for your loss. Those of you who threw good money after bad all the way down from $12.55, your money is gone, sorry for your loss. Those of you who hold warrants, your money is gone, sorry for your loss. Those of you who bought shares as a long term investment, your investment will slowly evaporate over the coming months/years and is as good as gone, sorry for your loss.
Let this investment be a lesson to you all. May you use it to make better decisions in the future.
Not sure what you are talking about. The lack thereof?
Great post diver. Your perspective is appreciated.
The 11.9 million short count doesn't reduce the tradable float. It adds to it.
I think a previous financier dumped the warrants they received on top of their shares this week.
In your post, you mention the more than 11 million shares that are short. Do you now realize how ridiculous it sounds to say that the 160 call options were the shorts scrambling to cover? If they were worried, don't you think they would be hedging in greater volume and a faster rate? And how do you come up with the price of .09 relative worth?
