Does anybody have any evidence about the civil suit?EOM
JMHO, TAfirehawk
How do you know the civil suit is proceeding?
I am not sure of the correlation to voting shares and the judge accepting the merits of the civil suit.
As Seahag said, not voting the shares could be a NEGATIVE vote and would have thrown out the current management team. Now who here really wants the new management team thrown out????
cabos_tacos, you sure seem to be jumping back and forth over that fence a lot here lately.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Another classic basher post....
from shamus....
To Rich McBride:
You promised not to vote your shares. Your promise, as written, was unconditional. By your own admission, you broke that promise. Therefore, why should anyone believe anything else you have ever promised, or might promise in the future?
First of all, in classic basher form, you take the information out of context. Rich was asked if he would vote his shares to keep himself President and CEO. He said no to this, not that he would never vote his shares.
So you completely twisted this 180 degrees, at least you are showing good basher form, good job!!!
JMHO, TAfirehawk
A post like this makes me sick to my stomach.
HOW IN THE WORLD CAN YOU OF ALL PEOPLE BASH A PERSON'S OPINION ON THIS BOARD
Simply ludicrous. You should be tarred and feathered for such a post. Wish I could say what I really felt, but I would get deleted for sure!!!!
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Do you understand what a statement like this means Ken...
from KendrickCook...
Continued involvement by McBride, a man on felony probation for
organized fraud.
I am still amazed that you have the nerve to state your "facts" like this and equally amazed you aren't being sued.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
I think the Q3 numbers will be better than even koko said. Q2 only had 4 weeks of Secureview, so it stands to reason if the shipping quantity maintains or increases that Q3 will be significantly better. This is simple math printmail01, do you need some help with multiplication? I assume not so I won't post any dollar amounts here.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
You are exactly right koko, but the company has learned its lesson on releasing PR's before they actually happen.
The company is in no hurry to release good/bad information. Everything is and will continue to proceed slowly and cautiously.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
It is simply people buying low and selling high. The good news at the meeting is not GREAT NEWS, which is needed to jump the stock up permanently.
Everybody, including myself, is in a hurry for this thing to recover, but it will take time and patience.

I have a copy of SKYMALL finally. Anybody want it scanned still?

On the subject of http://www.strategicvista.com/default.asp
What does everybody think about their 2.4GHz wireless stuff?
I believe it may be a better fit, partially because of price, to the average home user. I have thought all along that the home user side is much smaller than the commercial/government side.
Of course I am aware of the advantages of the SecureView line, but 2.4GHz is pretty nice for close range stuff in a home. Obviously in a large office building 2.4GHz is a waste of time and SecureView fits that market segment perfectly. And I am sure the government would not want security video on 2.4GHz because it would be too easy to crack into.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Glad to see your mind open up at least a little, I think.
Don't get into such a rush to bundle a lot of bells and whistles when the whole shooting match has barely even got off the ground.
What makes you think that SEVU isn't looking at bundling exactly what you are talking about, connection to PC, WWW, and remote notification/monitoring. They may make it easy for an under-educated person on the subject to take stabs at them, but be sure that you aren't punching holes in them. These people aren't dummies, these things take time. The people on this board with manufacturing experience, which I have, will attest to the eternity that is seems to take to get a new/improved product off the ground and running.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
LATE BREAKING NEWS!!!! Please visit the following website for info on an inexpensive system for the PC.
http://www.strategicvista.com/default.asp?local=menu1item2b&sku=DM111
They sell this for $169.99 http://www.strategicvista.com/accestore/list.asp?local=lorexprod#lorex
Seems tough for SEVU to re-invent the wheel for less than $170
I hope this puts to bed any more non-sense from printmail01 or anybody else.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
printmail01, you think you are so much smarter than the people at SEVU, why don't you try to patent some of these great ideas.
Do you really think that nobody at SEVU has thought about or is not testing exactly what you are asking for????
Don't you remember the system they demonstrated to the government that was able to "paint" a motion detect area thru SOFTWARE and record people walking through the door??? The reason it isn't available to you and me is the 5 figure price tag.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Again and again you show how little you know about SEVU or Rich.
SEVU was fighting the shorters for months before the stock took a dive.
