Indeed, it is great news, and if I know this movement they will make it the centerpiece of their 4/20/2011 media blitz.
Marijuana has been legal in California since 1996 - for medical patients.
And Prop. 19 was not LEGALIZATION. It was the opposite, thinly veiled prohibition.
The fact is, 54% of California voted for legalization when they voted against Prop. 19.
You need to get your information from someone besides Russ Belville.
You could begin by actually reading Prop. 19.
The real debate over California's Proposition 19 - 30 Oct 10: http://palmspringsbum.org/blog/2010/10/the-real-debate-over-californias-proposition-19/ (you'll probably have to refresh the page for the videos in the article to load).
You people got way too much time on your hands.
What with a jump in volume in one day from 5,899 shares traded to 34,654,644 shares traded the next day, to 120,148,512 shares traded two weeks later (right after Christmas), and three halt orders in a row, with trading halted for two weeks in Canada - I think it's safe to assume this one is not just on the SEC's radar but probably under their microscope.
And has been for awhile now.
I hate to break it to you, but AUTO cannot dilute this stock, or any other. Only the company can do that.
Even a dead cat bounces if it falls far enough.
Leastwise, that's what I always thought.
I think this part could be the most significant:
No longer can the offers be of 1 million shares and the offsetting bid good for the minimum 5,000 shares.
YA, THERE IS A HOST OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA EVENTS IN THE COMING MONTHS HERE IN SOCAL, I WONDER IF CBIS WILL BE ATTENDING THIS YEAR?!!!
all of your post are your opinionated nonsense.
if you have something positive to post, post it. If not, just keep it to yourself.

Stellar News!?
I beg to differ. It is everything marijuana activists have been fighting for 20 years and longer.
For one thing, the weed the government grows is TOTAL CRAP.
According to the Rand Study, you can grow enough to supply the State of California in 10,000 square feet.
http://www.rand.org/pubs/occasional_papers/OP315.html
Look at how much they say you can grow in a 25 square foot grow box. (Of course, that's a total crock of ...)
See NITE is blocking 0.09 again.
Appears NITE has 0.09 blocked.
What I find odd is that AUTO seems to be the one taking it down.
Can anyone explain why this stock, which normally might do 10k shares/day, traded 1 million shares yesterday? On the upside?
The comments at the bottom of this article give about the best abridged history of the story you're going to find: http://www.independentpoliticalreport.com/2010/06/court-judgment-kubby-regains-control-of-cannex-therapeutics/
I didn't know that CBIS no longer had claim to Cannex or any of Kubby's intellectual property.
On the other hand, Joe Pietri owns the U.S. patent for ice extraction, and he says the only difference between their method and his is that they use dry ice.
4th, about 1 week of eating it is all most people can stand. The taste is really foul. Especially after every day for a week or so.
The very thought of eating another brownie makes me gag.
well aren't you just too special for words?
you really don't want to go there with me, you really don't
What part of TOPICAL don't you people understand?
This is the kind of 'application' we're talking about here: http://antiquecannabisbook.com/chap6/CornMed.htm
You have been missing the point all day.
This is a -topical- application.
What makes this unique is that this is a -topical- application. That is news.
They aren't eating it, or smoking it, or inhaling it. It is a -topical- application.
Isn't that right?
And for the person who posted the link to Phoenix Tears and Rick Simpson's oil, that is not the same thing. People consume that oil - don't they?
Are you sure there is a connection between Rick Simpson, Phoenix Tears, and CBIS?
After a new lesion appeared on her right cheek,
alternative therapies that included the topical application
of cannabis extracts were tried.
Cannabis extracts were applied daily until her surgeon
stated that there was no need for surgery since the
lesion on her cheek was gone, However, a new lesion
had appeared on her right nostril.
The series of photos below documents the
disappearance of the lesion on the nostril after ten days
of self-administering topical cannabis extracts.
The number of "?" shares went from 15.5M to 14.3M. How could that happen? Could it be those 1.2M of "seq" shares dumped in blocks of 300k @ .08? Does the huge amount of "?" shares mean there are more such dumps coming?
15.3M ? vol, WTF?

Sell vol. 4.86 times buy vol.
Last hour, 121,325 shares sold at $0.115 and 2,200 bought at $0.118...
It was a very blatant last minute take-down. This market maker or one of his friends is just too obvious.
Highest daily volume in the history of this stock.
Dude, it's already approved in medical marijuana states, certainly in Colorado.
CBIS just rose from the dead, what does it look like just happened?
That's what I thought when I first saw it @ $0.0030 about an hour ago, and then they moved it up to $0.0293 (or thereabouts) - but it's been @ $0.0031 too long to be a typo, and the bid is currently 0.0300 by RAFF, and NITE would have noticed they weren't trading shares @ 0.031 by now, and that's too many typos - they would be careful after the first typo.
Seems to me the weight of the evidence comes down on the side of it being a signal.
That's been their bid for an hour or so, appears to me to be a signal: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/CBIS/quote
First they had their bid at $0.003 for a while, then they moved it up to $0.0293, then they moved it down to $0.0031 and it's been there for about an hour.
The time on their (NITE) $0.0031 bid is 14:15.

wow! look at today's action! is that low enough for you?

If White Widow and Maui Wowee are new strains I must have been born yesterday.
Who is the coffee guy, and who is the mushroom man, and what stocks are you talking about?
It doesn't appear to me they are trading on that exchange yet.
This should be interesting:
Rosenfeld is creating a new company, Medical Cannabis Solutions, which is going to attempt to achieve something never done before, write its own state law. As the face of the movement, Rosenfeld has credibility when speaking about the battle for his medicine and the necessity to make it available to all patients. He estimates that it will take about six months to a year to complete the project.
I would hope they're too busy to hold every shareholders' hand.
If they meant business days, they're talking about April 15th.
