Sure is definitely staggered and trying to get his legs back right now.
I'm glad they decided to take questions as well. Someone must have gotten to Berger and told him that no questions = PR disaster. This is going to be an interesting CC.
You guys do realize that this Elliot Favus report was a competition sponsored survey, don't you?
This was a smear campaign and a successful one for the time being. Epic trial will tell the story one way or the other.
Make that does not like to see
Agreed that no questions is typically not a good sign, but I think this is nothing more than an attempt to stop the bleeding.
Berger likes seeing his first born being smeared and besmirched all over the Internet, so he is going to attempt to counter the claims made in the last few days that Ponatinib is a toxic, "dirty" drug.
I'm not so sure this is a going to help though.
And that will be gone by the end of the year at this rate
To be fair to BTH, Alxn has 1 bil in cash
That prick has been selling this stock for months now.
I don't know about the other gurus, but I say mommy please make them stop!
I don't think it was directed at you. If you follow the lineage, There was one poster who went in a conspiracy theory direction. I am not sure that poster is even an Ariad bull, just maybe an AF hater.
How exactly are the Ariad longs (on this board) starting to sound like PPHM longs?
Don send me your address so I can send you a new keyboard. Between twitter and here, I'm pretty sure you pounded the letters off of your's today.
Funny, Padzur called Ponatinib exquisite, yet AF's bio investor buddy called it a dirty drug.
Adam's article is bush league at best. How about talking to some of the Kol's and ask them what they think of the drug prior to writing that garbage.
It will go down
Yep, all mine. LOL
I own a lot
The bitching, crying and moaning here is a screaming signal to grab my cojones and jump in.
If you sold this down here you deserve to lose money. You should be buying here not selling.
So what do you think? Going to 10/12?
Well this is one time I would love to be wrong
What unmet need is that?
Sorry, but unless 113 shows it head in egfr, I don't see it. 113 would be a me too in Alk + (although a potentialy better me too). I don't know enough about breakthrough status to opine if 113 would qualify for it w/o filing an unmet need (ie egfr).
This, along with Harv's sales, is a modestly bearish development to the simpleton crowd in the short term as I see it.
Is 113 filling any unmet need now that LDK has received breakthrough status?
That's the question I have at least.
$60/12 bil mc???
Questionable as to overvalue, but what do you model for Pona peak sales?
I think that is the undefined factor with regard to Ariad valuation.
Homeboy you are preaching to choir here for sure. Much love for the Harv in my just completed house. You might even call it the house that Harv built.
He may not be Dew's favorite guy, but he has done a helluva job for Ariad investors in the last 5 years. Anything from here is gravy as far as I am concerned.
BTW, this watered down version of the hard ass BTH is BS. Bring back the old guy please!
That hump! He got me by a buck.
I dumped 1/3 of mine at 21 and change.
Perhaps you have heard of the sell the news phenomenon. My guess is that if you were to do a survey of all biotech stocks and check pps after the events you have sighted you would prob see very similar pps movement.
11 for 11 is quite impressive though.
What I am always trying to figure out is the quality of these opinions.
I have never been one to take medication. Always relied on exercise, deep breathing and some light meditation. I was recently turned on to SAME to help take the edge off of some excessive stress and pressure. I can definitely say it has helped with relieving feeling overwhelmed and elevate my mood. No side effects from what I can tell. You can buy it at Costco for about $40 for 2 month supply.
Ok...I will take AP26113
This has been going on for a few weeks. Here's one for the conspiracy crowd:
How bout SAC and their redemptions?
Where's Fidelity?
I think I have a better shot of being CEO of Gild than Berger
I followed him on Ziop for a while. Seemed reputable. I did not know he followed aria
Anyone have access to Jefferies research. A good poster from YMB posted what looks like Iclusig scripts for the first 3 weeks from Jefferies. Looking for the whole report.
TIA
Last time it was announced just before the opening. Slight dip then a Huge volume day move up.
My guess is the same today.
I'm going with 20 mil at 19.25-19.50.
FWIW, I don't think that offering would send the share price down to 16 or 17. It's not that big of a deal if they do it as an offering. The last offering was absolutely necessary. The fact that it got gobbled up and the shareprice took off from there was a testament to the fact that it was such a strong positive for the company.
I think going about it this way would send a better message to market at this point. Let's not dwell over this for another three days. The company needs money to get into the promised land.
From my perspective, the shareholders have been taking a "temporary hit" for more than 20 years now. The market cap is over $3 billion because of the enormous amount of shares outstanding. I think from the markets perspective you now move from being a small time R&D biotech to a drug company by getting big boy financing like the rest of the world does. We all pay for the cost of capital in business. I think it's time to stop diluting the shareholders. If Ponatinib is the Superdrug that Ariad feels it is, this interest will be a nonevent in 5 years.
That's my two cents.
Yeah I read it last night. I think it would be a better option for their financing issues. the market would take it as a positive that they didn't dilute. I just wonder how much they would need to raise. Prob $200-$300 mil
Me too... Just need to read further into the PR from IRWD b/c it said something about 7.5% of the US net sales of their drug.
Like the idea of not diluting the PPS, but don't want to give away the ranch here.
Here is the PR:
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/ironwood-completes-175-million-debt-150000715.html
ARIA has not finalized its financing plans, but expressed significant
interest in a similar non-dilutive debt structure to the recently completed IRWD
financing where debt is tied to future product revenues