Printmail01, you are close to going over the line on your claims of fraud. You don't know the real story. You should not be stating that SEVU committed fraud when you don't have ANY of the facts, this could put you in a compromising situation in the future.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
SEVU must pick and choose its battles because money and time are really limitied quantities in a startup company.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
That is an interesting viewpoint, to each his own I guess.
The judge will decide the class action's merits.
Personally, I think YOU SHOULD GET REAL and get over your deep desire to destroy Rich and SEVU because of personal conflicts.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
SEAVIEW JUST MADE THE BIG TIME!!!!!!!
SEVU finally has a product listed forsale on EBAY. Now they have finally "made it"!!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1164521946
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Doubt you get many responses as you are in a very, very, very, very, very small group of people joining the class action.
If my understanding is correct, the law firm that gets the judge's decision with be the "last one standing". The others will have to skin another chicken. So I am not sure that it matters which one you join. I recommend picking one that actually has other clients signed up, this should greatly narrow your choices!!!
I would strongly recommend you not invest too much into this venture as the merits of the class action have been heavily discussed and laughed at!!! And if for some crazy reason that HELL freezes over and it goes to court, AND we get 40 days and 40 nights of rain and SEVU losses...you can still be compensated without being a lead plaintiff.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
A@P looks like somebody trying to smooth over the waters before he gets his butt hauled off to jail!!!
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Any comments on the low trading volume for the past two days?
Seems kinda strange to me. Well maybe not so strange but more "back to normal" for SEVU.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
That makes sense gotinearly, but pure speculation at this point. Hopefully all the manipulation is behind us and the success of the company will drive us right to AMEX. AMEX is the key to long term success and reducing the chance of a major crash by lies/shorters.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Amazing how official information, un-official information, and simply no information can be used to bash a company.
The breakin is a legal matter that should not be disclosed except through the police when necessary. Rich actually was trying to do everybody a service by keeping us up to date. STOP LOOKING AT THE GLASS HALF EMPTY.
The stock purchases are real simply too. They actually happened as I was told about them the day they happened. I didn't actually see the transaction, but I had first person knowledge of managements purchases. I agree we should have seen the SEC filing by now, but maybe management is trying to keep a low profile.
Stepping down by Rich had taken place back in February. Why in the world are you bringing up such old information??? This really confuses me. Are you running out of bad things to say about the company that you actually bring up good news of the new management team taking over????
SEVU doesn't have to tell you or anybody else a damn thing!!!! Any extra information was simply going above and beyond the call of duty and look how twisted some people make it.
Is the entire investment community really this negative???? I hope not or I better leave before I get sucked down into the black hole of negativity.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
I am back, had to reformat after WinXP failed to install as I wanted. I am trying to catch up on the board, not done yet but wanted to comment on two things I read so far....
First, the discussion on the break-in was actually quite good. We should see some sort of update/resolution from the company. I asked this question while I was at the SEVU office the first week of April. {Side note: FG spent 5 hours there, I spent MUCH longer with SEVU and agree 100% with his opinion} I feel confident in saying that at least SEVU probably knows who broke in, but at the same time there are circumstances we do not know about that can delay action by the company. If SEVU doesn't want to press charges at least at this time, then we will hear nothing because it is still open and comments on an open case are very limiting. The company has enough lawyers hired to make sure nothing happens in error. I also know the overriding factor in putting these old issues to bed is the current and future performance of the company. The current leadership wants to put the old issues behind by simply having the company perform. Some things are not worth digging up at this time.
Second, I love thinking of SEVU as a family dinner table. If you missed it, go back to the message I am replying to and read it. Also, don't think for a minute that Rich doesn't continue to sit at the dinner table. He may not be the head of the table, but he is still a very important part of the success of the company. At the same time, I have heard Rich say that George is ultimately responsible for SEVU and George understands this I am sure. Rich may be asked for advice or opinion, but be sure that George is running the show.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
I think it is safe to assume that any production/sales numbers that the NEW, PROFESSIONAL management team would say at the meeting would be easily attained. These people are not going to over-state anything, so IMO the 20,000 number is VERY conservative.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Be nice to get the company to state some success like this through orders received. We surely don't want George talking about potential sales at these shows like Rich did last year. But, we all need to hear concrete sales from this.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Ken, that is perhaps the funniest thing I have ever heard you say....
