?? - Welcome to Canada?
Has there been a new agreement or JV forged with a Canadian company that I have not read about, or are you referring to the JECC component, i.e. equipment manufacturing / installation?
Wow, feeling a bit insignificant compared to some of you. I have a few million, but that's a far cry from the 20's or 30+ million noted earlier by Yuna and Trex. Other than Snowie, I would guess King is in the range somewhere as well. Oh well, at least I was able to accumulate a couple million at the .0005 to .0008 range, but we all have our "risk" level on overall investment $$'s tied up - it's just nice to sit in the green for a while. Now if the financing can get secured, I feel confident "the color" won't be changing.
GLTA
Will do. I actually used to have a subscription to Textile World in a previous life with National Service Industries, but that goes back quite a ways.
Hi ES1 - to 'noodle' on....
A lingering question of mine regarding the article in Textile World has to do with the qualification used to identify this product as "fabric of the month". I would have to assume that in order to garner this type of recognition, samples would need to be examined and compared to other fabrics or standards used as a baseline. I wander what those qualification included? Did these qualifications include only look and feel, or did it go beyond to test strength, flexibility, etc. etc. If so, what were the results and what are some of the details behind qualifying for their "fabric of the month".
I believe it was at 1.5B at that time. correct?
It actually hit 1.5c on the overseas news back in July/Aug 2009, and I don't believe financing was even part of the conversation at that point (from memory), so we are a bit further along with the latest opportunities.
News on the latest financing (IMO) will bring a level of confirmation to some of us that TXMC has reached a new milestone. With that milestone reached, I would agree with the .01 to .03 range. Then we wait for the buildout and eventual revenue generating activities - at that point, if we get there, the PPS can push through to another level.
Snowie - August 4th 2009. (I know you stated "estimated", but just clarifying). It was a nice run for a short time.
Nice find DGT. Thanks for the link.
King - agree completely! Now that is a CEO thinking outside the box to maximize revenue potential vs. relying on royalty or fees from a patented technology. Haven't read through all the details yet and thought through impacts, but on the surface, this looks to be quite positive.
All or Nothing order? Or was your buy below the bid amount showing in L2? Pehaps the buyer had an all or nothing order pending. IMO - not saying there isn't MM fishiness going on as well, just some other possibilities.
Lost L2 in the afternoon on Ameritrade. Seems others had it via other providers, so likely not a global problem. I simply couldn't see the bids and asks to see what the pending volumes looked like. Hopefully your example isn't MM manipulation attempting to get hits on only the ask.
Level 2 empty?
In the 3 1/2 years of owning this stock, I've never seen an empty LVL2 (no BIDS/ASKS). Perhaps something is just screwy with TD Ameritrade. Anyone else have LVL2 via another provider - any BIDS/ASKS showing up?
DGT - I'll go with..........
Trading nuttiness. No new news that I am aware of, other than latest information Yuna brought to our attention a few weeks back. I'm not complaining, but there is no reason some joker won't send it all the way back down with a 1000 share order just before close.
Hoping for a bag of crumb rubber in my stocking!!!!
Yuna - Same question. Where is TSU (a private company to my knowledge) posting their business plan publicly? Is this another article found out on the web?
Appreciate the post!
mediumgolf@yahoo.com
ES - yes, nice to close out in that manner, but why the constant 'turpentine' applied to that paint job every trading day after hours? I know, the assumption is that MM's just cleaning up orders for the day, but consistently back to the open or lower after hours each day? Opinion?
Interesting - I wander when that happened. At the end of the day, I don't care who builds it, as long as it provides the same functionality and doesn't cost a fortune.
Sounds like a plan. Don't know if this is more of a long-term / 5-10 year strategy or if they are on a fast-track to get the new plant operational quickly.
Nice find - I was searching through the county / state .gov sites for something like this last night. Indeed a nice find, as I couldn't produce anything after my search.
I especially like the "Project Significance" section that describes the uses of the processed materials, then the last line stating that TSU & Tirex already have purchase orders lined up for that product - NICE!
What is missing is a timeline for all the inspections, constructions start, equipment manufacturing, targeted startup, etc. Would like to see details on the associated timelines.
Will feel alot better when construction actually starts or I can pull up Google Maps and see that ground-breaking has begun (assuming the satelite image is recent).
Both articles were still accessible as late as yesterday morning, but the links are gone now. Likely just "findarticles.com" purging old links as would be normal on any of these type sites. Not likely that news from Fenton, MO is of such an importance that archives need to be accessible for too great a time.
The real question....has anybody contacted Tire Shredders Unlimited and confirmed their construction/expansion timeline, and better yet, confirmed whether Tirex is included as the equipment vendor in that effort? Their website is a brochure site (one pager), so not much information availalbe - no email address.
Exactly what promise are you referring to? Is it the one you read from this message board. I suppose it is up to the reader to decide whether those are made up, slightly modified or word for word. Nothing against Lance - I simply don't put 100% stock in anything I read on a message board unless I obtained the information myself.
I would like to believe it is true, but that is only because I own stock. I don't have any personal knowledge that there will be news tomorrow, next week, next month or next year, so it is simply a waiting game as far as I am concerned (same as the past several years).