Why would McBride and SEVU allow Elgindy to attack them in such a manner?
The answer is simple, Anthony told the truth and there was not, and is not a single basis for a law suit against him.
Amazing that you are posting again to defend your friend/employer at this very moment.
Please show ALL of us where Rich was covering up poor sales with bogus PR's. The PR's were forward thinking, not rear-end coverups.
What a knee slapper, thanks again Ken, you never cease to amaze and amuse.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
The big money comes from contracts to direct customers/governments not retailers. Who cares about the retail segment, as you stated, very little money gets back to SEVU. DUH, why do you think they have been working on direct sales instead of getting SecureView into Wal-Mart??!!
Thanks for validating the past 12 months of advertising of SEVU, great support for the company BillBranum. Did you just jump the fence again? I can't tell, it's kinda like watching a tennis match.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
I apologize for my over-zealous posts. I got a little carried away and don't want you to be reserved in commenting.
I was just a little surprised when I got home from work that SEVU was up strong again and all the posts were hacking on bigbizz, especially when I thought his numbers were way to conservative to begin with in my opinion.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Stevie, I would never label you as a basher for your comments. You and the others that jumped on the bandwagon of "cautios optimism" were trying to say bigbizz or anybody else shouldn't even post forward looking statements here. I definetely disagreed with that, but never thought you a basher for your opinion.
There is no reason for you to keep your comments to yourself, just as bigbizz should voice his opinion every chance he gets - that is what makes this board what it is.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
And luckily there are very little changes to a parking lot system from the one already shipping today. Which means there should be very little lag time to shipment in mass quantities after the evaluation period.
Now that production and sales are rolling along, it is easier to see why Rich was so optimistic last year when he thought all this would happen by October. The penetration of SecureView into existing and new markets has limitless potential and "the market" will soon see that.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Come on FG, you're spoiling my fun...
I know that Stevie and the others comments had a point.
I know I went overboard making mine, but I haven't posted much lately and it felt good to have 5 in a row!!!
Hey, it isn't so bad, I keep seeing green everyday.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
AMEX is the key, but more than that, success by SEVU is the catalyst to get that prized key.
SEVU only gets to the AMEX when things have improved enough to meet their criteria. Then and only then can we escape the MM manipulation.
The stock market is too big a game to police everybody, which is why there is an OTCBB. All the unimportant stocks are there. I am sure there are a lot more SEVU's out there that could use more policing by the SEC into the MM manipulation, but bigger stocks take a bigger priority.
AMEX IS THE KEY to sustained success.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
I like beating a dead horse...
If all you want is to read cold, hard facts, get off this board and only read PR's. Plain and simple.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
I think "YOU PEOPLE" don't get it....
Why in the world (wanted to use stronger words, but don't want this deleted) would such a simple post on this board crash the stock again???? The only thing that matters to anybody on the street is what the company does, not some un-informed poster on a message board.
Can't find anything wrong with SEVU so attack the next poster that speaks his mind???? GEESH
JMHO, TAfirehawk
KEEP UP THE GOOD POSTS BIGBIZZ!!!!
Since there is nothing bad to talk about with SEVU, I guess "they" have to be negative to somebody and you were the chosen one.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Well if we can't ever speculate on anything, why in the world are we even posting messages on an un-official board. This is not company sponsored and bigbizz and myself are not paid by SEVU.
You sure are taking the fun out of posting on ANY message board, geesh, lighten up, SEVU is skyrocketing!!!
JMHO, TAfirehawk
I disagree, getting excited in a PR is where the problem occurred, not on a message board from a non-insider.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
I share bigbizz's enthusiasm, but not as much or maybe more...
I surely won't discourage a person that is not affiliated with SEVU from throwing around any figures. Seems to me that we are here to do just that.
The numbers that bigbizz put on this board should in no way be compared with numbers from a PR!!!!
My personal feeling from what I have seen over the past 15 months is that the next 6-7 quarters should reach NINE FIGURES in gross income. With what is coming down the pipe for SEVU, I believe $100,000,000 is reachable from now until the end of next year.
Only time will tell, but that is my opinion.
JMHO, TAfirehawk
Logis-Tech I believe, I don't have a link handy, but will look when I get back from the grocery store.