Quiet yes, because there is nothing to talk about. Same waiting game that many have been doing for years. Maybe the latest promise will be fulfilled, then again, maybe not. We've seen several come and go over the years. IMO, JT is either playing this smarter this time around and waiting for everything to be confirmed, or we just went through another promisary period and will have nothing to show for it at the end. Hopefully we will see the former occur.
Earlier this year - sure about that? Not that I wouldn't be pleased with that level PPS, but aren't you referring to the end of 2009? Did I miss a 1 day blip along the way?
Would be nice, but that would value the company at about $33million (about 15X current valuation). Not sure if one agreement can accomplish that, but a growth plan, proven revenue flow, and/or pipeline of potential sales can add to a perceived value. I personally wouldn't mind some positive news going into the Holiday.
For Sure - nice to be back in the world of "tenths" again >> 1/10th of a penny.
IMO - If I were JT, I would view potential steps forward as my opportunity to make my mark in the business world and have positive impact on peoples lives. If we find out that the recent opportunities turn out to be valid, that will lay a good foundation to grow from.
Trex...now that makes sense - thanks for the clarification. Sorry you spent the commission for only $10 worth of stock, but I guess that is the way it goes sometimes. With as many shares as I have, I will play around with the stock at times ($100 here, $100 there), and felt bad for the 3.1mil order, so the 105k order was mine to reset the pps back on top. Not that I think anything is going to happen soon, as I have been waiting for years just the same.
Why the new MM's?
Did anyone notice that it appears as if there are a number of new MMs appearing in L2? I'm not sure how to research past MM history of actual buy/sells, or just unfilled bids/asks. However I am curious, as it relates to KBLB, if a change to include a new set of MM's translates to anything. For example, I don't believe I've seen STXG or CANT on the L2 board in the past.
Any insight?
$3k investment erased. I wander why an MM or otherwise wants to hold this at .0008. Unless it is just MM "shenanigans", somebody dropped $2800 at market, for some w@nker to invest $10 to take the PPS back down. Doesn't make sense.
What is the basis for this "IMO"? Is your IMO just ongoing speculation or do you have anything concrete to support? Not looking to call you to the line, rather just curious as to how you are justifying a 25% increase in SP (outside of pure speculation or self-desire).
I've done it in the past as well, but I have to put some limits on my holdings, other than a couple hundred thousand likely here and there to play with the PPS. I see Yuna tossed a grand at it today, only for MMs or others to take a hundred $s away with some low volume buys.
Keep it going Johnny - nice to see an erasure of the pittiful 2500 shares purchased out of the gates this morning....a whole $1.75. How about scooping up the remaining 4.5 to 5 million at the ask to get us back to the "tenth of a cent" range again.
Thanks for posting. Although news or some insight into agreements or commitments would be nice, I would tend to agree with John that there is no need in coming out of the gates with a PR of what is in the works and what "could be" (we've been there many times before). Let's do this right, and wait until the "could be" is a confirmed "will be" that has supporting evidence and a clear executable roadmap, signed agreements, implementation plan, communication plan, etc. If everything currently "in the works" falls through, then we are simply back to where we were and can settle back into a waiting mode without any unfounded volitility.
IMO - when we can get a working system up and running, and obtain real data to run some metrics / models against, that is the point the business can begin to set some growth targets and have data to support sales and marketing efforts.
Total Volume (3.6M) doesn't appear to include an additional 3+ million shares that were traded between 1:32 and 1:33pm. Shows in L2, but not in total volume. Strange.
Looks like 40k or your 50k order for .0952. Perhaps a MM felt your inquiry was justified and filled the order for you. LOL.
IMO - because we've been waiting for developments for so long, why believe we are in a better spot now. Agree that the article looks positive, but until validated and confirmed through a PR from JT of which can be validated in some way, I can't see continuing to add to ones basis. Perhaps some level of volume will be seen once we get a clearer picture on what the latest news means for TXMC, is this just a sale of equipment and support/maintenance, a partnership, what?
Thanks Yuna. Will be good for JT to lay claim to a verifiable customer source. My sights will be set moreso on the timeframe when the actual production facility is live. I don't have any illusions that a prive company will necessarily reveal production metrics, profitability or otherwise, but the roots will start to take hold and can be built upon as a solid reference.
Not that it matters, but the last price was $0.099 (not $0.096) with the date/time stamp of 04:00:10 PM ET. Tried to give everyone a brighter weekend, but only the volume got recorded, not the last buy price.
IMO, JT will not be spreading any news until the plan is substantiated further. Although Tire Shredders Unlimited assured the city council that investments would be made by his enterprise and Tirex, that doesn't mean JT has signed on the dotted line for any specified amount, nor does it mean that a contract has been finalized for the TCS system hardware, installation, maintenance, consultation or otherwise. Agreed, it looks good on the surface from the limited information gleaned so far, but one theory could be that JT is waiting on certain commitments before any PR on the subject. JMHO. It won't change my position either way, but it would be nice to see some progress after a decade of nothing.
Nice - that is encouraging. There should be enough resources from the construction industry available with all the unemployment. So an April/May startup. Good find.
